Our family was so pleased with this property. It exceeded our expectations and was our favorite spot during our Hawaiian island tour. The unit is extremely clean and well appointed. Great location and great lanai/balcony to sit and take in the ocean. Perfect for relaxation with all the amenities you need. We will be back! Great communication by the owner! Our kids (12 and 16) enjoyed this more than the hotels we stayed.

It is a spectacular room in every way. Sleep number bed, full kitchen stocked with spices and many other things, fabulous decorating and furniture, mirrored wall that made it feel larger than its already substantial size, big lanai with bistro chairs to see over the railing, plenty of beach chairs, umbrellas and beach toys. The location is probably the best on Kaanapali’i beach.

The location of this condo is PERFECT. Walking distance to many restaurants and shopping. You can see the beautiful beach and the mountains from the balcony. Julie checks in with you during your stay and has stocked the condo with everything you could ever want. She provided beach chairs which were great. The condo lets you switch out beach towels so you always have clean towels. It's so nice to have direct access to the beach. Staff at the condo is very friendly. Both Julie and Karen were easy to communicate with. Condo was clean. We can't wait to return to Maui!

This is a beautifully updated unit with an amazing view off the lanai. The bed is very comfortable and we enjoyed that it was a Sleep Number mattress. The kitchen is perfectly equipped and I was able to prepare and serve 12 people dinners most nights. We had friends and family staying in various units at The Whaler and this unit was not only the central gathering spot, but also the envy of everyone else in different units. The Whaler is my absolute favorite with its low key, simple pleasures and this unit was fantastic.

Julie was an amazing host, but unfortunately we did not actually get to stay in this room. Two days before check-in, the unit above Julie’s left the bathtub on overnight flooding Julie’s unit. Julie rebooked us into another unit without us having to do anything. She also checked in on us throughout our stay and continued to give recommendations, answer questions, and went out of her way to organize snorkel gear since her unit had it and our new unit did not. The Whaler property was wonderful and we hope to come back and stay in Julie’s unit next time.

Love the view from the Lanai! Great sun during the day and sunset watching each evening. Watching the loading and unloading of the catamarans for the snorkel trips or sunset cruises is always fun too! The location is perfect for early walks/runs along the ocean or footpath.
The condo itself was very clean and well stocked and maintained, even has beach chairs to hang out on the sand. We will return.

If you have the money, stay here. It's an adorable but large space, with excellent views of the water. and a large lanai. I splurged on this place for my 50th birthday so I may not ever be able to com back, but it was peaceful and exactly what I wanted and needed. Definitely recommend.

We have been to Kaanapali three times - staying at Sheraton and Westin before - and found this to be the best option for our family. It was very nice to be steps from the beach. There were lots of extras provided that made the stay very comfortable.

We were quite pleased with our stay at this pleasant beachside rental unit and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it. The condo development is well situated, in a beautiful locale, and in walking distance to shopping, restaurants and kayak rentals, and some catamaran excursions and is within a 10-15 minute drive of grocery and other shopping, the historic town of Lahaina, and other restaurants . The unit owner is terrific. She has supplied the unit with just about everything one could need, including kitchen supplies, beach chairs, a beach umbrella, and beach toys, indoor games for children, a cooler chest, two televisions, and much more. The unit is nicely furnished and has lovely sea and countryside views . The bedroom’s Sleep Number mattress was comfortable and was automatically adjustable on both sides to accommodate each sleeper’s preference for mattress firmness. The living room’s pull-out sofa bed had available an egg crate type foam topper, which was adequate, particularly for children. A minor suggestion: For those guests who prefer/need more back support and firmness, a 3” thick memory foam topper for the sofa bed would be a welcome and appreciated addition. The unit’s thoughtful, and well-organized owner has not only provided a nice, well-stocked unit, but has supplied helpful instructions, traveling directions, recommendations for shopping, dining, and gassing up the rental car, and other essential tips, which my family as Maui neophytes greatly appreciated. As for the condo complex, the management company maintains the premises and its grounds well and attractively, and the daily fee includes Wi-Fi, a concierge to book sightseeing and restaurant reservations(if you haven’t done so as to the latter well in advance of arrival as recommended during high season), a garage that has shopping carts to transport groceries and such to your room, beach/pool towels use, use of a gym, washers and dryers, beach chairs, pool loungers, outdoor showers and barbeques, tables and chairs, and shaded loungers all on the lawn adjacent to the beach. My family and I enjoyed the condo and environs and wouldn’t hesitate to highly recommend the unit and its wonderful and helpful owner.

My wife and I greatly enjoyed our stay! The property is located right on Kaanapali Beach which is beautiful with calm water. The snorkeling towards Black Rock was excellent (get out there early in the morning as it gets a bit crowded)! The condo was very clean and exceeded our expectations. The owner, Julie, was very responsive and helpful! Looking forward to our return trip!

We have stayed at the Whaler about ten times, and this condo #759 is one of our favorites. For one, it is very stocked. Lots of beach equipment and the kitchen has two coffee makers. Another plus is the Lanai is always shaded. Julie always responded quickly to my texts. We were so pleased that we booked it again for next summer.

I found my home away from home when in Maui. I would highly recommend booking this unit when in Maui. You will not find a cleaner or fully equipped property. The location and view are what separate it from all others. I am already planning another trip to Maui only next time I'll stay longer.

My husband Bill and I can't find enough words to describe the wonderful stay we had in Julie's condo at the Whaler. When you first walk in you go "WOW". The condo is very large. It has been updated in the last few years. The kitchen has everything you will need to prepare a meal. The living and dining room are spacious. The master bedroom is very large with the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in on a vacation. The bed is a sleep number and has convinced us to purchase one in the future. Plenty of storage is in the condo for your clothing and luggage. Julie has stocked the condo with beach chairs, umbrellas, cooler and all sorts of toys and water gear. You will want for nothing. When you get to the slider doors leading onto the lani, you go "Wow". The views are unforgettable. The lani is very specious and you have views of the West Maui mountains to your left and views of the Pacific Ocean to your right. You can see the Island of Lana'i off in the distance. Palm trees along the shoreline are constantly moving with the breeze. The grounds of the Whaler are beautiful and very well maintained. The pool is refreshing and the guys in the pool hut are there to help you with all your outdoor needs for water activities, towels and other items they offer for sale, "Sunscreen"! I can not say enough for the staff of the Whaler. You are greeted all day long with Aloha and smiles. The customer service is "5 Star". The 3 mile stretch of beach offers shopping at the Whaler Village next to the Whaler Resort, wonderful places to eat, and of course a beach that goes on forever. Julie is a great host, answered all our questions and stayed in touch with us during our visit. We are so blessed to have chosen Julie's condo for our 12 day stay. We look forward to returning in the near future. Thank you Julie!!!

We loved staying in room 759 at The Whaler—Julie provides high quality everything—bedding, furniture, dishes, linens, and kitchen items. The condo has a gorgeous view and balcony that is great for breakfast, relaxing and sunset views. We walked to dinner and shopping and even took a snorkel boat trip that left steps from the front of the condo. Everything was very comfortable. We can’t wait to go back.

Unit # 759 was as perfect as previous reviews stated. The Whaler's Condo Building and grounds are beautiful and pristine. The unit itself is very open and comfortable with an amazing view of the ocean and beach. The sleep number bed was as comfortable as described. We enjoyed the balcony, spotting whales every time we sat outside and it provided the best view in town for the nights when we cooked and stayed in for dinners. The location right on Kaanapali Beach is great, having one of the nicest beaches in Maui right out our door was such a plus, not to mention having the Whaler's Village shopping mall and great beachfront restaurants within a short walk was a huge plus. We will definitely return, thanks for the lovely accommodations!

We recently stayed in this Whaler Condo and the experience was everything we could hope for. We would give more than five stars if we could. The place was stocked with everything we would want, plus amenities not usually found in the typical rental like Xboxes, binoculars, and the comfortable Sleep Number bed. The view in the morning and evening is to die for. The place was spacious, super clean and very comfortable. The Whaler is our favorite place to stay in Maui and this is our favorite condo that we’ve stayed in. Owner communication and support were great. The owners are genuinely interested in making your stay a great experience. We hope we can come back and stay here soon.

At first we thought it would be noisy on the side of whaler village but it wasn’t and it closes at 9, and it was entertaining to sit and watch all the catamarans pull up for tours.The sunsets were stunning. We will definitely go back and stay in the condo again. The resort itself was very clean and nice and although the pool isn’t that big it never felt overly crowded.

Highly recommend this condo, the location is perfect. Just a few steps to the beach, short walk to black rock for awesome snorkeling, and really convenient to have the shops just next door. The view from the balcony is even better than the photos can convey, and the condo itself was comfy and stocked with everything we needed. We stayed in a few different places during our trip to Maui and this was our favorite. The host was very gracious and provided a ton of useful recommendations and travel tips for us that came in handy.

My husband, my13 year old son, and I stayed in this spacious 1 bedroom condo with a pull-out couch. We were able to feel the comforts of home while away from home. A fully equipped kitchen, when we were in the mood to cook was most helpful to have every utensil you'll need. The back patio was our favorite place to eat meals, sip drinks, and read from as the views are amazing. There are grills down on the grounds that I wish we would have taken advantage of, but will next time we return. The shower was spacious and has 2 shower heads. The Master bedroom is extremely spacious and the Sleep Number bed was a new experience and provided great sleep. TV in both master and living room, X-box, and games in a cabinet. The free laundry unit near the elevator was most helpful and the condo owner even provided detergent. You will have all the comforts of home from shampoo and conditioner to snorkel gear and boogie boards at your place. I loved the location of the condo right among the Whaler Village for walking to restaurants or shopping. Snorkeling right outside your condo, chairs provided by condo and clean and friendly condo staff is the cherry on top of this delightful condo. The condo owner was the kindest, reaching out to us before we arrived, checking on us and if I had any issues I wouldn't have hesitated to contact her, but no need during the trip as it was perfect. Thank you for sharing your wonderful condo with us!

I visit Maui every year with my mom (84yr). This condo was beautiful and the view is amazing…just like the pictures or even better. We spent a lot of time out on the lanai which had loungers along with table & chairs and beautiful ocean view! We usually stay in a resort but this place is where we will stay next time. The staff was great! It was truly like a home away from home. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and everything worked! I loved having a Keurig and coffee pot. We appreciated the beach chairs, umbrellas, & sand toys and games. Julie was very easy to work with and her clear instructions for check out were great. This location was nice being close to restaurants, shopping and the beach. ABC market had fresh fruit & salads everyday. Dining reservations were hard to get with limited capacity & lots of happy people glad to be in Maui. We will stay in this condo next year for sure!

The condo was beautiful and spacious. Everything was exactly as described in the listing and the views from the balcony were better than I could have imagined! The condo is very well set up and stocked with all the little things I needed during my stay - glassware, cooking utensils, grilling tools, and even a blender!
The building overall was very nice with a pool and community outdoor grilling and eating areas. Location was fabulous as you really are just steps from the beach. Whalers Village is also just a few steps away - we loved walking to Joey's Kitchen for lunch and Money Pod for happy hour.

To get straight to the point: I ABSOLUTELY LOVED Julie’s Condo at The Whaler on Kaanapali Beach! 🌺 I would definitely book this unit again (& again)!
- Julie’s communication is great, she’s very responsive; Karen was also available to answer any of my questions pertaining to this unit
*Julie provides you with a thorough and relevant guide when you book a stay at this Unit! It came in handy, especially with the tips on grocery shopping and timing your travels to the Airport
- The unit has EVERYTHING you would need for your stay at the unit as well as for enjoying this side of Maui!
- Very well stocked with dish ware, silverware, kitchen appliances, non-perishable condiments, food storage items, and soooo much more!
- All of the kitchen appliances worked excellently!
- Taking out our garbage/recycling was not so bad as the garbage shoot was just a few doors down
- The A/C works very well!
- Views of the ocean are pretty amazing 🤩 and you’re able to see the mountain side as well
- The lanai in this unit was connected to the living room and bedroom - which I made things even more convenient
- The Whaler Shopping center, and restaurants (such as Leilani’s, MonkeyPod, and Hula Grille) are visible from the unit’s lanai — so if you aren’t able to reserve a table, you can usually peer down and see how long the lines are
The only 2 things that could use improvement were: (1) the TV guides binder, some pamphlets seemed superfluous or no longer pertinent; and this is on the Whaler: (2) the communication of the front desk as to if/when the unit was actually ready for check-in. When we arrived to the unit, I felt that we rushed Karen (the unit’s awesome maid).
Nevertheless, the bellman and/or Karen took great care of our luggage, bags, and even put our perishable groceries away in the fridge. *Took Julie’s advice to go shopping at the nearby Safeway before arriving to the Whaler 😉
Cannot wait to come back to Maui and book Julie’s unit again! ♥️MAHALO♥️

We had an amazing week staying at Julie’s unit 759. It had an amazing view of the ocean and mountains, comfortable bed and furnature snd all you need to enjoy the beach. We cooked most our meals and the kitchen was well stocked with all we needed. The beach umbrellas , chairs , boogie boards and snorkeling gear were really appreciated. Julie was a pleasure to work with making sure we were taken care of.
This was our first trip since Covid and it was perfect - relaxing and safe. The beach is the best there is.

My family and I have been to Maui several times and this has been our favorite condo to stay in. The Whalers is close to all the Kaanapali beach activities and this condo has a terrific view. Especially like the awesome BBQ’s the resort has for the guests to use. Cooked fresh blue marlin, ono and Hawaiian swordfish most nights. Would definitely stay here again.
