We truly enjoyed our stay in Lihue. The view from the room is breathtaking! Beds are very comfortable. The food on the resort was very good. Only downside is you can’t swim in the ocean off of this property and you have to drive or take an uber anywhere you want to go. Not much close. Coconut market was a 10-15 minute drive and there were lots of shops and places to eat.

We had a wonderful time at this beachfront condo in Kauai. The place was super clean and had amazing sunrise view. Waking up to the ocean each morning was a dream. The property itself is beautiful, with friendly staff, on-site restaurants, and even a Starbucks, which was a nice bonus.The location couldn’t have been better, right in the middle of the island, so it was easy to explore both the north and south shores. It really felt like the perfect home base for our trip. Would definitely stay here again!

This room was better than we could have imagined. Perfect for our 10 day stay. Lots of extras included (beach chairs, boogie boards, small cooler, good sized refrigerator). Amazing view and the food and entertainment were top notch. Will stay here again for sure!

This condo was above and beyond our expectations. Spacious, clean, beautiful pool with waterfalls, restaurant with live band every night. But the most amazing part was watching the sunrise every morning and having the ocean steps from our balcony. So glad we chose this rental over those that were not oceanfront - worth every penny!!

Our stay at this oceanfront VRBO in Kauai was absolutely incredible! Waking up to breathtaking sunrises from the balcony each morning was a dream, and we were lucky enough to watch whales jumping just offshore most days. The condo was centrally located within a beautiful resort, making it easy to explore the island while still enjoying top-notch amenities. It was truly the perfect place to relax and take in the natural beauty of Kauai!

We had a really good experience staying at the Outrigger Kauai Resort. The resort had nice pools, hot tubs, restaurants, bars, and a café gift shop. It was also really nice to walk out to the beach to watch sunrises and sunsets. The resort location was close to almost everything we wanted to do. The room was clean and functional with a great view from the lanai.

The resort is very nice and well kept. Great view of the beach from the balcony. The room is small and not as described. It is not a one bedroom but a two bed studio. No microwave. Two beds, it would have been nice to have a queen or king bed instead. Room itself is small and outdated. The resort has a parking lot but charges $32.00 a day, should be free for guests. Beach is not swimmer friendly very rough conditions. Pool better option. Overall had a good time. Host Crystal was very helpful and a pleasure to talk to.

The view was awesome! The resort is beautiful! Centrally located between great beaches and activities. The owner was very easy and accommodating. The unit could use a little TLC especially the mattresses. Other than an uncomfortable night’s sleep it was great!!!

Great pools and gardens. The ocean view is incredible, but keep in mind that you can’t swim on the property beach, waves are too strongs.
I read that this is a former Hilton resort, today the resort needs a little bit more love and maintenance… It is a little bit dated and not as clean as we would expected. This is definitely not a Hilton quality, but still decent for the price.
This specific unit has a gorgeous ocean view, a real full ocean view !!!
Please note that this unit is privately own and is not managed by the resort management directly, except for the check in. The front desk was very clear, almost rude, about the fact that we don’t have the same service has the other guests… and that if we have any problem we need to contact the private owner…. At the end it did not change our stay, but keep in mind that you don’t have any room cleaning, no extra towels and no possibility of changing room if there is a problem with the unit….etc….

We really enjoyed our stay at the Kauai Beach Resort. There were were some pros and cons, but you have to approach any Hawaiian vacation, especially one on Kauai with the viewpoint that you are on a vacation in a tropical location on one of the most isolated islands in the world. Things are slower here, and that’s just how it should be.
Pros: The view from the room is incredible, the resort has plenty of pools, never had to fight to find a chair at the pool, restaurant on resort had great breakfast, resort had live music and fun activities during the day at the pool, nice beach for walking, new linens and pillows, room was quiet at night, majority of guests were very down to earth and fun people!
Cons: Room is dated and has few drawers (basically, it’s a hotel room from the 90’s), some resort maintenance was waiting on parts from mainland (two of the five pools had issues during our stay and were caution taped closed), the tiki torches and outdoor fireplace was only lit one night during our stay due to assumed natural gas problems.
Overall, the pros waaayy overpowered the cons, especially at this price point during peak season.
If you are looking for the best view in Kauai at a reasonable price, stay here!

Amazing view of the ocean with a nice breeze and spectacular sunrises. Only ate at the once in the restaurant (breakfast) which was delicious, regret not having dinner. Staff friendly and helpful. Air conditioning was great, keeping the room nice and cool - just the way I like it. Would rent again if ever here again.

We really enjoyed our time at this property. The grounds were beautiful and the view from the room was amazing. The only downfall was the beds were really small. They were twin beds but they didn't even feel that big. It made it difficult to sleep 4 in the room. I assumed a 2 bed room would be queens as there was plenty of room to do so. Otherwise this was a great property and a great experience.

We had seen comments that the room need updating, and boy were they right. The housekeeping staff did a good job, but the carpet and walls are very worn, dirty, and nicked up. There is dry wall/plaster missing from corners and other places on wall had a lack of repair or messy repair jobs. There are electrical outlets scattered about the room that are hard to get to or where no furniture is to plug in phones, iPads, etc. We had to use luggage as a table, as there is only one nightstand in-between the two beds. The safe was non-functional. When we called the owner, we were told it was on backorder. The bathroom did not have plugs above the counter where you could have charged a phone, they were by the bathroom door. Bathroom had no stopper in the sink. Tile had been replaced, but outdated. Looked like the original bathroom configuration, which was not convenient. Had only lukewarm water for some showers. You do have an ocean view, but with having that, it is a very long walk to the restaurant and bar and parking. We don’t mind that usually, but 5 out of 7 days we had 20-30 mph sustained winds with gusts to 50 and of course, frequent rain. Food was very good, grounds beautiful and kept up nicely. One of the two hot tubs smelled like sewage, so we avoided that. It was way too cool and windy to enjoy the pool until our last day.

This unit has a great ocean view and is located at a wonderful property. There is a daily parking fee at the resort if you are parking a car.
The resort has an amazing pool complex that includes 3 full sized pools (two have waterfalls into them and one is more shallow as it is to play volleyball in), 2 hot tubs (one that has a waterfall into it, and a shallow kids pool with a sandy bottom and sandy beach around it (FYI The sand is pretty course and I found it a little rough on my feet, but not too bad). The ocean is less than 50 yards from the kids pool, but at the time of our stay this was not a good beach for swimming or playing in the water. It was very rocky with rough ocean conditions, but that allowed for surfers and body boarders which we enjoyed watching. The grounds are beautiful and well kept.
The unit has a refrigerator, but no microwave. It states that there is a microwave at another location within the resort, but we did not use it. There is a balcony outside the sliding glass door of this second floor unit. The balcony has 2 chairs and a small table. This unit is only a few steps from the pool area and was very clean. It has a great ocean view where we were able to watch surfers and boogie boarders.
The host couldn’t have been more accommodating. We actually moved from another one of their units into this unit after we had some unexpected troubles that required us to extend our trip. Unfortunately the first unit was already booked directly following our stay. But they were able to rebook us in this unit of theirs following a one night gap where we booked a room directly with the resort. Due to the nature of our unexpected trip extension we did not have a firm time on how much longer we needed to extend our stay. The host worked with us allowing us to have a somewhat open ended departure date. This is not something that we expected nor should anyone expect as this is a business and they have to run it as such. However, the host was extremely kind speaking to me multiple times via telephone throughout our stay to help me navigate this unplanned trip extension. In addition to this my daughter got sick in the night and the host was able to get her cleaning staff to bring us some clean linens and remove our soiled linens. This host went above and beyond my expectations time after time during our stay. I couldn’t recommend nicer people to rent from!

We left something in room when we checked out & Chrystal was so nice to accommodate us to get back in condo. Great experience & will be back. We hope!!

The overall experience of staying at Kauai Beach Resort in this ocean front condo was exceptional. The location of the resort is perfect to get to the south or north shore, the central parts of the island, the airport, and everything you need for your stay. The view from the lanai was unmatched. Morning coffee with a front row view of the sunrise was the icing on the cake. Having resort amenities on the property added an extra bonus we didn’t realize we would enjoy. Book this condo! The amazing oceanfront view from this unit is priceless. If you're looking for a unit with the best beachfront view, this is it. Well kept, brand new furnishings located in a fancy resort with gorgeous amenities. There's nothing better than to wake up first thing in the morning to the spectacular sunrise straight from your bedroom and catch the sunset directly from your lanai. Property Manager Crystal was very attentive to our needs and so efficient in resolving issues. Will definitely book again in the future. Highly recommend.

My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights, and didn’t want to leave. The room was situated looking out on the ocean. We slept every night by the sound of the waves. We were the envy of the resort because we were one of few rooms with a ocean front view.
The staff was very friendly.
The pool was beautiful.
The food at the restaurant was excellent. The live music every night at the bar was fun too.
We haven’t one complaint of this resort room. We will definitely come back here someday! If you’re trying to decide on a place to book, don’t hesitate! Book it now!🌺

The lanai view was everything! Private corner balcony with unobstructed ocean view. Waking up to a beautiful ocean sunrise was a wonderful way to start each day. Room was comfortable enough and having a refrigerator really helped for a week long family vaca.
The pools and water slide were a big hit with the kids, and in easy view for adult supervision. We especially loved the sand bottom splash pool for my youngest. The resort also offered hula and ukelele lessons for free that my fam enjoyed. We also made use of the gym, and every morning the resort offers a 7am yoga session.
Great communication with owner who was prompt with any questions or assistance that was needed. Mid week clean was done by a very sweet and friendly maid, all resort staff gave great service throughout stay! Already have recommended property to 2 others, as they enjoyed our online pics so much!!! Highly recommend this property and owner!!
