The apartment was bigger than expected. Recently updated kitchen was a bonus. The location was great-easy access north or south. The landscaping of the grounds were beautiful. All the amenities needed. Had a great time!

Beautiful condo with updated kitchen, has everything you will need. The beach across the street is family friendly with a protective barrier and full of turtles, itâs so neat. Condo has nice beach chairs, towels, and other things to take with you to the beach. Pool and grounds are very well maintained. Can hear some street noise since you are off a main road, about a mile away from shopping and dining. Window Air conditioners work fine light sleepers=ear plugs, or just use the island breezes.

My wife, the kids and I felt at home in this condo complex. The pool was ideal for when the boys got restless before we got ready to head out for the day. If that didnât we walked to the beach near by. The location was perfect for exploring South beaches, going to Lahaina/Napili and the drive to Hana but still close enough to the airport.

Susan Shore was an excellent host! As you walk in the resort youâre welcomed with vibrant colors of the Hawaiian flowers. The room exceeded our expectations. It was clean, provided house hold items, and beach items. The room is as described and even better, it provided more than advertised. The pool was very clean, the beach is 3 minutes on foot, and is close to nearby stores. Will book again when I come back to Maui!!! Donât hesitate! Kid friendly just stay within house hold rules and respect the environment you guys will have a great time!

This place had everything we needed for our wonderful vacation in Maui. It's newly renovated and very clean. The beach was only a few minutes to walk to and it was full of sea turtles! The location was great and very easy to get to both sides of the island.
We literally had zero issues with our stay. 10/10 and would stay again!

My wife and I stayed for 1 week. After arrival and rental car pickup we grabbed a late lunch and followed the very good directions (also Google is fine) to the condo.
The owner had already given us the key code and the designated parking spot is pretty convenient to the 1st floor condo. The condo has everything you would need for a beach day from beach chairs to towels and the kitchen os fully functional with many appliances hiding in the cabinets. Plenty or blankets, pillows and bath towels as well. We knew there was a washer and dryer so we were able to pack less and plan on doing a load or two (awesome convenience plus). The two AC units work really well but we didn't really need them. I liked having the fan on though for the bedroom as white noise. There is a bit of traffic noise from the main road but not enough to be annoying.
The condo is perfectly located for local Kihei activities and then to go up and out to either side of the island on adventure days.
The owner is very responsive and communicated well with us before and during our trip.

Susan was really great and very responsive! Property is in a great location for easy access around the island, as well as a walk across the street to beaches. Very clean and well stocked - Ice chest, cool bag, umbrella, beach toys for the kids, towels, everything you could need! Very cute remodeled kitchen. It is right off the main street which is loud and busy so if you are a light sleeper like me, bring earplugs. Other than that, it was perfect for me and my two boys. Definitely recommend!

Maui is a beautiful island and we can't wait to come back one day. We had unfortunate weather and a lot of localized flooding the first few days we were there. We were constantly dealing with mud and closed pathways at the resort. Parking was a major issue multiple times we had people in our spots and had to park in guest parking. Management when it was brought to their attention did nothing but post a sign the second time we mentioned it.
The condo is very nicely renovated. It was wonderful having in suite laundry. Lots of extra towels and linens. We were disappointed that there was no table in the condo as the picture showed. We were traveling with a little one so only having bar stools inside was an issue for us. We had read a previous review of ants in the kitchen. They were still there. We bought ziploc bags to store items to keep them out. They just seemed to be on the kitchen counter no where else. To be expected being in a tropical destination.
The overall road noise is loud unless you have an ac or fans running. It is one unit off of the main artery. The positive is you are close to the beach. It is a hike to get to the main Kihei core we ended up always having to drive due to the mud and distance with an infant.

Overall this was a great last-minute stay for almost a week! Price was ok considering time of year and the condo was set up perfectly: Air conditioning was a huge plus for us (and the number 2 reason we chose this condo), and she provided a boogey board, cooler, umbrella, awesome chairs - this made our stay awesome. It's a very nice place with a full kitchen setup, good appliances, etc. She's done a really nice job.
Only 2 downsides, neither of them in control of the host(ess). The location didn't allow for easy beach access to watch a sunset (not the end of the world), but the BIG ONE: The pool/hot tub closes at 6pm?!?! What the hell? This changed our entire stay, as a pool soak and hot tub at the end of the day was something we always look forward to and is a big part of the trip. We only used it once even though it was one of the reasons we chose this condo. The paperwork says it closes at 9pm, but the sign says 6pm and CHAINED at that time. That's a deal breaker for us given the money spent. We're not ready for old-folks-home hours.
Otherwise this was a great place to stay with a great location (close to highway, out of "downtown" traffic of Kihei). [Note: For those not familiar with the area, there isn't really anything "walkable" (i.e. grocery store, food, etc). Unless you like a pretty long walk.]

Overall the property was just what we expected with a slight surprise to a recent kitchen reno! The location was great, nice and close to a local beach and restaurants. Easy access to grocery stores once you got your bearings.
Entry and exit to the parking lot can be difficult when driving due to traffic but we managed around the increase from the construction detour just fine.

As soon as we walked in, we felt at home. This property was in an ideal location for us. We could get to most places without a long drive. Since Hawaii has moved to mineral sunscreen only, we appreciated the host leaving some for our use. We felt the size of the place was ideal, and very comfortable. It had recently been remodeled, and was just lovely. Everything was clean, and it was nice having access to a washer and dryer. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

Very well-appointed property and responsive owner... saved us money/ effort because beach chairs, beach towels, coolers were provided (beach toys, snorkels, boogie boards as well that we didn't use). Kitchen was well-appointed to eat-in. New appliances.
Fabulous location. 5-minute walk to the beach... where sea turtles were sunning on the beach in low tide! Centrally-located on the island, so convenient drives to check out all different parts of Maui and do excursions.

The check-in and check-out process was simple and easy to follow. The place was clean and very accommodating. I'd recommend using this location for family and/or friends.
If I had to pick any complaint, it would only be that the entrance to the parking lot / location is kinda tucked away. I passed right by it the first time without realizing it.

The location of the property is a walking distance to a beach park. Itâs very convenient that thereâs beach chairs, beach umbrella, and cooler available for use. Property is clean and complete with kitchen amenities for cooking. Me and the kids enjoyed walking around the complex where thereâs plenty of tropical trees and plants.
Overall, i do recommend this property; it made our vacation in Maui memorable for us and the kids.

This place was even better than expected. Itâs bigger than it looked in the pictures, perfectly comfortable for two people and you could easily have a few more either on the pullout couch or an air mattress. Feels very secluded on the lanai but is very central, you can walk to the beach (across the street). Great airflow with the windows open and the AC worked really well in the bedroom. Would definitely recommend renting a car to drive to restaurants and shops as itâs not in the most âtouristyâ area. Parking was super simple.

Our family of 4 ( 2 adults and 2 teens) stayed for 6 nights. We really couldn't ask for more. 1st ! the communication with Susan was superb! She was prompt to response and easy to communicate with, was accommodating and inquiring every step of our stay to ensure we are all comfortable and have all we need. The resort property is well maintained, grounds are clean and beautiful. Kids enjoyed the pool! We did not use the grill. The apartment was as described and MORE. Very clean, and had everything we needed. Fresh sheets provided for the pull out sofa for the boys and plenty of pillows, bath and kitchen towels. We enjoyed peaceful breakfasts at the lanai and are soooo grateful for the washer and dryer !! Beach chairs, towels , toys, snorkeling gear, coolers, everything you need really .. we carried them everywhere! So convenient. Short stroll to the beautiful turtle filled beach, and 5- 10 min ride to restaurants, supermarket and food truck park. Location was ideal for us as we explored the island mostly. Kihei road can be noisy .. we had all the windows open at all times and didn't use the air conditioner or the fans as mother nature blessed us with wonderful breeze, but if you closed the windows and have the air on, should be ok. It didn't bother us.. we were out cold from exploring :0)

Susan is the absolute best!!!!! I was on Maui for my sisters 50th birthday and Susan surprised not only me but my sister with some wonderful little gifts! She took customer service to a whole different dimension!
The communication and process of getting settled was wonderfully done. She made sure I had everything I needed and is truly a pleasure to talk to! I got lucky and was 30 minutes early and we were able to "talk story" for bit.
The property is beautiful. I was traveling alone and the size of the place was perfect. I made breakfast every morning and the kitchen had everything I needed.
The inside is modern and gorgeous! I was there at the end of March and was able to keep the windows open to enjoy the breeze and fresh air.
I enjoyed the "little" things that are there for guests : small and large coolers, boogie board, beach chairs, etc.. It's nice you don't have to buy or rent these items.
I highly recommend this as a place to stay!!!!

This is the second time weâve stayed at this property, but first time in this unit. We do love it here. The proximity to the beach, pool, jacuzzi, and BBQs are all wondering to have. This unit is fully equipped with kitchen and beach gear should you like to cook or head to any of the nearby beaches for a snorkel or just a relaxing day on the beach. We will be back!

We needed to be on island with relatively short notice and at a very busy time, so there wasnât much that was a decent price and available. This was and while itâs not my preferred part of Kihei, it was the best choice.
We really enjoyed the following aspects of it: well stocked beach equipment, hard floors throughout, good water pressure in the shower, great windows for a breeze, thoughtful touches like soft throw blankets for breezy mornings on the lanai or in the living room. Also, easy check in with keyless entry.
The thing we didnât like was the road noise in the bedroom. If we had used the air conditioning we probably wouldnât have noticed it so much, but with windows open the traffic noise was very noticeable especially in the morning. We remedied it by running a standing fan to create white noise.

Condo has everything that you need while in Maui. Location is great but you can hear the vehicle passing by on South Khiei Rd as condo is immediately next to the Rd. This could bother you early morning predawn hours and late night hours. But overall itâs good value for money.

The place is super clean with sort of a bamboo Japanese vibe and it has everything you need.
It is located in such a perfect area to view the Sunset on a gorgeous beach right across the street (1 min walk)
And thereâs restaurants/grocery stores 5 min drive away.
Coconuts has the best fish taco ever and itâs right there.
Kihei is hands down our favorite part of the island (has all the best beaches) and this place will definitely be our go to if itâs available next time we visit.
