A beautifully decorated condo at the Kiahunna. We’ve stayed in other condos here and this one is our favorite. The beachy decor was perfect! Thank you for sharing your piece of paradise.

Beautiful updated condo super close to the beach! We stayed for 7 nights and drank our coffee on the beach every morning. You can hear the waves as you drift off to sleep at night. We had a lovely stay here and can’t wait to come back!

Excellent grounds. There is NOT a partial ocean view but we can hear the waves. It’s a 70 second walk to the beach. We met a lot of nice people. Plenty of repeat visitors.

There's no way to go wrong with a Kiahuna stay and this unit is no exception. Our plane was late so we arrived after the check in desk closed. The owner responded to my text immediately and we figured out how to get the keys, all stress free and easy. Especially nice after a long day of wonky travel. The unit has been upgraded so there's a fresh vibe and good looking furniture..very welcoming. We loved this unit and Kiahuna and can't wait to be back in this slice of paradise.

This location (while no view of the ocean) is just steps away. Bed was comfortable. TP and Paper towels, soaps and shampoo provided. You will need to supply your own coffee, condiments for cooking.

We have stayed there several years before and enjoyed our stay just as much this time. Should we go again in the future we would request unit 176. Very clean and adequate for our needs and a beautiful location. Thanks Dominique.

We visited in September 2022 to celebrate our 10 year anniversary, along with our two kids, age 5 and 7. It was such a lovely time!! The kids enjoyed the big grass area outside of the patio and the easy, short walk to the sand. The unit was clean and serene, and the kids slept well on the sleeper sofa. Barbecuing at sunset was so heavenly!! We cannot wait to come back!!

The unit is a great updated unit. So close to the beach and the grass. Great for kids! The unit does need some minor maintenance - the phone does not work well, screens and shutters get stuck, one burner on stove doesn’t work. But not show stoppers. Would rent this unit again.

Great stay. The ground floor location with walk straight out into the grass leading to the beach is unbeatable. Access to the athletic club is fantastic. Our kids loved the pool, basketball courts and pickleball. We loved having access to the gym there. It would have been good to have had some pantry essentials in the kitchen (olive oil, spices, etc).

The condo was very cute. Nicely remodeled. And the location was amazing. Negatives for us on the trip- no sand toys or boards for kids in the room. Most other condos on kiahuna had that. The master matress was so HARD. It was so hard my husband and I shoulders or hips world go numb. Also, no simple condiments you usually expect with condos. No salt, peper, spices or oils. All in all I would come back for the location, beautiful place. And perfect location

The location was next to the parking and was louder than expected.

Wonderful unit and location!!! Staying on the ground level and on the great lawn was a good decision. We rented three units next to each other to be together, but still have our own space. Beautiful decor and fully equipped with all you need. So close to the ocean and the pool. Will definitely return!!!

Room was good. Blender was broken and was t replaced by office when office said they would. People upstairs were very loud. Location was great. Super close access to beach. Inflatable mattress was really a nice extra.

We visited #176 in March 2022. We were originally scheduled to visit in October but my husband got Covid two days before we were scheduled to leave. I contacted the property owner who said we could re-book or get a full refund. We know how generous this was of her and appreciate her flexibility. When the two of us return we will rent this unit again. This is our fourth visit to Kiahuna Plantation and third unit we have stayed in. The grounds are immaculate, the location is right on the beach, pool is across the street but we do not mind as would never want them to get rid of the great lawn. The restaurant on the property closed during Covid. The laundry facilities take credit cards now, great not to have to bring quarters. In the laundry room there are books to borrow. The condo is situated perfectly at the complex. If you are standing on the left side of the lanai you can see the ocean. If you walk out five steps onto the great lawn you can see it perfectly. While sitting on the lanai you can hear the waves, and that was what I was wanting. Although it is next to the parking lot we were rarely bothered by the noise. The sprinklers did wake me up once, they can be loud when they first come on. The people above us were very loud, they must have been walking with cement shoes! I do not think this is a condo issue, more of a people issue. I have stayed in other units here and never heard the people above us. The kitchen had all we needed. Small appliances included were a blender, coffee pot and toaster. I had a small freak out moment when I could not find the wine opener but... I eventually did! In prior years other renters would leave behind items (salt, pepper, spices, sandwich bags, aluminum foil etc..) but due to Covid (I am assuming) this is no longer. We gave our items away to neighbors when we left. The only items in the unit for the beach were two beach umbrellas and a beach mat. We wanted to buy chairs at Costco but they did not have any. You can get chairs (and towels) for the beach at the hut or use the chaise loungers on the great lawn. We spent eight nights here and realize it is just not enough time! Already planning our next trip in summer 2023 with the kids for at least 13 nights! I did not take photos of the condo as those on the website are accurate.

This is where you should stay on Kauai! I obsessed about where to stay on our island… I swear I read every article online! I would not change a thing about choosing this location! Kiahuna Plantation has a beautiful beach in front, it’s very clean, beautifully maintained gardens/landscaping, and it’s withi. Walking distance to shops and some of the best restaurants in the island! You can get to the north side of the island in 1 hour and Lihue (airport) in 20 min. The condo was well appointed and the bed/pillows were super comfortable!

We have always loved our stays at the Kiahuna Plantation. This unit is very convenient to the beach, parking, and good places to walk and enjoy the view. The unit itself is fine, with a few caveats * It is close to parking so it was very noisy with car traffic * It is a floor unit and there appears to be no insulation between floors. People walking around upstairs were unusually loud. * The sofa bed is very uncomfortable to sleep on. * This unit does not have a partial ocean view unless you stand In one corner of the lanai on your tip toes and are 6 ft tall. * As this is a Vrbo unit, there is no housekeeping support. We were here for 19 days and were told when we got here that we had to pay $60 for one set of clean sheets and towels which was dropped off at our door halfway thru our stay. We had a nice time staying here. Just a little noisy, but if you spend most of your time at the beach it’s only an issue at night and in the morning.

A great way to start the new year! The property is well located within walking distance to many restaurants and shopping areas. Great views of the ocean and spectacular sunsets. This was our second time to this property and highly recommend it to anyone who would like to get away from the stresses of world in which we currently live.

The property pretty much was as advertised. It was listed and priced as ocean view. That's debatable. The actual view is of grass and palm trees....the ocean is to the right of the property following a cement path to the ocean. Having been coming to the Kiahuna for over 40 years, we expected this to be the case since we are familiar with the layout of the buildings.

Everything you need and close to a great beach for surfing and snorkeling. My only issue is theTV is so confusing but we weren’t there to watch tv anyway.

Love this part of Kauai and the condo on the Kiahuna Plantation was a great place to rest and recuperate from the craziness of the last 18 months. Looking forward to being there again in January.

Note: Vacancy calendar is approximate. Visit the owner/manager's reservation site to verify your dates.
