We stayed at Michael's condo for a week while I attended a conference nearby. The condo is adorable, very clean, and the views are incredible! The place is walking distance to hotels, bars and restaurants as well. We slept well in the comfy bed too! Michael was very responsive, and made our check in process seamless. We would definitely stay there again!

We had an awesome stay at this oceanfront villa. Clean, comfortable, and close proximity to beaches and eats makes this the perfect hideway. The sunrises and sunsets from the lanai were breathtaking while the ocean breezes and waves calmed and refreshed the soul!

We had a most wonderful stay in our unit. Everything was just as described without any surprises or disappointments. The view of the ocean is spectacular. The unit is centrally located, yet has a feeling of privacy. It is close to the beach access walkway, main office, laundry facilities, and the beach towel/activities hut. Michael, as mentioned in numerous reviews, is a great communicator and most helpful. He responds immediately to any requests or inquiries. We highly anticipate a future stay in this lovely unit.

This is our 2nd time staying at this property and we will definitely be back! We have stayed at several places in Kauai and this one is definitely our favorite. The view from the lanai is so peaceful - great place to watch the sunset and perfect to wake up to! The unit has everything we need, the bed is very comfortable, and the owner is great with communication. The resort is clean and the grounds are beautiful without being to “touristy “. Can’t wait to return!

Location, location, location. Clean & fresh paint. Nice grounds & beach & plenty of options for eating within walking distance. No AC and a few minor maintenance issues. We did have an issue with cockroaches but didn’t report to front desk.

Kiahuna Plantation is a beautiful setting and is perfect for ocean view….sunsets….and kicking back on the lanai. The condo is nicely furnished and the kitchen has everything you need. We would definitely return!

We had a wonderful stay here. It was fun interacting with Michael as we set things up, everyone we dealt with was super helpful.
The view, holy moly, the view is NOT exaggerated it is truly breathtaking. Highly recommend eating on the lanai and watching the sunset, or the sky and sea change as the sun rises or the moon on the water. Just glorious.
Great location and super easy to get to Poipu beach, shops and restaurants and food trucks.
We had a fantastic stay and it was hard to leave. We will be back when we can❤️

This was our fourth visit to Kiahuna Plantation. Previously our family of 4 went so we had a 2 bedroom, 2 story unit. This trip it was just my husband and myself. The unit itself was great...clean, just as described and you can't beat the view. The only downside is that it was quite noisey...loud neighbors below us with young children having tantrums, gardeners come early in the morning and most people let their front door slam. Otherwise the unit was just as described as we loved being so close to the water and gazing out the sliding door at the waves. We've already booked a trip in the 2 bedroom unit next door four our family of 4 for next summer!

The condo was exactly as described. The only thing that would have been nicer is if the trees that block your view when sitting on the outside deck had been trimmed down a bit. Either that or have bar height sitting. The location was fantastic just wished we could sit and enjoy the view easier.

Good vacation home. Super close (walk from paved trail ) to the kids friendly Poipu beach and right in front of the Kiahuna beach for surfing. The whole family are very happy and spent very afternoon in the water. The view is impeccable from the private balcony. However, because the grass area and the beach are so beautiful, there are many party and gathering taking place here. It could get a little noisy at times but everyone is mindful and usually stops the noise around 9 pm. The room is very clean but things are slightly wear out. Everything is still functional, so it’s ok. The host is very friendly and check in and out is very convenient with the castle resort front desk. Daily beach towel service is also in clouded. All in all, very recommended. We would like to come back in the future.

We have stayed at the Kiahuna several other times and this unit is by far our favorite. The view is outstanding… no other buildings blocking the ocean. Being upstairs lets you leave the windows open for that wonderful ocean breeze night and day. Having the private staircase is a bonus too. The bed is very comfortable, the kitchen well stocked, and the owner responds quickly to questions. We will definitely return!

The reservation process was easy and communication was sufficient. The location was beautiful and we enjoyed morning coffee and sunset drinks watching the waves and swaying palms. This was a great location with everything needed nearby; from shopping for gifts, food, or necessary items, snorkeling, surfing, and great restaurants (be sure to make reservations), this has it all. A couple of things to be mindful of.... The units are open air, and the wind howls through at times. We also had a family with small children below us that tended to be noisy, then they hosted several multi-family gatherings on their lanai. We likely would have chosen an adult only area. The other thing is this is a commercial property, not a private rental; think hotel with a kitchen. It would have been nice to have basic necessities in the kitchen. In other rentals we've stayed, there was coffee, sugar, flour, baggies, foil, etc. - things left behind by previous renters for your use. Then you give and take too. Storage containers for food prep or leftovers, a cooler to take to the beach would be good additions. This felt like the cleanup crew probably helps themselves to anything left, and the rest gets tossed. Just a thought, not a negative. With Covid, for our mid stay clean, we were dropped a large bag of clean towels and sheets; nice, but I'm not changing sheets. Overall a glorious honeymoon spot.

Its the perfect location on the sunny shores of Poipu for families. Large lawn, beautiful swimming and beginner surf beach, and community BBQ's make for an outstanding family holiday! Michael is a an excellent host as he is very responsive and friendly!

Probably not a better view on the property. The condo is perfect for a couple wanting to relax and enjoy the beach and common areas. Owner is incredibly responsive to anything you might need. Great amenities with the property. Definitely coming back!

It is wonderful to be on the green lawn and so close to the water. Steps to the condo for anything you need plus the sound of waves at night. While we were there the building was power washed, landscaping well taken care of, linens delivered and questions answered by reception. I would urge Michael the owner to invest in this wonderful property. The condo is a bit tired and at times there is a faint musty smell from furniture and I believe the rug in the living room. Now with wonderful indoor outdoor fabrics and area rugs, it would be a good investment and a huge improvement. The bathroom shower area is fine but vanity area needs some work. I realize this has been a difficult COVID year, but in the future would love to see some updates to want me to stay here again. Communication was excellent with the Michael who went as far as giving restaurant recommendations from friends. Our first experience here and Kiahuna Plantation on the lawn is the way to go. Our favorite restaurant was hands down Merrimans. Fabulous food and service in a delightful setting. Stevensons’ Sushi at the Grand Hyatt was very good. Our ten day stay went so quickly with so much to do and see. A cocktail dinner cruise with Captain Andy’s charters was spectacular and I highly recommend them. We will return to this beautiful island.

Absolutely stunning views. Great unit in quiet building. The unit is not updated and doesn't have a washer/dryer, but I didn't even care as the view is worth not having an updated kitchen, decor etc.....Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will be back.
