My girlfriend and I were pleasantly surprised when we walked into her adorable studio. My girlfriend was a bit concerned that it would be too small, but it was prefect. The studio had very nice decor, a nice clean bathroom, a small fridge, and microwave. That was all we needed.
It was located at the very end of the complex which kept things quiet. We got it for a great price. We would recommend this place to anybody. Enjoy!

We had the best time in Kihei, and this apartment was no exception. Absolutely amazing location and amenities - the apartment had everything we needed (beach towels, beach chairs, beach umbrella, cooler bag and icepacks, etc). And the kitchenette system was perfect - a fridge for leftovers and drinks, a microwave to heat them up and paper plates utensils condiments to top it off. Plus, I loved the little leftover pile of lotions, sunscreen and other products by other guests. You feel the love! Jennifer was also a great host. We would absolutely stay here again. For those who are worried about the cigarette smoke mentioned by others, it is very faint and Jennifer already has an air purifier and an air freshener set up to help. I am pretty sensitive to smoke but it didn't bother me much and my nose would forget about it very quickly. I would just get a faint whiff when coming home and it was more in the bathroom, which I did not spend that much time in. Don't let it deter you! Just book this place!

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay at Jennifer’s property. This studio is the perfect space for a couple traveling together. The location is very ideal—close to beaches, parks, and lots of food options. Having South Maui Gardens next door was a huge plus! Jennifer provided beach gear such as chairs, towels, an umbrella, and even sunscreen, which was very helpful and considerate. She even dropped by to give us some delicious coffee for our stay! The one thing we didn’t particularly like about the property was the cigarette smoke that came through the bathroom vent. It was hard to get the smell to go away and being people with allergies, it was hard to ignore. Overall, the place was great and Jennifer was very accommodating and nice. She even let us check out late. We would love to stay again!

My stay started great, Jennifer reached out to welcome us via text and getting in was no problem. Unfortunately, upon walking into the property, there was a very strong smell of plug in wall freshener to the extent that I had to unplug it because it was giving me a headache. Later in the day, I realized why it was there. The room and bathroom absolutely reeked of cigarette smoke. I reached out to the host and she explained that there was a smoke area underneath and that we could check out and receive a refund. I saw the smoking area and it was a considerable distance away from the room, I’m guessing the culprit was a neighbor smoking and that smoke was absolutely flooding into the room. As it was early January, there was not a chance to find somewhere to stay the day of. The smell of stale cigarettes was very overwhelming, even with the air purifier running. The accommodation itself was sanitary and clean but as someone who is just sensitive to odors, I wish there was a disclaimer on the listing.

Host was very communicative and helpful. Gave us heads up on activities around the area. Apartment is near many food trucks and other dining options - all walkable. Plus it has a TV to netflix and chill. Easy and convenient parking too. The room was clean and tidy. Has many beach towels, an umbrella stand, and beach chairs. Great stay!!!

We really enjoyed our stay in this apartment. Despite not having a kitchen area, it was very well-equipped and functional. We had access to utensils, plates, ice packs in the fridge we borrowed for day trips, board games and even beach chairs! Jennifer was furthermore very responsive and amenable. She helped us navigate disruptions due to construction during our stay, was ready to provide anything we needed, gave us awesome recommendations for what to do in the area and even offered us some delicious pineapple wine. The location was the cherry on top. South Maui Gardens is such a gem, and we were close to so many beaches. The parking was also very convenient.

This place is located next to the South Maui Gardens (a super zen and cool area with lots of eating options). It was a very convenient location. Parking was easy. The bed was comfortable. There is a small a/c unit to help cool off when it's super hot. There was a faint smoking smell coming from the adjacent unit. There's an air purifier that helps with this. It was convenient having a cabinet full of toiletries, sunscreen, aloe, etc. to use. There's a closet full of beach gear to use including a beach umbrella, chairs, pool noodles, cooler bag, etc. The place is small, but had everything we needed and was exactly as listed/described.

I gave all 5 stars except for the overall rating only for one reason. Everything was perfect. Jennifer delivered everything as she said it would be. I enjoyed the entire stay. If I could have changed one thing it would be this: I could smell cigarette smoke. I'm pretty sure the whole building is smoke free so my guess is that the person next door to me violated that. Also, I could easily smell when that same person microwaved popcorn every other night. That might not bother most people but it did bother me. Other than those issues, I had a wonderful experience.

Our host Jennifer went above and beyond to make our stay was as comfortable as possible. She had everything we needed for our stay and was super friendly and flexible. Everything was laid out exactly as pictured and was spotless. Jennifer you’re amazing! 🙂
Side note: there is a neighbor that smoked often during our stay, but Jennifer provided us with a air purifier and febreeze to deter the smell. We were always out, so this didn’t affect my partner and I as much.

Small unit but worked great for our travels since we were mostly out all day and needed a nice comfortable room to sleep in. Communication with owner was quick and prompt. It was really helpful that there were amenities like the mini fridge and microwave as well as extra things to utilize for the beach. Parking was super convenient which is a really nice plus. The area around is also convenient to walk through and full of shops, local grocery store, and restaurants/bars.

Place is fairly small and not much in the way of a kitchen. Coffee maker was a pod maker so we were not able to use our ground coffee, but the host provided enough coffee pods for our stay which was nice. There was no kettle or toaster, but we asked and the host drop off a toaster for us.
It was a good location though for us to branch out on our drives around Maui. All in all worth the price

Thank you so much Jennifer we loved our stay! Perfect location near the beach, shops, food. Free parking and also she provides beach chairs, umbrellas, towels which was very convenient. We actually left a couple boogie boards and a basketball for those who go next so enjoy :) it’s small, but if you’re just looking for a place to sleep and be comfortable it’s great. Shower is super big and nice. My only thing (it didn’t bother me or my partner and it’s not Jennifer’s fault it’s just being in Maui - there are super tiny little bugs that sometimes were on the bathroom sink) again didn’t bother us but if you hate bugs I would probably do a hotel. Also she provides coffee machine and pods! Lovely stay, thanks so much!

Stayed for a week and the location is amazing, so many shops and places to eat at near by. There’s a food truck park very close that we visited a few times. Also less than 5 minute walk to the beach. Overall we were very happy with our stay.

We will absolutely be coming back here. We stayed for 5 days for a wedding in december and had an amazing trip. The room is small but full of everything you need plus extras we werent expecting which were very convenient and saved us from having to purchase them elsewhere (which we had planned to already). A great room for a single person or a couple who want to be close to dining, the beach, shopping, groceries, and basically whatever you need.

This property was perfect for our needs. Lots of eating options walking distance away. Right next door there is a place called south kihei gardens with plenty of food trucks and live music. The room was clean cozy and had a very nice shower. The host provided beach chairs towels and a portable ice chest.plus if you forgot anything theres a cabinet in the bathroom stocked with shampoos and stuff. Beach is right across the street too. Host was great about answering any questions through text or call.

Location is perfect for two adults that plan on actively traveling around the island. Its centrally located so that south Maui, west Maui, and Hana are all modest travel times. If you wont be spending all day at the condo, this place is perfect to come back to and lay your head down. The host has thought of everything and provides beach chairs and an umbrella. The location in south Kihei has lots of great food options. I dont regret booking this property at all.

She was very kind and understanding while going through a difficult time and actually let us know before we left our place that the wildfires getting out of hand. This studio is perfect for a couple that intends to actively enjoy and explore the island and needs a place to rest comfortably. It is clean, and it includes everything needed for down time, such as a cozy bed with extra sheets, a bathroom with plenty of towels for the shower and beach, a spacious closet, television with streaming apps, a small fridge, microwave, Wi-Fi, Keurig, etc. I also appreciated the provided parking and the quiet atmosphere, which was surprising since it’s located in the center of a popular location, Kihei. The host, Jennifer, is very friendly and responsive. When we plan our next visit to Maui, we are planning to reach out to Jennifer to book her studio again!

This location served its purpose. It is on the 4th floor, opposite side of the elevators. It overlooked beautiful greenery and a short distance to 3 beaches. It sat across a park and right next to multiple food trucks. The unit had the essentials and a shower big enough for 2. It came with beach gear and space for your luggage and clothes. The stairs to the room helped us avoid vacation weight gain. Jennifer was a great host, very informative. We would absolutely stay here again if we visit that side of the island.

Jennifer’s property was amazing and conveniently located! Walking distance from a lovely beach park, many restaurants and shops, and also a short walk away from Charley Young beach. She was a great host and was very accommodating. The room is perfect for a couple who doesn’t plan on cooking & who doesn’t mind sharing close quarters :) My boyfriend and I loved it and would definitely come back and stay again!

Jennifer was great but the property would have a strong cigarette smell when we come back at night. Might be coming from the next door unit or the bathroom vents.
The unit has a small air purifier placed next to the bed to counteract this but it didn't really do anything.
There was no body wash in the unit but we brought our own anyways.
No signs of any bugs.
The AC filter and the fan filter definitely needs to be cleaned though, they were caked in dust..
Overall a decent budget stay.

We just spent almost 2 weeks in this Unit & it couldn't have been more perfect. This Unit has a small fridge, microwave, coffee, TV, room air conditioner, stocked restroom with great water pressure in the shower, big closet and some misc amenities for the beach. The tropical themed bed was really comfortable, the room was in a quiet location with the most beautiful view over a nursery and the location was right in the heart of Kihei where restaurants, shopping, walking trails, beaches, parks & sports are within steps from the door. The Host contacted us to make sure we had everything we needed & let us know she was always available. She has really thought of her guests, The room has books & local magazines for sightseeing. This room is perfect for a couple or solo travelers who will be on the go---& this is the perfect location to go either direction! We really had a terrific time & will book this Unit again when we return!

I had the best time at this stay! The apartment was perfect for me and a partner- there's food everywhere around, and the beach is just a walk across the street. Also the host was one of the most genuinely kind people I have ever spoken to and was super helpful and accommodating. I would 100% stay here again.

This is a good place to stay if you plan on spending most of your time out. The room is small and there isn't much space for lounging around, but it is clean and has a decent bed. The location is great with a park and beach across the street, and dining/shops are a short walk away. The price is a bargain for Maui so take the money you save on the room and spend it on enjoying the island.

Jennifer was LOVELY, super communicative and kind. She allowed us to check out an hour late as well. The apt came with beach chairs, an umbrella, a few cooler bags. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning was a treat as it’s not always common on Maui. the one tiny downside was there were a lot of tiny ants in the bathroom near the sink, but I do think that comes with the territory of being so close to the ocean.

This place is perfect for 2 if you don’t need a really fancy place to stay. If you’re looking just for a place to lay your head, it’s a great fit. It’s close to a lot of great places to explore, the beach and restaurants. The only thing is listed as non smoker but the vent in the bathroom seems like it’s sharing with the other room. You can smell the smoke from the vent and it’s really strong.
Otherwise I would recommend it for a great location.

From the moment we walked in we were impressed by not only the cleanliness but the coordinated colors of art, bedspread, towels, sheets and even beach towels and beach chairs. The extras, water, books, extra towels and sheets, sunscreen, and bathroom extras , not only saved us money (on a budget)but saved us gas,$$$ not shopping. We plan to return in 6 months and I know I will contact Jennifer who was helpful ,gracious and gave us her number if there were any problems .5 stars for all, and also the cleanliness of walkways, parking lot and as 2 women we felt very safe.

Every time I had a question or need she was quick to answer. I left something there and she went out of her way to go to the Post Office to return it to me!

We stayed for 5 nights or so and it was really all we needed. The location is pretty freaking good, walking distance from food and fun. The owner left such useful amenities like beach chairs, plenty of sunblock, and aloe vera. There’s an AC unit in the room that keeps it nicely cool. The room is small, it feels like a master bedroom in a sense. We knew that going in and it worked for us but if you’re wanting a lot of space this will disappoint. Overall pleased with our stay and would definitely recommend.

Jennifer is a great host, she has a great room it's clean, it's nice it's in a prime location it's honestly everything a person could want from a property when visiting Hawaii, BUT the first night we saw a small roach in the bathroom and we thought no big deal, it's a straggler that got in the room (trying to be optimistic here). The second night we came in the room after a GREAT day and we saw another small roach in the bathroom scatter on the sink when the light came on. Then the third night we came back to the property and saw one of the biggest roaches I have ever seen crawling on the coffee maker in the bathroom, along with 2 other smaller roaches I tried to smash the big one with my shoe and it ran into a crevice that I couldn't reach. I called Jennifer and told her that this might be a problem and Jennifer informed me that she has never heard of this being an issue and she offered me a can of raid. She promptly brought an almost empty can of raid and pretty much a good luck. In my opinion that isn't enough as it's pretty much saying hey just kill em when you see them and that is simply a bandaid not fix at all. At this point my gf wants to leave, she can't sleep she's freaking out because she's worried about roaches and we have seen enough of them in succession to know that they definitely do have a presence in the unit. And I do believe that Jennifer may not have known there were roaches in the unit but that doesn't change the fact that there are roaches and we paid almost 900 dollars to rent this unit, and honestly a can of raid is an unprofessional way to handle that. I don't know any person that would be satisfied with that response. Again I think Jennifer is a great warm woman but the roaches tainted this property for me. I hope this gets resolved but at this time I would recommend not staying here as we had to cut our time short with no real help from Jennifer nor were we offered a refund for the days we didn't stay when we left BECAUSE of the roaches.

The condo unit is on the fourth floor at the corner, so it's nice and quiet. The bed was super comfortable and the bathroom was spacious and new. The unit is small without a kitchenette, but fine for a couple and there's a grill by the pool that's rarely used. Plus there are so many delicious dining options within walking distance. The location is the best part - right across from a park by the ocean, a few steps farther to a small beach, across the street from a great surfing school. There's even a great massage place right downstairs. Kameole I, the next beach south, is big and lovely with no rocks. It's walkable but there's also parking. BTW we recommend Maluaka Beach farther south for snorkeling and swimming with the sea turtles (no touching!). One of the best things about Jennifer's place is Jennifer. She was immediately available to solve any problems and give great advice. The AC unit kept shutting off but it was a simple fix and we didn't have to wait. Just FYI if the weather is hot the AC unit can take a while to cool the place down, but it does! Jennifer's warmth and concern without being intrusive were a perfect example of Aloha. And she seemed to think of everything we might need - lots of towels, beach chairs, guide books, even aloe vera for those who missed a spot with their sunscreen! We will definitely be back :) :)
