I was so pleased with this stay! Dorothy could not have been more accommodating and kind with response to my frequent questions. this was my boyfriend's and my 2nd time to Molokai, but the first time on the West end of the island. It was amazing!! Beautiful beaches, one was basically just us for 2 hours near the end of the day. The surf and waves were strong but we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves just chasing the waves. We were fortunate enough to see a picture-perfect sunset the very first night. There were clouds right at the horizon line, but the weather was perfect :) We are definitely talking about coming back to this side with family. I wish there were restaurants on this side of the island.. but not an issue with the resort or condo. The only thing I can think to say that is not 100% positive, is my let down that there was no hot tub. The photos for the resort and my search filter had hot tub as one amenity I was seeking. There was no hot tub on this resort's property. The size of the unit, location, decor and supplies offered were the best and left us with no complaints!! Mahalo Dorothy, will be in touch!!

Loved our first stay on Molokai, totally different than all the other islands. The unit was great, the view is amazing, hear the waves crashing. Pool area was nice also, very quiet and the bbq areas worked well. Unfortunate for the remaining buildings of the old resort, hopefully some day they will get those torn down or rebuilt.

We fell in I love with Molokai although it wouldn’t be for everyone. The condo was perfect for us. Very well appointed and had everything you could need. Extremely comfortable and so well situated to hear the pounding surf and magnificent sunsets from the lanai. Mick and Dorothy were perfect hosts. They happen to be on property and we had a bit of trouble figuring out some things and they came right over and were very helpful.
If what you are looking for is quiet, undeveloped natural settings and a funky town in a laid back atmosphere Molokai is it! The condo was perfection ,well situated and user friendly. Already looking forward to our return. Mick and Dorothy are fabulous hosts. Mahalo and Aloha Danit and Rodger.

This is a wonderful condo. The view from the lanai is spectacular. It is a few steps from an uncrowded beach and a few steps from a delightful pool. The bed is comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped, the shower is spacious. Who could ask for more! It is a 5+. Consider yourself lucky if you are able to stay here.

We are hooked and coming back!!! Best location ever on Molokai. Steps to the sand and steps to the pool that’s overlooking the ocean. Most of the time we were the only ones there. Dream vacation! Most dreamy spot ever. We could lay in bed watching the waves in the ocean. The place is stoked with everything we needed, the boogie boards and cooler were much appreciated too. We spent majority of our time on the outside lanai playing cards and enjoying all of our meals. The stars at night were incredible. The big shower was great with strong water pressure and lots of hot water. Having the BBQ grills was such a nice touch as well. All of the grounds keepers and security guards were very welcoming and friendly, we felt so safe here. Dorthoty was so simple to communicate with and gave us many great suggestions before leaving on our flight. We never even spoke once during our stay cause the welcome letter told us all we needed to know and everything was so smooth. We are so grateful for the amazing place and can’t wait to come back. I have stayed in numerous units at Kepuhi Beach, and I can't wait to return to this one, my favorite of them all. First, the view is unbeatable with an unabstructed view of the beach and ocean. Private, clean, uncluttered, well stocked, a comfortable bed, great island decor..I lacked for nothing. This unit is managed by attentive owners and the communication was excellent. Being close to the pool and to the parking was convenient. Molokai West End at its finest.

Poorly maintained, DW doesn’t clean or dry, screens, floors everything has a film on it, due to needing all windows open to cool the place. Very musty smell lucky we don’t have allergies!! Curtains should be short enough to NOT cover bottom vents when closed or stiflingly hot. Fans were not cleaned either so blowing MORE dirt around!! Bit disappointed. Beach VIEW was nice.

Great view of the beach from the lanai and bedroom! I mean the best! Very short walk to the beach and the pool. Also close to parking. Quiet end unit. Having the screen on the main door is great for being able to leave the doors all open and let the trade winds breeze through. All the beach necessities are available and the kitchen has all the essentials. 4 stars for cleanliness.

The natural geographic area is beautiful with quiet pristine beaches. The greater property and condo are a disaster. The property is run down to the point where more than half the buildings are abandoned and falling down. The actual condo is filthy. Not just Hawaiian red dirt everywhere, but food on dishes and pans, furniture worn and filthy, lift any cushion to find bugs and food. The place is falling apart, doors come off tracks, screens rusted out, and appears to not have been painted or deep cleaned ever. Hawaiian tradition says take your shoes off, but your feet will quickly be black from the dirty floors. I have never seen a place this run down and unkempt. The towels, pans, cookware and decor is packed in and looks to have been collected from various garage sales. Nothing matches and all is worn out, thrown together and literally thrown in drawers and on shelves. They also do not warn you that one must shop on the way there for food as the grocery stores close early and are not open 7 days nor are restaurants. There are next to no amenities on this end of the island. Also do not stray off the coast for hiking (to the trails listed on Alltrails) as you may get shot, the areas above the beach are private and there is active hunting. We heard so much constant gun fire even being on the beach/rocks below made us nervous. The island is quiet and naturally beautiful this particular condo and development are dilapidated, unkempt and filthy. DO NOT STAY HERE.

The pictures of the location are spot on. We absolutely loved the trade winds throughout the unit, meals on the lanai, the incredible sunsets from the lanai, the pool, the birds, the beachfront property, etc.! The view from the bedroom is really incredible. The unit is stocked so nicely, that we were able to create many meals in the full-size kitchen. The host, Dorothy, provides excellent communication and suggestions for your time on Molokai.

We had a wonderful stay in paradise! The view from the lanai, living area and the bedroom/bed was awesome. We could see the sand and surf and hear the waves. Sunset was always beautiful and a highpoint of the day.
The condo had everything we needed and then some. Lots of cooking equipment and even some spices, sugar and refrigerator condiments were really nice to find. Be sure to buy groceries in town as the on-site store is even more expensive, but it is good in a pinch and is open every day until 5 pm.
The two beach chairs were very nice. There was also a beach mat, snorkel set and sand toys.
The pool was always clean and there were never more than a couple people there. The chairs and chaise lounges were comfortable and plentiful.

This condo has been recently redone inside and is lovely. The art is mostly original pieces and makes the inside almost as pretty as the wide ocean view. It's the perfect size for a couple, or possibly a couple with one child. The kitchen is well equipped for a full week's stay, and the cookware is nicer than I've found in most rental condos.
The loudest things in the complex were the birds and the surf. It's an easy walk down to the beach, and there are nice walking paths to the next beach cove to the north.
The store in the complex is open every day, and has a selection of food and beach supplies, plus a few souvenirs.
All the info the owner provided was accurate and helpful (including restaurant suggestions).
Great stay! We'd rent again from this owner in a heartbeat.

We loved our stay here. This property is in an amazing location. I can't imagine anything better. The view from the lanai was perfect. The view from the bedroom was perfect. If you are looking for peace and views, this is where you want to be. The pictures you see of this place are legit. That's really what it looks like. The property owner was great, too. The property was great and just steps away from a deserted beach. If you love peace, solitude and being away from the throngs of tourists in Maui, this place in Mauna Loa, Molokai is fantastic! It's also just a mile away from Papohaku State Park, which is one of the nicest beaches in all of Maui County. The condo itself is very nice and homey with pretty much everything a person or could need. Take note that there are no grocery stores on the west side of the island so stock up in Kaunakakai once arriving from the airport.

Our stay was everything we hoped for! Our unit was well equipped with everything we could have possibly needed (in fact when I mentioned we used a blender every day Dorothy provided two blenders in case one didn't work just to make sure we were taken care of!). The sound of the waves lulled us to sleep each night after watching the sunset from our lanai. It was the respite we needed from the busy-ness of our normal lives. Even with the quiet & solitude - the wifi and cel service was great so that what work was critical was easily accomplished! The beaches were beautiful and we came home with some beautiful seaglass and shells. Thank you Dorothy for a wonderful and much needed vacation! We hope to come back again! We were looking for the perfect place to spend our special anniversary. We had been to all of the other Hawaiian islands except this one. We were looking for a peaceful oceanfront place to stay -- away from the crowds -- since Covid-19 is still around. We looked at several properties on Molokai, but Dorothy's property kept calling our names. We made the perfect choice! The views from our lanai (deck) were exactly as it shows in the pictures -- with the palm trees forming a natural frame for great sunset photographs!!! The upgraded shower/bathroom and kitchen are a selling point. The bed was comfortable! The island has a lot of history, which we found interesting. We found a virtual smorgasbord of beautiful beaches and hiking trails with very few people around! We loved the pool; it was close to our unit, with a gorgeous view of the ocean. There is a small general store on-site so we didn't have to run back to the grocery store about 20 miles away. We were amazed at how many food items they carry. We highly recommend this condo!!!

Dorothy's condo was a true oasis. Upon landing on Molokai and driving into the Resort, we were a little skeptical. The golf course is closed and there are a number of run down buildings. However, once we opened the door to the condo we were pleasantly surprised and further more impressed with the view from the condo and proximity to the beach and pool. It was perfect for a little family getaway. We are already day dreaming about coming back.

This condo located in Kepuhi Beach Resort is perfectly situated with great views of the ocean. It is in close proximity to the swimming pool on the property and is a short walk to the small store offering sundries. The owner of the condo is fantastic and the property is well maintained. This unit has probably one of the best views on the entire island.
We visited in late July and the weather was very hot. Even with the windows open and the fans running, it felt uncomfortable at times This unit does not have an AC which is my only complaint and probably would not be needed in other seasons. The portable fan left by a prior guest was well appreciated. Grocery store on Island has limited selection and in hindsight we should probably brought over some groceries from Maui upon arrival.
The ocean in front of the unit is very calm in the Summer and great for swimming and for those with your own SUP. There are rocks protruding on the beach and in the shallow water so be careful. Sunsets are great and the seculsion and views are unmatched. You can even hike to Papohaku Beach from this location.
Book your Kalaupapa Guided Mule Tour well in advance and note that a prerequisite is that you must book a tour in parallel with Damien Tours LLC regardless if you plan to take mule, hike down, or fly out of the penisulua with Makani Kai Air. As part of the Damien Tours LLC you are issued a permit to visit and this was not clear to me until I arrived on island as transport (mule, hike-in, plane) is booked after you confirm your tour of the colony.

The condo had everything we needed for our stay. And you couldn't beat the location! A short walk out the back door and you could be on the beach, and the view over drinks on the lanai is second to none! A word to the wise though, if you plan on doing laundry bring quarters for the shared machines just outside the unit. Will definitely try to stay here again when we come back to Molokai.

I love Hawaii, yet most of the islands have become so crowded, traffic, tourists, a little hard to get off the beaten track. Molokai is a welcome respite, but even on this quiet island, Kepuhi Resort is a unique oasis. Looking out from our lanai, we could feel we were on a lost and primal island. The lanai has 2 tables and several chairs and that's where we spent most of our time. It's so quiet, except for the roar of the waves and the wind in the palms. You can walk straight down to a beach where we were almost always alone. There are large rocks with areas of sand, and untouched. Perfect sitting rocks for sunset, we'd bring our wine and just BE. No sailboats, no music from luaus, no voices. The waves are massive and powerful - you don't really swim here although there are other swimming beaches very close by and a nice pool. So #1 benefit of this condo is location - being at the corner of the resort closest to the beach, seeing and hearing the beauty of nature constantly.
The condo is on the small side - other resorts just inland are larger, but not on the water. We did have to maneuver to figure out where to unpack and put our suitcases. But that didn't bother us, because we were so delighted every time we walked in the door! The condo is well supplied. The kitchen counter area is small but has decent cutlery & knives (surprising how rare that is on island), a brand new stove, and a dishwasher. We found coffee, filters, dishwasher detergent, paper towels and toilet paper supplied - not sure if that's always the case. Great big TV (didn't use it), internet was good, phone service very sketchy but we knew that having stayed on the West End several times before. The bedroom was too warm even in the trade winds and even with the ceiling fan (no a/c in these units), so we purchased a standing fan and left it for future guests to have a cross-breeze at night. The bed was very comfortable, loved hearing and FEELING the waves all night, and there were plenty of pillows and towels. Bathroom and shower roomy and well-maintained. Washer/dryer steps outside the door (coin operated). Small sundry shop and swimming pool on premises. BBQ area is a little far to lug your meat back and forth but was fine.
We'd definitely stay here again! Thanks Dorothy.

We had an excellent relaxing stay at the condo. The location was great for walking down to the beaches, along the overgrown golf course, or relaxing by the pool. If you are looking for a place to relax without distractions you will like this property. The island of Molokai is small and the rest of the island is easily accessible. Be sure to buy your groceries in Kualapuu or Kaunakakia before heading out to Kepuhi. The place was pretty clean and the furnishing just fine.
I would like to return some time, hopefully before the area gets redeveloped.

I was thrilled with this rental. The location is the best in the entire complex, true oceanfront, just steps to the beach. The view from the living room, dining room, and bedroom is spectacular: the beautiful beach, the rocky cove, and grass and palm trees framing it. We spent a lot of time on the lanai soaking it all in. Inside, the condo was very comfortable, well-furnished, and fully equipped. Owner was very available and gave excellent service as well. Couldn't ask for a better experience!

We have already decided to make this condo an annual vacation. The ocean really is steps away, the sand is so soft and the ocean is clear and invigorating, the weather is great, and the sunsets are spectacular. The value on this gorgeous condo and location is incredible. We live on Maui, a location like this would cost $500 or more a night. Dorothy has done a wonderful job making this unit so beautiful and comfortable, everything you need in the kitchen to make a great meal, along with beach chairs, mats, snorkels, boogie boards,ice chest, beach towels...there is no need to stress over anything. One of the highlights for us was Papohaku, the 3-mile beach less than a mile away. We couldn't believe how beautiful it was and we were the only ones on the beach. We pulled ourselves away from the condo and beach one day to go on the Mule Ride, a truly unique experience, not to be missed. We had planned to go on a hike through Halawa Valley on the last day, but the pull of the beach, the condo, and the relaxation pulled us back to Kepuhi Beach Resort. Dorothy was so nice and timely in handling all of our requests, her service was outstanding. We loved the people of Molokai, it really is the Friendly Isle. We'll be back for sure. We love Kepuhi Beach Resort and this condo especially!! Aloha!

This is a beautiful rental, with a view that the pictures just don't do justice. Oceanfront, with no other rentals in your view, just steps from the ocean. Molokai is a laid back island, if you're looking for a relaxing vacation, this is the spot for you. The owner, Dorothy is extremely helpful and nice. I recommend renting a car from a local rental and taking the opportunity to explore, you literally can't get lost driving.

We stayed five nights in this condo. The view from the bedroom and living area is indeed wonderful. The beach is just a short walk away. The unit had everything we needed for our stay. It is very apparent the condo complex was built decades ago and this particular unit is in need of updates. The dishwasher is not functioning, the fridge door is in need of serious TLC and paint, the sheets were thin & "pilled", the drapes need repair/replacement, slider doors need repair to allow easier access & proper closure. It has one bed for two people, the couch might sleep one person. It does not appear to sleep any additional people. It should also be mentioned that 11 + surrounding buildings and the reception, clubhouse and all buildings associated are in a "condemned" condition - closed for many years, and rotting away. It was a little eerie seeing these buildings. The only amenity still open is the pool and a basic little store. Because the adjoining golf course was closed around 10 years ago, the greens are gone and the paths are overgrown. However, it now allows for extensive walking around the associated property. Molokai is beautiful. If you like walking, hiking, and exploring, sunbathing on amazing beaches, peace and quiet...this is the island for you. It is important to rent a car for this location.
