The area was beautiful, quiet, and peaceful. This was our second trip to Hawaii, and, quite honestly, we liked the first trip but didn't enjoy the hustle and bustle or the tourist crowds. of the first. We had none of that this trip. !00% Relaxing and Fun. The thing we like most about Molokai is how friendly the people are, and the ones we got to know were awesome. We were invited to be a part of their family Christmas on Christmas day, a big family meal, and watch them open presents. Was truly an awesome time. We have already booked a trip next year. These two ladies were calling us Ohana before we left, and we were saying the same to them. Ohana means "Family."

I was very impressed with how rapidly Berit responded to any questions I had. No AC but there are plenty of fans and a big door to the 2nd floor deck. Just dress down. The lure here is the “lack” of glitz. You won’t waste your time shopping at cute stores. But, you might walk south to a huge, almost -deserted white sand beach or north to the beautiful Make Horse beach,a great place for snorkeling or reading a book. Molokai is a unique place.

We enjoyed our relaxing week on Molokai and loved the slower pace. Loved spending several days at the nearby beach and only had to share it with a couple of people - essentially had it pretty much to ourselves. A beautiful way to end a 6 week trip in Hawaii - saved the really relaxing week to the end.

For our first stay on Molokai, we chose this suite. On first approach, without being aware of the history with a development company-it is a little daunting as there are derelict buildings as you enter the property. I suggest you to look up the “Molokai Ranch” for a bit of history on the property.
After getting over this, the property is clean and well kept. The suite is dated, but comfortable never the less. If your going to keep the lanai doors open for air flow at night, get bug spray!!
The lanai did offer a wonderful view of the sunsets on the west side of Molokai and the beach is a short ten minute walk to a spectacular beach.

For a peaceful place to stay it is one of the best places I have visited so far.

Unit is to the far left of the property as you face the ocean. Long walk from car with gear. Kitchen Pans need updating. Couch should be a pull out as even when Im with my partner we will often sleep in a separate bed. The couch is too small to sleep on. No salt and pepper on property which we forgot to bring. Overall great place except for only 1 bed.

A perfect resort, ocean and beach view from the property, quite, ample parking, centralized trash disposal, plenty of towels, wash cloths, beach towels and all you need and want to cook, make coffee and whatever else you do in your kitchen. Nice walkways, beautiful views throughout the property and more than one beach access. The home owner gave plenty of great suggestions and directions right to property.

Here’s the bottom line: I would come back to this place and I would definitely recommend it!
Great location! Residents at the property observe quiet time from 10 PM to 8 AM. Very beautiful sunsets! It was fun watching the big waves. And you will likely see some Hawaiian monk seals sleeping on the beach.
The host is very responsive to any issues that may arise.
Bathroom is a bit dated but for the price I paid, I can’t complain. It works just fine.
Having beach chairs would’ve enhanced our experience watching the sunsets. But we were fine sitting on the sand.
Lastly, maybe replacing some of the pots that are scratched might be a good idea?

The condo is located on the far northwestern coast of Molokai, about 30 minutes from town, where there is a small grocery store. It's a remote location on a remote island that is relatively untouched by tourism. The condos are located on land where there was once a resort and a golf course, which closed many years ago. Some of the old building on the property are still there, but boarded up. We liked that part of it and learning about the history of this place. The coast is rocky, with big beautiful waves and lovely sunsets. If you are looking for a fancy resort, restaurants, or entertainment then go to Maui, but if you are looking for a quaint and remote place to unwind, relax, and appreciate Hawaii in its more traditional form, with little to no tourism, then this is a great place. We had a fantastic time and the pictures posted of the place are bang on and show you exactly what to expect. We can't wait to come back, it was so hard to leave.

The condo had a nice design with a vaulted ceiling and a loft area. It was well equipped, the bed was comfortable, and there was a partial ocean view. The condo "estate" was quiet and people were super friendly. Everything worked, although we couldn't figure out the television. There were no screens onto the lanai, so when we opened the double doors the mosquitoes came in. The combined living/kitchen area was a little dim as the only light was from the double lanai doors. But since we were out and about during the day that was not a problem.

This is a quit island great place to visit if you don't like all the huddle and bussel of all the tourist traps , if you like to explore this is the place to do it but do t expect to look up all the places to go on the internet

Directions very poor, words spelled incorrectly.
Condo needs a lot of updating. Many nearby are closed.
Owner needs to check up on the cleaners. Not up to par.
We paid a cleaning fee, for what ??? We left it much cleaner then when we arrived.
We suggest a grab bar in the shower and a plug-in emergency
light.
Screen door not working, magnet broken.
This unit will not be recommend.

Amazing 1st stay on Molokai for me and my wife 17yr Wedding Anniversary. Berit was personally phenomenal especially taking a late evening call due to our late arrival from our hooper plane from Maui to ensure we arrived at the correct location. Her unit was a very nice studio retreat for myself and my wife with some nice character. The miles of white sandy beaches and the views were icing on the cake. If your looking for a great place to get away and experience the real aloah with just yourself and or spouse and not interested in the big touristy trap, definitely think of traveling to Molokai and stay at Berits property.

The condo is simple but clean. The bed is comfortable. There is hi-speed Wi-Fi and TV and there’s almost no people there. Wonderful! The only thing that would have been better was a 10 cup coffee pot rather than 4 cup. Thank you Berit!!! We would definitely stay here again. Blessings

We loved our stay at the Kepuhi Beach Resort. Incredible location with ocean views and steps to the beach. Quiet and serene. The rental was quaint and a perfect size for my wife and I. The unit provided everything we needed to feel at home. With a full size fridge, oven, stove and microwave we made all of our meals here and saved a bunch of money. The outdoor gas grill was a nice option to cook at during sunset! Berit was a pleasure to rent from and he gave us great tips to enjoy our stay to the fullest. We hope to be back soon!

The Condo was nicely decorated, had nice (2019) appliances and was comfortable. The Lanai was where we spent a lot of time when in the condo and it had a good view of the ocean. The owner was quick to answer questions and was courteous. All round a very good experience. The stairs were fine for us but I would not recommend for people who have difficulty with stairs.

Loved the beach being right there. They answered every question quicksand helped find things we needed on the island. We had to ask someone where our condo was. With there being no central office makes it a little hard. Over all great stay and will for sure be back.

This property worked nicely for our stay in Molokai. It was the perfect amount of space and arrangement (with the loft bedroom) for my husband and I. The property was comfortable and functional. The small balcony with ocean views is fantastic! This is where we spent the most time while at the condo. The condo is a bit dated and worn, but quite comfortable. Beach at the property and nearby beaches are beautiful and have hardly anyone on them - sublime! Facing west, the sunsets can be amazing.

This is an older condo which could use a little upgrading. However, this is reflected in the price, and we were happy to be there. The bed was comfy and the view beautiful. It’s one of many located on the grounds of an old Sheraton hotel which has been defunct for many years, but the grounds are beautifully maintained by the condo owners. The nearby beaches are beautiful but too rough for safe swimming (this is the case for most beaches in Molokai). The swimming pool is lovely and we frequently had it to ourselves. The sunsets from the pool are magnificent, as are the stars at night. If you seek peace and quiet far away from everything this is the place for you!

We really love all the room's. The cooking area it was very roomy.
We had WIFI. The location of the Apartment, was close to the parking area, and Close to the Washer & Dryer.
All the people were nice and very helpful to us...I already missed Molokai.

My husband and I spent 7 days in this condo for his encore 45th birthday. It had all amenities we needed. If you’re planning a stay in the near future there are plenty of coffee filters as we bought a huge pack only to find there were already filters at the condo.
The grounds are immaculately maintained despite the small caveat that the original resort closed several decades ago. The hotel section still remains but is blocked off as it is dilapidated. The golf course is overgrown but the cart paths are still there. The pool is beautiful and right by the beach!
We found all the locals to be very friendly. We will definitely return!

The condo unit was decent accommodations. We didn't have any significant issues with the room itself, but the with the overall complex. The pool and lack of amenities compared to Ke Nani Kai is why I didn't give a five star, especially when combined with the minor issues with the room itself.

Everything about this condo is amazing, from the view overlooking the ocean to the peaceful sounds of the birds and the breeze. Walking the grounds of the former resort is like walking through a fairytale - everything is so lush and green.
The main town on the island (Kaunakakai) has a friendly little grocery store that we stocked up in before heading to the unit, and a little shop that advertises 'the best ice cream in Hawaii'. Driving around the island was easy and the countryside is incredibly unique. The unit itself was clean, quiet, easy to find, and the wifi was strong. The owners have stocked the unit with everything you'll need for a comfortable stay and are very responsive to any questions you may have.
The listing isn't lying when it says it's not unusual to be the only ones on the beach - there were a few people at the resort itself but we saw maybe only 2 or 3 people on the beach whenever we went (and with 3 miles of beach you don't really notice other people).
Overall, I would recommend this condo to anyone looking to 'get away from it all' but who still want some of home's creature comforts (like wifi). I am already planning my next trip back!

I absolutely loved our little condo! Everything was perfect with anything you may need provided for. The bed is so comfortable and the area so quiet I slept like a log! It's just a short walk to the beach and the water is crystal.

The grounds and occupied buildings of Kepuhi Beach Resort were well maintained and taken care of. The pool was awesome right above the ocean. We found the condo to be in need of some extra tlc and some deep cleaning. It was surfaced cleaned, but did need to do some cleaning myself to make me feel comfortable. I did contact the owners with these issues and they were very receptive to my suggestions. I have since heard from them and been informed that a thorough spring cleaning is being done. We did enjoy spending the 8 days on Molokai and had THE BEST BREAKFAST at the Kuala put Cookhouse. Yummy.

The property is clean and overall quiet. We saw whales from our condo and enjoyed barbecuing. We did have super noisy partying neighbors who don’t realize how much sound carries through the thin walls and on the other side smokers on the lanai (it’s supposed to be 💯 smoke free property) We will go back, maybe choose an updated cleaner unit and get the number for property security next time if we need to get support for those two things. Overall the trip was amazing, owner of unit very responsive.

We were fortunate to be able to stay in this condo for almost 3 months and I can assure you,that all the buildings, that are rentals or owned,are in very good condition. This complex/resort is a 'one of',therefore, some will love this quiet,no frills place and,apparently,some will not. This is our 4th year,however,we knew before coming here for the 1st time,that it was going to be a bit remote. There is a daily bus service,so,you can 'take care of business' without a vehicle,although having one is a treat. This condo has everything you have in your own home,with a cottage feel,plus a "bedroom" loft,with an ocean view balcony on the main floor.What's not to like....it's warm and you're in a non traffic,non noisy part of Hawaii. If you want all the amenities/night life etc. in close proximity,I would suggest Maui or Oahu.This 'friendly isle' is quite different,in a very good way,than the other islands,for sure. In any case,we really,really enjoy staying in this condo and honestly,have absolutely no problem recommending this unit to anyone.

If you like wild areas, abandoned resortes and buildings falling apart you should give this place a shot. The condo was not very well cleaned though, so you may have to accept some mold in the fridge and heavy dust on the bedside table. Far away from everything, but as everywhere in Hawaii the people are really nice.

Hardly anyone around. Very peaceful and quiet. Nice to sit on the lanai and listen to the birds. Some of the buildings were run down and condemned. Far from town. Beautiful sunsets. Heat wave while here so hard to sleep at night without air con. Unit clean and well stocked.
