Constant sound of ocean waves were divine. The secluded beach was just right. Nice walk to town. Loved watching the waves crash from the twin bed window. I would stay here again.

The condo was quite cute and very clean. All amenities were provided and it was great to have a washer and dryer so we had clean clothes to take home. As a side note… the private beach is very nice, but be warned, the trail to it can be treacherous, especially after a couple of rainy days. Would certainly recommend this condo

Everything was great and very well supplied. Was bummed that the window over the day bed didn't open, but I understand. There is no AC so it can get warm. And I would agree that the chairs on the patio should be a bit bigger so you can sit out there longer - to dine, read, etc.

We had an excellent stay at Sealodge. You can’t beat Princeville. It’s such a great location. The condo was great. Fun beach color scheme and decor. Nice second story unit. Comfortable bed and pillows. Comfortable couch. In unit washer and dryer was a nice bonus. Would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I feel so fortunate that we were able to stay at this lovely condo for 4 nights during our 20th anniversary trip to Kauai. The photos accurately show the condition of the condo- it is clean, updated, and decorated with a nice beachy vibe. The ocean breeze keeps the condo cool such that we did not miss air conditioning despite daily temperatures in the 70s-80s. It was so inspiring to watch the sunrise over the ocean each morning. The condo is fully stocked as noted in the description and there are also kitchen essentials such as plastic wrap, bags, foil, coffee filters, and many different spices/seasonings. There is a Foodland grocery store conveniently located 5 minutes away. Sealodge is a nice, quiet condo community and the beach is beautiful and private. We saw several turtles on the beach and also many fish while snorkeling there (better snorkeling than we experienced at nearby Anini beach). The trail down to the beach could be challenging for some, so wear appropriate footwear with traction (we wore Chacos). There is a nice walking/running path in Princeville that is accessible just down the road from the condo. It was majestic to view the mountains across the golf course from this path in the mornings. Don't miss the pizza at Hideaways right near the condo! Trust me- the spinach and pear pizza was amazing :) Thanks to Alexis and Gifford for sharing your Kauai retreat with us!

We really enjoyed our three days at this lovely and well cared for condo. We experienced rain, but also got some photos of incredible sunrises. You couldn’t ask for a better view! A dream location.

This condo is so bright and airy, instills that “vacation mode” feeling as soon as you step in and appreciate the gorgeous views and beachy decor. Screens are in good repair, so just threw open the windows and with the ocean breeze and fans, no need for AC! I spent 8 nights in this beautiful space, falling asleep to the peaceful sounds of the ocean, waking each morning to the most incredible sunrises imaginable! My mother and sister joined me for 6 nights, and with the pull out couch and day bed the space was very comfortable for the three of us. While I do travel with my own snorkel gear, there is gear provided at the condo. Especially appreciated the beach chairs and towels. My favorite snorkeling spot on the North Shore is Anini Beach, just a short drive from the condo. It’s a nice walk to Princeville Village and Foodland for groceries. The kitchen is well equipped and has everything we needed to prepare delicious meals. Highly recommend the Fish Market in Hanalei for the fresh catch of the day. We found amazing fresh produce sourced from the island at the Princeville Open Air Market! The owners were extremely responsive and easy to communicate with. Mahalo for an incredible first experience on the north shore ~ see you next year!

Approximately 3 weeks before we arrived, we were message by the owners that the pool was in disrepair and about a week before our arrival I decided to check to see if it was fixed as a pool is important to us. We were informed that there was no information on a date for repair and things run on Hawaiian time so the repair date was illusive. When we were in Princeville for a bit we were told by several people that the pool had not been operational for months! That did not sit well with us as it felt like this was an important detail that wasn’t disclosed to us before our final payments were made. We noticed the need for further updates in the unit. It has been partially updated. It is very well stocked as far as supplies available for guest use and we appreciated that. It could use some more repairs, a better patio set that is better than uncomfortable plastic chair set, and a good cleaning (corners, baseboards, grout on tub etc). There were games available but mostly for more than 2 people. The television was okay but we couldn’t sign into our streaming accounts as we are Canadian and we couldn’t sign it. There is no cable. There is no place on the property in general where you could possible meet people other than the bbq which are older and use briquettes. We had an issue with our washing machine draining and the plumbing is old so it flooded out the unit below us. The view was spectacular but we would trade it for better amenities.

We loved our stay at this unit . The unbelievably beautiful view and the seabirds flying by the windows were wonderful. The snorkeling at Sealodge beach was great. We snorkeled there when the sea was calmer. It was very convenient to just take the 15 minute from the unit, no worries about losing personal belongings . Cooking was very easy with enough space and high quality equipment. We had everything we wanted for a great stay. We loved it so much that we rebooked for next year while we were there.

We really enjoyed our four nights at the condo. It is lovely decorated, the kitchen has modern appliances and everything you need, the bed was very comfortable and the ocean views incomparable. It is also situated in a very nice neighbourhood with shops/restaurants close. A perfect spot to watch birds, go snorkelimg or hiking.

Listing was very good. However, pool was closed the entire time we were there which was not conveyed to us prior to our arrival nor was there a sign explaining the closure. Physical location of SeaLodge is perfect. Quiet neighborhood area and zero noise. It would make sense for this area to turn off outdoor lighting or put in low level/low intensity lightning on the walkways only. This would improve the start gazing at night and bird fallout. We kept the porch light off the entire stay. Patio table is not the best, something heavier would be better. Too many spilled glasses trying to pull in the chairs. The shower curtain rod was funky at best and not unusual for the floor to get wet. The shower curtains were difficult to pull close to the wall to keep the water out..

We enjoyed our two night stay, especially the beautiful views. This place is in a great location, close to several stores and just a short drive into Hanalei Bay. The kitchen is well stocked so we cooked a simple dinner each night. The place was a good size and layout for the two of us. Several of the window screens are in need of replacement due to large rips (and one window was stuck and wouldn't open) but we were fortunate enough not to have many bugs get through. The cool breezes each evening quickly cooled off the condo and made for a pleasant sleeping temperature.

My wife and I loved our stay at this small condo in Princeville. It had everything we needed and more. The sunrises and moonrises over the ocean were phenomenal! As mentioned in the property description there is no air conditioning but the ocean breeze cooled the place off in just a few minutes. Nicely decorated with a beach theme as shown in the listing. A gem of a property!

This was the worst experience we've ever had at a vacation rental due to high levels of physical pain for both myself and my 73 year old mother, as well as many sleepless nights, and intolerable boiling heat within the condo. While the views are beautiful, we were not able to Enjoy them, due to inexcusably negligent owners. At the beginning of our nearly 1 month long stay, the owner said that other guests had complained "bugs" were a real problem. Having lived in Hawaii for10 years, we weren't concerned, because we know that living in the tropics one must be diligent about cleanliness, and we are fastidious guests. The housekeeper even complimented us on our cleanliness. We were not aware however, that most the of the screens in the condo, were Ripped Open with Huge Gaps and Separations (so the screens didn't even Close!). This allowed many of the screens to literally blow open in the wind, exposing large amounts of the outdoors, which, despite mosquito repellant and wearing mosquito bands to bed, allowed an intolerable mosquito infestation to continually harass us, and cause Terribly Painful Welts all over our bodies (including welts in highly sensitive areas). This completely wrecked our sleep, which is so important on a special vacation when you are spending so much money! This terrible infestation left us continuously exhausted, as the bites were so awful that no matter what we tried- 800 mg Ibu,Tylenol Extra Strength, caladryl, and cortisone- nothing could lessen the severe levels of pain. It was so awful that this review doesn't even do justice to the extreme pain. When we messaged (far too politely) about our pain and sleepless nights due to the ripped screens and mosquitos- Silence was the reply. Not even a reply! And the owners saw the message. Yet not an ounce of empathy did they give us. The only "solution" we had, was to keep all the glass doors and windows shut. In Hawaii. In August! The heat was utterly unbearable. Muggy, stuffy, nauseating, high heat, with no blinds in the living room to block out the blazing sun that collects inside the condo and remain there. Along with a fly infestation. The owners Should have fixed the screens in advance. Even the Housekeeper Told Us that the owner was *fully aware of the ripped screens.* Also- the "clear ocean view" in the bedroom is covered by a fully grown tree. Totally Misleading marketing! We were taken advantage of. Protect yourself and your vacation, and definitely BOOK ELSEWHERE!

We loved the views, the private Sea Lodge Beach, the sunsets from the lawn, and the clean apartment! The consistent sea breeze kept temperatures comfortable, the bed was comfortable, and the only thing that we didn't like was that the renters above us liked to stomp around late and night and early in the morning. Overall, it was a wonderful stay.

A beautiful place to let the cares of the world fade away. Now, if we could only get rid of the cell phone. Thank you for creating a wonderful experience.

Overall, we had a great experience staying at this VRBO property. Communication was smooth overall, with some waiting on responses during the booking process and time leading to our arrival. The spot was clean, in a great location, and had beautiful views of the ocean. We spent the majority of our time in Kauai out and about, and this spot was a perfect place to relax and unwind at the end of the day. We loved the island and would recommend this spot to anyone staying in Princeville.

We really enjoyed our stay at Sea Lodge!! The decor is perfect for an ocean front condo. My wife loved the nook surrounded by ocean view for her daily Bible study. The breeze and sound of the ocean was so relaxing with the windows open. We named our morning wake up call Colonel Sanders🐓🤣. Thank you Gifford and Alexis for sharing your little slice of heaven on earth!

The most amazing view, so clean, great trail to a beautiful private beach, and close to everything up north! Full sized washer and drier came in clutch so we didn’t have to travel home with a bunch of dirty clothes, and could actually pack less. So many wonderful things to say about this place!

Wow! This place was so lovely, spacious and well-located. Could have just stayed all day looking out from the lanai and day bed. Views were beyond compare. There was lots nearby and the pool area was very nice. The condo had everything we needed and the setting was very relaxing/well-maintenanced. Nice breezes in apt. Nicely decorated with unique wood features. Very responsive owners. Highly recommend.

Beautiful condo with wonderful beach decor, natural wood accents and comfortable furnishings. Well equipped kitchen and nice lanai for dining. Perched high and unobstructed, the view is beyond amazing! Comfortable beds and bath with ample supply of linens and bedding. Appreciate all the beach extras; chairs, coolers, boogie boards etc. Pride of ownership is obvious. Parking and access is easy and we love the location. We had a memorable stay and will definitely stay in this Sea Lodge condo again.

The wall of windows and covered patio are amazing. Kitchen is well stocked and immaculate, beds are comfortable, beach gear made our days in the sand perfect. Coolers, chairs, boogie boards, rain/sunbrella! The only reason I didn’t give this condo a full 5 stars is the lack of furniture in the condo. Look closely at the pics - other than the two beds, there is only one sofa to sit on. No table to eat at and no way to have a conversation comfortably because you are sitting in a row on the couch. As the rainy week went by, this got more and more irritating. Otherwise, perfect condo!

This was the place to be with all the amenities and the scenery! Hearing the waves and the roosters was a highlight! We did a lot of tours and coming back to the condo was like being on the beach! We had such a fantastic time and thanks so much for letting us stay in your amazing condo! We will be back :) ~Katie and Mike

We would rent this property again. It was decorated with a coastal vibe and splashes of color that visually stimulated your eyes in a tasteful way. Loved the uninterrupted view! The wash machine came in very handy because we encountered a lot of mud on our hikes. The kitchen was well equipped and made cooking our meals easy. The bed was comfortable and the condo was extremely clean which I really appreciated.

We loved this condo! It was small but cozy and worked great for myself, my husband and our 11 year old son. My son enjoyed waking up to the incredible views from the window bed and we all enjoyed relaxing there during the day. Going to sleep in the bedroom to the sound of the waves was soothing. The unit has no AC but the breeze with the windows open made that a non issue. The unit was well stocked from beach gear to kitchen items. The neighborhood was nice and safe. Highly recommend this unit for a couple or small family!

This condo is a huge contributor to why our vacation was so amazing! The view was absolutely beautiful, gorgeous sunrises, unique view of a reef, and gorgeous views of the moon and stars at night!. The interior was beautiful updated and decorated; cozy but not cluttered. There is plenty of space, a ton of amenities (laundry, beach items, coolers, beach bags, dishes, etc etc!) The bed was firm and comfortable, and the day bed by the windows was my favorite place to relax. If I had to list a negative, it would only be that I wish the side window in the living room had a curtain/shade as it faced other people’s windows/balcony’s, so it didn’t feel very private, however it did not impact our vacation in the slightest! There is no air conditioning, but with the windows open, you get an amazing breeze which cools the condo really quickly! There is also a ceiling fan and 2 box fans in the condo if you need extra air! Everything in the condo was in great shape and worked perfectly. The grounds are gorgeous as well! I would not recommend hiking to the beach unless you are a highly skilled hiker! It’s VERY steep, very muddy, and is not an easy hike! The condo is in a great location, just a few minutes from Hanalei, and from a shopping center with a grocery store, shops, and Lapperts ice cream. It’s easy to drive to all sides of the island, and is an all around great place to stay! We can’t wait to come back!!!

We loved this little condo! It has everything needed for a comfy stay. The views are incredible- possibly the best view in this whole area! Easy access to everything. There is no a/c but we didn’t miss it- the breeze up here on the cliff is cool and relaxing. Whether helicopter or boat- take the Napoli Coast Tour….you won’t regret it! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and touring the island! Thank you so much for sharing your piece of paradise with us!

We absolutely LOVED our stay! The condo was so great, still dreaming about the view. All the extras within the condo was so much appreciated - snorkel gear, beach chairs, boogie board, beach towels, coolers, fans, the decor and more.... Kitchen was well stocked with everything you need. The Sealodge Beach was a pleasant walk and secluded. Overall we will definitely stay here again and looking forward to it!!
