What a fantastic way to spend 10 days in Princeville. The condo has all the mod cons so we cooked in pretty much every night of our stay; mostly fresh local seafood and veg. The views from the green house roofed entry, kitchen and living room are all expansive but the lanai view is the real show stopper: wide expanses of the ocean fringed by lush vegetation closer to shore. We saw surfers and people snorkeling close to shore while further out whales breached as they passed in pods heading north. Close to the places we wanted to be, the condo was the perfect place for us.

The condo is exactly as described if not more. The view off the patio is amazing. We stayed in July and it was warm in Princeville, but this unit has air conditioning and therefore allowed us to stay cool when we were in the condo. The kitchen and full size refrigerator allowed us to prepare and cook a few meals as well. I would recommend this unit to everyone

Number 207 is spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated. The view was unbeatable. The interior was bright and comfortable, we liked the sunroom feature which made the place feel huge, the glass light wall which was very calming in the late night. The furniture was in great condition and clean and the towels were soft and clean.
As for the property, this is as close as you can get to the steep but quick 6 min trail to Hideaways beach, a great beach for calm snorkeling. The pool while small was not crowded and there were a couple of times we were the only ones there. We also played tennis at the Puu Poa tennis court a couple of times, although the court was not in good shape and could use a washing and some cracks filled in.
We accidentally locked ourselves out of the unit and Richard (owner/manager) was responsive and helped us get in quickly. We would definitely come back to Puu Poa!

Beautiful and spacious unit overlooking the pacific! Exceptional sunset viewing from the enormous lanai. Very well equipped kitchen for cooking most meals. Great selection of appliances and good sized dinning table. Bathrooms are very well done and very clean. Great sunroom with equally great views as the lanai. It was nice to fall asleep to the sound of the ocean! Plenty of parking and Hideaway Beach is a short walk away. Great communication and very friendly host! Thanks for the incredible stay at such a lovely property!

This is a beautiful property, excellent layout, private, with the most amazing beach just below the property.
This is the perfect spot for a relaxing family vacation with adventure opportunities all around. The unit was perfect for preparing in house meals that we ate on the balcony with the most amazing views, warm breezes, and sound of the ocean. The sun porch was a dream with the windows completely opening to make a outside/inside experience falling asleep to the sound of the ocean.
The walk to Hideaway beach was straight out of Swiss Family Robinson…..the beach was so amazing we scrapped plans to visit other beaches….very few people at the beach and had it to ourselves in the later evening & in the early morning. Amazing snorkeling where we swam with turtles, eels, variety of fish, among other things. Saw surfers off the beach daily.
The property was surprisingly quiet. We only saw a handful of people on the property during our stay and the pool was almost always empty. The beach is so amazing we only used the pool a couple of times.
Wish we had more time so we could explore Hanalei & beaches/trails North…..next time.
Only challenge was road traffic south which was a small price to pay.
Richard was a gracious & responsive host.
The property is expensive to stay at but well worth the price and a great value.

The only negative was that there was Only coffee filters and a roll of Saran Wrap for pantry items…… No spices, not even salt and pepper BUT that was a minor inconvenience compared to all the plusses!! The condo was beautiful as was the setting, and the location was great. We loved our stay there. The host is wonderful, and communicated well with us. Thank you!!

We really enjoyed our stay at the condo. The location was wonderful with an amazing view of the ocean from the Lanai and out in front of the condo was an incredible view of the mountains where you could see many waterfalls after a rain. We were able to watch whales at a distance from the lanai. The place was very comfortable and was fairly stocked with dishes. The place was very clean and all the linens were set out beautifully. The reason I gave 4 stars for cleanness was the dishes and cookware were not very clean and heavily used. We washed most every thing before we used it. We loved our stay and would definitely stay again. Thanks for sharing your place with us!

We could not have been more thrilled about our stay at this beautiful condo. The kitchen is well equipped, the barbecue is a lovely addition as we tend to like to cook ourselves while we are on vacation. The views from the expansive windows are spectacular. Richard was a wonderful host, responsive and accessible anytime for questions before and during your stay.
The location in Princeville is close to beautiful beaches, amazing hiking trails, and a wonderful farmers market on Saturdays can be found in nearby Kilauea.

The views from the lanai are very good! The layout of condo takes full advantage of the ocean views. It was also very quiet. The interior is dated but in good shape. **If you want to see the lighthouse you need to make a reservation at least a week in advance. We got shutout**

Because of the pandemic, this vacation required four rebookings to finally happen. Mahalo to Richard and Rosaline for working with us throughout this ordeal. A senior mother and her two 50’s kids wanted to spend a couple weeks together. Patience was the key and actually our low key time was reminiscent of many years ago before the hustle, bustle of the Islands. The view and space of this condo is so comfortable…..lots of aloha…..mahalo

If you are looking for a comfortable, spacious condo with lots of outdoor space and spectacular views... look no further! We were 2 couples traveling together. This condo had plenty of space for us. The washer and dryer added a very nice convenience. This location just can't be raved about enough. We loved it so much! We will definitely be back!

This condo felt so much like home that we had tears in our eyes the day that we left. Beautiful view from the lanai/ sun room, and perfect location for North shore activities. The hideaway beach was a fun spot, and a hidden gem as well. Richard was very pleasant to talk to and made sure that all of our needs were met, allowing us to stay later on check out day. This apartment was clean and well maintained, on the first floor of a small complex situated at the top of the cliff above Hideaway Beach. There are two bedrooms, a well appointed kitchen area, two lounge areas and a patio overlooking the ocean, with a BBQ.
The steep path to the beach is well worth the effort, revealing a beautiful area that's perfect for relaxing and snorkeling (we saw 6 turtles on one day). There's also an easier short walk to the public beach in front of the nearby hotel (currently being refurbished), as well as a pool and tennis courts in the complex.
There are a couple of nearby restaurants a short walk away, and the Princeville shopping center about 5-10 mins drive (40 mins walk). The road to Hanalei has restricted access at the moment, so needs careful planning.

This property was exactly as advertised. The kitchen is fully stocked, and had coffee filters, dish soap, trash bags, etc. There are beach chairs, snorkeling gear, cooler, and beach towels. Great amenities. Had pizza at Hideaways which was ok. Great dinner at B’s Kitchen. Terrific food. Went back the next night and they were doing takeout only due to staff shortage. If you like Poke, Foodland has a terrific Poke deli. Great listening to the waves crashing and beautiful sunsets. Overall great stay! Thank you Richard.

If you enjoy lush tropical environs, this is for you. Plenty of space for our family. Solarium gives extra living room - opening the wall of windows to enjoy sunrise (thank you jet lag!) with our morning coffee was a delight! It was warm when we visited and a/c was lovely to cool us down. It is some distance to "town" but the grocery nearby is very well stocked and grab a meal at the 76 station- great takeout from inside the restaurant counter there. Kauai is a delight!

We had a great time staying at Richard's condo in Princeville. The unit was well cared for and had all the amenities you would need. The location is great, right next to the Princeville Resort and the path down to Hideaway Beach. It was nice to have access to the pool which over looks the water and offers a nice relaxing alternative to going to the beach. The check in process was as easy as it could be and the communication was instant with the owner and his local property manager. All in all we had a wonderful time and I would recommend staying here to my friends and family.

We can’t say enough about how nice this condo and location is in Princeville! We spent hours on the balcony enjoying the breezes and ocean views, including surfers at Hideaways morning and evening.
The beds and furniture were very comfortable. The kitchen has all the equipment you need, but there are no pantry items or coffee filters, so be prepared to bring everything you need to cook. Beach towels and a closet full of beach chairs and snorkeling gear etc. is a nice touch.
We needed the AC because it gets pretty warm later in the day (this is June) but the mornings were cool and comfortable.
Highly recommend this Pu’u Poa ocean view, and especially this property. Thank you, Richard.

Beautiful condo and ocean view! The owner Richard was super responsive to all correspondences. Internet was very spotty and that would not have been an issue except that our cell phone service did not work. Must have been a cell phone tower down, so no fault of the owner, as on our last day service finally appeared. Lovely "Hidden Beach" that we could walk down to and go snorkeling, which was excellent. We would definitely go back!

Perfect location. Close to Hideaways and Pu'u Poa beaches which means you don't have to worry about parking for either which is very hard to come by. Air conditioning is a big plus as it can get warm in the afternoons. Unit was very large for our group of 4 adults. Cant get a better view of the ocean. Just beautiful.
One complaint kept me from giving 5 stars. The internet is basically dial up speed. Fastest I could measure was 0.65 Mbps. Pretty much unusable. Wouldn't have been that big of a problem except for the location gives you almost no Verizon signal. AT&T signal is slightly better but be prepared to drive up to the shopping center for service. Phone calls dropped but texts would go through. Forget about looking anything up on the internet. When I asked for help I was told that the internet is something they always have issues with on the North Shore. This is not accurate. We have stayed in Princeville several times over the last few years and never had this issue. We are in a different Condo in Princeville right now and our speed is 75Mbps. That's over 100 times faster!
Other than the internet issue, this property is magnificent. We very much enjoyed our time there.

This is a wonderful condo on the bluff above Hideaway Beach and a short walk to Pu'u Poa Beach. A short drive to the market and restaurants, but the kitchen is fully set up if you decide to stay in and cook. Easy access to Hanalei and the Kalalau trailhead. Very clean and comfortable property in an excellent location.

We had a fantastic time in this unit. It is well furnished and has the most gorgeous views. The air conditioning was a welcome relief in the afternoons. We hope to come visit again soon!
