We came to Maui for the first time for our 20th anniversary and the honeymoon we never had. Our condo was perfect! Bed was very comfortable, shower was spacious, the lanai had the BEST view! Everything we needed in the kitchen. Absolutely no problems. We would definitely book this rental again. The pool was quiet and refreshing. We loved watching the people and dogs on the lawn in the park below, had the best sunset views every morning. Only thing we would change is access to a grill for cooking.

Stayed at Leinaala in October 2024 for the second time. The unit had the basics for cooking as well as beach chairs and coolers. Did not lack anything we really needed. Location is great and the view from the lanai is better than the pictures. Building is very quiet and the caretaker keeps everything looking nice. We had a problem with the sunshade on the lanai when we arrived. After one call to Rentals Maui the shade was fixed within a day. I would not hesitate to rent through Rentals Maui at any of their locations. I do highly recommend the Leinaala for a stay.

This was our second stay at Leinaala 302 as we can’t imagine staying anywhere else on Maui. It’s really perfect. Ocean view, quiet adult bldg with a pool, close enough to Kihei for convenience but you feel far from the bustle. Glorious panoramic sunset views, and steps to the ocean for warm beach walks. The condo is also beautiful, comfortable and well appointed and the property is beautifully maintained with a clean pool. Also, all of the staff with Rentals Maui are incredibly friendly and helpful. Already planning stay #3!

We absolutely loved this little condo during our two week stay. The kitchen has everything you need to cook if you want. The furniture is clean and comfortable. We had the pool area to ourselves most of the time as well. Will definitely stay again!

One beach chair and coolers need to be replaced, there was no beach umbrella (were bought a small one and left it there) and there is absolutely no shade at the swimming pool. Spend every morning having coffee while enjoying a beautiful view of the ocean surrounded by park like setting. Relax after adventure filled days by watching evening sunsets from your private balcony. Spacious condo with everything you need to unwind and enjoy your vacation in paradise. Comfortable furniture, well stocked kitchen, and hot shower! Centrally located making it easier to travel to all parts of the island. We spent 10 wonderful days here and enjoyed every minute. The only small issue,that can't be helped, is road traffic leaving the complex. Doesn't impact condo at all, just frustrating at times turning left out of parking lot. (Only mentioning to give a heads up. It would not stop me from staying here again.)

Maui is always Beautiful! It’s great to stay in a condo instead of a resort because, if your active, it’s just a place to sleep and make affordable meals - which is important on the Island, especially these days $$$$!
Leinaala has beautiful grounds - a nice pool (on the smaller side) and its own beach access - however the beach is covered in coral and shells and the sand is rather coarse - a good entry for snorkeling or scuba but not much else. Again, the landscape around the property and the pool are well maintained but the building itself is ‘tired’. Our unit that we stayed in was very clean, well appointed and had a terrific view. However, it was as tired as the building and there were several annoying issues that the property management wasn’t interested in addressing - the most problematic was the air conditioning that went out the 2nd day of our trip - to be fair, it was only 1 split of the 2 split system - but it made for intolerably hot afternoons in the unit, even w/ the shades drawn to block out the sun - and who wants to block their ocean view anyway?
The other split worked fine and that thankfully was in the bedroom, ‘Whew!’
All in All, a great Maui Vacation in spite of a less than perfect VRBO! Mahalo

We loved Leinaala 302! The bed was the most comfortable. We have stayed on in ages. Everything was there that we could possibly need. We spent so much time on the lanai watching the people in the park and looking at the beautiful palm trees in the ocean, and the sunsets and the skies at night. They even put in new washers and dryer while we were there which was nice. Stephen the manager was friendly and helpful. We love the location as well. I would recommend this space to anyone fortunate enough to travel to Maui.

This place is perfect for a couple. Clean and with an amazing view from balcony - we enjoyed coffee on the patio every single morning at sunrise with a great view of the park, palm trees and ocean. We were about 1 mile (20-minute walk) from the nearest shopping center/strip mall, and about 2 miles (40-minute walk) from our favorite bars and restaurants (Vibe Bar, Paia Fish Market, Tiki Lounge, Three's).

This place was lovely with a few things that could be improved. Unfortunately our neighbors were loud and this place does not have great sound proofing. The bedroom basically has an open window (glass slats) to the hallways and stairway/parking lot so all the sound carries right to the bedrooms. The location was awesome and the view is gorgeous. Some of the units items need replacing - the umbrella was basically useless and the pots and pans are black with age and use. The parking spaces are TINY. We got a small car but the cars on either side had a jeep and a giant van so I had to get out before my husband parked. If you plan on staying here don’t opt for a larger car. Everyone else does, but at least you’ll have a little room. The apartment was clean and the AC was a lifesaver. The front door jammed once and we had a few moments of panic that we were locked out before we were able to get in. I don’t think this it was the first time that happened based on the marks on the door frame.

We enjoyed breakfast every morning from the balcony! We loved the view. I did have to work on this trip and the wifi was fantastic and I could not beat a better view when having to work in paradise! Parking is a little tight but if you live in a major city you understand that. They have coffee filters, spices, etc for cooking. I was so exhausted that I bought extra and left it there for the next person. We loved that they provided chairs for going to the beach. There was even a hard small cooler there in case you need it. They provide two towels there for after the pool so you may want to pack your own beach towels for going to the beach. The coin operated laundry was not bad. We used it and it was nice to not bring back a ton of dirty laundry home. Restaurants and grocery store is not far at all! Be sure to book your activities in advance as tours fill up quick. Most of the boats were booked up but we were able to find one to take us to Turtle Town. I would stay here again. We got engaged on this trip and now we are talking about coming back to get Maui'd! Mahalo!

This condo is very nicely furnished and appointed. The view is the best part! The condo conveniently located about 35 minutes from the airport and about 45 minutes from Lahaina. We really enjoyed Kihei and the Waimea area—it has great shopping and restaurants and is not as hectic as the Lahaina/Kaanapali area. Give it a try—you won’t be disappointed!

After being away for more than 2 years, it was nice to come back to a familiar place which my husband and I have been coming to for the past 11 years. What we love about this place is its proximity to the beach and restaurants. The unit we stayed in was well equipped with everything you need (in the kitchen, extra beddings, and lounge chairs). It was wonderful to wake up in the morning and look out on the water with a cup of coffee and later in the day, watch the sunset from your balcony. We’ll be back!

We really enjoyed our stay at Leinaala Condos. The kitchen was very well stocked, and we appreciated the abundance of extra towels, blankets, beach chairs, and coolers that were provided. The condominium community was very quiet and peaceful, and the park and beach access right out in front was lovely to have access to for enjoying the sunsets. Some things to note- the bed is not the most comfortable especially for side sleepers do to being very firm. We were also unable to use the AC in the bedroom because of a very loud noise the condensation pump makes when it goes off (it woke us up in the night several times the first night). Lastly, the window louvers are pretty corroded shut and the sliding glass door comes off the track a lot. Other than those few downsides to the unit, the view was amazing and it had everything we needed to enjoy our stay.

I really enjoyed this property. Clean, amazing view, very quiet (even with construction below they started late and finished early) I really appreciated that the checkout list was so simple (not a mile long like some places) the kitchen has everything you could need. I was on vacation with my son so we left early everyday and came back in time to make dinner and watch the sunset on the lanai every evening.
My only gripe is the bed is a little janky, does the job but not luxury lol. I couldn’t get the cable to work (but my son just watched tv in the room so I didn’t even complain to anyone.) I wish there was a swiffer! I’m used to carpet so on the linoleum I felt like I swept everyday and still constantly had to rinse my feet. So a swiffer with a couple pads would have helped.
I totally understand inflation right now but I looked into renting it for next year and noticed the price jump which was disheartening. While I loved the view Kihei was on the opposite side of the island and we had a 35 minute drive everyday for our different excursions we signed up for so the price and drive combined are something I’ll have to think about.
But if you are staying around your room great choice, food trucks, a great bakery, swap meet all within a mile. Also Maui burgers!! So good!
Also I was so worried when I saw the bug disclaimer in the rental agreement and I didn’t see so much as a fly!

We stayed here for our "Babymoon" and it was perfect for us two. The place was clean and the kitchen was stocked with all the essentials. The location was great, just a few minutes drive from Paia Fish Market and Kehei Cafe and some great beaches.
The check-in process was super easy. When we drove up the parking spot was on a whiteboard and getting into the actual condo was exactly as described.
The view was probably the greatest thing. Perfect sunsets right from our balcony.

The renting process was easy to navigate. The condo was clean but I wish the bed was king size and have better support. My back started hurting after the 3rd night. Even though it said that parking is only for small and medium size cars, there were some large SUVs and made it difficult to park. We had some dings on the car from people hitting it getting out of their own cars.
