Coming from Big island with my family of 6 it was the perfect stay all around. Location and comfort was on point. A/C king size beds and a full kitchen, couldn’t ask for any better. The best part was being able to walk to the beach straight from your patio. Definitely will be looking forward to staying again.

We were thrilled with the location of this condo! And thank you to the owners for all they put into updating it. The kitchen appliances and amenities were beyond belief!! The location on this beautiful park land and beach was everything we could hope for. Oh, and the sunsets right outside our door!! We left just a few suggestions on the sheet at the condo, including the need for hangers in the closets, and some of the windows wouldn't crank open properly. If I make it back to Maui I would definitely stay here again!

The place was clean and comfy with beach supplies and other amenities provided. The pool was great. The ocean is literally a two second walk which is great in the morning and evening for watching the sun. The kitchen was well stocked with kitchen ware. Overall a great stay.

Enjoyed walking out onto the grass each morning without having to do steps/elevator! Right next to the pool. 2 minutes to Safeway, 5 minutes to the heart of Kihei on the quiet end of S.Kihei Road. Well equipped property. Enjoyed the two beds for two kids vs. them having to share a bed. AC was great!

We had a wonderful time staying here. The location is great as it is a ground floor unit with a large grassy park and the beach a short minute walk. Great spot to watch an amazing sunset on the back lawn. Perfect for bird watching in the morning.
The beach here is not the best for swimming or snorkeling as there are alot of rocks and broken corals in the water. Still a nice beach to sunbathe on.
The kitchen had an ant problem. Could not leave any food out or dishes in the sink for very long or the ants would take over. Called property management to ask about lack of laundry soap twice and never got a call back. There were 4 of us and only one towel per person so plan on doing laundry as there are no extra towels in the unit besides beach towels.
Overall great stay and would recommend.

The place was just as described. It was clean and having beach towels, chairs and the cooler was especially nice. The beach is close, view amazing. But the beach is rocky and not real swimmable. You can play in the sand and get wet but need shoes to walk out too far but honestly we only went to that beach the one time regardless too many other things to do! I saw several comments about bugs, but they must have resolved that no bug issues for us. I agree with the toilet paper issue. For 5 nights we had enough but would be nice to not worry about trying to buy stuff like that if you just needed one more roll. Overall we were very happy with our stay!

We had the amazing pleasure of staying in kihei for our maui trip and this place is perfect. It isn’t too far from Weilea, Lahaina, or the airport. This place allows you to feel more like a local than a tourist and has great spots to dine and turtles right on the beach! Would definitely stay again there rather then the other more touristy spots. They also did great with accommodating early check in.

Thank you for the nice experience. The location of the apartment is great. The apartment was clean and everything was very well prepared. The arrival and key handover worked great. The apartment is equipped with everything you need for your vacation. We felt very comfortable. From breakfast on your own terrace you can go directly to the beach, which is about 100 m away, or you can cool off in the pool next to the terrace. The kitchen has all the amenities you need for cooking. For a great day at the beach, everything you need is on site, whether it's a sun lounger or parasol. Thanks a lot for this.

The condo was very nice. We really liked the location. There is a park between the patio and the beach gives an unobstructed view of the islands.
Another feature is the use of louvered windows throughout. Once they are opened, the ocean breeze keeps the rooms cool.
The window opening mechanisms in all rooms but the living room are older though. All but the top window in the back bedroom work OK. It might need a new thumbscrew winder.

Below average compared to other Leinaala units(I've stayed in several other units on this property). Upon arrival I reported several issues only one was addressed.I also noticed ant traps in the kitchen and bath room. On the second day the building's annual ant control program was performed. During my stay, even after the professional treatment the ants remained. I found bird feathers and guana on top and in back of the refrigerator. Since several issues that I addressed on arrival were I were never adressed, the following items are cited for attention. Lanai screen was hard to open and close, front door foot stop doesn't stop, front door must be pushed hard to stop, several window screens don't seal well and let bugs in, no clock radios worked, and some windows would not open. The kitchen articles were good, especially the knives. I Was disappointed that rental management never responded to my initial obser vations and therefore never addressed the above items during my stay

Location was great, close to everything but a bit down from all the busyness. Very easy check-in and nice having an assigned parking stall as close parking is very limited there. Awesome having the pool, which was very well maintained. The place was really clean the one thing I would note is the dishwasher didn't clean the dishes very well. It seems the dishwasher needs a good cleaning. It was great having AC in the big bedroom. The second bedroom definitely needs it as well. There were fans but all they really did was push the hot air around. I thought it was odd there wasn't any cupboard space for our food. Not a big deal I just I like to have everything put away behind closed doors. We just put our stuff on top of the fridge and microwave. It was really great having they beach chairs and a sun umbrella (loved the style of umbrella because it actually stayed in the ground which is hard to find one that does). My really big issue with the place is the "starter pack". When I go on holidays I don't want to think about running out of toilet paper, paper towel or dishwasher tabs. It really baffles me, do they really think I'm going to overuse or take any extra toilet paper rolls. If you must have a set limit of what you provide then I feel you need to take into consideration length of stay (ex: 3 days vs 10 day stay) and stock accordingly. Overall would highly recommend this place!

We have enjoyed our stay. Only thing first day when we checked in we felt like some kind of smell in the property, but next day when we opened windows fresh air, we were okay. This condo is the corner unit on the bottom floor. It was absolutely perfect for our family! The kids were able to run around outside on the huge grass area while we sat on the lanai. We spent most of the week at the beach, which was just past the grassy area outside our condo. The interior was also great, with plenty of space for our family of 4. Could also sleep more comfortably. Everything was in good working order, clean, and necessities were provided. There were even beach/pool toys, towels, chairs, etc to use while we were there. The property was in a great location, close to the beach (which was our priority) and also close to a supermarket, restaurants, and stores. We were able to use DoorDash which was very convenient.The check-in, parking, and check-out processes were simple and efficient.Thank you to the owners! We would love to come back to this condo in the future!

I almost vowed to never use VRBO again after a total rip off in Newport. We booked this because there is a professional management company running it. What a great find! No drama, we all had access to the unit when we needed with a code, check in and check out was as agreed.

The location of this condo is amazing. There is a public park in between the condo and the beach which makes for a nice place to play and walk while also being right on the beach. It is also a great place to watch the sunset.
As other reviewers have reflected, the condo is not new. It appears there is new flooring in the the bedrooms and living area. It does still need some deep cleaning especially in the bathroom. We did see ant traps/bait around the condo but had minimal encounters with ants. Also, the couch that appears in the pictures is not the couch in the actual unit. There is a couch which has 3 seats and a chair nearby. For our family of 4 adults, we felt that the condo needed another chair or loveseat to accommodate all of us comfortably in the living area.
For the price and the location during the holiday season, I would not hesitate to come back to this condo.

The good: The condo is in a great location with a great view. Walking distance to the beach! Bottom, corner unit with nice size patio (if you can get to it). The bad: Ants were found throughout the condo. There were ants baits in the kitchen which means it was a known problem. Ant baits did not help reducing the ants and it was a constant battle trying to get rid of the them. Even the clothes iron, had ants coming out of water reservoir. Decided against using it as I didn’t want them coming out and spreading all over my clothes. They were even in the closet! The sliding door security latch was broken, and as a temporary solution a makeshift latch was created. Problem with this was that is was very difficult to secure the door using it. It caused the door to be misaligned with a significant gap between the sliding door and wall. Had to have two people help secure the door, to try to latch it closed. This was such a hassle that we avoided opening the sliding door which is a shame because we didn’t get to enjoy the patio as much as we wanted because if this. Furthermore, received a call from management asking whether a “repair company” could enter the condo to measure the door (not repair). I felt I was at home, not on vacation having to deal with the management company make arrangements for people to enter the condo to look at a malfunctioning door. There is no safe in the room so I was uncomfortably leaving valuables behind but felt pressured into allowing it. Since I had already made reservations and could not be there at the scheduled “repair window” the management company did say that someone from their office would be present so that I didn’t have to be there. Lastly, the condo could use some deep cleaning, Its overall clean but did have some stains on a couple of walls in the bathroom/bedroom, built up of dust on corners, and kitchen appliances.

We liked the unit. Loved that it was ground floor and you couldWalk out across the nice lawn right onto the beach. Sunset views fabulous. Unit was clean and well stocked. We appreciated all the beach chairs and things for going to beach. Unit is a bit old but very clean and the whole condo complex is tidy and very well kept and the couple who are onsite are very helpful. It’s air conditioned for those who like that. It was quiet and enjoyable. I’d stay there again.

Based on a review from a guest in December last year, I asked about some concerns that the guest had about the condo. I was told they would be addressed prior to my arrival. Sad to say they were not. There is a huge trip hazard at the slider door that is in the floor, and can be repaired if they wanted to. The slider would not close easily (until I found some WD40 to use myself) The AC units were not as effective as I have had elsewhere. The table top fans available were so dusty they didn't put out much air, and when they did, there was a horrible noise (until I broke out the WD40 again!) There was hair in the bath tub, the faucet in the tub is set to shower only (don't advertise a tub/shower combo if you can't use both.) There was a toy from a previous guest (and a lot of dust bunnies) under the pullout couch. We were approached by a local police officer patrolling the beach in front of the condo telling us not to go in, as it is a haven for tiger sharks. We understand the ocean, but to have someone tell us this wasn't a good beach for families (we have kids) made us quite upset that we now had to drive somewhere to go to a beach. Overall we enjoyed Maui, but the condo is NOT one I would recommend to anyone!I am in the Hotel Industry and this is not how I would allow my rooms to be sold.

The condo Is in a nice location, unobstructed views of the ocean, nice green area as you step out the back door, it was wonderful having coffee every morning on the patio.
When it comes to the actual condo, it’s far from great it needs updating. The floor as you walk out the back door is dammeged (it has a wave that we kept tripping on), the door is old school and difficult to lock. The furniture has a layer of oiliness on (like if you haven’t washed a pair of jeans in a very long time), the sheets on the pull out sofa had a line of rust. The dishwasher does not work, the air conditioner in the bigger bedroom smells like urine when you turn it on. The pillows felt like bricks. For what they charged I had higher expectations are higher so I don’t recommend renting this place. If people keep renting in this condition they have no reason to change anything.

Waking up to the sounds of the ocean every morning, having coffee on the lani, long walks along the beach, family fun in the sun. This condo had it all. Beautiful park, pool and the ocean right out the door. This condo was perfect for our family. Bill the manager was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed snorkeling, an 8 line zipline tour, road to Hana, and of course the beach. Restaurants in Kehei were we ate were Big Daddy's BBQ, Kihei Cafe. We also found the Thai Me Up, and Likie Poke food trucks by the airport a great place to eat.The building is a little older but don't let that stop you from staying at the Leinaala Oceanfront #105. You will be glad that you did.
