Clean, comfortable, cozy. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen well stocked with utensils. The view is awesome! There is a small window air conditioner. We didn’t even try it. Jalousie windows throughout are not known for their insulation properties. How ever we didn’t feel air conditioning was needed. With the windows open you get a really good wind tunnel effect through the apartment that cools it off pretty well. The beach equipment was really great. Chairs, coolers and umbrella. Even noodles and toys for kids. All in all we really enjoyed our stay.

We loved the quiet, clean property and especially loved the lanai facing the the park and water! Out on the lanai each day we started with coffee enjoying the beautiful view, and park activities. The sunsets from the lanai were so colorful and beautiful!!!

My husband and I stayed for a week at the beginning of Sept. and we enjoyed every second of it. We like that the complex is smaller and quieter. The beach feels like it's your own private beach with how quiet it is. The condo is well equipped, clean and had everything we needed. The view is absolutely perfect to watch the sunset each night on the patio. We cannot wait to return!

Excellent location, and quick access to a beautiful part of the beach. We loved watching the sea turtles. The condo was clean and had everything we needed. The window unit A/C will not cool the entire condo, only the main living space. The bedrooms do have ceiling fans and additional fans are provided but it was still very warm at night. We made due. I’m sure there is a trick to getting the air to flow through the condo by using the fans and opening the louvered windows (to avoid the A/C use) but we never could get it to cool down any that way. Overall we were still really happy with the condo.

Our stay was great. We are frequent guests at Leinaala. The property is great and the views magnificent. And your company is very professional and easy to work with. If you could get a suggestion to the owners...the window screens, especially in the bedrooms need repair/replacing. Most of the fasteners to hold the screens in place are broken so the screens are not secured to the widow frames. Plus two of the screens have holes. There was a rather large **** roach in one of the bedrooms which could have entered the condo through the unsecured screens.

Great condo with an amazing view. Had everything you need to cook and chairs and beach toys for a day at the beach. Beautiful furnishings and finishes. Comfy beds and all windows open so you can get the tradewinds blowing through just right. Nice TV that was easy to operate!

The property was wonderful and in a great location. We had no problems other than an area-wide power outage just as we arrived that made the elevator inoperable. The property manager carried some of our light up the four floors for we could get settled on the unit. This was well beyond what we expected and was greatly appreciated.

My wife and I had a lovely stay in this condo. It was clean, had all of the amenities we cared about, and had a terrific view from the balcony. The A/C unit in the living/dining area went unused as the temps were fine. As noted by others, no A/C in the bedrooms which may be an issue in the summer.We only used the main bedroom with the king bed, it is firm which we like and we slept well. The shower was fine, the kitchen and living area were also just fine. The couch is comfortable. Plenty of kitchenware should you wish to cook, but only a few staples for your use (oil, salt, etc.). There are beach chairs/umbrella, ice chests, which we used and were in good condition.There are many places to eat and shop within a couple of mile radius.Good communication with Rentals Maui staff, easy to reach. Onsite manager was friendly and helpful.There are community pickleball courts nearby so be aware you'll hear that starting at 8am. Didn't bother us too much.We will stay here again next time we visit Maui.

We could not have asked for a more perfect location! The sunset views alone are priceless! The condo was clean, kitchen was well stocked, beach towels, chairs, pool noodle and a cooler were all available for use. Everyone we encountered were very friendly. We had one hiccup with reserved parking one day, but that was quickly fixed. The location was perfect for all of our island adventures. We can't wait to go back!!

Loved the location on the island, with so many spots on the island being easily within driving distance. Sunsets from the balcony can't be beat. Really no complaints at all about the unit, though snorkeling stuff for more than just two of us would have been great.

We chose Leinaala condo because it's situated in North Kihei and is only 24 units. We hate big complex and we found this place just perfect for us. It's a very quiet place perfect for families. We chose a unit at the fourth floor for the view. That was a good decision. From the lanai, we had an unobstruted view on the Pacific, the mountains and the unbelievable sunsets.The unit is well equipped with all you need for a family of four. Both bedroom have ceiling and tower fans. With open windows, we disn't even had to use the AC. The kitchen is well equipped with new appliance and all the ustensil we needed to prepare dinner.We definitly recommend this unit.

Our family enjoyed our stay in this condo. You can tell the owners have put a lot of thought and intentionality to keeping the space clean and updated throughout, including things like beach chairs, an umbrella, and even a cooler - we really appreciated that. I would agree with the other reviewers who have said that the bedrooms get quite hot and stuffy by the end of the day, though. Fans are provided, but especially in the master bedroom the floor fan was noisy and would randomly turn off in the middle of the night. We had friends who stayed in Wailea and they had AC throughout the condo and we were a bit jealous...
The location itself was convenient to grocery stores and restaurants, but Kihei wasn't really the cute "beach town" I was hoping for on this trip (although great beginner surfing was just down the street at The Cove). I didn't know better before I booked, though, and this is of course a matter of preference. Would probably stay in Lahaina if we came back again, but that has nothing to do with the condo. :)

This 4th floor property enjoys amazing views of the Maui west coast, with easy access to the beach. The ocean sounds lulled us to sleep each night. There is a rich sward of grass between the on-site pool and the beach proper, which adds to the pleasant views. Other owners/visitors were very friendly, The location is great, providing easy access not only to the Kihei area, but also to Wailea, where we enjoyed an early, fabulous Mother's Day dinner at the Four Seasons. The condo was well-stocked, including snorkeling gear. The only confusion was we thought the unit included a washer/dryer (we may have been wrong about that). This was not a problem. We heartily recommend this destination. We have wonderful photos and memories.

The place was great! The location was perfect and sunsets from the balcony were amazing! Only downsides were the beds weren’t that comfy, unless you like a REALLY firm bed. The rooms don’t have AC, there is a ceiling fan in each of the rooms and a tower fan in the master bedroom, but even with those on and the windows open it did get a little toasty for us at night, especially the guest room. And lastly if you have little ones, they will most likely struggle to reach the faucets. My 5yr old could not reach any sink faucet independently and she’s tall for her age. I wouldn’t 100% recommend the place if you have little ones but it is do able.

We very much enjoyed our stay at this property. We are a family of four, including 13 and 15 year old girls. Views from the deck were lovely - able to watch the whales. Sandy beach to walk on morning and evenings where we say turtles. It was so nice to have beach chairs, towels, umbrella and cooler available for use. Kitchen was well equipped with everything you would need. Loved being off the road and away from traffic noise. Grocery story, farmers market, and bakery all nearby. A small complex made for a quiet one which we appreciated. Very much enjoyed being in Kihie - easy access to other locations across the island. We would most certainly rent again.

We had a fun time in Maui and having a nicely stocked, clean place to stay was amazing. The beach chairs, umbrella and even the stand up fans really made it feel like home. One of the only places I found that had two twin beds in the second bedroom which was perfect for my kids. The only thing I would add is a step stool in the bathroom so kids can reach the sink.

We booked this condo for the view, and it did not disappoint! The condo was spacious and spotless. The beds were average, and yes - there is only AC in the living room (the norm for Maui condos) but there are plenty of fans and windows, we did not have issues sleeping. The condo is a short drive, or around 15 minute walk to restaurants and shopping. We very much enjoyed our stay!

This place has amazing views. We watched the sunset from the patio almost every night we weren’t out somewhere. Great grass and beach for walking. On the last night we discovered if you walk out to the beach and head left you can see big sea turtles coming onto the beach! We saw about 7 or 8 that night!
The place was sufficient other than the following.
THERE IS NO CALIFORNIA KING, master bedroom had a queen size bed at best?! Listing is lying.
The AC in living room does nothing anywhere but the living room. If the forecast is hot you WILL be hot while sleeping, ceiling fans and standing fans are not enough for avg mainlander.
The patio sliding door has a mind of its own and decides not to close all the way some/most of the time, it needs attention as there is nothing obvious to the eye preventing it, but we spent half our stay with it not able to close fully, I’m sure we’re not the first.
When we arrived there was pepper but no salt. No coffee filters for the machine but they did have Folgers single packets… no sugar, and one toilet paper roll for an 8 day stay.
There is no laundry in unit, only machines to use within the complex, and no where to buy detergent on site. I think it was one of the prerequisites I specified in searching for places, but there’s nothing stating in house laundry on listing, so that’s on me I guess, just know that’s the situation. Outside of the bed and ac all the issues were minimal, but where they could have supplied what is like $2 worth of supplies that I expect at a vrbo, instead i had to make another trip to store and spend 30$ worth on bigger than a week sized essentials we shouldn’t have to. We left filters, salt/pepper and sugar so if you stay you should be good!
Would for sure stay again if I knew all things mentioned were addressed.

With the beach only steps away I went for daily morning walks. Kihei has everything from restaurants, markets, shopping, and pretty central to various towns. This rental has a nice setup with a kitchen and all amenities needed. Nice and quiet. It also has a grass area to sit and soak in the sun and views on.

Clean place. Quiet. In front of the building is grass area for those that don’t like the sand. After the grass area is the beach. Bring water shoes as some areas have pebbles. Beautiful sunsets. The condo had all that we needed and more. The only thing was the parking is very narrow. Everything else was excellent. Close by to markets, shopping and restaurants.

What an incredible Family Holiday we had at this wonderful location. Spectacular sunsets. Very quiet, peaceful and calm. Convenient parking (small/midsized cars fit well.) Less than a mile from shopping, a huge variety of excellent restaurants, Food Trucks, Shaved Iced, Desserts, Safeway, CVS and 2 ABC Stores. Just Heaven in conveniences! Very close to all the most popular beaches, some with lifeguards, others excellent for snorkeling, surfing and boogie boarding. We quickly learned the safety mantra...”When in Doubt, Don’t Go Out.” Waves can have unpredictable mega power, so we all had PFD1 Life Vests for an extra layer of safety. Our condo had a beach umbrella, plenty of beach chairs, snorkel gear, beach towels and a cooler. Very cool to have these provided!The condo itself was immaculate, and had every cooking appliance or utensils one would need to cook. Nice selection of spices, foil, plastic wrap, ziplock bags, and a lovely and plentiful assortment of dishes, cups, glasses, and hand towels. Excellent WiFi. Relaxing to catch up on a few movies, too!Both bedrooms were very comfortable, even in the heat, with tower fans and ceiling fans in each. Living/Dining Rooms had awesome air conditioning. Nice Lanai/Balcony with spectacular views of the ocean, mountains, and unbelievable sunsets! It was surreal to be able to have a choice to see nightly sunsets from the balcony or walk a minute or two to the beach with a beach chair and take long moments appreciating Life!Nice shower. Great water pressure and fast hot water. Plenty of bath towels. Starter supply of toiletries as indicated, so we also brought our own.Exceptional value for a two bedroom, incredibly located condo. A smaller condominium complex had excellent advantages! Less touristy. Uncrowned, and felt more like we were locals. Having a pool and being close to the beach (although the beach a little rocky for my liking).
Beach chairs and towels were available in the unit for us to use.
Location near grocery stores and restaurants.
Assigned parking, I didn't have to search for a stall late at night.
Could have been better:
The only AC unit in the living room window and being on the 4th floor in August was way too hot for not having AC in all the bedrooms. We tried leaving it on all day to cool the entire condo didn't help, either.

The condo complex is away from the main road in Kihei, so there is no road noise. Its west side faces a park. So no noise there either, and you see a great sunset every day. Neighbors are quiet and nice people. The only noisy neighbors are the birds. I think this company manages at least 5 condos in this complex.North Kihei's beaches are not as nice as south (cloudy water). But it's also a lot less crowded. Very few people swim at the park.This 2 bedroom condo is spacious and easily accommodate our family of 4.All parking spots are small. It'll be easier if you rent a midsize or smaller car.Looking at the pictures on their website, I thought the living furniture was old. Turned out they are in good shape. All appliances are also in good shape.There are some nice extras like lawn chairs, cooler, snorkeling sets, and beach towels.If this condo is available, and it's in your price range, it's a good rental.

The Condo was clean and homey. We did catch a little Whale activity from the balcony one evening. Enjoyed watching windsurfers as well. If you are warm natured- note that there is only 1 A/C and it is in the Living room at the back of the condo. That being said - we turned it on when we arrived- and it kept the main area cool enough. I took the front bedroom with the twin beds - with the windows open and both fans going- I was very comfortable. The middle bedroom could use another fan or a small window unit. LOVED the location and the views- Easy check in and out. Would stay here again.

As other mentioned the view is absolutely gorgeous. The place is clean and fairly modern. The condo complex itself is little dated, but this does not really impact your stay. Great location, 5-15min drive to great beaches (the beach next to the complex is not good for swimming). As shared with owners provided sizes and quantities of cosmetics, as well as toilet paper and paper towel are pretty small and will likely require you to buy or bring your own (this should be listed on the listing). To be clear, this is a very minor inconvenience which does not change overall great experience. Excellent value, highly recommended. Would definitely come back.

This is a great spot! The condo has an amazing view of the water and you’re only steps from a great beach. The location be great because it is not too far from anywhere and a lot of food options nearby. We enjoyed going to wailea and Lahaina each for a day to check out different beaches. We appreciated the beach chairs that we were able to use. Air conditioning in the main room was helpful and we kept the windows in the bedroom open at night to cool down.

The location was convenient and quiet, and kids enjoyed the lawn area out front and the beach for shelling. The complex is no frills on the outside, and all about the location, which was fine.The unit had ants when we arrived, not the way you want to start the trip. There were sprays and things under the sink so we put those to work and got things under control. The onsite managers were helpful and even gave our kids extra buckets to borrow. The unit was not quite as modern feeling as we expected and floors not as clean as we would have liked but overall it was an enjoyable stay. Provided beach towels, beach chairs, umbrellas, and basics were great. The balcony was great for soaking up the view, and being on the fourth/top floor was great, and quiet.
