The view is vast and beautiful and the Fleetwood glass doors along the front of the condo completely open your home to the ocean breezes and the breathtaking views.
They open up to the panoramic view of the bay (the best for whale watching) as well as Molokai and Lanai Islands. This 1100 square foot, open plan, non-smoking unit, has 2 bedrooms and 2 baths and a kitchen with all the appliances and beginning supplies a cook will need. The master bedroom has a king sized bed with ensuite and a private sitting garden area. The second bedroom, adjacent to the living room, has twin Murphy beds that disappear into the wall. A sliding wall will make this bedroom private at night, and during the day can be opened expanding your living area and views. If needed, there is a queen sized sofa/sleeper in the living room.
There is no need for air conditioning as every room has ceiling fans that whisk the cool ocean breezes throughout the condo. All the sliding doors safely lock open to keep those breezes flowing during the night. The free underground private parking keeps your car cool and ready for your daily adventures.
If Mother Nature has covered our beach with her water, (she will do that sometimes), there are 2 beaches within a 5 minute walk of the condo with the best one being to the South of the condo just past Sands of Kahana. Spend your day strolling, snorkelling, basking in the sun on the many golden sand beaches, surfing, golfing, boogie boarding, ziplining or shopping. Enjoy the famous snorkelling spots at Kapalua, Napili, and Honolua Bay all very close to Hololani. Surfing on both the south and west side of Maui offers gentle breaking waves, or if you are an expert (or just want to watch), visit the north shore, Hookipa, where you will be mesmerized by waves beyond your imagination.
Local markets offer fresh island fish and local produce for your home cooked meals. You may choose to cook inside or use one of the 3 gas barbecues set up along one end of the pool. A very short walk and no elevator to have to worry about if you forget something. If you prefer to dine out, there are many restaurants ranging from fast food to fine dining located a short walk from Hololani. The Kahana Gateway Centre, just across the road, houses Maui Brewing (great food and beer), a surf shop, a coffee shop, McDonalds, gas bar and a small corner store. You may want to venture a little further to the neighbouring resort areas of Lahaina, Kaanapali, Napili and Kapalua all within a 5-10 minute drive.
