This 3-bedroom, 3-bath oceanfront condo awaits your romantic island get-away or fun-filled family vacation. At 1640 square feet of indoor living space plus an additional 810 square feet of outdoor lanai space, this home allows you to bring the whole family without being on top of each other. Or bring two other couples and score a great value compared to renting 3 hotel rooms. Our condo is located on a corner as close to the ocean as you can get and the views from almost every room are simply amazing. If you have a good arm, you could throw a ball from the lanai into the ocean. And we are a 5-minute walk from two quiet beaches with some of the best snorkeling on Maui. Our home comfortably sleeps 6 with generous-sized rooms and high ceilings. Two bedrooms have king-size beds, ensuite bathrooms and doors that open out to a lanai. The unique corner primary bedroom has 2 patio doors that lead to different lanais. Imagine listening to the sounds of the ocean to lull you to sleep every night. You don't even have to get out of bed to enjoy the ocean view! The third bedroom has two single beds that can be made into a king-sized bed and a door to the 3rd bathroom. A queen-sleeper sofa makes up the rest of the accommodations. Central air-conditioning and a full sized washer and dryer are included as well as 3 televisions, (one with surround sound and Apple TV) a DVD player and Wi-Fi internet access to provide our guests with all of the comforts of home. The kitchen is stocked with most gear a gourmet cook needs and has a dishwasher and full-sized refrigerator/freezer so you can dine-in with views better than most restaurants.

Watch both the ocean and TV from the L-shaped couch in the great room or have a family meal at the 6-seat dining table. Sample the vistas from each of the lounge chairs on the lanai and try to decide which one has the best view. It's a tough life but someone has to live it! Even the kitchen has an ocean view so if you decide not to dine out, you can watch the waves while you cook. Or you can fire up the barbecue and eat on the lanai while looking for turtles and whales.

A remodel was completed in November 2018. Luxury amenities include: Bosch appliances, beautiful quartzite countertops, new air-conditioner, commercial-grade washer/dryer and all new flooring. Updates also include custom-stained bamboo cabinets and a shower that overlooks the Pacific Ocean. The two king-sized beds are outfitted with luxurious new Vispring mattresses. Decorator touches abound, including all new furniture. And we have replaced the sliding doors with doors that have a 10' wide opening on the front lanai. The new color palette consists of soothing neutral tones with textured grass wallpaper in the great room and master bedroom. All details have been thoughtfully considered to meet the requirements of the sophisticated traveler.

You will be so happy here that you might not want to leave! But if you do venture out, it is a short walk to 2 wonderful beaches and several more are a short drive away. The cove in front of our beach is so awesome that people pay to be brought here but all you have to do is put on your flippers and swim on over. We have beach chairs, towels, an umbrella and cooler, boogie boards and sand toys for your use and you can rent kayaks and snorkel gear near by.

Makena Surf is a low-density condo complex with only 105 luxury units. We are located about 5 minutes south of Wailea and across the street from a great golf course. Wailea is home to award-winning restaurants, world-class golf courses and excellent shopping. Makena Surf has two swimming pools, 2 hot tubs, 4 tennis courts, an exercise room, herb garden, 24 hour security and free parking.

The island of Maui has everything you want to do on your Hawaii vacation, including waterfalls, bamboo forests, luaus, kayaking, SUP and hiking. At Makena Surf, your vacation can be as high energy or laid-back as you want.

Note: Please contact Susan before making a booking for June 2023. The Homeowners Association is planning on painting the building but as of May 2022, we don't know exactly when. When we know, I will block those dates.

We are on the third floor and there is no elevator.
