The property is located at the Diamond Head end of Waikiki.Safeway store is located on Kapahulu just a mile away from the condo. Down to Earth Natural Foods on King street was a close drive too. As advertised we were able to walk across the street and be in Kapiolani Park. Near the zoo and the aquarium and a short walk to Kaimana Beach which was our go to beach. It was really good to be able to take a walk and get to the beach without driving. Mahalo Gina

Gina is an excellent host with great communication. The unit is clean and adorable, and surprisingly well stocked: salt, pepper, olive oil, condiments, hot plate, rice cooker, beach chairs, beach umbrella, beach towels, sunscreen, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion and even nail polish remover. Would definitely recommend! Surfboard lockers were a bonus.

I am not a guy who complains a lot. Location was good, host was good and good communication with her, neighborhood was good, property manager and tenants were good. There was just one thing I should pay attention to and that is washer and dryer. Nobody's fault from mentioning above, just third party, who installed paying units on w/d. I had a problem to wash my clothes day before we were leaving, because the paying units were not working. Ended up to wash it by hands in my bathtub. Next day, before our flight back, the maintenance guy helped me out and was able to turn the dryer on, so all was good. I will certainly return to this place and to this host.

Wow, great property and super location! Where do I start...comfy bed and pillows, AC unit kept us cool, a kitchenette to cook just about anything you like, beach chairs & umbrella, beach towels, snorkel gear, 2 sizes of coolers and much more. A stocked medicine cabinet to help with anything you forgot aloe gel if you get too much sun. The building and parking is secured so no worries. Only a half block from the beach makes nightly sunset viewing easy. I would be remiss if I didn't say the room was small, but who spends that much time in any room while visiting Hawaii! It was perfect for us!

Perfect spot for us as we planned to spend as little time as possible indoors. All amenities were clean, and enough more for what we expected/needed. Included parking is 100% worth it too! Loved that it was walking distance to everything in Waikiki, yet quiet at night. Check-in/check-out were very easy too. Mahalo!

We stayed at Tradewinds Plaza last year and had such a positive experience, we decided to book there again and it did not disappoint! We visit Oahu often and have stayed in many different hotels and condos throughout the years. We appreciate that this is a secure building, with a designated parking space. The condo is stocked with beach chairs, towels, umbrella, cooler, boogie boards, snorkels, literally everything needed to enjoy playing at the beach, which is just a short block away. The kitchen is also stocked with everything needed to cook full meals and has a full-size fridge. There is no view of the ocean and there can be some late night and early morning street noise, but the benefits of this location outweigh any negatives. We highly recommend this condo.

We were greeted warmly by Tina and she explained everything we needed to get in and out of the property. We lived in Hawaii for a few years so I knew how valuable a place with a parking spot is and it was perfect. Literally a block away from the Waikiki strip. We walked literally one block to watch the sunset every night. The apartment is super cozy and has everything you need for a beach stay. We didn’t need to buy any gear, it’s fully stocked with goggles, boogie boards, beach chairs, umbrella, towels and much more! The kitchen has everything you need and she leaves you some yummy treats to welcome you. 5 stars all the way. I love the beach vibe of the room and the bed was super comfortable! We will definitely be back!!

This is an excellent property if you plan on getting a car, if you'd like to be within 1 block of the beach, and if you plan on spending most of your time exploring - and the rates are good. Comfortable and clean unit. Enough amenities and equipment in the unit which is nice. The shower pressure is good, the sinks all drain rapidly. The ac unit does the job! Kitchenette is stocked. I did not have to use the laundry facilities but i heard there is something on property. Very quiet and conveniently located on the east side of the building on a higher floor. I will definitely try to stay here again.

Finding an affordable place to stay in Waikiki is a challenge. This place not only met my financial requirements, it was clean, cheerful, and well-stocked (including a portable cooktop, electric tea kettle, wine glasses, picnic gear, beach chairs, boogie boards, and beach towels), the host was communicative, and the location is excellent. I only rented a car for a few days of my stay, but the assigned parking spot was included and easy to access. I would definitely consider staying here again.

It was exactly what we were looking for: good, safe location away from Waikiki traffic, easy to get in and out of area, still walking distance to Waikiki attractions and great parking space. It is not overly spacious, it is between two hostels, and the shower is a little tight. For us, these things were irrelevant, but if you pay attention to the description of the property, you will not be disappointed. Thank you Gina and Tina for a great stay. We will try to get this place again the next time we go to Honolulu.

The apartment is small but has everything you need. The location is great. The beach is only 2 blocks away and there are plenty of shops and restaurants in walking distance. The freeparking spot is a big bonus. We met the housekeeper on arrival. She was very helpful and the place was spotless.

We spend a month or more on Oahu every year and this was one of the best experiences we've had. We love the location near the zoo and just a block from the beach. We appreciated having beach equipment available to use, including coolers, beach towels & chairs, boogie boards, umbrellas, just everything we needed to enjoy time at the beach during our stay. Also, having a designated secure parking spot included gave us peace of mind. Nice secure building with a fully equipped kitchen so that we could cook our own meals. We have stayed in fancier, more expensive places with great views that we didn't enjoy as much as our time here. We highly recommend this VRBO unit!

A very convenient location small room that appears to be a former hotel room. The location is noisy from an adjacent hostel and early morning garbage and delivery truck "beepers". The best feature is the assigned parking space included. Security is very good and controlled with your key & fob. Three of four blinds did not work preventing darkening the room and privacy views from the adjacent hotel.

Gina is a fantastic host and very communicative. The place is a pretty small studio, but well stocked and equipped with everything one would need for a Hawaii vacation (and more). It is a legal vacation rental (big deal in Hawaii), and best of all is the assigned, covered, and secure parking spot which is hard to come by in Waikiki. I would stay at her place again! Thanks for a great time!

The apartment was clean and well stocked, it’s in a great location where you can walk to so many restaurants, shops, and the beach! Communication from the moment we booked was fast, check-in was a breeze. The building and parking is super secure, you need to scan the key fob for every entry including the elevator. The building itself is very quiet. Not having to worry about parking was a HUGE bonus.
We will definitely be staying here again!

location was great just one block (if u wanna call it that) from the beach. Room was great had everything I needed fridge ,microwave ,dishes ect. everything just like home. It's about as big as a hotel room but in a good way. Building was secured and parking was available which was a huge plus. Building and parking garage can only be accessed with a security card so no one who doesn't belong can not get in.I give this place a A+++ especially for couple's

We loved our stay here. The location is great. It’s close to the zoo and kinda at the end of the strip but still within walking distance to everything. The condo is a bit outdated but very well maintained. I loved that the floor was clean and not sticky at all. We didn’t use any appliances but it seemed like Gina provided a lot of stuffs that you would need like coffee machine, Kcup, microwave,... The only problem was that we could hear a lot of noises from the street even with our windows closed. It was pretty lound, so it bothered us a bit at night and early in the morning when we tried to sleep. Gina was very responsive and kind. We definitely will stay here again whenever we are in Oahu

The room gave us a great starting spot for all of our Hawaiian adventures. It’s nothing fancy and there is really no view, but why would you want to stay in your room when your are a two minute walk from the beach? It was clean and had everything we needed. Gina was great to work with and was kind enough to afford us a late checkout as we flew out late.
The free parking was a lifesaver.

The property was an efficiency size apartment, perfect for our needs, located within walking distance of the beach, eating establishments, ABC stores (which have a little of everything), and entertainment for those interested. Expect noise due the the location close to the beach. The property manager was out of town for family reasons and not available for check-in, but the property owner was quick to help remedy this. She allowed us to stay an extra 2 hours to finish a tour on the day of check-out. Very friendly & accommodating to our needs.

This was our first time using VRBO & everything went well. The studio met our needs. I was glad that we rented a car & our studio had a safe parking slot; this was the selling point that led me to choose this site. On the negative side, it was sad to see the higher number of homeless persons with m.h. disorders. Now we head to the North Shore for the second half of our vacation. Thanks VRBO!

This is not a quiet property as it is listed between two hostels. Parties almost every night! The blinds in the room do not work and allow neighbors to peer directly into the room, which is almost completely lit up during the night because of the hostel and street lights. The windows are paper thin and you’ll hear everything. The host was unresponsive at the end of our trip - not even a “mahalo for staying!” The AC works pretty well and she has nice beach equipment for you, but this place is not as advertised.

Everything about the stay was great. The proximity to all attractions was close. Great food nearby as well as shopping areas and scooter rentals. Anything needed if you wanted to cook some meals yourself was available in the condo. The location was fairly quiet. Gina was happy to accommodate us with a shower bench for my disabled partner. If we ever come back I will definitely stay here again.

Gina was great to work with and her listing is spot-on to what you can expect when you arrive. Very quiet building, maybe a 4 minute walk to the beach; ready access to restaurants and ABC stores for essentials. I was able to get there and around to my desired destinations super-conveniently and cheaply using "thebus", Oahu public transit.

What a great place to stay for my first trip to Hawaii. Very clean and so much extra stuff included such as coffee, water in the fridge, bath supplies, cleaning supplies etc. The WiFi was perfect as well as the cable TV. Having your own parking space was a huge plus. Communication was excellent. Everyone in the building was very friendly as well as the people in the neighborhood. There was always something happening in the neighborhood at night but being very respectful it was always over at or before 10 PM. The location is close to everything. Hoping to return one day in the near future and I will certainly inquire if this place is available. Thank you so much for an amazing stay.

Gina was very responsive and easy to work with! I cannot say enough about how great a host she was in communicating and providing for us. We were very happy to have snorkeling flippers and beach supplies in the closet and used much of it liberally during our time there. The property was pretty much as described. A couple of small things weren't great -- a set of blinds was broken, the shower was a little small, and the bed felt a little lopsided, but nothing big enough to sour our stay. The location cannot be beat, and having a designated parking spot was priceless! Thanks, Gina, for a great place to stay.

We were very happy with our choice to stay here. Communicating with Gina was clear and easy. The condo was accurately described and had everything we needed. If you have a car, the assigned parking space is extremely important when staying in Waikiki. The only thing I can complain about is myself. I missed the part that described the mattress as a pillowtop. I prefer a firm mattress and this was like sleeping on a giant pillow. There was a little bit of street noise but that was trivial compared to other places I've stayed in Waikiki.
