So Thankful! REVIEW COMMENTS: Wow!! That about sums it up! I can honestly say I've never had a better host than Steve. He checked in periodically to make sure everything was good. Not only that, but after we left, I discovered I left my Kindle behind. I contacted Steve, who was out of the country at that time, and he immediately reached out to his manager to help. He stayed in contact with me until my Kindle was on the way back to me free of charge! As far as his penthouse... what would you expect from the host I just described! Yup... immaculate! Clean, clean, clean- comfy beds, perfect size living area for our family of four and a beautiful view as well... Diamond Head during the day and a beautiful sunset at night! And, we never had to wait for the elevator. Thank you Steve for your hospitality... you're the best by far!

The area is very convenient without being in the craziness of Waikiki. Very clean and well maintained. Check in was super easy and the host was always available. Will definitely recommend to my friends when the come to visit. The only down side was the pool was closed for repairs but ocean isnt that far way.

There was sand on the floor
The mattress needs an elastic sheet because the one used keeps coming off and making me touch the disgusting mattress cover that had lots of stains on it.
I wish there was an extra blanket and a nightstand to put our phone, water or anything we could use laying on the bed.
There are no closet or dresser to put clothes away, we had to keep our stuff in the luggage.
The bathroom distance a rug, making it unsafe when we get out of the tub.
The bathtub is very slippery and did not have a mat to help with it.
The pool was closed all the days we stayed there.
We stayed 9 days and there was only one bath, hand and face towel for each person.

A perfect place to stay for our family of 4! Great location that's just outside of the craziness of Waikiki. A well-stocked kitchen, as well as a cabinet full of beach items to use. But the star of the show is the view that wraps around the corner, so you can see the canal and the ocean at the same time. We would definitely stay here again.

Very good, basic accommodation. Great view of the city, and within walking distance of the beach. Two comments about the hotel: 1) the day front desk woman is unfriendly, brusk, unhelpful, and has poor communication skills. 2) great food and service at The Creme Pot, but apparently they are pioneering a new way of squeezing money from clients - a mandatory 20 percent service charge! We thought at first that it referred to a tip, and now tips for them are mandatory, so we didn't leave a tip for the server. Looking at the receipt later, we discovered otherwise. Will never eat there again because management is dishonest with their pricing.

I was a little disappointed with how the property was maintained. There were a lot of scuffs on the wall and a couple of unpatched holes in the wall, and although this did not affect our vacation, it was just kind of disappointing. The outlet in the kitchenette did not work for us. The shower is short. If you are over 6 feet like my husband, you will have to duck in order to shower. Also, there were a pair of black socks in the box in the closet (presumably from a prior renter). The bed was sagging in one of the corners - it seems to not fit the bed frame properly. Also, two things I know were not in the control of the property manager: (1) the elevators were very slow and took a long time to get to our floor, and (2) the hallways were very stuffy. The positives were the walkability to the shops, and the AC that worked really well.

I booked this property because it said that parking was included. Lo and behold, if you don’t book far enough in advance, there is no parking available. This should be explicitly stated in the booking. I had to find my own parking. As you know in downtown Waikiki, it’s sparse and expensive. The toiletries were watered down. I left an item at the property, but could only get it late the next day. I was leaving the island early the next morning. If I had been informed when the housekeeper found it, I easily could have returned. Or if they had been available any time at all after I messaged at 4 pm, I could have gotten it that afternoon before I left early the next day. I was simply given the housekeepers phone number and told to coordinate with them. Of course, the housekeeper charged a fee to mail it back to me. The property was clean and in a good location. There was nothing extra. It’s a basic accommodation. Don’t expect customer service.

Very good option for a stay. About the same quality if not slightly below hotel quality but definetly for sure above motel quality for room and furniture. However what really puts this place above its pay grade for price that makes it a bargain is the amenities. Full kitchen with bits and pieces others have left behind or left by host. Fridge, freezer, toaster oven, utensils, even oil and salt and pepper for those who don’t want to eat out every meal. Also there’s raised pool on the fifth floor with two hot tubs and lots of luxury feeling seating with a barbeque patio that you’re free to use. Throw in its easy walking distance to major attractions and Waikiki beach and you’re set. The condo is located in a hotel, but you retrieve the keys from a lockbox, which I actually prefer as there’s far less hassle. Other guests/host left behind other kind items including goggles, a board, a beach chair, and beach umbrella, and some other stuff you could use as opposed to renting. Definelty reccomend it for anyone who’s on a budget but still wants some luxury feel.

This was a lovely trip. The property is near shopping, food (including the coolest little diner ever- Rock Island), and access to one of the best beaches. My family of 7 enjoyed the property and amenities the entire length of our stay. If ever on the island again, I know where we are staying.

Overall our stay was good! Beds were comfortable, loved having 2 bathrooms with shower, and a washer and dryer, the entire place was mostly clean. The TV in the living room was broken, the beige couch was fairly dirty, and the blinds needed some new panels but overall everything else was great. I think a couch cover for the couches, fixing the living room TV, and putting new blinds panels is all I would say they need to update. It’s was close to the beach, there was a food truck village just across the street, and lots of shops and food near by. Pool was fun and had easy access. There was a little shop on the lobby floor if you forgot anything (like laundry detergent). Accessing the key cards was simple. We would stay here again.

My husband compared the unit to a college students cheap apartment with bare minimal amenities. You can tell everything that is in the unit is the cheapest available and an attempt to cut corners. Here are just some examples of what it was like staying in the unit:- Unit has a shared entry with next door unit and makes it extremely difficult to move luggage and belongings through the entry way. - Picture fell from wall onto table due to typical noise from next door unit- Instead of replacing the microwave over the stove (which we’re assuming is broken) added a counter top microwave to an already small counter top space and now there is zero space- If you’re over 5 foot / you can’t use the shower without sitting or back bending due to the comically small shower/tub area- Shower only has one curtain liner that is too long for the shower and causes it to block the drain when in use. - One of the chairs had a broken/loose leg- Not a full set of serving ware or plates - there was only one spoon which we had to share when eating breakfast I guess for the price it may be “decent” for the area but I would recommend spending the extra money and staying somewhere else.

Badly in need of TLC. Laminate flooring, table, baseboards, dresser all swelled from water. “Sofa” badly stained. I (6ft) cold not stand in most of the shower as my head would touch the ceiling, and the shower head was even lower. Oven did not work-waiting for part…? A/C loud and aimed directly at bed. Listing says parking was 25/24hrs, nope try 50! 45 if u book multiple days. Decent area, nice 10 minute walk to the beach/food/shopping.

This place was in a great location. We were in the middle of shopping, the beach, and we had tons of wood options which was great! Condo itself was pretty clean and it had most of the things we needed for our stay. The host provided detailed check in instructions, making the check in process super easy. The unit was dusty, the drapes were dirty, and there was a termite-infested chair. The bottom dresser drawer is broken, and the aerator is missing from the faucet. I texted the owner about the unsatisfactory cleanliness, but there was no response. After I committed a houserule violation to which i paid the fine for on the spot. The owner started to text me about my checkout plans. 6 separate times in 2 days i was asked when I was going to checkout and then checkout procedure

Kitchenette is quite small. Although there are appliances to use to cook with, finding a place to plug them in is challenging. The sink is also difficult to use to wash plates & electric skillet.
