My fiancée and I came to Maui, with our 19 and 21 year old kids, to get married. This was the perfect place to stay! We had a stunning view of the ocean and park and they were just steps away from our unit. Perfect place to watch the sunset on the beach.
Our unit had everything we needed, from the kitchen to the bathrooms to the beach towels and chairs.
Air conditioning in the bedrooms kept us cool at night. If we were home during the day, we kept the lanai doors and front door open (screen closed) which created a nice little breeze through the unit.
We were within walking distance to stores, restaurants, beaches, boat launch, nail salons, and coffee shops.
The property manager was super nice. When she found out we got married, she brought us a bottle of wine! The grounds were also immaculate. We saw the manager out every day ensuring the bbq area, pool and parking lots were kept clean.
We will definitely stay in this unit again. We plan to come back every year. Thank you for a great vacation.

Our group consisted of four friends so we needed a 2 bedroom/2 bath condo. The location and condo itself were nice, but we had a lot of issues with the bathrooms, especially the shower situation. We had one shower that was never more than lukewarm…it was impossible to wash your hair in there unless you could handle shivering. One shower did get hot water more often, but it seemed hit or miss. It was pretty awful and ruined our vacation to an extent. There was no “quick shower” after beach day to go out for dinner. Instead, we had to plan way ahead and hope the water cooperated. We had to basically use one shower only. Could have just saved money on a condo with one bathroom. Very frustrating. I reported this to the manager on day 2 (we realized it was an issue that morning, but were on Hana trip so couldn’t communicate) and got a response back saying “it’s how it’s supposed to work”-something to do with the solar set up. I’d stay there again only if they fix this issue and gave us $500 credit for our next stay.

Beautiful property with all the amenities that were promised! We enjoyed watching the sunset from the lanai and the kids had so much fun in the pool which was so conveniently located right outside the lanai. The beach was just steps away across the street and I was even able to find a nice quiet spot to do morning yoga right on the beach. The beds were all very comfortable and suited our children just perfectly. Everything we did was convenient with a short 20 min drive to/from. The building was always peaceful and quiet, never loud with parties. The only complaint we had was with the parking spaces, they were tight but that's not within the control of the hosts. We cooked out on the outdoor grill most every night and when yhe grills were out of propane we used the oven which was exceptionally clean. The bathrooms were immaculate and updated nicely. The snorkel gear, coolers, umbrella, and beach chairs were much appreciated. We had a few hiccups with starting the washer and dryer but was not at all an inconvenience nut nice to have stocked with laundry soap so that we were able to wash towels as needed. Check in and check out were very easy and being on the first floor right next to the unloading zone was also very convenient! All in all, we would highly recommend this condo and host to any family of up to 5-6 people, it was just the right size and stocked with everything needed for a long stay. 😀

When you arrive, you might want to open up every door and cupboard… Including those under the TV unit to see all of the kitchen equipment that is available for you. Having said that, there is not 1 single kitchen cupboard empty for you to put your own groceries. You are left with the very limited counter space for groceries. Limited counterspace, because there are more gadgets on the counter. I suggest the owners or management company, edit the number of gadgets and create cupboard space for people who would like somewhere to store their non-refrigerator groceries.
The condo is thoughtfully stocked with a toothbrush and toothpaste, disposable, razors, and Native shampoo, body wash, etc. On the balcony, you will find a storage unit filled with beach chairs, boogie boards, extra snorkel, masks, coolers, etc.
The condo’s community pool is heated and fabulous! I read reviews mentioning the terrible former grounds manager, but the current manager is fantastic and friendly! I met several condo owners at the pool, and they were all so friendly and helpful with tons of advice for making our trip extra special!
The condo has AC units in the bedrooms, but the family room & kitchen gets incredibly hot! If you use the kitchen, it just adds to heat! The ceiling fans barely work. This area needs an AC unit too. We had a great trip, but b/c of this (even in the cooler season) we will not stay here again.

First, the showers ROCK. A good shower is such a sweet luxury after a day in the sun. This unit in particular is so perfect. Ground level so no waiting for elevators. Walk straight off the lanai to the pool. Plus this unit looks out to the pool instead of the parking lot👌.
This location is just steps from Kamaole 3 beach and within walking distance of our favorite eating places. Coconuts, Cafe O’lei, and the Cinnamon Roll Shop.
No AC was no problem as there are so many fans to use and with the windows open you can create quite the draft and cool off the whole place quite quickly.
Check in and entry were simple and easy.
This is a super kid friendly area. We were blown away by the kindness from everyone we interacted with. So grateful we chose to try this place, and were able to stay in the most perfect beach paradise.

The only downside is that there is NO AC in the common areas, so the place is HOT in the daytime. We love Maui Parkshore. Yes there is a busy road in between you and an awesome kid/family/swim/ snorkel/boogie board/sunset FRIENDLY beach. Huge lawn area with great swings too!. They have made it MUCH SAFER to cross the road by putting in blinking lights(all down KiHei road)This units lanai is awesome and the owners have provided all the chairs and boards and beach towels you need for a day at the beach. We cooked dinner every night at the communal BBQ and played shuffleboard while it cooked. A great time!!!! even saw an electric bike parade one night( it was Aloha Festival Week)

The location can't be beat -- steps across from the beach for some stunning sunsets, and a nice cross-breeze in the evenings. Overall acceptable finishes, decently clean, and comfortable beds.
As a first floor unit with the Lanai door open half the day, you expect a couple of bugs to make their way in from time to time. What we didn't expect was ants in the kitchen, that seem to live within the very old cabinets and tile countertops. There were traps in every drawer, which means this is a known issue, but it was annoying (also didn't like the idea of whatever chemicals are in the traps being on the silverware/dishes) and we had to keep all unsealed food in the fridge to keep it under control. Even then they would still be wandering around on the countertop.
This was a work trip, and we had people rotating in every couple of weeks during a 2-month period. It was fine, it served its purpose, but hopefully the owners deal with the ants soon.

Kitchen equipment was good, not so much plates and so on, but enough.

We were very pleased with everything! The location and ease of parking were especially good. In the unit, the laundry and all other appliances were new and in top shape. We had everything we needed. The bath towels were also new and fluffy (even nicer than some hotels).
Would definitely go back! Highly recommend for families with young children. No partying or loud guests. We felt very safe.
Finally, property management was very helpful onsite! All common facilities were clean, well-kept and very pleasant.

First I would like to say, Thank you to all the staff at Rentals Maui Inc.Every time I called during business hours someone answered and was very happy to assist.Upon arrival we had a bed that was not comfortable at all and they sent out a maintenance man out within an hour. Also a very professional gentleman who went to pick up parts to repair the bed frame the proper way. He would not even except a tip. He said the company pays him well.Next the Maui Parkshore condo was incredible. The grounds were 5 Star.I would like to say the on site Manager must not sleep.Every morning she is not just cleaning, but scrubbing all the pool furniture, railings, pool deck, outside shower, and bathrooms. Not just a water wash but with cleaners. I am in the Hospitality industry and stayed at some really nice places but never see housekeepers or management clean like I did this trip. She was everywhere. Even picking up micro trash in the parking lots. Even the bbq grills were cleaned every day. Can’t say enough good things about this trip. Perfect location. Easy walk to the beach. A few shops and restaurants within walking distance. Rental was very clean and well kept. Everything needed for a week stay included in the rental. Nice appliances and furniture. Beach toys for the kids. Quiet building. Overall good value. There were two negatives to consider. 1) The unit gets very warm. The AC functions fine in both bedrooms. But the main living area can be very uncomfortable in the middle of the day. 2) Rental includes parking but I would suggest renting a small car as the spaces are unusually small. There is very little room to park within the space provided. I had to let passengers out prior to pulling into the space and then crawl out myself once parked. And that is if someone is not in your assigned space. That happened three times in the week stay. A bit annoying when the only other option is street parking and a bit of a walk. Two things to consider if renting. But I would consider renting again.

Overall the property was as advertised except for some unforseen circumstances during our stay. The property owner had the swimming pool and barbecue area going through a refurbishment during our stay and we couldn't use it. But the manager compensated us with a refund. Secondly, the owner lent the unit out to a family affected by the fire and the place was left a mess which required extensive cleaning. Because of that we couldn't check in at our promised time and had to wait. Those were the only negatives. Everything else was excellent and as advertised.

Very clean place right across the street from a beautiful beach which was perfect for boogie boarding as well as snorkeling. We also saw many turtles swimming right by us. Beds were comfortable and my adult son even said the pullout couch was pretty comfortable, which was not expected. The Lanai was amazing! It directly faces the beach and had plenty of chairs along with a dining table where we spent almost all our time when at the condo.
The host was very easy to deal with and replied to any questions right away.

We loved our stay at Maui Parkshore. It was clean and comfortable and made for a fantastic home away from home. We appreciated the extra towels for the beach/pool and small cooler for day trips. The laundry (with detergent!) was also very appreciated and easy to use. The beds were comfy and rooms were quiet (well, except for the birds when we left the windows open lol). The lanai is quite large and was a great spot to relax and people watch. The best part was that we just had to cross the street and we were at Kam 3! We could even see the ocean close enough to know if it was calm or a little rougher before we went, and listening to the lifeguards from the lanai was quite entertaining. It’s an easy walk from the condo to Fred’s for breakfast, too! We met lots of wonderful vacationers at the pool and had a wonderful time. We have stayed in Kihei a few times before, and we look forward to staying at Maui Parkshore again in the future. Thanks George!

Stayed there with 3 other adults and we absolutely loved it! The place was clean and well furnished (loads of kitchen supplies, appliances, ect). We definitely used the beach equipment (chairs, umbrella, buggy boards, towels) as well as the cooler during our beach days.
It would definitely get hot at night without any AC, but we were there during the hottest days and every room had a good fan which saved us. There is also a good breeze that would go through the unit as it's on the top floor.
We loved the location and view from the balcony out towards the ocean. It was amazing getting to sit on the large balcony and eat supper while watching the sunset every evening. Having our own parking is always a plus and we seemed to be located in a really nice neighbourhood.
Last point, Marian was amazing at providing us all the necessary information which made our check in check out process really simple!
All in all, would go back in a heart beat 💓

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this condo. The location is perfect with sunset views out of the lanai and pretty good location to reach all of the island for further exploration. The condo is well equipped with everything you need for cooking and laundry as well as beach supplies, which we greatly appreciated as we did not need to bring or rent a boogie board (we brought our own snorkeling equipment).
The condo only has fans, no AC, so be aware of that if you go during the hot months, it becomes really warm during the nights despite fans.
The pool of the apartment complex is wonderful and was a nice temperature to cool off a bit without freezing (we went in July). The pool was never too crowded and we met some nice other condo owners that were very friendly.
The only issue we had is cockroaches in the kitchen and we needed to spray ourselves against them since the pest control treatment in the apartment is done on a schedule only. We were told that this is not untypical for Maui though that did not help us much.

This was our first visit to Maui. The location was awesome. We explored all of the island but are happy our “home” for the week was in Kihei. Plenty of restaurants and beaches close. Kamaole Beach access just steps away. Everything was perfect. The ocean breeze kept the living room cool. A/C unit in bedroom kept sleeping comfortable.

My family loved that I found such a nice place to stay on our first trip to Hawaii. Clean, quiet and right across the street from the beach. Walked to dinner and shops. Two miles from awesome snorkeling. Very well set up with everything we could want for our stay. Thank you!

We loved being in Kihei-walking distance to so many great shops and restaurants and right across the street from the most beautiful beach. The condo was spacious with plenty of room for my husband, my two kids (13 and 8) and me. The owners left so many great things to make the stay easy and comfortable-coolers, beach chairs, boogie board, iron, cleaning products-they thought of it all! The washer and dryer in unit are also a huge bonus on a beach vacation. The property is starting to show its age, and while we were there in July, it was hot! We learned that keeping the bedroom doors closed all day allowed the air conditioners to work better and keeping the screen door to the lanai open and the front screen door kept air circulating. The owners also provided many fans to keep it comfortable. This isn’t a luxury property, but for the price it can’t be beat. I would stay here again.

Location of condo was good. Had a lot of issues with water in condo unit. Showers were very difficult as the water would stop for several minutes into it. Due to new appliances and not being installed correctly or installed and created damage to pipes we had no cold water for at least half of the stay. The no a/c made it very difficult to sleep or do anything in the condo with the heat. I understand maintenance needs to be done. But was very inconvenient to have so many water issues along with pest control which required us to be out of the unit for at least half the day and were unable To sleep in. We were on vacation and weren’t planning on walking up prior to 8am as that was no need for us too. The amount of money we spent was not worth the stay.

Great location. Beds were very comfortable and we had everything needed to do some cooking. Beware there is no AC and so condo can get warm at times, but unit had lots of fans. I would stay here again.

Good value for money condo, with a nice location oposite the beach.
The A/C situation is unfortunately quite poor. One portable A/C unit in each of the bed rooms (although one locked up during our stay) makes for noisy sleeping conditions with very inefficient cooling of the room.
The westward facing living/dining area is a nice place, but has no A/C, and tend to get wery warm during afternoons, even when trying to utilice the available balcony screen and airing through with open doors in both ends of the condo.

We were a group of 3 adults and 3 children. We fit very comfortably in this condo. The kitchen had a great amount of space for making dinners.
More than anything though was the AMAZING view we had of the ocean. Both bedrooms had air conditioning which helped with sleeping at night.

The property and location is perfect. I wanted to take away a star but the new until we had to move to due to these issues was wonderful.
To start, this unit is right across from the beach and next to the pool, walking distance to stores, gift shops, convenient stores and restaurants. It was convenient because we were bottom floor so we were able to walk right off the back porch area to go places. The down side is it is right by the property manager office and elevators so people were always waking by.
The issue we had, we needed up having a water leak 2 days into our stay. The first morning we woke up to water down the hallway, using towels to mop it up and calling the property manager, then the listing agent to get it looked at. They thought it was another unit causing issues and thought it to be fixed. At this point we are constantly washing towels to keep up with the water. The next day we came back from being gone and there was water down the hallway, so we called again and they sent a plumber that said it was actually our unit with the leak. We were told they would try and find us another unit that was like ours, by late that day they had found us a unit and we moved. We were offered an extra late check out for our dealings with the water.

I have stayed in Kihei 10+ times and this is the best condo we've had. Great location with ocean views and a huge lanai, comfortable beds, and already stocked with everything you might need, from spices to super glue to beach gear. This would be my first choice next time I'm on Maui.

The Vacation in Maui was successful. We loved being right across the street from the beach and having the pool right below. We also could walk to restaurants and watch sunsets from the patio. We met other nice folks visiting the area and would return if we are fortunate enough to be in Mau again. The managers for the unit and building were great as we had a few random questions. Checking in and out was a breeze. We already miss it!

Lived up to our expectations for a great vrbo stay. Very close to multiple beaches and a wide variety of restaurants and food trucks. The Maui parkshore community is very clean with a very good swimming pool. The unit is clean and remodeled but could use new cooking utensils and mattresses. The host was very responsive and took care of anything issues however small. The window ac units made the evenings comfortable for us. They're loud but no different than other window units. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to stay there again in future. I recommend getting a small to mid sized car because the parking spots are a bit smaller and it's easy to get boxed by adjacent vehicles.

Condo was tidy, very well equipped kitchen, two spacious bedrooms, well stocked with extra towels, bedding, kitchen towels. Check in was so easy. We made ourselves at home. This condo is right across the street from the best beach! Would rent again. They accommodated a last minute booking of an extra night which was a very smooth process. It’s an older condo, so expect a little age in the cupboards, but it’s well taken care of.

The unit itself is great - great location, comfy beds, comfy seating, all the kitchen supplies you need. However, the unit is infested with small roaches. I mostly noticed the roaches in the kitchen and both bathrooms, although there were one or two in the bedrooms and living room. The kitchen is covered in roaches at night with several dozens of them scattered all about. We had to put all of our food, including bags of chips and other shelf stable items, in the fridge to prevent roaches from crawling all over them. We cleaned up after ourselves, washed all the dishes, took out the trash every evening, but the roaches were still present.
I contacted the property owner about the roaches twice - once on the phone and once via the app. He apologized and said he has the unit sprayed for pests every few months. He said he would contact the property manager to see if they would come out again but I never heard back. So, we ended up just having to deal with the roaches for the week we were here. My kids were pretty grossed out by it. It definitely put a bit of a damper on our trip. Luckily, the roaches mostly come out at night. I've stayed at many different condos in Maui and have never had an experience like this one. If you're grossed out by bugs, you might wanna try a different place.
To end on a positive note, the place is so convenient to shopping, beaches, and restaurants. The beds and seating were very comfy. The property is also nice.

The location was perfect and the property was nice. The pool closed a little earlier than desired but not a big deal. Only real issue is the trash room shares an adjacent wall with the kitchen in the unit we stayed in which has created a serious pest control issue

This is a great place. Has a nice pool, walking distance to the beach (they provide towels, chairs and other items for the beach) and restaurant's. We liked the fact that the bedrooms had AC because it does get warm inside the condo since it is on the 4th floor and the sun sets right on the condo but there is a nice shade to help with the sun. Only negative is that the living room fortunate is not functional for families. Overall, great location and we will be staying there again.
