This place is an absolute steal. Everything about it is perfect and the room comes equipped with everything you need. I saw a few older reviews mentioning the room was outdated but please know they clearly updated it since then. It felt clean, modern and there’s a balcony! The only thing you must be aware of going in is that it’s NOISY. You are in the middle of the city so there will always be street noise day and night. As long as you’re okay with that, you will have a fabulous stay

Marine Surf was a great place to stay for exploring Waikiki and Honolulu. There are lots of nice restaurants and food trailers in walking distance. The condo was updated and had all we needed for making breakfast and sandwiches in the kitchenette. The included parking spot worked was a big selling point over other condos we looked at. Alii Beach Rentals clearly communicated all the rules and instructions and the mobile app made check in a breeze.

The place was spotless, modern, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen was a plus, and the location was excellent, and the parking is convenient. The TV worked, the communication and the check in was incredibly easy.
Cons:
A little loud at night, and the shower 1. not so much pressure, and the water wouldn't stay one temp. it kept fluctuating.

Nice restaurants are downstairs and they kindly gave me resident discount one day :)The property is big enough for 1 or 2, with pretty much everything you need, even dishwashing detergent and sponge!Some light bulbs need to be changed and hopefully the shower drain can be faster and screen door is there for lanai- there was a big bug inside one day... but those were not big things compared to the convenience you can enjoy!

Location allowed for ease of walking, you could skip the car rental if you do not want to explore the rest of the island. If you are a light sleeper please consider the street noise, it was not an issue for us and we were able to sleep.

The designated parking spot was so helpful as we spent long days checking out the entire island. You can hear the street and a local private venue with loud music at night, but that's pretty standard in any city setting. I would recommend staying here.

This condo was conveniently located in the heart of Waikiki. I arrived early and they were able to accommodate me with early check-in, which I really appreciated. The unit was as advertised and looked exactly like the photos. The only negatives were 1) the bathtub drained really slowly and 2) I couldn't figure out how to get the cable to work (not a big deal since I didn't come to Hawaii to watch TV). Overall, I enjoyed my stay!

Check in was very easy and straight forward. I appreciated the detailed instructions. Parking was very easy. The location was great. We were able to walk to most places. The condo itself was not the best. They did have kitchen supplies but they didn’t even have the basic seasonings. Not ever salt and pepper. Never stayed in an Airbnb without the basics. That was super inconvenient but whatever. The sheets were clean which was good but a couple of the towels has little stain and hair. The bathroom door is nasty. I wish I can attach pictures. Seems like it’s never been wiped down. The door around the handle was basically black because of the dirt. Same thing with the entry door. Everything else was ok. Also the description states that in order to do laundry we would have to load a laundry card that is provided. Well that was not the case. We had to buy the laundry card for $5 and then load it. $5 is not a huge deal, I just didn’t like the false information.

The laundry room was easy to access and because there is a unit on every floor, I never had to wait. The best part was location, location, location. Walking distance from shopping, food, drinks, and the beach. Love the security feature of getting in and out of the parking structure, elevators, and condo. I will definitely stay here again the next time I’m in Oahu.

It was my first visit since September 2018, and it had been renovated and was beautiful.It was nice that the toilet in the master bedroom had also been replaced with a washlet.Having a washer and dryer in the room is very convenient.Although the room was on the top floor, there seemed to be no one staying in the other rooms on the same floor, so it was very quiet.Unfortunately, at night, you can hear the loud live music from the ground from the window, and you can only think of it as noise.Other than that, there were no problems at all, and I would recommend this room to everyone.

The property was great. There was some damage (walls of the bathroom) and dirt (especially the vents) but overall this property was located in a great place. We were able to walk a lot and get to the beach in just a few minutes. Close to restaurants and shops (the expensive shops- the touristy shops). There's a great gift shop just below the condo which was great selection and prices. McDonald's for coffee was just below the condo.
They don't provide a lot of things to stay there. For example, to wash dishes, we had one towel for drying. But the kitchen had all the dishes you needed to cook if you wanted to.
The beds had minimal blankets and no spares. The beds are so-so comfy. I liked that my kids got their own beds.
The view on the lanai was breathtaking, seeing both ocean and mountains. The doors to the lanai were very difficult to open, which is good if you have children but you need to put in some effort to open them.
They had a washer/dryer which was so helpful as we didn't pack clothes for every day. There is only 1 couch.
Now, the biggest concern, I paid a deposit. I asked them the day after I checked out when I would receive it back. They said 5 days. A few days after that, they said 14 days but would do it manually for me as an exception (around day 10) It's been 13 days since we left and the refund for the $300 deposit is still not received. (We left Nov 5 and today is Nov 18)

Owners gave great instructions to the property. Everything was easy to follow. The place was neat and really clean which made it a great stay overall. I was grateful for the parking spot which is a plus 👍 I highly recommend this room if youre staying on Oahu for a few days. It has pretty much everything you need as well as far as amenities and its also in the heart of Waikiki.

Great location, and 21st floor balcony affords a nice view. The basement level of the parking garage is very difficult to maneuver in, though. Kitchen does not have a full stove - it's missing an oven, but otherwise well stocked. Bathroom vent duct had a ton of dust in it. Other than that, clean and comfortable room with a good bed, couch, AC, TV, etc.

The bed is heavenly which makes me gonna miss this place although i hated showering here since the bathtub is clogged up. Otherwise the whole stay was totally awesome for us. 3rd time at this property (different units each time). Location is the best feature. First time parking above 1st level and the driveway up is STEEP! Careful if you are driving anything larger than a compact car.The mattress needs to be replaced, too soft and is warped due to aging/quality. Lack of lighting where you need it, I've never had this experience but there should be better lighting in the bathroom above sink, in the area by the closet/mirror outside bathroom, in the hallway as soon as you walk in. Can barely see yourself in the mirrors when getting ready. TV station selection not the greatest in this unit. Nothing is in real time, no sports, no realtime news, everything is streaming.I would stay in a different unit next year.

It was a block away from the Sheraton, where I was attending a conference. I could go back and forth almost as though I were staying at the conference hotel! Comfortable and convenient -- and though I didn't need it this time -- it has parking, too. Check in and out was simple, and Captain Cook staff was, as always, responsive and helpful. Stayed at this studio for 4 nights and we had a great stay. Having the free parking was very helpful. This studio is a walking distance to almost everything (beach, restaurants, shops, Musubi Cafe) which was also a plus. The only complaint my partner and I had was that the AC was a little loud but we were able to sleep through it. Traffic noise wasn’t bad either. We also really enjoyed the balcony area. The cleanliness of the studio and items was also good. James was very helpful and easily able to contact. We definitely want to come back to this same studio when we visit Hawaii again!

Location, location, location. The place is clean and comfortable. It is within an easy walk to everywhere. Food and dining is right there. No need for a car. Walk everywhere. Would stay here again.

Upon entrance to property PH4, corner wall had been very sloppily repaired. There were plaster pieces all over the floor and we had to clean them up. When we mentioned that to the property manager he said he knew about it.
Air vents full of dust and hair. Air conditioning that didn’t work in living room where Murphy bed was located. Very uncomfortable for sleeping.
Soap holder in second bath broken. Very small shower and no where to put your things.
Vanities in both bathrooms never updated and very low.
Shower door in master bath was off track and very dirty looking.
Outlets in living room were filthy and one on kitchen wall sloppily repaired.
Our unit was on the 23rd floor of the building. On the second night upon arriving back to the unit we were greeted by a HUGE cockroach on our door and couldn’t shoo it away. Needless to say, we weren’t sure how many were crawling around our unit.
The next morning (Thursday) we were having coffee and made plans for the day. When we went to take showers, all the water had been turned off with no notice to us. We called the property manager and did not get an answer. Then called Captain Cook and told her our problem. She contacted James Wickert our property manager who told us that indeed the water was off until about noon!! We could use the restrooms in the lobby (23 stories down) if we needed them. Our only option was to move out. I am very displeased and expect refund.

Too many cockroaches!!
I was looking for the place that I can cook during the stay, but there are too many cockroaches that I couldn’t even stand at kitchen. Of course the location is great, but I will not stay again here.

You're a block away from the International Marketplace, which means that you can just walk out and find great places to eat, walk to the beach in 8 minutes, shop, and even park your rental for free. The room is clean and well maintained and I enjoyed my time here. Check in and check out is super easy and James is very responsive.

My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary, and we enjoyed our stay here! Great location, as it’s close to Waikiki Beach. The parking spot has a height limit so not for large SUVs or trucks. Also, we wish there were a deadbolt lock on the door or a door chain. Overall, it was a great experience that was super easy to book and access.

Excellent location. 2 blocks from Waikiki
Beach. Walked to the beach every morning before breakfast for a swim in the ocean. Clean and comfortable. Check in and out was a breeze. We had an issue with our door lock afterhours. Lei Reality was able to take care of it quickly. We would stay here again.

I stayed here for about a week. Ultimately chose this rental because it came with a parking spot which made it a little cheaper then having to pay $40 per day at a different hotel. The ac unit releases a lot of water and the tray that’s used to catch the water is flimsy and cracked all over so it’s hard to empty the water like you’re asked to do without spilling dirty ac water that you have to clean up. I suggest that they change the tray out with a stronger one thats not broken, or better yet change the entire AC unit to one that doesn’t excrete so much water. Other than that it was fine. Location was good. 24 hour McDonald’s across the street was convenient and the security guard was super nice and helpful. Would I stay here again? Maybe, but might go somewhere else due to the AC issue even if it cost a little more.

We stayed for 5 nights and had a great experience. The parking spot was a huge bonus. I really enjoyed on how easy the instructions were to access and exit the unit. We really enjoyed our stay here. It is exactly like the photos on the listing.
