The condo was very well situated on the lower level in view of the ocean from the patio. Access to leaving the condo was very easy. The condo had everything we required from the kitchen to the beach stuff. The AC (all 3 bedrooms and living room) was very nice to have when required. Very clean and comfortable for my family’s. Tad and Kathy were very helpful and answered all our questions and addressed any concerns we had.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tad and Kathy’s condo and are grateful we found such an amazing unit on late notice after rebooking from our original West Maui accommodations! Views from the lanai are perfect, kitchen was well-stocked, and they provided everything we could possibly need, from a pack n play and booster seat for our kiddo, to extra pillows and everything necessary for a beach day. We had plenty of space for my parents, my husband and myself, and our toddler. Unit was immaculately clean upon arrival and check-in/communication were great. Pool and shared BBQ areas were fantastic. The only downside for us was traffic noise from S Kihei Road, but as another reviewer noted, that’s the price of being in the middle of the action. Will definitely consider staying again if we return to Kihei!

Great property.
Need the ventilation fan in master bedroom replaced, it never worked once. Also the tv in the bedroom closest to the main entry door doesn’t work either. Also the ice maker doesn’t make any ice. We made out very well otherwise. Awesome location. Would recommend to friends. Dan

We’re so glad we were able to find an accommodation after canceling our original reservation in West Maui. Made the best of our family vacation. This condo was perfect! Literally has everything a family needs for comfort and recreation fun. Kihei residents and businesses were friendly and welcoming.

Perfect location and very clean! The condo is very well equipped with everything that you need. The owners were very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend this condo! We had no issues at all with our stay. We loved the beach right across the street. The grounds at the condo were beautiful and very well maintained. We enjoyed grilling at the BBQ grills on the property grounds. They were very high end and clean! We will be booking another stay in the future for sure!

Our family enjoyed our stay at this unit. It’s the perfect location for walking to the beach, watching sunsets from the lanai, playing on the large grassy area, and so much more. The unit was fully equipped with everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again!

This Kihei property was 110% ready for our family adventure. Stocked with boogie boards, beach chairs, coolers, hair dryers- absolutely everything we needed was provided! The location was amazing - a big yard for the kids to run in, close to wonderful beaches, shave ice options, easy/kid friendly restaurants and a lovely pool. We had an issue that popped up and the owner Tad was quick and responsive with clear communication the whole way through. Would defo. recommend and stay again.

We loved staying here!. Location is awesome. It’s a quick walk to the beach across the street which is great for swimming. The pool at the condo is a close walk and very nice. Not too crowded. The condo has the most comfortable beds ever and is very nice! Tad is very responsive and attentive to needs if they came up. Highly recommend staying here! We enjoyed it.

This is a nice property for our family of 5. Ample room for all with a centralized location in Kihei. Owners have kitchen stocked with all the necessities... just bring your food. Easy stroll to the beach and park. We walked to dinner each night. The lanai is perfect for morning coffee; reading and visiting. We watched whales from it on one afternoon.
As this is a central location and close to everything; it is also on the busier side. This was not a detriment to our stay, but know that being in the middle of the action sacrifices some tranquility.
We found the dishwasher with a note that it was out of order. Handwashing dishes on vacation is a bummer. A small token to acknowledge this from management would have been appreciated, i.e. gift card for shave ice, etc. Nothing over the top, just something to acknowledge that it being out of order was less than ideal on a premium property.
Overall, I would recommend this property.

This worked out perfectly for my grandparents, my sister and my children. We loved sitting on the lania whale watching, playing ping-pong near the pool and riding the cruiser bikes we rented. All rooms were comfortable with AC. Kitchen worked well.
All star service by the host who accommodated our late check out. Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends

The location was great! One minute walk to the beach, walking distance from shops, short drive to Wailea and Kahului. Sitting out on the lanai was the best! The house was well equipped with everything you’ll need! Thank you Tad and Kamaole Sands!

This was hands down the very best VRBO experience we have ever had! The condo was positioned perfectly for running down to the beach and in walking distance to some great spots! I have never stayed in a more perfectly accommodating condo! The hosts make sure you truly have everything you could ever need! Lots of beach towels, a bucket full of boggie boards, snorkel gear, sand toys, lawn chairs, umbrellas, coolers, nice soft blankets, extra pillows, AC, every kitchen appliance or tool you could ever need, brand new washer and dryer, curling irons, hair dryers, great furniture, the list goes on and on! And it was so clean! The communication with the host was amazing as well! Check in was super easy! I literally cannot say enough great things!

Our family of 6 adults had a wonderful time at Tad & Kathy's Kamaole Sands Condo!! The check in process was very easy & quick and it was great to have 2 designated parking spaces right near the unit and also close to an exit gate. The unit worked perfectly for us as we were 2 couples and my daughter and her friend so the 3 bedrooms were just what we needed. The unit was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to cook meals. There is also an assortment of beach chairs, umbrellas, rolling wagon and big beach towels. The unit is located at the end of the building closest to the beach and is an easy short walk to the Kamaole III beach and lovely park area. It's also an easy walk to various places to eat, convenience stores and beach activities rental stores. Kihei is a beautiful area of the island and offers convenient access to beaches, shopping and dining and it's an easy drive to and from the airport. Tad & Kathy were very nice and easy to work with and were quick to answer any of our concerns and questions before and during our stay.

We visited the property with our three kids aged 18, 16 and 6. Location was very close to all sorts of restaurants and a variety of very nice beaches. Kamaole Sands is a large complex and Tad and Kathy’s unit is the closest one to the beach at the ground floor. There is a huge well manicured lawn that is accessible from the unit that the kids enjoyed running around on and playing with the wild chickens (they are all over Hawaii!).The Unit is well equipped with three amply sized bedrooms. There are many shared barbecue facilities that are well maintained and clean, and were always available even though the complex was pretty full when we were there. Kihei is fantastic with many beach options to choose from within a short walk or drive. Our favourite was Makena Beach which was a 10 minute drive away because it was the least crowded and the water was very clear and good for snorkelling, and varying conditions between big waves to ride and calm days for the 6 year old. The hosts communicated very promptly and there were no surprises- everything went great!

This property was even better than expected. Being an end unit gives you unobstructed views of the beach park and the ocean from inside the unit as well as the 2 lanais. On top of that, being on the ground floor gives you a huge lawn area that feels like your private grounds. The condo itself was great. With 3 bedrooms, it fit our family easily. the kitchen is updated and open to the living/ dining room. You get amazing ocean and sunset views from the kitchen and living room. There are flat screen tv's in all the bedrooms and plenty of closet space. They even supply coolers, beach chairs, umberellas, and boogie boards to use. The beach park (Kamaole 3) is right across the street. This is my favorite beach park because of the huge lawn area that everyone comes out to watch the sunset on. I can't wait to book this unit again. Aloha

Great location! Loved the view from the lanai, so relaxing can actually hear the waves crashing. Beach was so close and a lovely beach at that! Great chairs and beach toys to choose from. We loved staying here while visiting Kihei. The authentic Hawaiian decor is so fun. The hallway from front door to living room is very narrow and it was a bit of a squeeze with our stroller and children but we loved having the ground level lanai. Would recommend staying here!

We had a great time here. The condo was beautiful & clean, located right across the street from the beach and about a 2 min walk to the pool/spa located on the property. All the gear we needed was provided as well - beach chairs, umbrellas, body boards (and a wagon to roll it all down to the beach). The condo is also at the end of the complex facing the beach (the pictures we took from the patio were better than the ones in the listing!). I had some questions for Tad along the way and he was super responsive and helpful, which we definitely appreciated. We’ll stay here again next time we are in Maui!

This is great place to call home while enjoying Maui. It’s very comfortable, clean, and has all you would hope for (plus a few extras). The location is perfect for beach access, sunsets, and walkability to Kihei and Wailea. The rental process was easy/straightforward. Great communication with Tad. Already looking for a time to return next year!

We had a great stay at this property. The view off of the 2 decks cant be beat with direct view of the ocean just across the street. Some snorkel gear, boogie boards and plenty of good quality beach chairs, beach umbrellas and beach towels are provided which is very nice. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils, plates, glasses and coffee cups. Super clean and well maintained. Very comfortable just like home.
Although you likely wont have a need because of the endless beaches to enjoy, the pool area is nice with plenty of tables with umbrellas and chairs.
Tad was very responsive with any questions that we had. Definitely a 5 star recommendation for a great vacation!

We had a great time staying at Kamaole Sands -- it's perfectly located, with the beach and park across the road and a short walk from shops and restaurant. The flat was spacious (we were 4 adults and a 3 year old) and easily accessible -- awesome for a family vacation. The parking places are immediately outside the flat as well. Tad was easy to communicate with and promptly reached out to us when we had questions. Highly recommended!

We loved our stay! We had an age range from 71-10 and everyone was happy. Clean, comfy beds, individual air conditioners for the 3 bedrooms, an excellent view of Kam III ocean. We enjoyed the evening sunsets right from the lanai everyday.
The details were all well done, nice towels, excellent beach chairs, comfortable furniture in great shape within the condo. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking, just bring your own spices.
We highly recommend this condo, the owner was proactive in communication and checking in was easy. 5 star experience!

Had a great time in a wonderful condo. Very clean, organized and everything you could possibly need. Beautifully decorated, no stairs or elevator needed. End unit close to the beach and an in your face ocean view. Walk to all the favorite restaurants, or see the postcard sunsets. Couldn’t ask for more. I recommend and will stay here again.
