This top-floor, Kihei holiday condo has a panoramic ocean view and sits up above popular Keawakapu Beach. Wake to the sounds of the ocean waves lapping at the sandy beach below. Then grab your coffee and step out on your private lanai to relax before your beautiful morning beach stroll. Rent a kayak and paddle out to view turtles and even humpback whales in the winter months. After working up an appetite, pop in and enjoy brunch oceanfront at the onsite restaurant before taking a much-deserved nap under the shade of the palm trees just steps away. Follow with an afternoon dip in the ocean including snorkeling just feet from turtles (stay a minimum of 10 feet away from the Honu) and tropical fish. Then close out the daylight by watching the sun drop into the Pacific from the shoreline of your Kihei vacation condo, or from your top-floor lanai while sipping your favorite beverage. Can you think of a more perfect day than this and all within moments of this Mana Kai rental!

If you wanted to end the night with a nice homemade dinner, the kitchen is fully stocked and ready for the home chef to whip up a meal fit for King Kamehameha himself. All appliances, cookware, service wares, and dishes are provided.

As you ready for bed, there are 2 options for sleeping quarters. The primary suite is ocean-facing and is set up as an “open concept” studio with the living areas and king bed open to each other. In this space, you can lie in bed and watch the moonlight reflect off the ocean as you drift asleep. Or you can click on your favorite TV show and watch until your eyes get heavy. A full bathroom with large vanity and tiled shower is just opposite the bed. The guest room also has ocean and mountain views facing West and is situated just off the entry hall. It has its own en-suite bathroom with tub/shower combo and offers 2 twin beds that can be converted comfortably into a King bed upon prior request. Both rooms and the living space each have their own ductless AC units. There is dining inside at the breakfast bar and dining al fresco at the table with seating for 4 on the lanai.

The resort atmosphere includes an oceanfront pool, two propane BBQs, onsite coin laundry facilities on each floor, free parking, fitness center, business center, activities center, and a general store.

The full dining restaurant on property will be closed for renovations until late 2024-early 2025. Renovations have been delayed. When they commence, there may be noise heard from 8 am-5 pm, Monday thru Friday. We do apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you and appreciate your understanding.

We always stay at the Mana Kai because we love the location but almost always in different condos. This unit did not disappoint. It was very clean, had everything we needed in the kitchen and we cook nearly every meal, and out teenage daughters loved the twin beds. We would stay here again.

Having the 808 Grocery downstairs along with on site rental for equipment makes it so convenient. The restaurant is under renovations and a much needed change. Unit 815 was well appointed with towels, kitchen supplies, clean and exactly as advertised. We unfortunately experienced AC issues that were mentioned in prior comments. It seems that the unit in the main room is not able to keep up. The bedroom unit worked great. All in all, highly recommend #815.

Overall good, disappointing that restaurant not in service. Condo feels a little warn, nice kitchen, big pull out cabinet feels like is going to fall out when used. Linens nice.

This is a fantastic spot for a vacation. We had a great time. The Room is beautiful and the view is amazing. Even the view from the second bedroom is really awesome. This particular unit gets extra points because the second bedroom has a great view and privacy. The rest of the units in this building the second bedroom window has foot traffic and can be blocked by the elevator/laundry area. The building is mostly very well kept. The laundry shares with the recycling/garbage chute so there were lots of roaches in there, not something we wanted near our laundry so we didn't make use of those facilities. The BBQ facilities are a bit of a headache as you have to reserve ahead of time. That's fine, but the front desk and the maintenance staff don't communicate that well. We and several other guests showed up to BBQ at 7PM one night, we had appointments, but the grills had already been shut down and cleaned for the night. That was a hassle, so do your cooking early. It's all very clean though and that's a big plus on Maui! There are a lot of roosters on property so if you like to sleep bring earplugs! If you are staying with another couple just be aware that there is zero privacy from the main bedroom to the kitchen area, Otherwise it's great and I would stay there again anytime. If you happen to be gluten free, most of the Gluten free options in Kihei are relatively close to this property. That said other than the cinnamon roll place, none of the gluten free options are that great, but there is a health foods store two blocks away with a lot of Gluten free items and the 808 general store/Deli down stairs had gluten free bread and some snacks. It's a very nice deli. The on property surf shop had better prices for rentals than the off property locations which was very convenient.

This is a top notch location. You can walk out of the back door if the property right onto the beach. The unit is spacious and the balcony view is beautiful. The property also has a equipment rental on the bottom floor for paddle boards, etc.

Awesome view place etc… only thing is the main bedroom is IN the room like a big studio- if someone in the other bedroom and got up to get coffee they are IN your bedroom… also when they say the AC works when patio doors are closed it is LITERAlL!!! There is a sensor that. Clicks off the AC if it is open more than a few. Minutes if if an inch open … ok but it is LITERAL!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful experience at the Mana Kai - the unit we stayed in was clean, updated, and had wonderful views. Top floor, end unit meant max privacy. Loved that it had beach towels and chairs. The location was absolutely perfect for beach access, but you will likely want a car or bike to get to restaurants, as it is a decently long walk to the closest one. Note that you can walk the beach the entire way to the Andaz and the start of the pathway that goes between the big Wailea resorts in about 15-20 min, which was a wonderful place to watch the sunset.Only nits were that the description stated the kitchen was fully stocked, but we didn't have any paper towels, olive oil or splenda/sugar in the unit for coffee. They did bring paper towels a couple days later, so I think that piece was an oversight. Just know, if you want to cook, you will need to provide everything other than cookware (also no tupperware or ziplocks/foil/etc.). I also would have loved, for $500+/night, better quality toilet paper.But those are all small things - overall we had a delightful stay and would definitely stay here again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I've been visiting Maui for over 20 years. The Mana Kai is one of my favorite places to stay. The crashing waves are the last thing you hear at night and the first thing you hear in the morning. The unobstructed view from this unit is stunning. Since this unit is on the top floor, the second bedroom also has an unobstructed ocean view unlike lower units that are partially blocked by the neighboring building. Since this is an end unit, there is no walkway outside the second bedroom window so you can leave the curtains open and enjoy the view. (Center units have a walkway and other guests have to walk past your window to get to their units.)This unit was clean and comfortable and beautiful. The kitchen is well stocked with nice quality pans and knives. I cooked dinner three nights and just sat on the lanai to enjoy the sunset.I will definitely seek out this unit next time I have a chance to stay at the Mana Kai.
