Rare ground floor 2 bedroom was a great choice for a family vacation that included a toddler. Bright, roomy and clean, Kamaole Sands is a wonderfully maintained property for families. The property manager is the best! Extremely responsive with great follow up. I’d recommend PMI Maui to any owner or renter.

We had a wonderful stay. The condo is in a great location convenient to all of Kihei. Within the development, it is set back from all the roads so generally very quiet. We took advantage of the pool and grills on the property which were a great asset. We were very thankful to have beach chairs, towels, umbrella and especially the wagon to haul things to the beach. I love a ground floor unit that you can walk right out of. This lanai is set back in farther from other making it very private nice landscaping around it.
Our son slept on the pull out sofa which wasn't very comfortable. But I guess that's the nature of sofa sleepers.

This is our third stay at Kamaole Sands and is by far our favorite unit. The two bedrooms is a must with a little one and the abundance in beach gear was a great surprise. I would highly recommend this unit for a small family - it is everything you need and more. We’ll definitely be coming back here when we visit next.

This is our second stay at Kamaole Sands through PMI and we wish we could book next year again if finances weren’t a limiting factor. Kamaole Sands is THE prime property in Kihei. We had several friends visiting (4 different families) at the same time as us and all of them commented how they wish they were at Kam Sands. The property ground is gorgeously maintained and proximity to the best beach in Kihei is a quick and safe 3 min walk. The condo itself is well-equipped with every kitchen appliance you could want, comfortable beds, and lovely decor. We’ve never used the TVs but they are big. Both trips we have stayed in building 5 in ground floor units that open onto a flat manicured lawn for our preschooler to safely play, mere steps to the pool, and with peek-a-boo views of the ocean. If you get up early in the morning when your neighbors are still asleep you can actually hear the surf break the shore from the lanai. With that said, even when your neighbors are awake it is unlikely you’ll hear them inside or outside the condo (from the two units we stayed in bldg 5). As for PMI Maui managing agency, they are professional and QUICK to respond to any concerns or questions. Last year I made a comment to them about how I prefer hotter water temperatures and within hours they had a plumber on site to crank up the water heater. This year our beach buggy broke so we opted for the pool. When we returned from the pool a short while later we found a brand new beach buggy waiting for us. When we travel to Hawaii we go as a three generation family of five ranging in age from 3-75 and everyone loves it. The amenities accommodate a wide range of interests and preferences. I would choose PMI in the future without hesitation.

We had a great vacation as a younger family (kids 3 and 5). The unit is clean and comes with all you need for a day at the beach (wagon, umbrella, beach chairs, towels etc). We nearly had a last minute flight cancellation due to weather back home and PMI was unbelievably accommodating. They responded to messages almost immediately and this was after hours. We had a backup plan in place within an hour. Would definitely re book.

Overall, unit was comfortable and enjoyed our stay. Location was great! Well equipped, although we still had to purchase additional paper towels and clorox wipes. Would have given 5-stars, however the master bathroom shower was dirty (mold, soap scum and grimy on the shower door/frame and floor)…but we cleaned it ourselves. Other than that..we enjoyed our 6-night stay!

Great condo. Nice size. Loved the big kitchen, which was well-equipped. Beach supplies came in very handy. Was missing the cooler. I called property management and they dropped off a brand new one the same day. Very responsive property management. Great customer service. Split a/c was great. It was hard to find a unit with it. We were happy to find this one. Close to pool and walking distance to a beach across the street. Pretty property. Very pleased. Would highly recommend, especially this particular unit. Very clean.

First time to Hawaii, 4 ppl aged 13-80. Thoroughly enjoyed the area, resort, beaches (not crowded here) and location. Property grounds are beautiful. Took advantage of pool and grill. 1 member of group went to the breakfast on the 1st day-it was informative, with no pressure to buy anything. Impressed by amenities provided in unit, such as dishwasher and laundry detergent, as well as some spices. I knew beach chairs were provided, but there were also 2 sports chairs -very useful for my mom, who can't sit so low to the ground.The only time I needed assistance from PMI during our rental was when a brush fire occurred and all roads were closed, causing the family to be separated for several hours (2 had hiked into Haleakala while 2 stayed at resort). This act of God could not be prevented, but my call was answered immediately, and with calm and reassuring assistance. (I needed the phone# to the unit, & directions around the fire). All questions about property asked prior to the rental were also answered quickly and satisfactorily.The lack of ac in master bed didn't bother us, the fan helped. The silverware didn't match, but I really could care less.I expect this was a 1 time trip to HI, but if I were to return, i would not hesitate to stay here again. Read the information provided. Everything is exactly as stated.Ground floor was nice, with very little noise from above (a couple times we heard a chair pulled across the floor, but nothing more- good soundproofing).Mahalo

Prime location to the pool, the beach and all other local amenities. The ground floor level and lanai are a bonus as well. The condo comes stocked with everything you could possibly need from kitchen tools, linens and water toys. We would choose this unit time and time again!

An awesome, clean, well equipped, ground floor condo with AC at a great price. PMI Maui was so helpful from start to finish. They loaned us high chairs and a crib, we’re super responsive, and even sent us our passports back when we left them in the room! Phew! This is our fifth trip to maui, and from experience I can say this is a gem of a find!

This condo was lates out well with split bedrooms and kitchen living in the middle. Kitchen had what we needed and nice to have extra water toys in the closet. Loved being across the street from the beach and the beautiful grounds, pool and hot tubs.

We loved this place. Had a great time and it was well stocked and clean.Our only complaint was the air in the master bedroom was terrible. It never cooled down enough to be really comfortable even leaving the door open to the living room.
