We enjoyed our visit. The location was great; lots of restaurants and shops plus beautiful beaches all within walking distance. We enjoyed the pool and gym area in addition to the beautifully maintained grounds. The condo could use a few small updates to spiff it up, but it was a nice functional space that worked well for our family. Having the master up in the loft, separated from the other bedroom provided a nice private feel. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony every morning watching the sun come up.

We loved this location. It made going to the beach so easy to just walk across the street. The pool was very family friendly and overall we really enjoyed our stay. Just a note that there is no A/C in the master bedroom area, extra fans were provided, but it was quite warm in there. We ended up sleeping in the kids room with the A/C so we could sleep more comfortably and had the kids sleep upstairs. There is a window A/C in the family area also. We used to live on island so we know how warm it gets and the trade winds, but from the listing I didn't notice that there wasn't going to be A/C in the master area. Not a big deal, just something to know. We'd definitely recommend this location and condo.

If you’re looking for a fantastic, clean, spacious, and accommodating place with an awesome view/ location- look no further! This home is simply the best! The owners have thought of everything and it was truly a home away from home during our stay. The owners are excellent with communication and the pool & grounds were lovely!

Needs to have a thorough cleaning, greasy dust on all the glass topped tables. Living room curtains were dirty and had brown stains. The entry way and kitchen rugs where very soiled, old and we’re tripping hazards.
Kitchen was not equipped as advertised. Drawers were not organized, it was hard to find what was needed due to having everything mixed together sharp knives mixed in with everything else.Not enough silverware, cracked coffee cups, pots and pans were scarce and in ill repair. Oil and spices left in the cupboards were out dated and sticky. Not enough kitchen towels.
Everything in the lanai storage area was unusable. Either very dirty or had turned to dust (Reed Matt’s turned to dust when touched. Tennis rackets we’re old with mold on the handles. Cooler was dirty and not cleanable. Crumpled up blow up toys covered in sand. Generally everything unusable. Lanai table was dirty appeared not to have cleaned for a very long time.

We had a great stay. The unit is just as described and was perfect for us and our two adult children. Most places have a single bed or twin beds in the second bedroom and this one has two full sized beds. Unit was spacious, clean and had most everything we needed. The partial ocean view from the patio is lovely and the property is so beautiful that just looking down on the greenery was relaxing. There are lots of good food spots within walking distance and the small beach across the street was a great place to swim and watch the sunset. Would definitely stay here again.

The unit was a great home away from home for the week. Lots of supplies, well stocked kitchen, and very comfortable beds. Nice big fans in each bedroom which helped the upper bedroom, as the A/C is in lower bedroom and living room. We needed some supplies and they were very responsive. We have been to Maui a few times and stayed at Kamaole Sands because it is a great property...from the location to the pool, BBQ areas and all the other amenities. Our stay at Fred and Sharon's condo did not disappoint. Sharon was very prompt with her communication (which is very important) and they provided an extensive information package about the condo, activities, restaurants, etc. I would highly recommend this property...hopefully we will back sooner than later. We loved renting this condo. It is just like it is advertised. The view from the room is beautiful, looking in to the grounds, overlooking the pool and peek a boo view of the beach. This condo resort is one of the nicest ones in Kihei. Quick walk to the beach too. It was the perfect size for my husband and I and 3 teenagers. The master bedroom had a nice cozy bed and the 2 beds in the 2nd bedroom are a nice size. We would definitely stay here again.

Sharon’s condo was perfect for us to explore all of Maui. Right off Kamaole Beach III where there is a great snorkeling spot on the north end rocks with lots of fish and we also saw turtles.
The condo itself was well stocked with everything you need. We cooked our Christmas meal there and it was great - but also lots of great restaurants near by (loved Izakaya Genge and also in the same Azeki plaza Nalu had great burgers and live music). Paia Fish Market is also great.
Kihei is a central location for trips to Road to Hana, Iao Monument, Up Country as well as west Maui and Lahaina. Shops at Wailea just minutes south had great free Polynesian dancing Tue and Thur afternoons. It was a whole hour and better quality than some of the Luau’s I have been to! Mekena Landings Beach was a really small nice local beach that we enjoyed as well.
Enjoyed the pool and hot tub at the condo as well and the staff were very friendly. Grounds were very well maintained.
Sharon was great to work with and was super nice to let’s us checkout later since we had a late afternoon flight. Highly recommended!

This condo is awesome! Great location! Check-in was very smooth and the place is exactly like it is in the pictures, also very clean. Everything we needed was close by. We ate dinner out on the lanai and enjoyed the breeze every day!
Kihei is the place to stay. Kamaole beach park iii is just across the street. Sharon and Fred are fantastic hosts! Would definitely stay again!

We have stayed in several condos at KS & this is the Best one!! Sharon & Fred have taken great care of the condo & have everything you need for your visit. We love to cook & BBQ on our trips & the kitchen has all you need. The beds are comfy & the decor is the Hawaiian treat. The Lanai is PERFECT, it has great views & doesn't get too hot. Coffee in the morning is our favorite treat on the Lanai. Dinner on the Lanai is great too. You can catch the sunset each night too!!!

Wonderful condo in a great, family friendly location. The condo was just as listed -- including everything you'll need for the beach and pool (towels, boogie boards, chairs, snorkeling gear, noodles, toys, floaties, etc) and a well-stocked kitchen (plenty of utensils, plates, pots, pans, glassware, spices, ice maker in freezer, etc). Nice to have a big lanai with a great view on the 4th floor of the building. Sharon was very helpful, responsive and accommodating. Would definitely stay in this unit again.

Great resort and they maintain it well. They kept the pool area up and we're great about upholding quiet hours. My only complaint is that they close the snack/food area by the pool at 2:00pm. We wanted snow cones in the afternoon and they had closed. Would be nice to have that open until at least 4 or 5 and maybe have drinks available to purchase. Other than that it was absolutely amazing and an awesome location👍 We would definitely come back in the future.

This unit made our vacation in Maui a breeze. It was very well stocked with spices and cookware. There was a good range of beach toys ,chairs and towels, and the lanai was great to use because it is so spacious. Air conditioning in the downstairs bedroom made it a lot easier for our grandchild to take his naps and go to bed at night . We have stayed at the Kamaole Sands several times over the years and noticed that the grounds are better kept and more colourful than in the past. Staff at the complex are also very friendly and helpful and the owners of this unit are just great! All in all, in was a great place to stay and helped make our family vacation very memorable. We have been coming to Kameole Sands for over 5 years. This year we rented a top floor unit in building 6. The unit was updated, clean, and had plenty of extras like beach chairs, boogy boards for the kids, beach umbrella, sand toys and a cooler. The large lanai was also great for outdoor dinners and it had nice views of the gardens and ocean. Beds were comfy and the kitchen was well stocked. Sharon the owner was also really easy to deal with and she was very accommodating allowing us to check in early as our flight got in hours before check in time. We would definitely stay here again.

Sharon and Fred's place was perfect for our family vacation. Great location just across the street from Kamaole III, and set back far enough from the road so it was quite at night. The apartment was set with everything we needed to enjoy our beach time and a fully stocked kitchen to cook meals. Close walk to shopping and lots of restaurants and just a great jumping off point for exploring the rest of Maui. Sharon and Fred were quick to respond to all inquiries and great to work with. We just enjoyed a fabulous two weeks in Maui and our 6th stay at Kamaole Sands. First off, we've stayed at many different places in Maui and this is by far our favourite complex. We have three children ranging in age from 4-9 and the beautiful grounds, two pools, kid friendly hot tubs and close proximity to the beach makes this a fantastic choice for families. We spent our mornings at the beach and afternoons at the pool. This unit comes with everything you need for the beach and had enough for all three of our kids to have their own boogy board and chairs to sit in plus plenty of beach toys to play with.
The unit itself was perfect. We have rented at quite a few different places at Kamaole Sands and we were so impressed at how many little extra's this condo supplied. Sharon and Fred have thought of everything from spices and cooking basics to tinfoil and tupperware, plus the great selection of books/games and the laundry/dishwasher supplies were all so helpful. They covered so many of the little things that all add up and we really appreciated having them included in our stay. There was even a Hawaiian gift bag waiting for us when we arrived which was such a nice welcome to the Island.
Sharon and Fred were a pleasure to deal with and very accommodating. We would definitely recommend this condo and are already planning our next trip back to paradise!

This was our 10th time to Maui and our 8th stay at the Kamaole Sands. The condo is well equipped and one of the most lovely we've stayed at. We enjoyed having the privacy in the upstairs master suite and still be able to keep an eye and ear on our 12 year old son downstairs. The proximity to the pool and bbq is perfect. You are close, but not too close to hear the pool noise. Having the beach chairs, towels and toys helped me to pack lighter. Although we didn't use it, having the printer available in case we needed it for work was great. Also, appreciated having a smart tv with Netflix and we also used our Amazon account (and remember to log out). On our last day we had an issue with the dryer, but Sharon's contact Carol Mulch made a trip to the condo and helped us! So appreciative of her kind gesture to dry our clothes! Very responsive owner and lovely, lovely condo! We would love to return!

This is the third time in four years we have stayed in this unit. It works perfect for our family - we have two children (22 and 19) so the second bedroom with two double beds works perfectly! We have always found communication with the owners awesome and they are very accommodating - they really do want your vacation to be enjoyable! We so appreciated the welcome gift of coffee to get us started and some other little treats!
This unit has everything you would need - beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers, beach towels, boogie boards, sand toys, etc. - we just show up and enjoy. They have a wide variety of spices in the cupboard for cooking and all of the kitchen gadgets you might need. Often there are condiments in the fridge to use and storage bags, foil, plastic wrap, wax paper, etc. already there to use as well.
The pool is very close to this complex and the beach is just a short walk across the street. We would enjoy the beach in the morning and head to the pool about 2 pm for some more sun and fun. We saw turtles almost every day at Kamaole 3.
The lanai is a nice size and we would often enjoy our dinner out there watching the beautiful sun set over the water. The view is lovely and the gardens are extremely well kept.
We love visiting Maui and have thoroughly enjoyed our time staying in this unit.

The owners were very easy to communicate with and very helpful. We (a family of four with kids 9 & 11) have stayed at Kamaole Sands on a few different occasions and really enjoy this complex and location (our kids actually requested that we stay at this complex again). This condo was exactly as described. We really appreciated all the little extras that made the stay so much more enjoyable: a welcome basket with coffee and snacks, condiments in the fridge & storage bags in the pantry, shopping bags for the grocery store, beach chairs, beach towels,soft cooler, beach toys, & boogie boards. The boogie boards were very nice quality and condition, & we had another family ask us about them because their unit didn't offer anything as nice. The condo had everything that we needed. We spent most of our time at the beach across the street snorkeling (lots of turtles, fish & coral to see) in the morning and boogie boarding in the afternoon. We also love the tennis courts at this complex and played just about every morning before going to the beach. The pool area is where we relaxed in the early afternoon, swimming and playing ping pong. We had a wonderful time and hope to stay here again in the future!
