This is one of two two-bedroom units that we own at Ma'alaea Surf. Ma’alaea Surf Resort is a hidden gem located directly on the beach at the north end of Kihei. The property is set on 5 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds with eight two story buildings housing only 59 units. Amenities available two swimming pools, tennis courts, pickle ball courts, shuffleboard courts, eight common barbecues and on-site laundry facilities.

The resort is one of a kind - low density with only 59 units - and an old Hawaii feel. You are truly steps from the ocean on a stunning beach that provides miles of unobstructed walkable sand, safe surf and spectacular views. condo is located on the second floor of one of three oceanfront buildings with an unobstructed view of the Pacific, Sugar Beach, the West Maui mountains and outer islands. Our large lanai is situated perfectly to enjoy an early morning coffee or cocktail at sunset with the perfect balance of privacy and view.
The 1270 square foot condo was recently updated with a new kitchen, bathrooms, flooring, furniture and accessories and is stocked with everything you need. The home has stainless steel appliances, a Nespresso machine and a comprehensive selection of small appliances and kitchen tools, dishes, glasses and flatware. In addition to the kitchen, the main floor boasts a sizeable living area with vaulted ceilings, dining area a bedroom that can be set for twins or a king size configuration and a newly updated three piece bathroom.
Up the spiral staircase to the second floor, is the comfortable and serene master suite including a king-size bed, wall mounted flatscreen television, a substantial closet and stunning new ensuite bathroom.
We are perfectly set up for families with all the equipment you need to enjoy the resort and beyond. We are well stocked with plush beach towels, beach toys, beach chairs, snorkelling gear, tennis and pickle ball rackets and balls, cards and games so you can leave all that at home! In addition, we provide shampoo, conditioner and body wash as well as laundry supplies.
The condo provides a variety of entertainment options for your beach 'downtime' including two SMART flat screen TVs, a Bluetooth speaker, wireless high speed internet and a small collection of cards and games.
Ma’alaea Surf Resort is conveniently located with excellent access to most major attractions on Maui. Within walking distance is a Kihei location of the Farmer's Market Maui (open Monday - Friday), an ABC store, Maui's famous Ululani’s Shave Ice, The Sugar Beach Bake Shop and the Kihei Canoe Club.

This was an amazing property. Well situated in Kehei making drives in all directions on Maui a breeze. Condo is well maintained with many modern touches. Owner was super responsive to any questions and made check-in super smooth.

My family of four stayed here in early August and we knew we made the right choice the minute we walked into the door! You are just steps from the water, with an amazing, non-obstructed view of the ocean. We have stayed at several other places in Kihei and this location cannot be beat - I’m sad I didn’t find it sooner!
The condo’s layout is perfect, with an updated design and beautiful furnishings. Very clean - and the entire property was beautifully maintained. Aside from how beautiful the condo was, I was also very appreciative of the communication from the owner. The booking process was simple, and the information provided ahead of our arrival was extremely helpful.

This second floor condo sits right at the beachfront with a great balcony to sit on and watch the waves roll in and beach goers stroll by. The premises are very well manicured with staff constantly working on lawns and gardens or cleaning. The condo was meticulously cleaned and it was so helpful that there were amenities there for us to use like beach chairs, a cooler, a beach umbrella, etc. Also, there were a lot of kitchen amenities there for us to use including condiments, utensils and Keurig machine. The location is a perfect base for exploring the other parts of the island and it sits just outside town so there is no issue with traffic. We would highly recommend this particular condo.

This property was above my expectations. The view from the balcony was spectacular and the unit was very clean! We were just steps from the beach which made access easy for daily walks along the shore.
The unit was spacious and the furniture and bed comfy. I haven't slept that well in a long while. Who needs a sound machine when you can enjoy the sound of the waves kissing the shore and palm trees rustling in the gentle breeze in person!
The unit was equipped with everything we needed and the owner was quick to respond to any questions. We even used the community outdoor grill and laundry room, which were kept clean.
This was our 3rd trip to Maui and our favorite! Our first stay was at the Four Seasons in Wailea, and I was disappointed in the ocean view room. This was much better.

We spent ten wonderful nights in Lesley's condo and could not have been more impressed with the place and with her. We had originally booked to come in October 2020, which had to be cancelled due to COVID and she was so kind and helpful through the process to postpone the trip to October 2021.
The space is big and open with amazing views of the ocean. The lanai is huge and was perfect for breakfast and sunset watching. Everything was so clean and they provided so many more things than any other VRBO we have ever stayed in. From re-usable grocery bags to disinfecting wipes, a fully stocked kitchen and all the fun toys for the beach. The resort is quiet and beautifully maintained. It is a wonderful place and we will be back!

This is one of the most beautiful properties right on the ocean and conveniently located in the heart of Maui. Our stay here was super comfortable, place was accurately described and the condo is fully equipped for a very comfortable family stay in Maui.

We decided to celebrate our son’s high school graduation and Post COVID lockdown with Maui downtime. Our choice on this location and unit could not have been better. The unit is very well stocked with everything a family needs from kitchen supplies to beach supplies. Unit is well maintained and the complex very peaceful; not to big. Lesley the property owner was very responsive to any questions we had in preparing for our trip and has great recommendations on local restaurants, etc. We will be back!
