This unit was perfect for a family of 3 -- clean, spacious, and well-equipped. Loved having washing machine/dryer! Kamaole Sands is delightful: immaculately clean, beautifully landscaped, with lots of family-oriented amenities. The beach is right here, too! Lots of great places to eat nearby, and excellent BBQ/picnic facilities on site at Kamaole Sands. Highly recommended.

well maintained Complex was great for families and we had a fantastic time there. Pool ,bbq, fitness room were also great, Unit was as advertised super clean and perfect. Would stay again.

Clean condo with a good view of the ocean from the deck. Great locations right across from Kamaole Beach 3 which is a great beach. Walking distance to some mid range restaurants. Wifi works well in the living room, but has a hard time reaching the master bedroom.

The Kamaloe Sands resort is ideally located to all the great beaches and restaurants in the Kihei area.This condo 2-205 has a nicely updated kitchen and good features.Building 2 is close to the beach, BBQ stations, tennis courts, and the main office.A couple of suggestions for the owner/manager of the property, as this condo needs a bit of attention:1. The floors were not clean. We had to clean the floors as they were filthy - not just sand, but grime on the tiling. It's almost like it was washed with dirty water. This doesn't sound like a big deal, but it was gross to walk barefoot even a few steps. We purchased floor cleaner and left the extra under the kitchen sink.2. There were not enough spoons in the drawer. Four spoons is not enough for 3 people to even have breakfast. We left the reusable plastic spoons we accumulated throughout the week in the drawer.3. Purchase a decent Chef's knife - the knives in the kitchen were not usable.4. Throw out some of the old lawn chairs - these are falling apart and need to be replaced with decent new ones.5. Throw out the old useless broken boogie board. We bought a new one and left it in the storage.6. Provide more sheets and pillow cases. There were not enough appropriate linens for the pull out couch.7. Bathroom sink taps are loose and need attention - I'm worried these are going to break at some point. Tried tightening but couldn't.8. Need new broom.We've rented several condos at Kam Sands and this is the only time we've experienced as many items as above. I'm only pointing all these out to help.The kitchen was well appointed otherwise, with a blender, toaster, great stove, and lots of pots and pans etc. The poor quality knives and lack of spoons was a bit annoying.Thanks!

Fine place to stay except for a few things. Mainly, the AC is in the living room, so bedroom heats up pretty good, making it challenging to sleep. Worse, to us the AC, you have to have the storage doors on the deck open. Even though it's not mandatory, the selection of beach accessories was minimal. Broken umbrella, broken beach chairs and no cooler. We've stayed many times at Kamaole Sands and all these items, in working order, were available. We had to go to Boss Frog and rent two beach chairs, umbrella and a cooler for our stay.

Everything went extremely well. We did have some problems with the washer spin cycle not working.... So we weren’t able to wash our clothes for the whole time we were there... Also one of the beach chairs was broken (back of chair recessed too far back). We paid for an extra few hours stay and the new door code given didn’t work...We had to call three times to get new codes each time we left the unit as it would only work once. Was just a bit of a nuisance .... They could do with a few sharper knives for cutting pineapple etc. The view was beautiful, location was perfect and everything else went smoothly.

My wife and I loved 2-205 at Kamaole Sands. It was well decorated, had all the things we needed and the kitchen was lovely. Our only complaint would be that the living room is hot at night but that is to be expected when the a/c is not near the bedroom.
