The unit appears to have been remodeled recently. Firm mattress, newer furniture with updated baths and kitchen makes for wonderful experience on the ground floor of a 3-story condo complex. The presence of maintenance people by day and security at night kept any element of riff-raff (or homeless) away for a safe experience for kids and adults alike.

The condo was well stocked with beach accessories and cooking/eating items. Nice decor and the patio area was shaded with a nice view of the gardens. Easy walking distance to beach access and restaurants!
My only draw backs: the resort not offering to store bags upon arrival- with an early morning arrival time and check in not until 4 it was difficult to keep occupied (and cool) prior to check in. We also had issues getting the TV's to work properly and finally had to have maintenance come out (which was about a 4 hour window).

Beautiful grounds, this condo was fully stocked with all that is needed for a stay. It was very apparent that the owners took pride in this condo and wanted to make sure guests had what they needed for a great vacation. Perfect for us!

This was a quick five-day stay for us, but the unit was perfect - very well appointed with all things beach and kitchen that we could need. We loved having the two bathrooms. We also ended up really liking that the pool was so close, but not so close that it was noisy. A quick walk across the street to Kam III beach park for sunset with the cooler made for a great way to end the day! We will be back!

I gave it 3 stars because we have stayed at Kamole sands three times in different condos and this one was the worst stocked place. We ran out of toilet paper shampoo lotion. All the others had basic supplies like paper plates spices coffee creamers plastic silverware for the beach. Foil ziplock bags. This condo had nothing. Wouldn't recommend it for that reason

The condo was very comfortable and was located in an ideal spot on the property, with a walk-out deck that was close to the pool. Our communications with My Perfect Stays were professional, and the door code was a great feature that avoids the need for carrying physical keys around. More generally, we have always like Kamaole Sands as a great choice within Kihei.

We had a lovely stay at this condo. Everything was very clean as expected. The only minor complaints I have are the shower in the bedroom bathroom is very difficult to keep water inside the shower as there is no door from the shower to the bathroom. It's left open by design, but it's practically impossible to keep water from spraying everywhere outside the shower, especially with kids. Also, the bedroom had a very "musky" smell the whole time. Possibly due to the cleaning tools left in the clothing closet, which I also found to be odd. Maybe if those items were kept in another closet meant for cleaning products/items, the smell wouldn't have been there. Otherwise, we had a lovely stay!

Just go ahead and book this stay already! Truly perfect unit. Can see the ocean from the porch, 5 min walk, but you are blocked from all the car noise. Beaches in Wailea are flawless, fantastic snorkeling, and the surrounding area is great for an evening walk and some fish tacos. Really well stocked kitchen, super comfy bed. Amazing customer service and communication. Highly recommend and would stay again!

This was an amazing place to stay. The bed was super comfy and the showers were great. They even had beach stuff (chairs coolers, etc) stocked for use. Check in and out was a breeze. The lanai had a fair view of the ocean and was great for evenings. Super clean. I also couldn't hear anything from the units above or around us, which was originally a concern booking a bottom floor unit. The grounds at kamole sands were beautifully maintained. I would definitely recommend staying here.

This was our third stay at Kamaole Sands property and will continue to stay here as our preferred property in the future. Staff is friendly, attentive, and create a great experience. This condo specifically was everything we expected plus more.The unit supplied everything we needed in the kitchen including Tupperware for the beach, plenty of glassware, serving bowls, water containers etc. The beach gear was super convenient; 4 chairs, multiple umbrellas, coolers, noodles, and boogie boards.
Location of the unit is perfect as a ground level directly across from the pool gate. The assigned parking stall is directly behind the unit (not the case for all units). Being a corner unit you do get a lot of folks walking by as they enter/leave the pool but that was a concern for us. Made it easy to people watch and chat with other guests.

We’ve stayed at the Kamaole Sands several time, but this was the first time in a ground floor unit. We really enjoyed the ground floor lanai and being able to spread out onto the lawn when friends came to visit.
The unit is was very nicely renovated and well equipped. The split AC system worked well. The Murphy bed in the living room is so much more comfortable than the the hide-a-bed in most units. It’s is also easier to put away during the day.
The location in the complex is handy to the pool and the parking. You are close to the path between buildings 3 & 5 though so there is some foot traffic.

This ground floor unit was great for our family of 4 (2 adults and two kiddos 5.5yrs and 4yrs), it is steps away from the pool and just a short walk to K3 beach/beach park. The condo was in great shape, very young child friendly (they had kid books and plastic dish wear/cups, minimal breakable decor that was reachable for tiny hands), and was well stocked with all the kitchen supplies and beach gear we needed for our trip, it was a bonus to not have to rent any beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, or coolers during our stay. The ground floor unit was fantastic with kids, easy for them to get out and run in the grass directly from our lanai. We have stayed in 2 other units in this same condo and this was by far the most updated one and looked very beautiful and clean inside. I would definitely stay here again or recommend it for another family or couple (it is a 1 bedroom with a murphy bed in the living room).

We stayed at Kamaole Sands with two adults and two kids. The space was wonderful- the murphy bed was great for our girls and the master bedroom perfect for mom and dad- tho next time I may put the kids in the bedroom so I can make coffee and go out on the lanai in the morning without waking anyone up! And there WILL be a next time. Kamaole Sands had wonderful grounds, with a nice pool and spas, and it’s right across the road from Kamaole Beach III, so it’s easy to go over for the day or catch a sunset. It’s great for families or a couple. Also in a great location to walk to some shops or restaurants. This unit provided pool noodles, beach chairs, boogie boards, and umbrellas, as well as a few coolers. The only thing that would make it better is a wagon to carry everything across the street on those beach days, but it’s so close it’s not much of a trek if you have to carry it yourself. Easy to communicate with the property manager and easy check in. Highly recommend this place and will be looking at availability for the future!

The condo itself was clean, stocked and nice. Great location as well, and a nice view. However, beware that this property is managed by “my perfect stays”, not a direct owner. We had issues getting into the condo the first night, leaving us to rent a hotel last minute because no one was working their emergency line at 9pm on a Friday (LOL). It was a battle trying to get the proper assistance. My perfect stays ended up coming through, apologized for their mistake and refunded us for the night. Too bad we are still out a big chunk for the hotel. It was good on them to refund and apologize, but was a nightmare our first few days at this property. 5 stars for location and the condo itself, the management company is what brings it down to 3 stars.

We were so happy with the property. It was exactly what was advertised. The process of renting was beyond simple and felt really supported. The location is perfect on the property and in the town of Kihei. I have to say that the property was one of the reasons we had such a relaxing and comfortable stay. Really was a home away from home. All the supplies in the kitchen and the fun toys for the beach were all perfect. Beds were comfy, linens a plenty so really no complaints. If you want a great place to stay, look no further.

Property had everything we could possibly need. Lots of care in the details here. Great location for families on the garden level and close to pool. Unit had all amenities for the beach and fully stocked kitchen. My single feedback would be a foldable wagon to bring beach goods and cooler down to the beach. That’s not any knock just a great addition our friends had with their unit.

This was a perfect spot for our family of 4 (kids age 4 & 6). The murphy bed was perfect for the kids. The kitchen had everything we needed for the week. We really enjoyed being able to walk out to the pool and beach. The Owner has some great gear to use at the beach so you don't need to pack your own chairs and sand toys.
The communication from the management group was excellent. Easy to check-in / check-out.
We will definitely consider staying again in the future.

We spent a week here and we were surprised at how quiet and convenient it was. This is a great unit for a couple with quick access to the grounds. It is very close to the pool but not noisy at all. Well situated to catch the evening breeze to cool off.

I loved Kamaole Sands' programs and facilities. The pool was great for a young child. Our first-floor room was also perfect for them.
I want to give five stars to the room itself. Everything was cozy. So, my boy denied going outside for a few days. He was just delighted in the nice air-conditioned room.

This condo made a great home base for our family of 4, over the two weeks we spent on Maui. The kitchen was well stocked and the beach gear more than generous. It was nice to be so close to the pool and only a few minutes walk to the great beach, across the street. The murphy bed, in the living room, was a big plus for my boys and worked out well however, having some storage for their clothes would have been an even bigger win. Overall, I think the pictures are pretty accurate as far as what to expect in and around the condo. Thanks!

Great location. We enjoyed the nearby beach and all of the beach gear as well as the murphy bed. The kitchen was well stocked, and freezer was stocked with ice and freezer blocks for the coolers. The bathrooms are beautifully renovated. Bedding is in great shape. My only complaint was a smell of moisture in the master bathroom. Property management was responsive.

The location of the complex is right across the street from the beach which is fabulous. This unit is back a ways from the road, but we liked that. It had everything you would need to enjoy the beach and in excellent condition. The unit is as described and pictured and very well stocked. The lanai is very comfortable with lovely views and beautiful well maintained landscaping. I never spoke to the manager or owner so can't speak to that but they were clear in all their instructions for arrival, stay and departure. The unit was very clean, as was everything in unit except I took 1 star off for the silk arrangements in the 2 bathrooms where when you are bent over brushing your teeth, you can see how dusty they were. The plant in the master as well. I am not sure they are needed (& kind of in the way). The natural plant material in the complex is GORGEOUS and so Hawaiian, these seem out of place. If we ever go to Kihei again, we will definitely stay here! Thank you for having such a nice unit.

resort!! The condo was decorated really nice and had everything we needed except for I would like to mention Maybe adding some plastic bags, foil, saran wrap. Those kind of things only because when you're there a short time you usually don't buy that stuff other than that week was great! Would definitely stay again. I loved enjoying my coffee on the lanai which faced the pool and lush palm trees! I did forget a small shirt in the back of one of the beach chairs lol

We had a wonderful stay at Kamaole Sands. The unit had nice upgrades, the kitchen was well stocked w/ appliances and utensils and the beds were super cozy! It was so nice to have a Murphy bed instead of just a pullout couch :). The unit itself is close to the pool which my kids really enjoyed. My boyfriend and I stayed here for 5 nights recently and had a fantastic stay. The owners have done a fantastic job at decorating the unit with newer linens, furniture, decor etc. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. We used the BBQ grill every night too! I would 100% stay here again.

We had a fantastic stay! Location of unit was so convenient getting to the pool and beach! With two young kids that made all the difference! The only downside was that the wifi router died halfway through our stay which normally would not have been an issue but cellular reception was also poor which left us feeling a little stranded at bedtime after the kids went to bed. Still totally worth it and would definitely rent this unit in the future!
