This is absolutely a great property in an excellent location. The condo is very roomy and open with very nice updates all around. The property itself is very nice with excellent amenities which we fully enjoyed. Location is great, across the street from a nice uncrowded beach, along a business street full of local shops & eateries. The owner, Susan, is great very professional and excellent at communicating upfront expectations and helpful insight. This made our family's Christmas holiday a joy.

We loved our stay here: the beautiful view off the balcony especially at sunset, the convenience of having everything we needed to cook (as eating out gets pricey in Hawaii), plus having the beach just a few steps away. Grateful for how thoughtful host has been about making everything seamless and easy, down to the paper plates and ziplock bags available. We loved all the beach gear!!! Saved us so much money- costs like 99 to rent just snorkel gear.
I looked at a lot of different condos in this same Kamaole Sands complex, but I’m glad we picked this one. Being the first building makes for easy trips to beach, parking, pool, etc. Only thing that could have made the stay nicer would be having shampoo and conditioner available.

This is a great property. Nice grounds, large pool area and greenbelt, seems like every unit has a view. This particular one was great, top floor with ocean view, awesome brand new remodeled kitchen with large island for the whole family to sit around and hang out.
Property is right acros the screet from Kam III which is an ideal snorkel or beach-combing spot. Highly recommend, would definitely rent this unit again.

This is a fantastic property with great facilities! We especially enjoyed the free hula and tennis lessons on offer. Location is perfect, Kam III across the road was ideal for watching sunset, snorkeling with turtles on the south end and boogie boarding. The apartment is just as described and pictured, with everything we needed in the kitchen, bathroom and beach gear. Susan is a helpful host!

We were stranded in Maui due to the Maui fires. Susan saved the day by not only renting this place to us with same day check in (not supported on vrbo) but also lowering the rate drastically to help make it affordable. The unit is beautiful, clean with great ocean views. The grounds are also really well maintained with gym, pool, baby pool and 2 hot tubs (kid friendly and adult only). Short walk to the beach. We really enjoyed our stay despite the Maui fire craziness. Was the perfect sanctuary

Everything you needed was right there. The lanai was like sitting in the balcony of a performance put on by Mother Nature. Accessibility to everything was great. Location location location.
Starting with the parking stall is 15 from the elevator and then your front door is 20 ft from the elevator. Beautiful ocean view,kitchen is brand new and very well stocked. Beds are comfortable and plenty of towels and toiletries. 3 minutes walk to the ocean and about the same to the pool and hot tub.
Only drawback was the sliding door is hard to open and the outside handle on the door needs to be fixed.(cracked). I will definitely look at staying in this unit again

It was our first trip to Kihea.
We questioned the timing of our trip due to the devastating fire in west Kihea/Lahaina.
The host and the staff at Kamaole Sands were welcoming and helpful upon check in and throughout our stay. Milli (aka Milli Va Nilli )was a joy and very reassuring. Our stay was perfect!

much more than the description and deserves a raving review…The grounds are beautiful and well kept. Many photo ops on the property . Very nice pool and tennis courts. The unit is clean and modern. The stair case is cool but be careful not to hit your head! beds are comfortable. The air conditioning works and kept a nice temp in the evenings. there is a nice cross breeze which enables fresh air and the sound of the ocean. (Across the street!). We felt very safe in the condo yet would have liked to been able to lock the front screen door. The view from the deck is great! we enjoyed breakfast every morning to the sound of the ocean and birds! And enjoyed beautiful sunsets with our dinner and late night snacks(Spam misubi, hurricane fries, fresh fruit and salad) from the ABC store and Kamala shopping just a few blocks away.
Our visit to Kihea was truly a gift of time with family, eating, sharing,relaxing, reflecting, supporting, encouraging healing and peace. Cannot thank the host enough and Kamaole Sands for such a wonderful stay. Hawaii Strong is real..must find a way to get back! Mahalo!

We stayed here for our daughter’s wedding. It was perfect. We had plenty of room to get ready for wedding on wedding day. Condo is equipped with everything you need for vacation. Plenty of beach supplies from umbrellas, chairs, towels, wagon, and other beach items were provided in condo. Kitchen is very well stocked. Views from balcony are beautiful. Susan Shore was an amazing host. We will definitely consider staying here if we are able to return to Maui.

We enjoyed our stay at this clean and spacious condo. It was comfortable for four adults. We appreciated the AC during the hot summer days and the fact that the parking space was right by elevator. Easy to haul groceries and luggage. The beach is right across the street and there are beach toys, towels and coolers available in the condo. I have serious kitchen envy - we hung out around the huge island every night. We walked to pick up coffee and treats every morning (I miss you Maui Bread Company and Cinnamon Roll Place!). Stop at Costco in Kahului to stock up but there is also a Foodland right in Kihei. The check-in and checkout instructions are clear and simple. Thanks Susan!

Finally took the whole family to Hawaii and everyone had a blast. Were able to stay two doors down from another family we were traveling with and so nice and easy to be so close and have family BBQ's outside and hit the beach right across the street. They had everything we needed at the Condo. Made packing for the trip so nice and easy.

My family had a wonderful stay! The location was the best. Walking distance to the beach and restaurants/shops. We did not have to drive anywhere. It was clean and had everything we needed. It was very nice to have towels and chairs to use for the beach/pool. Susan was easy to work with and answered all of my questions. We would 100% stay here again. I highly recommend it.

This place is the perfect spot for families with children and adults who want to be central to most of the Maui attractions. The beach is just across the street. And the pool and hot tub hit the spot after a long day in the sun. The quality of the community grills made it easy to grill the perfect steaks and they had many of them so there was never any wait. Beach toys, umbrellas, chairs, coolers, etc were all available for our convenience. We used the pack 'n play for our 1 year old who passed out every night after all the fun in the sun. Short walks to many stores and restaurants and a 20 minute drive to Costco made it very easy to plan with a young child. I even had a chance to sneak away one night with my friends for a night out in Lahaina. On top of all that, the kitchen is brand new and top of the line. The property manager responded very quickly to any questions and needs.

Words cannot express how perfect this condo was for us. Our experience from the moment of contact with Susan to the end of our stay was incredible. The place was immaculate, so well stocked with everything we could have imagined needing and the newly renovated bathrooms and kitchen are beautiful. The highlight, of course, the view off the lanai…the perfect place for morning coffee and evening cocktails. The beds were extremely comfortable as well. We can’t imagine a better experience. We loved all aspects of our stay! The property Is so well kept, the pool and barbecue area are perfect. We will be back!

The condo is in a great location across the street from a beach and near many businesses. It is large, updated & very clean. It was well equipped with everything we needed and we especially appreciated all the beach gear. We enjoyed our stay here and loved the view from the balcony. One note is the 2nd bedroom is an open loft so lacks privacy & noise does carry.

It’s just been refurbished with brand new bathrooms and and a top modern kitchen. spacious and and lovely this condo is. perfect for a family and located in south kihei. With hawaii’s best sunset from your lanai. easy to drive to wailea and makena one way or a daytrip lahaina the other way. close to shops and restuarants in Kihei also. the condo is fully equipped with everything you need from the kitchen to beach gear. the owner Susan is a dream to communicate with as well. we will be back! 110% satisfaction and recommended for an unique Maui experience!

We had a wonderful time and appreciated all the amenities at the property and specific to the unit offered by the host, including the beach toys, wagon and supplies. The unit is located close to the elevator and parking spot, both super handy for travellers with a rambunctious toddler! Something else to note is how spacious the unit is, I didn’t realize how large it was and the lanai has a fantastic seating area and view. A really awesome rental house option for families! Susan was great to work with and very prompt with her replies. We’d love to go back!

We had an amazing visit to Kamaole Sands. The unit was very well appointed from cookware all the way down to beach chairs, a quality cooler and boogie boards! We had two adults and three teenagers and had plenty of room. The Lanai was super peaceful and gets indirect sunlight making it a perfect spot to drink coffee and read a book in the morning or watch the sunset. Susan was super responsive. We will be back!!

The property is big, clean and very well laid out. Master suite is beautiful and recently renovated. Everything worked great and for a family of 5 perfectly. 2 boogie boards and a load of chairs are there to use as is a cooler and snorkel gear. Kamaole Beach 3 is across the street and is a great beach for boogie boarding. Kihei is just awesome - tons of cool places to eat.

My mother and I went for her 60th birthday. The place was close to all the good food spots and just a short walk to the beach. I thought it was extra special that there was boogie boards and snorkel stuff included. Kitchen had everything you would need if you wanted to stay in and the beds were very comfortable. Very clean cute place. We had such a good time staying there.

This was our second stay in this unit for a friends vacation and we could not have been more pleased! We will be back next year, already reserved. Easily fit 5 women cooks in the kitchen at the same time! Everything spells relaxation and home. Kihei is perfectly centralized location for trips to Lahaina, Paia and Kahului, and especially to Pacific Whale Foundation.

There is every amenity and personal touch in this spacious and super-comfortable townhouse. Our trip to Kamaole Sands was amazing. Owner was a wonderful host, and responded immediately to any questions we had. We were staying in this unit as a group of 4 (2 couples) and found we had everything we could possibly need. The air conditioning units kept us cool when we needed to beat the heat for a bit. The beds were comfortable, and linens were clean. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for utensils and cookware. The convenience of providing stuff like beach towels, beach chairs, snorkel gear, coolers etc makes it nice to not have to pack or rent stuff once you get to Kihei. Everything is right there waiting for you in the room. The location is great. The grounds are well manicured and clean. Nice pool are with loungers. Steps to Kamaole III and many other beaches. Would 100% re-book this unit. You will not be disappointed.

We recently stayed at this property for the weekend. Appreciated the keypad/code for entry door instead of fumbling for room keys (like we would for the rental car). This property was very comfortable for 5 adults and so beautifully decorated with many personal touches. There were beach towels, beach gear, basically a fully furnished rental! We had a great time on Maui, exploring the island, staying this property made it even more memorable! Thank you Susan for the wonderful hospitality, we look forward to renting this property again!
