As mentioned above, this is a living and sleeping area as you'll find in this combined space, both a great conversational area, couch that converts to a Queen size bed, as well as a comfortable King size bed. With access to the lanai, stunning views and a fully updated bathroom, this is a fantastic space but it's not a private bedroom. You'll enjoy a King size bed and ensuite bathroom with a convenient work space! You'll have no problems staying cool after a day in the sun, featuring a split AC in the main living room and guest bedroom, ceiling fans throughout and the famous Maui breeze right off your lanai. In total, this ocean view condo sleeps a total of 6 guests.
Mana Kai offers a heated pool, a general store, rental store (paddle boards, snorkel gear, boogie boards etc.), fitness center, and beachfront BBQ grills all on site! The location is fantastic! Great beach, heated pool, and walk (2 miles) from town. The people at My Perfect Stays were very nice and accommodating. Being able to see both the beach and the pool made tracking my kids very easy. Clean, comfortable furnishings. The restaurant is closed for a while, which we didn't know - and there is construction in the lobby. Construction didn't bother us though. Rented boogie boards downstairs and it was great. We typically stay in the fancy hotels, but really enjoyed this experience and having some extra space and more privacy. Would stay here again for sure!

Condo was really nice, only issue was that the oven was not working and could not be repaired or replaced during our stay. Manager credited us back for food we could not cook, so that softened the blow. But we ended up going over budget with takeout food purchases which was the point of staying in a condo rather than at a resort. We were told the unit would have all new appliances when we arrived, but the oven had not been replaced. I suspect a supply chain issue, but full disclosure prior to our arrival would have been appreciated. Great location, nice reef to snorkel over just in front of condos. Would gladly return if the oven works next time.

Absolutely amazing vacation! We've stayed in Maui over 10 times and this is by far the best most beautiful view we've ever had. The unit was just remodeled and totally gorgeous. The location is perfect, the beach is beautiful and there's everything you need at this location.

Fresh and light filled unit in an amazing location. We have rented in this building before and this is by far our favorite unit. We had a delightful and extremely comfortable stay. We would definitely rent again. Just a tip - if you like to sleep late, you may want to bring some earplugs as folks are up and about enjoying the property by 7:30 or 8 am.

Loved having this place as our homebase in Maui. We only used the front bedroom, but enjoyed having two bathrooms and more space to spread out. The condo is very attractively decorated, the view is amazing, and the bed was comfortable. Laundry was easy and it was nice to just grab the two provided beach chairs or use the lounge chairs provided by the condo to hang on the grass each afternoon after we explored. The condo is pretty far south in Kihei (basically in Wailea) so if you plan to do a lot of activities in Lahaina or Paia, then you’ll be driving quite a bit. It wasn’t a huge bother for us, but just something to know. If you’re looking for good off-the-beaten-path spots in Kihei, we enjoyed South Side Grindz for mochiko chicken, Kraken coffee truck, and 1054 Togoshi for sushi.

WOW! We stayed in early October 2022 and to start, the view is simply spectacular from this 5th floor, very comfortable, well-appointed condo overlooking all of South Maui, the beautiful beach and palm trees, and the pool area. The sound of the calm ocean waves and warm breezes right from the bedroom/living room area and private Lanai was magical!
The home was very clean and included all the necessary amenities and fully functioning kitchen. We were pleasantly surprised to also find beach gear stored in one of the closets (beach chairs, umbrella, and snorkel gear). The unit is also located right near the elevator and coin-operated laundry room (very convenient and quiet!).
Communication was with the Property management company (My Perfect Stays), and not directly with the owner/host. But we felt as if we were communicating directly with the owner, as information and all the details we needed were clear and prompt. We also had many questions in which My Perfect Stays responded clearly and promptly.
The only thing we were a little surprised by, was the ground-floor restaurant near the pool had gone out of business and was shut down.

This was our third stay at the Mana Kai. We had a wonderful time as always. The complex is ideally located on the border of Wailea so there is easy access for long beach walks as well as a comfortable walk in to Kihei town for meals.
Unit 507 has gorgeous views and is very clean and updated with nice patio furniture and a very comfortable indoor living space. The unit is outfitted with chairs, an umbrella, and additional beach gear. The kitchen is nicely equipped with the exception of sharp knives. Our biggest disappointment was that the listing did not reveal that both the restaurant and the general store were closed for renovation. In the past, we have enjoyed the convenience of having these amenities available for quick meals and necessities.

Location is spectacular! Property management no so much! Oven was not in operation which was an issue for us. 4 1/2 months previous to our stay an email was sent regarding the issue. I really didn't think it concerned us because our arrival was 4 1/2 months later. I thought if the oven had not been fixed or replaced before we arrived that we would receive a professional courtesy call letting us know it still wasn't repaired. But, no call. When I emailed them, their email response was a template. Words that actions didn't follow. I will not be using them again. I rather work with an owner than a management company. It seems as though most owners care about their tenants, management companies don't.
