If you have to do any work, good luck. The WiFi was absolutely horrible. Tried using cell phone as hotspot and the cell service was also bad. Had to go outside to complete a phone call

we only stay at Kamaole Sands when we come to Maui. We love the beautiful property, proximity to the best beaches and shopping within walking distance. We appreciate all condos are well stocked so we can save on food expense by cooking in and all condos have two bathrooms.

The unit was clean, comfortable, and stocked everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Having AC in the bedroom was a great plus to cool things down for sleeping, although we found this particular unit in building 5 generally stayed cooler during the day than the units in other buildings we've stayed in previously at KS.

We stayed in the condo for two weeks and enjoyed our stay. The condo was clean and comfortable. The bed is one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on. The condo is just steps from the pool and the grounds are beautiful. The kitchen is equipped with the basics to cook a meal. There were no pot holders, but have been told I should have contacted the front office to get one. There were beach chairs and small coolers available, which were greatly appreciated. We’ve stayed at the Kamaole Sands 17 or 18 times over the last 36 years and this condo did not disappoint. If available our next visit, I would definitely book. We left one week before the devastating fires and our prayers are with everyone that have lost so much.

Excellent location at Kamaole Sands that has great amenities and is close to beach and other amenities, but the unit needs maintenance. The furniture is showing its age and is stained, main bedroom bed was comfortable, but kids said sofa bed was uncomfortable.
Management/owner claim we 'broke' the pull-out sofa bed (we left it in the 'bed' position for entire 3 night stay so no way we damaged it) and charged us the damage deposit - currently contesting this charge with management and Vrbo and still unresolved after 3 weeks.
Despite Kamaole Sands being a great property overall, this specific unit is not worth the price we paid.

This ground floor apartment is a wonderful place, on a beautiful property and directly across the street from the beach. Well stocked and clean with plenty of extras like beach chairs and boogie boards. William was excellent to communicate with when booking and having to make changes to our trip ahead of time as well. Highly recommend!

This unit is located in Kamaole Sands which is a very well maintained and gorgeous property in a superb location. This unit is in a great location on the property but it is 'tired' and does not match the photos online. With some TLC and a good scrub it will be fabulous. Williams was very responsive but understandably could not address the items in the unit that need updating . Even with that - we had a super stay.

We had a great time staying at this unit! The location of the complex is very central and very easy to navigate. Very nice to be on a ground unit and have easy access to amenities. Kamaole Sands has a lovely community and family feel but is also great for couples! The host of the rental unit was also great and very helpful! I highly recommend this unit!

Bed was super comfortable. Place needed some updating especially bathrooms.and light fixtures. But everything worked with no problems. However must say the stove knobs were a challenge with Medium heat being actually Off and Low was High, we did get used to it. No pot holders and one tea towel which is a quick fix for the owner. The couch was nice and lots of beach gear. The resort itself is lovely. Nice 2 weeks.

A/C in master and living both appreciated on the sticky nights. Beautiful grounds right off lanai. We frequently sat outside, watching the palm leaves swaying in the gorgeous sunsets and our kids do cartwheels on the lawn. Right across the street from one of the best boogie boarding beaches we tried. Easy proximity to beautiful beaches, Auntie Snorkel (for gear) and the marketplace for souvenirs and restaurants. The lanai closet was well stocked. Especially appreciated the cooler for road-trip days. Nice to sit by the pool in the evenings. Very quiet property, and no noise from upstairs neighbors. Would stay again, absolutely!

We were happy to find beach toys, boogie boards, beach chairs, umbrella and lots of their things I’m a lanai storage, I thought we wound need to rent or buy. The condo itself was very clean, spacious and tastefully decorated. We did not experience any issues during our stay. We will stay at this unit again next time. Across from the beach. We saw many turtles. Perfect for boogie boarding and snorkeling at kamaole beach 2 and 3. Unit is clean and very nicely equipped with things you need. Two bathrooms is a must for families. Both the property owner and on-site management are very responsive. Community has many great things. Many gas bbq grills, tennis court, pools and small gym. Convenient to have two rinsing stations for the sand

Kitchen is very basic, no hot pads or cookie sheets but served our minimal needs. Location of condo inside the resort is great and next to pool. King bed in bedroom is comfy and condo was clean.

We really enjoyed our stay at Kamaole Sands. This is my second time staying at this property within the last year. This specific unit was comfortable, had an updated kitchen and great appliances. The unit overall was not as updated as the unit I stayed in before or i expected. But if push came to shove I would book it again.

The property was exactly as described. The Kamaole Sands is an older complex but is kept up nicely. The grounds are lovely and we enjoyed the pool and hot tubs. Unit 5114 is clean and spacious with many kitchen amenities including a keurig and regular coffee maker, blender, spices, knives, cooking utensils, pots, pans etc. we loved having a starter pack of coffee/ creamer as well as starters for toiletries, the washer and dishwasher. The dishwasher is older and makes a high pitched noise for the first half hour it runs so we were sure to not start it at night. The lanai had a closet with boogie boards, beach chairs, snorkeling gear and a couple of small coolers. (So nice to have). There were beach towels and two hair dryers provided. We walked to The Cinnamon Roll Place, Moose McGillicuddys, Freds and Pennys. I would recommend them all. (especially Moose’s happy hour😄.). The beach and pool are an easy walk. Communication with William was easy and we would stay here again

The unit was very well equipped with toilet paper, cleaning products, sand toys, cooler, boogey boards, pool cups.
Washer/Dryer looked to be brand new. Walk with your own detergent if you need to wash more than one load.
Convenient location to the pool but lovely plants in between so you aren't directly seeing the pool. Beautiful grounds with walkway to the beach across the street.
We were there for Christmas and the grounds were tastefully decorated.
Only issue I couldn't figure out how to get anything to show on the TV. The remotes may need new batteries too.

Asked them to fix one light that was out and
They took another so that we had two lights on the bar not working.
Could use some windex and some placemats.

We found this condo comfortable and convenient. During our stay in November, the weather was warm, and by opening the doors, we had a cooling breeze and never needed to use the air conditioning. The condo was clean and the kitchen had enough supplies to prepare our meals. We used the BBQ's frequently and enjoyed sitting on the lanai with a glass of wine.
Since we spent over 3 weeks here, having a washer and dryer was a plus. Communication with William the owner was excellent.
