My family of four had a wonderful time at the beachside condo. The location was perfect and the beach next to the condo had lots of sea turtles and fish life on the reef to view and watch. Onsite is a rental facility for all kinds of water toys but several were already in the condo for our use. Everything was super clean, the kitchen was well stocked and the location was a perfect jumping off point for anywhere else on the island. The owner was also very responsive and helpful. We would definitely recommend and we would stay here again.

This was by far the best location on the beach, just steps away from the beach and water.
We could open the sliding doors, lie in bed and listen to the waves. This was much better than staying in a big resort.
The small shop on the property was perfect for snacks and drinks.

Great location for a family with young kids. The condo was clean and stocked for cooking. It was complete with beach toys, chairs, and an umbrella. The best part was being able to quickly get out the door to enjoy a great beach without having to worry about carrying everything in a car. We would definitely stay at Lori & Clark's place again!

Amazing condo on one of Maui's best beaches. Spectacular views with the beach almost right below your lanai! Hearing the waves crash on the beach during the night is a dream.
This was the 2nd time my family stayed here (2021 previously) and was impressed how it was just as perfect as before.
Lori is a fantastic host and is so easy to communicate with. She responds quickly to any questions or help needed.
My family and I love this place and absolutely hope to be back in the future.

My husband, 1.5 year old, and I stayed at this condo in May 2023.
The location is unbeatable, right at the end of Kihei before you reach Wailea. The resort is well maintained, with a wonderful pool we visited every day, and a convenience store with fresh food. A parking spot is included.
Beds were comfy, condo was clean and well-stocked with towels, beach items, high chair/pack and play, and kitchen equipment. We ate all of our meals from the lanai, which has an amazing view of the beach and ocean.
Our host Lori was easily reached and accommodating.
We wouldn't hesitate to rebook and hope to return!

We stayed here 5 nights and really enjoyed it. It is located in Keihi near Wailuea and in one of the best beaches in the area. Walking distance to the restaurants in Keihi.
The place is a odd shape with the main bedroom and living room in the same big room, but there is a slide away wall between them. Worked perfect for us as all 3 beds (br 1, br 2, and hide-a-bed) were occupied. But might be too cozy for separate couples. The place was well stocked with more than the basics… lots of kitchen stuff, beach stuff, games, books…,
The view from the porch is great!

We had a great stay. The property had amazing views (and Oceanside sounds) from both bedrooms. We loved being able to just walk onto the beach from the resort. It was super clean and the hosts were quick to respond, kind, and helpful. Would stay here again 100%.

The Mana Kai has a great beach front location, an expansive grassy lawn, and excellent access to snorkeling. It is an easy walk to the closest shopping centers and restaurants. The on site general store is well provisioned and serves very good prepared foods. The description of the unit itself was misleading, in that it is not truly a two bedroom. It is a studio with an additional bedroom. The sliding doors that move to separate the bed in the studio are not functional for any sound mitigation. This did not work well for our group which included a 2 year old who was up at the crack of dawn. All amenities and provisions in the unit were exceptional. We didn't lack for anything we needed.

Lori’s apartment is the perfect spot if you want to get away for a relaxing vacation. The property is exactly as listed. Super and there is a great selection of amenities/supplies in the condo The resort is in a great location and it’s very nice to have the amenities that it offers. The whole resort is very well taken care of. Would def stay here again.

Our family of 4 spent the week in this beautiful location. It was the perfect spot with easy access to the beach and a great little snorkeling spot. The pool and all general areas are well maintained and cleaned every day and night. We liked having so many restaurants nearby and the general store at the condo was convenient for a quick lunch. The condo had everything we needed, was very clean, and I couldn’t get enough of the lanai and soaking in all the sounds of the ocean.

Great location! You can hear the ocean very well from this unit. You will sleep very well. Condo was well equipped with beach toys, umbrellas, body boards. We barely needed to contact the host because we really didn't have any issues. Lori was very responsive to questions. A pack and play was provided for our little one which was much appreciated. I would definitely stay here again.

Everything was great! The location on Keawakapu beach is amazing. Kids loved the boogie boards! We explored other places and everyone always wanted to head back to the condo because it was the best beach. Snorkeling in the rocky area right in front of the property was the best snorkeling we did in all is south Maui. Saw three giant turtles the first morning! The property management was wonderful (the grills are the cleanest you will ever see!) and Lori was super communicative in advance of our stay. My ONLY recommendation would be to add basic spices and oil. We grilled at the condo most nights and while there is everything you could ask for in terms of cooking and grilling supplies there were no basic spices. No worries though…Foodland is right up the street! Mahalo!

Stayed here in June with my husband and 2 grown children. It was really a great place. Great location for touring different parts of the island each day. Wonderful view off the balcony and we could hear the waves from inside the condo….Love that!! Beds were sooo comfortable. Having access to a cooler was an added convenience. Although we didn’t use them, there were also nice boogie boards and beach chairs. Third floor was nice…convenient to stairs to walk down when we didn’t want to use the elevator. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a great time during our stay in Maui. The condo was very clean and was well-stocked with all we needed. The property was in a great location with the beach and pool only steps away! My family of five loved our stay here at this condo. Check in was easy. Loved the parking spot (although a bit small for the SUV the rental company gave us - not the fault of the owner).
Location of the condo was wonderful. Close enough to everything. Loved that the beaches were swimmable. Every morning i'd see people snorkeling, once at night too!
The condo itself was well stocked/equipped. Kids were delighted to see the boogey boards! The bathrooms were clean and well stocked as well.
We truly enjoyed our stay here and hope to return before the year ends!

We were beyond pleased with every aspect of our experience! From Lori answering all of our questions during the booking process (so many pandemic unknowns when we booked) to the ease of check-in and the simple check-out everything went very smoothly. The condo was clean, well stocked, had plenty of storage, access to laundry and made a comfortable home away from home during our visit. The Mana Kai is a gem tucked away on the pristine and uncrowded Keawakapu Beach - you could spend your entire stay on property and be perfectly content - in fact, we watched whales, saw the sunrise over Haleakala and the sun set over the Pacific all from the balcony! With its central location in Kihei it’s also a perfect launching pad to explore from. Can’t say enough about how spectacular our stay was, and we hope to return.

The perfect getaway for my family, and we stayed in the perfect place. Lori and Clark’s Kihei condo is precisely what it is advertised to be. The location can’t be beat, and we loved every second of our stay. I’m so pleased, and appreciative, that we found their listing and decided to give it a try. Everything was smooth and easy, and communication was spot on. We are already thinking of our next trip to Maui, and staying in Lori and Clark’s condo will be our first choice for any future trip.

This is our 7th time at the Mana Kai and probably our favorite unit so far. It was clean and had way more than expected. It’s common for there to be the bare minimum to cook with but this unit was a pleasant surprise with chairs and umbrella for the beach and other things that made our stay wonderful. Even tho we usually get a unit on a higher floor, we were amazed how that didn’t really matter when it comes to views and all. We’ll stay here again.

The condo itself is fantastic: lovely floor plan, updated, stylish, everything you'd need. But, except for morning walks, the beach is not great: no waves at all, plus lots of uncomfortable coral even when dipping (due to a protective coral reef far offshore). Worst, after 2 pm every day, this beach and the entire property lie in the face of the steepest winds on Maui: much to windy to relax or walk on the beach, play on the grass, sit on the deck and enjoy the views, or spend time at the pool. We had to drive every afternoon and evening to other beaches, further south in Kihei, that are much more protected from the wind. On the positive side, Kihei itself is a lovely town, very community oriented, friendly locals, and without the crass commercialism and tourism often seen further nouth and south. Overall, if you're just looking for a great base to explore Maui, this condo is excellent. If the beach matters, and afternoons and evenings outside at your condo matter, this might be a challenge.

This unit is in an excellent location.
You are no more than 45 minutes from any point of interest on the island.
From your lanai you can watch the sun rise over Mt. Haleakala and the sunset over the Pacific. During the day the view of the beach is beautiful.
This unit is clean and well furnished. The view and the perfect weather can be enjoyed on the lanai or even in the main room. The beach gear is plentiful and in good shape.
The restaurant and the on site store are very convenient.
We were able to relax and unwind in a very comfortable setting. Mahalo for sharing your condo.

We had such a wonderful family vacation in Maui and couldn’t have asked for a better condo. The view is absolutely gorgeous. We loved watching the sunset from our lanai and waking up to the beautiful ocean view. The condo itself is very spacious and well equipped. We did not cook any meals in but definitely could have. Lori was so responsive to all of my questions prior to our stay. If you are thinking of staying elsewhere, don’t!! Location was perfect and if we ever go back and stay in Kihei, I would request to book this condo in a heartbeat. Thank you again Lori for allowing us to stay!

This was our first time at Mana Kai and it was very nice. Beautiful views of the beach/lawn/pool areas and the location was perfect. The condo was clean and had all the upgraded amenities needed to be comfortable. The owners were very quick to respond to a question I had and even gave us a "linen refresh and clean" in the middle of our stay! It was very nice and we would definitely stay here again. Mahalo!

We love this beach and location and my family of four (kids now are 23 and 19) have stayed in this condo several times previously. It still works for us even tho our kids are now technically not kids. Lori gave it a refresh and it is even nicer now. We so appreciated the beach equipment and towel refresh mid stay and would highly recommend staying here. Such a beautiful place and trip.

We had an amazing stay at Lori's condo for our first family vacation in a long time. The view from the lanai of Keweakapu beach was gorgeous and I'm not sure there are any better on Maui. Certainly not for this cost! The condo was modern, well maintained, clean and perfect for our family of 4 - it had everything needed for a beach vacation, chairs, cooler, beach toys. The beds were super comfortable as well.
The condo building has an excellent restaurant, a surf shop where you can rent snorkels, fins, boogie boards and anything else you would need for the ocean & beach. Also a small mini-mart for food or any incidentals you may need. There was good snorkeling with many kinds of tropical fish and coral to watch just off the beach.
And I almost forgot to mention the view of the sunset is awesome from the condo building as well!!
This was a perfect vacation and I wholeheartedly recommend Lori's place for anyone looking for a great Maui getaway!!

This was a perfect beachfront location with beautiful views. The condo was really nicely furnished/decorated and newly updated. Everything felt luxurious from the plush towels to the cloud-like bedding. I really liked the central location of Kehei as our starting point to explore the island.
Lori was so helpful and quick to help us with any concerns. Could not ask for a better host!
If you go to Safeway to get groceries you can quickly download the frequent shopper card and save a lot. Also, they sell beautiful native flowers that you should buy at the beginning of your trip and make the condo smell great.
The 5 Palms restaurant was a such a treat! The relaxing atmosphere and views while dining are very special. The beach outside the condo is great for snorkeling and riding the waves. Makena beach about 20 minutes south was really gorgeous.
Really miss Maui and hope to return! Thanks for an amazing place to stay.

We absolutely loved it here! Beautiful, quiet condo. Concrete walls- we didn't hear neighbors above or to either side. Beautiful two-bedroom, two-bath condo. Plenty of space to spread out. I personally loved all the counter space in the bathroom to spread out my products and hair tools out to get ready between the beach and nighttime activities. The functionality, location, and views are spectacular. It was 10/10. Oh! Also, the amenities: the restaurant was tasty and happy hour was convenient, rental area, and an information station. We didn't use the pool but it looked well taken care of too.

The paperwork and pre/post covid testing that was required by the state of Hawaii made this a very stressful vacation to plan for, but once we made it there, it was PERFECT. Lori was very quick to respond to all of our questions. Check in/check out was easy. The condo was well equipped, clean, and plenty of room for 5. We were very glad to be on the 3rd floor - high enough to get great views, and the afternoon winds didn't bother us at all. Highly recommend and hope to stay here again!
