Everything was wonderful about this property...the views, the inside...everything was thoughtfully appointed and we were so sad to leave. Our next rental on kauai was far less thoughtful and sadly, was a complete let down after staying here. It's perfect, everything inside was amply provided and comfortable. There was a view too from nearly every room. Outside the views were to die for. We'll definitely be back. Mahalo!

The unit is exactly as represented on line. It is very bright and super clean. The location of the unit in the complex is perfect and is right on the ocean. A great location to access Waimea Canyon and south west sites. An easy drive to the north end of the Island and Princeville. The Beach house restaurant is a 3 minute walk from the unit and is excellent. The host Jennifer was excellent and accessible. Would highly recommend this unit and excellent host.

This property is exactly as described, The kitchen is well equipped with any appliance that you may need. There are spices, coffee filters and a pitcher if filtered water in fridge 👍. The beach chairs, umbrellas, snorkeling equipment and boogie boards are an added bonus. The location is great with lovely beach a short 5 minute drive, there are lots of great restaurants close by, don’t miss dinner at Table at Poipu or La Spezia. The owners were easy to contact and very accommodating, allowing us to stay late on our departure day which made the long trip home much easier

Our stay at the oceanfront condo was absolutely wonderful. The unit had wall-to-wall ocean views. It was so wonderful to watch sunrises and sunsets from the patio—and so many turtles! We appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout the unit including beach gear, spices for cooking, and lots of cooking utensils.
The condo was just a short drive to Sheraton and Poipu beaches (our favorites). There’s also Lawai beach right around the corner and Baby Beach about a ten minute walk.
We’d absolutely stay here again! Couldn’t ask for a more relaxing experience.

We traveled all over the island since it was our first time here. But at the end of the day our favorite place to be was sitting on the patio watching the turtles and surfers and then the sunset. It was better than being at the beach because we could be close to the water but with a nice manicured lawn to enjoy vs sand everywhere. But if sand is what you crave it’s only a 200 yards down the coast. Air conditioning was fantastic too.

As guests of this property, you are a walk of about 200 yards from the perfect vantage point. Great up-close views of the ocean from the indoor living area and the patio adjacent to it. No swimming pool if you feel you need one, but there are numerous beaches within walking distance. Amazingly quiet for the size of the complex.

Had a great week, condo was clean, beautiful ocean views; surfers and sea turtle sightings from the lanai kept us entertained when we weren’t out and about. The noisiest thing around the condo were the breaking waves! The unit had just about anything you would need for a beach vacation. (Would have liked to have had shampoo and conditioner available but we managed!) We enjoyed snorkeling at the beach next door and visiting the little snack shop across from it. Several restaurants and a couple of markets were within a mile or so. Fairly central location for visiting the other areas of the island. 😎

We loved the location of this condo, near beaches and shopping. The views are unbelievable. The condo was very well stocked, the only things that would have been nice to have were shampoo and conditioner. To improve the stay further we would have preferred a more comfortable mattress and newer towels. But for the price and location we felt we got a lot of value from our stay.

We had the most wonderful time in Kauai. We absolutely loved our place. It was spacious, clean, quiet and had everything we needed. We greatly enjoyed the patio where we watched surfers, whales and dolphins each day. Highly recommend!

Great location. Quality bedding/furniture but couch needs a little help on the springs. Condo nicely provisioned , which was an unexpected bonus based on many other VRBO stays – kitchen bags, plenty of paper towels, plenty of toilet paper, body wash for the showers, hand lotion for the sink washing, etc. Sometimes it’s the little things. I had a question regarding the Internet and Jennifer responded promptly.

The property owners happened to be on-site during our visit and were very gracious hosts. The condo was comfortable and well-stocked, and the location is unbelievable! We have stayed at Kuhio Shore 2 times previously and this was the nicest unit. We loved the layout and more square footage. The condo had everything we needed and more. Kuhio Shores is prime location for Kauai. The only thing missing would be a swimming pool for those hot days when you don't want to go in the ocean but would like to cool down. We loved being so close to the water, the sound of the waves, the incredible sunsets right out your doorstep and the sunrises every morning. It's just a short walk to the beach for some terrific snorkeling. Shopping and dining is also very close by. You will not regret staying here.

My hubby and I LOVED this oceanfront suite. So decadent to be waterside with a view on two sides. Everything we needed in one nice-sized condo. Was nice and quiet except those marvelous pounding waves. We watched the sunset and surfers every night, cooked meals together and had a wonderful open air anniversary dinner right next door! There's easy sand beach access just past the end of the property and shopping and options nearby. It was perfect for us!

There is no doubt about it but the view from the living room area is amazing- just can’t beat it! Communication with the property manager was super prompt. There had been a change with the check in policy & we were worried about our car getting towed due to the lack of the parking permit, Secondly, the iron & ironing board were missing from the unit. In both cases, the property manager responded within in minutes & the problems were resolved. It is thoughtful of the owner to let folks to leave remaining spices, foil etc for additional guests - wide selection to choose from,
As commented by previous guests, the unit is dated & in need of an update. The grout in the shower is a bit nasty in sections & the mirror & sink are aging as well. The couch would benefit from a cleaning. On the positive side, the A/C worked well & the bed was quite comfortable. With washing machines & dryers on every floor, I never had to wait for a machine. Don’t forget your quarters. The comfortable beach chairs & umbrella were a plus. There was a tiny beach next door- would not recommend as very rocky. Lots of surfers were present! We enjoyed our stay in beautiful Kauai!

Close to many site seeing spots. Very close to many great restaurants and shops. Jennifer was very responsive with any questions and great to deal with. Would definitely stay here again.

Staying at this VRBO was the highlight of our trip. The unit is stocked with everything we needed and we loved the privacy of the corner end unit.
Woke up each morning and watched seat turtles feeding. Surf break to the North is epic - we loved watching surfers every day. AC worked great, though we didn't need it most of the time. Highly recommend!!

It was a gift to get to stay here! The views were incredible! (As pictured). It was perfect to walk over to Lawa’i beach for great snorkeling. We enjoyed watching the turtles and surfers. We loved having coffee on the lanai with the oceanfront view. We had dinner out on the lanai a couple times as well. We stayed a couple places during our time in Kauai and this was our favorite! Loved having the breeze throughout the day and open windows. At night we closed up and used the AC which worked great! Jennifer was quick to respond to any questions and communication was clear and excellent. What a dream location and we would love to stay here again some day!

This condo was a perfect Hawaiian Getaway for my husband and I. The condo is exactly as advertised and communication with the owner was easy. We were there in late May and though temps went into the 80s a few times, we never turned on the Air Conditioner. Just opening the windows to the trade winds provided us with cool comfort. Sitting on the lanai, and on the grass watching the ocean, the surfers and the sea turtles was amazing and so relaxing. We slept so well listening to the ocean talking to us all night long. You get to choose the activity level of your vacation here. When we wanted a few quiet days to recharge from life, this was the perfect location. When we were ready for exploring, it's a great location for exploring the island.

You cannot beat this location… The views out over the ocean are amazing. We saw tons of sea turtles and loved the sound of the crashing waves outside our patio. You can catch some amazing sunrises … Sunsets and moonscapes. The unit itself was really nice and clean and comfortable for the 2 of us. It was also really nice having A/C because it was really warm which we weren’t used to. I really would love to stay here again.

You will love sunrise and sunset views right from your door. Be prepared for the sounds of the ocean waves to lull you to sleep, every night. It’s nice to have the air-conditioning, but there is a great cross ventilation as well, so you may never need to use it. Even if you do, the waves will still be heard even through closed windows. Great snorkeling a few steps away, and you’re sure to see dolphins and whales as well. Truly, if you want to be as close as possible to the water, you won’t find anything better than this. The kitchen is well equipped, just perfect for two people. In our eight days’ stay, we ate at the Beach House restaurant next-door twice, and were pleased both times. We did not have a car, everything we wanted to do was pretty much within walking distance. A magical location!

Beautiful property with incredible views. You can’t get any closer to the ocean unless you are in it. Turtles swam up daily to the rocks. Surfers launched from the rocks and we could watch them everyday. The condo is clean and comfortable with a full kitchen and everything you need. I highly recommend this location and property for your stay in Kauai.

We first found this beauty several years ago and return often. The unit is very well furnished and the on site gardeners and maintenance staff are so friendly. We loved the property- if you want a comfortable place with a killer view in Poipu, this is it. It doesn’t have many amenities but we find with amenities come crowds! This place had everything we needed, was close to restaurants, golf, beaches. And did I mention the view? I could sit out back watching the sea turtles, waves, surfers all day!

The photos of this unit do it justice. Not quite as cavernous in the living area, but all real estate pictures lately seem to create that effect and the space was still more than roomy enough. The location of this unit is absolutely fantastic. A corner unit at ground level with two full walls of windows and the ocean 15 to 20 ft away. Cannot be beat. A detail that might be important to some is that this unit is not secluded. People walk between the unit and the seawall fairly regularly. It was never obtrusive to us, though, and we actually had some interesting conversations with people passing by as we sat out on the lanai. The bed was comfortable. The kitchen was large and well equipped. The TV was large enough for the open living room and the Wi-Fi connected easily and worked solidly for streaming content. If we ever get back to Kauai, we will be looking to rent this unit again. Thank you!
