Great views and location. The condo had everything we needed for our stay. All we had to do was run to the grocery store or go out. She loved the couch and would usually fall asleep out there. I liked the BBQ area. It was a great place to meet other people staying there while using the BBQ. The other thing that I can say is the employees were awesome. We go to Hawaii every year to different islands, and we are going back to this unit in 2024.

So quiet, but so close to everything. Thoroughly enjoyed having ocean right outside our balcony with many sea turtles to scout out. Condo was clean & more than met our needs space & kitchen-wise. Very comfortable bed. Decor is very tasteful. Would stay here again!

The mold problem mentioned in another post is still a problem. Condo smells like mold. Furniture cushions outside have seen their day; torn, smushed, faded. No cutting board so used a plate=dull knives. Last, grills outside barely work and furniture is covered with bird poop.

This apartment is perfectly placed - turtles on one side, snorkelling on the other. Quiet and well appointed you will find everything you need for a relaxing time in the Poipu area. Food and shops are nearby, beautiful coastline is everywhere. The apartment itself had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I highly recommend this place.

New to this side of Poipu, we usually stay closer to Brenackes, to our surprise we loved it here, the close proximity to everything AND so much quieter! The view is beautiful, sunrise and sunset watching is amazing from the outside patio.

Great location. Everything was good except the shower. The shower had mold on the ceiling and all 4 corners of the shower floor. My wife and I were very disappointed in how dirty the shower felt because of the mold. I understand it is a tropical location and humidity is high, but paint the ceiling and bleach the shower if you are renting it.

We stayed here while getting married on the island and enjoyed our stay at this condo so much. It was very clean and had all of the amenities that we needed. The host Polly was quick to respond if we ever had any questions. The view was amazing and we saw turtles from our balcony almost everyday. We were very pleased with the location of Kuhio Shores, we felt like we were right in the middle of Poipu and just a couple of minutes from shopping, eating, and amazing beaches. We would definitely recommend staying here and would love to come back!

We loved this apartment and would definitely book it again! It was a central location for all the hiking we did, close walk to a beach and close to some food (all within about a half mile) the best part about the location was how close it is to crashing waves. It drowned out any noise around you so you really felt like no one else was around. Pretty incredible to wake up and watch the sunrise each morning. I’m going to miss it!

This home is a in great location and wonderful view of the sunrise in Kauai. From our balcony we saw the turtles surfing every single day. A three minute walk got us right on the beach. The room it self was clean and spacious. I would definitely stay here again. Thanks Polly!

The condo is clean, comfortable, and well equipped, and the location couldn’t be much better. We enjoyed being close to beaches, easily able to explore the south and west side of Kauai, and the sunsets from the lawn of the condo complex cannot be beat! The view (and built in ocean soundtrack) from the lanai were also spectacular.

We loved this unit as our place to relax between our many activities. The kitchen has the gadgets and cookware you’ll need, as well as a few staple items. I spent our afternoons/evenings watching the turtles, which became my new favorite hobby. The sunsets from the lawn around the corner were lovely.
I found the bed very comfortable, and the AC was plenty powerful. We also had plenty of hot water. We appreciated being able to use beach chairs, snorkel gear, and a boogie board. If we ever return to this side of Kauai, we’d 100% stay here again!

You would feel like you belonged there and be transfixed with your view, breeze, turtles, activity in the park and can walk barefooted to a short walk to the seaside area. If you have walking issues you can see so much. Loved our stay!

This property is excellent in all aspects. The location is beautiful and very convenient. The inside is spacious and exceeded our expectations. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen is chef ready had all the amenities we needed. My husband and I loved sitting on the balcony and seeing/hearing the ocean right below us. A bonus was discovering the beach right next to the property is great for snorkeling. Highly recommend this condo.

Love this building...constructed of concrete, even between the units which makes for a quiet stay. Beautiful kitchen and quality furnishings create a comfortable environment. We did experience some WiFi problems, but they were promptly addressed. Fantastic views and location. Highly recommended and we look forward to staying in the future.

Don’t even know where to begin.
Location is perfect, condo with its size and view is sooooo much better than a hotel room with its 800 sq feet of well appointed furniture.
The king bed was comfortable and everything was in working order in the full kitchen.
Closet was full of snorkel gear, boogie boards, beach chairs…
We are very happy about making this condo our home for our 3 day vacation on Kauai!

Very nice 1 bedroom 1 bath condo on the water. AC was great. Very nice kithen with all that you need. Quite too. Walking dictance to many good dining spots - Eat at LiveFood.
Walk to a snokel beach. THe washer dryer on the properrty floor came in handy. Walk between the property and the Beach House and sit on the lawn infront of the restuarant to watch the sunsets.

Beautiful and spacious space with a gorgeous ocean view. We were stunned as we stepped inside the room to see the ocean right below our windows. It is so peaceful and interesting to sit at the lanai and watch the ocean. We saw many many turtles. It was wonderful feeling the ocean breeze and hearing the ocean waves. Hands down one of the best places that we have ever stayed on vacation!
We were grateful that Polly had many useful items in the property. I feel their place was probably the most well-equipped rental places that we have ever stayed.
The place is conveniently located a few minutes away from the shopping mall and Koloa old town. We enjoyed visiting the farmers market, Koloa Fish Market, Sueoka market, Kenji Burger, etc.
As a whole, we had an absolutely magical time here and would love to return one day! But if we were to suggest one thing, it might be helpful to install a hand-held shower head. It would be particularly helpful for those with young children.

We were so happy to found this amazing condo! The location is perfect on the south shore, close to Poipu Beach, Old Koloa town and all the amazing things the south shore has to offer. The views from the patio are second to none and you might even catch turtles swimming up to the bay. I would recommend this to anyone and we'll definitely stay here again when we're back on the island!!

The property was clean and the views were gorgeous. The sound of the waves were constantly relaxing and was just a door away. Was also fun to watch the water as there were usually turtles swimming! Was an added bonus to conveniently see either sunset or sunrise from the lanai.
The kitchen had tons of appliances available along with awesome beach chairs and umbrella for beach days.
Would highly recommend and can't wait to come back!

My wife and I have visited each of the frequently visited islands several times and stayed in many rental properties, and this rental ranks at the top. The location is amazing, the actual unit has an amazing view, and as you can see from the photos that the unit is very well appointed. I highly recommend staying here!

The photos of 307 Kuhio Shores do not do this lovely condo justice! While off the lanai, breakers are crashing against the rocks; inside there is a sense of calm, quiet and beauty.
The interior is decorated tastefully; the high quality furniture works perfectly to add comfort to the rooms. The kitchen was a amazingly well stocked, had perfect lighting and was very, very clean. The bathroom has plenty of storage and counter space (I do not travel light) and the fixtures were all very clean. The king size bed was comfy, the linens were perfect, the bedroom was quiet and had great storage and counter space. The lanai has it all; turtle viewing, snorkelers, people fishing, boats traveling up and down the coast and the most beautiful sunrises imaginable.
Of all the binders landlords leave, telling about the area . . . restaurants, places to visits, shopping, etc., the one that Polly and Jim created was the very best.
The housekeeper was friendly and readily available. She made good effort to make sure our needs were met and we were comfortable.
The entire complex is relaxed and quiet, while giving a strong sense of security. It is very well maintained, in a discrete manner. The location was perfect for walking to beaches, the shopping center and taking in nightly sunsets!

We LOVED staying here and can't wait to come back again! Polly was a wonderful host - very thoughtful and quick to reply. The photos almost don't do this place justice - it's beautiful and so relaxing! Within 10 minutes of arrival, we were on the lanai watching turtles just a few feet offshore. We instantly regretted that this part of our trip wasn't longer to give us more time here! The location was fantastic for our needs and navigation was very easy. The furniture was comfortable and the kitchen very well-stocked with pots, pans, and dishes. We enjoyed the little "pluses" of the beach towels and chairs, the cooler and ice pack, and the binoculars (we used those to watch turtles, whales, and dolphins from the balcony every day we were there!). If this unit is available for your dates, book it! You will not regret it! We want to come back again soon.

There were oohs and aahs as soon as we opened the door. We never even turned the tv on. With views like these, who needs it!! On a small beautiful bay, opening to the open ocean, we spent more time on the lanai than anywhere else inside. But when inside it was comfortable and has everything you need for a relaxing vaca. We had 4 adults with two in the king sized bed and two on the pull out couch. We all slept great!!

Rented the unit for my birthday trip to Kauai. The unit and stay were both wonderful. Polly was an amazing hostess, she went above and beyond during our stay. The unit is located in a great area, restaurants and stores are less than 5 minutes away. You must try Waikomo Shave Ice which is less than 5 minutes from the unit. The view is unbeatable, perfect for a relaxing getaway. Gorgeous sunrise and sunset. The unit itself was very clean and comfortable. It was fully stocked with beach gear and other thoughtful items. Although we didn’t use any of the items it was a nice touch offering them to guests. There was one issue upon arrival and Polly was extremely receptive and eager to find a solution. I’ve rented with VRBO and other rental companies many many times and this was hands down the best experience I’ve had with the communication regarding a rental unit. From beginning to end the directions, instructions for checking in and out were very clear. I would definitely recommend this unit and will be staying there again on my next trip back to Kauai. Hands down you should stay here you won’t be disappointed!

Stayed 2 weeks in October 21. Really enjoyed the location to beaches, snorkeling, and restaurants. Saw turtels every day from our lanai. This was the most well equipped place we stayed in with Beach chairs and stocked kitchen. Only issue was was no washer and dryer in the unit as implied but had to go to shared laundry on floor. We would go there again.

This was an amazing property for exploring Kauai. Let me preface this review by saying that I’m very picky especially with places I stay. This place was perfect. The condo is clean, it’s easily accessible, it’s a very quiet atmosphere, and the view is out of this world! We had an amazing stay at this lovely condo. Overall the place was clean (just a dirty cup in the sink upon arrival), comfy and was described just like the online listing. Check in and check out was easy. Within minutes of arriving we saw turtles from the lanai (balcony). All during the day you can hear the crashing waves which was soothing. We will definitely stay again if given the opportunity.

Everything as advertised which is unusual these days. Very clean and well provisioned. Honestly did not spend a lot of time there, but the ac worked well, bed was comfortable, and watching the sea turtles every day from the balcony was great. Nice location and close to good restaurants.

We had such a great trip to Kauai. The condo was in such a great location to get to everything on the island. It is also in walking distance to shops and restaurants (The Beach House restaurants offers the best views of the sunset). The condo was clean and had everything we needed. My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Polly's property. We absolutely loved spotting turtles every day from the lanai. It was my first time staying in Poipu, and we were thrilled to be near great beaches, shave ice, and such a cute town. We also loved how well-stocked the kitchen was - and used it many times to cook at home! Polly was very responsive for any issues and needs that arose. We would love to stay again in the future.
