The unit exceeded all of our expectations. Watching all of the playful turtles from the lanai was an added treat. This 2/2 unit offered amazing space for us 4 adults. We would absolutely rent this unit again.

We have a wonderful stay in this unit. We say so many see turtles each day from the lanai. The most amazing experience was seeing the sunrise from the lanai and waking around the building and watching the sunset later in the day. The beds are very comfortable and the AC units keep all the rooms cool. Heather was available and responsive. We would definitely recommend this unit.

This condo was centrally located just outside the busy beachy town of Poipu. Close to shopping and dining in old Koloa Town as well. Great view of sunrise from the lanai in the morning. AC unit in the main living area and one bedroom. The other bedroom had a large fan but we still felt pretty warm in the night unless we kept the bedroom door open. Bedroom and bathroom doors are louvered doors with slats and the bathrooms have open transoms as well; makes privacy difficult. Other than that, the condo was great!

The location of this property is great. Watched sea turtles every day from the lanai. Beautiful area by the Beach House restaurant to watch the sunset. Heather was very responsive to any questions I asked before our trip and when we rented her Jeep, delivering it to us! The condo was beautiful and met all of our needs. Would definitely stay here again.

This property was perfect for what we needed. We love Poipu and this condo is just a 5 minute drive from Poipu Beach and is a nice central location for most of the island. The view is amazing and the amenities were great. Heather provides two coolers, 4 beach chairs, 4 beach towels, a boogie board and an umbrella. The entry to the condo was very easy, parking never a problem, and Heather makes it very easy to rent her Jeep as well. She left us a welcome gift and was always easy to communicate with. She graciously extended our check out time since we had an evening flight. We couldn't have asked for a better hostess. Our only regret was not seeing any sea turtles from the balcony, but no one can control that! We saw plenty of turtles and seals on Poipu Beach! It was wonderful to sit on the balcony in the mornings and enjoy the view. We walked to the end of the building to see sunsets and could easily walk to The Beach House restaurant for a very nice dinner with a great view. The air conditioning worked well throughout the condo, with the master bedroom getting just a little warm if you slept with the door closed. We learned to leave the door open a bit with the ceiling fan on and it was fine. The bedroom doors are slatted, so not always completely private in terms of noise, but we were traveling with our best friends, so it was ok. Additonally, there is an open area above the hall bathroom wall, so again, not completely private when it came to noise, but we worked around it. Just things to be aware of, depending on who you are traveling with. All in all a fantastic experience!!! Mahalo Heather!

Heather is great. We were able to get into the condo early. It is more beautiful than the pictures. Everything we needed was there.
The view from the Lanai is so amazing. We watched the turtles endlessly.
The beds and pillows were very comfortable. This is so important to my husband. We would stay here again. Thank you Heather.

Condo was amazing!! Right on the ocean and we saw turtles from the lanai. We had a group of 6, so two of us slept on the pullout couch and it was pretty comfortable! There was even an additional air mattress, if needed. Kitchen was fully equipped. Great place to stay for a girls’ trip or family getaway.

The view was incredible. The kitchen was stocked full with dishes, cookware, condiments and everything else we needed. Heather was easy to connect with and check in/out was super easy. Great beaches and restaurants in short walking distance. We had two infants and the place was great for them. Perfect for 4 adults and 2 young kids. We will be back!!

Heather is a great host. She is communicative from the moment the reservation is made from sharing tips for staying in and around Koloa..
The property itself is the perfect spot to watch sunsets and if lucky you can see whales and turtles from your balcony. The property is clean and welcoming. Heather provides everything you need to spend a day out at the beach.
Look forward to staying at this property again!

Heather’s condo is beautiful and so well equipped we had everything we needed to feel “at home”. We loved sitting on the balcony with our morning coffee enjoying the 180 degree views of the ocean. And the condo is within walking distance of beaches and a lovely outdoor shopping market which hosts a farmer’s market every Wednesday afternoon. And we so appreciated Heather’s prompt responses to our questions. Thank you, Heather, for a lovely visit.

The condo was located on the top floor of the building with a perfect view of sea turtles feeding area. We watched them every morning! The condo had a full stocked kitchen and was really close to fabulous restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay and Heather was quick to respond to any questions we had. She was also very accommodating with our schedule changes. We will definitely stay here again!

This condo provided us with a great operations base for our Christmas in Kauai. Heather [owner] provided us with recommendations on restaurants, beaches and hikes well in advance of our visit. Those recommendations were spot-on.
The kitchen is very well equipped, the beds are very comfortable [great linens] and the view is outstanding. The rental includes access to the Poipu Athletic Club--a facility we enjoyed very much. If you are a walker or runner there are good routes right out of the parking lot. Regarding parking, we never had a problem finding a space in the Kuhio Shores lot.
The Waimea area and all the hiking trails it affords is an easy 40-45 minute drive. Our oldest is a surfer and he had no problem finding a performance board and the drive to the North Shore was an hour+. Easy drive to and from the airport as well but beware early morning and late afternoon congestion around Lihue--it can crawl.
We did not have a bad meal on the island--from the expensive but superb Beaches restaurant next door to the humble food trucks in every town.
The condo is well equipped for beach outings with plenty of towels and top notch chairs. There are several good snorkeling spots within walking distance.
Our stay at 407 Kuhio Shores was most enjoyable.

Our stay was absolutely amazing. The condo was clean, beautiful and the location was beyond perfect. As other reviews have mentioned we got to see sea turtles from the lanai. That was such a treat!! Heather was amazing. She was always available if we had any questions and offered extra advice and tips for things to do on the island. The condo was more than comfortable for 4 adults. The rooms were very spacious and the living room and kitchen had plenty of seating for everyone to hang out together. The AC was nice and cold. There were plenty of extra comforts Heather provided that made life so much easier such as beach chairs, extra floor fans if we needed, extra towels and blankets, a first aid kit, and every kitchen accessory you can think of.

We always love our time at Kuhio Shores! This condo is spacious and comfortable. Great patio that comes equipped with an ocean and turtles ;-) The owner is wonderful!! I highly recommend this condo!

We really enjoyed our stay here. We saw magnificent sunrises from our deck. In the early afternoon, the sun shines on the water and you can see turtles and fish swimming around.
The condo was very clean and comfortable. It had nice pots and pans for making our meals and a nutribullet for making margaritas. The coolers that were provided were great for packing water and lunches to the beach. One thing to note is that the washer/dryer is not inside the unit but is on the same floor about 25 feet from your front door.
We would definitely stay here again!

Very nice two bedroom apartment location in the perfect location on the shore shore.
Really nice, well equipped, two bedroom apartment right on the water. The balcony has a beautiful view of the ocean. You almost want to complain that the waves crashing on the shore are too noisy!
And we really appreciated the strong air-conditioning. Don't care what others say - having A/C is great.
Besides being right on the water, this place is location right next to Lawai beach (great for snorkeling) and the Beach House Restaurant (good food - great views) is downstairs. Poipu beach is less than a five minute drive.
Also a half mile away are the Shops at Kukui'ula - which I thought were the nicest shops on the island.
Finally, Heather was very welcoming. She gave us lots of spot-on recommendations and talked with us whenever we needed advice.
I recommend this place - unreservedly.
