Beyond amazing views of the ocean, especially sunrises and sunsets. Saw sea turtles and dolphins from right outside property. Short walks to multiple beaches, stores, and food.

If you like the sound of the ocean - this is it for you.
Walking distance to amazing sunsets and a small beach.
Everything worked out perfectly. There’s no pool but that didn’t bother us. Close to restaurants and food trucks- less than 5 min drive. Everything in Poipu is close. Good location for exploring the south.
Condo was clean and spacious.

If you want to be on the south shore and outside of the resort scene, this is a great choice. Very comfortable and convenient, with a gorgeous view of the sunrise.

We absolutely loved staying here. It was much roomier than expected and watching the turtles was a bonus. Clean, comfortable, quiet, easy parking. Perfect for someone/someones who like to be left alone and avoid the big mega resorts. Right next to the best snorkeling with rentals available. They had beach chairs, noodles, etc available and the kitchen was well stocked. The only thing I would mention to others is the laundry room only takes quarters ($5) and thats basically impossible to get if you dont plan ahead. We would love to stay here again, thank you!

Unbeatable views of the ocean. Vacasa management communicated well and was informative. The bed is very comfortable and the A/C was pleasant at night. Short walk to Lawa'i beach which looked good for snorkeling, but the ocean was too rough due to a swell. Poipu beach and Shipwreck beach are a short drive away. The kitchen and living room overlook the ocean which was so relaxing. All the appliances worked great and the automatic door lock was a major plus. The location is perfect as base camp to explore the south side of the island. The only negatives were that the kitchen was missing a few key things (i.e. strainer, foil, snack bags) and we were not provided a parking pass upon arrival. Luckily, we were able to get a pass from a groundskeeper that we ran into after check-in. Overall incredible place to stay.

We loved staying at Kuhio Shores both because of the location and the condo amenities! We enjoyed snorkeling right beside the condo, relaxing at Baby Beach, watching the sunset and surfers each night, and being able to get a cocktail at the Beach House. We LOVED having such an incredible view from our lanai and hearing the ocean while we drifted off to sleep. The amenities in the condo were great including a very comfortable bed and couches and a fully-stocked kitchen. We will definitely recommend this spot to anyone visiting South Kauai.

Beautiful beautiful condo. Mirrors line the entire living room and make you feel like you’re in your very own beach home on a private beach bay. Sunrise is astonishing in the floor to ceiling view with a spacious balcony and beach gear. Cleaning was immaculate and there were tons of little touches like locally sourced soap and shampoo, macadamia nut candy gifts, etc that really made you feel special. Very open layout. Free parking. BETTER than the photos online!
Check in was smooth and host was very responsive. Worked with me to store luggage ahead of time and make sure we had everything we needed. Super hospitable!

The place is wonderful and we watch the turtles in our balcony. It was peaceful! We love this place because there is no pool and no crowd. The beach is about 1 minute walk...you can jump into the water right away!

This space was a perfect start to our vacation. Great location with food and stores nearby. We loved all the bamboo decor accents throughout. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. The patio view of the ocean was absolutely amazing! Honestly, can’t be beat. We took a morning walk right down to the water. Having AC was a treat! Checking in and out was a breeze. We would absolutely stay here again!!

The location of this property was perfect for us. We watched sea turtles swimming along the rocks below us most days while there. We could walk to snorkeling, a small quiet beach, The Beach House restaurant, and Kukui'ula Shops. The kitchen was newly updated, clean, and well stocked. The bed was comfortable. Our only complaints, and they are so minimal: there was no where to put clothes other than a small closet. Would have loved a chest of drawers to put things away. The front room needs a bit of updating, in our opinion. Otherwise, it was great! Thank you!

L’appartement est très propre et bien situé! Nous étions supposé avoir une voiture d’incluse mais une fois réservé, l’hôte nous a écrit pour nous dire qu’il n’en avait plus de disponible et nous a offert un léger remboursement (80$ pour deux jours) ce que j’ai trouvé très peu considérant que j’ai du loué une voiture 350$ pour mon séjour. J’ai demandé un late check out et ce ne fut pas possible. De plus, nous n’étions pas capable de faire fonctionner la douche le soir de notre arrivé et nous avons eu une réponse le lendemain seulement. Pour le reste, je recommande, ils offrent de belles attentions et le bruit de la mer le soir est tellement plaisant!

A perfect spot for travels around the island or staying around Poipu for the beaches and food. Everything about this rental was fantastic. Good amount of space, comfortable bed, easy to navigate instructions, and very helpful extras like the free car rental and the available beach gear. Highly recommend!

The condo was in a nice location, right on a great beach and with nice views of the nearby cove. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare a nice dinner. Unfortunately, though, the entire place just felt like it had not been kept up to the standards I would expect for the price they are charging. For example, the paint in places was damaged, the chairs on the porch had holes in them, there`s exposed piping in the bathroom, some of the trim is coming off cabinets, etc. It wouldn`t take that much time or money to fix it, so it`s disappointing given how much we had to spend to stay there.
