We loved our vacation at Kamaole Sands. The complex has everything you need for a great stay. Our unit was clean and came with all the extras you need for a week long stay. Highly recommend!

Everything was as expected. It was so nice to be so close to the beach, condo was clean and well supplied!
For me personally, the complex was gigantic and offered more amenities than we used. It wasn’t super full, but felt busy- just in general that area in Kihei was crowded.
Again, nothing bad about the condo at all, just my own personal taste . And PS the condo overlooked a road, so not super quiet.

Unit was as advertised, air conditioner kept the unit very comfortable, bed was excellent, liked the cotton sheets. Kitchen was well equipped.
Gym was very adequate, ice machine at the pool area kept our drinks nice and cold, adult only hot tub was a plus.
We would recommend this to anyone who asks.

The property feels so private and intimate despite it being in a resort. The owner got back to me quickly with each question I had, and kept the place super clean and equipped! The washing machine and dryer were very handy and easy to use. My husband and I were able to walk to the beach in 5 minutes and it was so convenient! The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you may need, and the place came with extra beach towels to make the stay a little easier! I highly recommend checking out “the cinnamon roll place” while you stay! It’s very close to the property and is so delicious! All in all, this place is amazing, I would definitely book it again!

The listing is just as described. The unit has everything you could ever need! We really took advantage of the kitchen & all the beach stuff. Natalie was super amazing & quick to respond. She went above & beyond & allowed us to stay a little longer (late flight that evening). I would totally recommend this place - right across from Kam II (perfect for watching sunsets!) Great location & the office staff were also very helpful & friendly!

We loved our stay at this condo! You can tell the owners really keep their place in tip top shape and have thought of everything to make their guests very comfortable. It’s super clean, well appointed, across the street from Kamaole beaches, convenient to everything in Kihei and Wailea, and nice and quiet. Communication with the owner is very fast. You can’t go wrong!

We loved how close this property is to Wailea. It was so clean and comfortable and stocked several items that really came in handy for beach days. We found a new favorite restaurant and snorkeling spot very close to this location. Communication with property manager was A+.

This was a great property on our Maui stop. Close to a great beach and lots of good restaurants. Also nicely located for accessing day trips you may want to do.
The bed was comfy and the place was clean. It was also well stocked with kitchen, cleaning, and beach gear.
We only spent about 30-minutes in the pool. It was generally very crowded when we stayed here, but the surf was high all week. So I imagine most people stayed by the pool. The pool facilities were nice, however!
The washer and dryer were great as well. Nice to have on a trip like this!

Lovely spot to stay. Comfortable and well maintained.
Couple of things guests need to know before staying here that I was unaware of before booking. 1. Have to check in with an outside company at a check in desk where you have to pay an additional $35 for parking and to use the amenities. The check in counter also makes you consider purchasing coverage for incidentals which is odd. 2. The air conditioner is on a timer so you will have to wake up during the night to turn it back on.

Our stay was awesome!! The unit was Clean, spacious, convenient, and all around an excellent accommodation. It’s got everything you need: kitchen equipment, new washer dryer, gorgeous second bathroom, great A/C, and all the fixins’ you need for a trip to the beach: beach chairs, beach towels, etc… The hosts were very responsive to my questions. Check in and check out process was very easy. My husband and I didn’t use the amenities but they looked awesome. Definitely would come back for another stay next time we’re back in Maui. Mahalo!

We have stayed at Kamaole Sands numerous times over the years but this was our first time in building 4. There was some street noise being that is close to the road, but it wasn’t a deterrent for us. The unit was clean and very well stocked which was greatly appreciated. The kitchen had good knives and a knife sharpener which was amazing! Lots of cleaning supplies and extra bedding made it easy to keep the unit clean for our 2 week stay. We had an issue with a broken chair on the lanai and the host was extremely responsive and got us a new chair. The only negative or suggestion that I would have is, that on such a big beautiful lanai, it would have been nice, along with the furniture, to also have a table & chairs so you could eat outside.

The property is very well located right near Kihei and Wailea. It's also very close to all the shops and beaches in the area.
The place is relatively newly remodeled and very clean from the bathroom, to the kitchen, to the patio.
Very spacious for two people, and could easily hold 3 or maybe 4 with the pullout bed.
Only issue was the beach chairs included for use were barely hanging together when we used them(but not marking down the rating because they're basically just added value).
Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in Maui.

The condo was well equipped, especially on the kitchen side. A lot of beach items, maybe not in the best condition, but better than nothing! The grounds of the sand kamole are Very well kept! Parking is well designed. If a Hawaiian view is what you desire I’d spend the extra money to get something else. We had relatives staying in the same group of condos and they had garden to ocean views for slightly more money and their condo was fixed up more. But for our stay this condo was fine since we were more on the go. The 2 bathrooms were remodeled nicely and the kitchen was too. Nice washer, dryer, and AC. The 2 coolers provided came in handy as did the free on property car wash.

The condo was clean and had all the expected amenities, and then some. We appreciated things provided for the beach, that you would not be able to pack. The location is a short walk to the beach and a great central location to all of the favorite island destinations. The grounds here are gorgeous and we always felt safe. We would definitely recommend staying here and would love to come back.

Great value and fantastic location to explore Maui. The listing is accurate and you're getting what you see in the pictures. The unit was clean and had some extras that made the stay easier (example: beach chairs and cooler. no umbrella, but can be rented from nearby stores).
Although we didn't use it much the kitchen is fully stocked and has everything you might need.
The bed was very comfy (and soft).
Having two bathrooms was extremely helpful :)
Having your own parking spot close to the unit was great.

The condo was great, seemed larger than the pictures make it appear. Bed and pillows are comfortable. Towels (bath and beach) are large and soft.. Kitchen stocked with every pot/pan , appliance and utensils you could ever need. Beach chairs, snorkels, coolers made trip to be a breeze. A/C had no problem cooling down the entire unit when needed. If we ever make it back to Kihei, this is the only place we would stay.

Excellent location close to an amazing beach with unbelievable views and a short walk to multiple dining options. Cleaning issue at check-in was immediately resolved by our host who was extremely apologetic and quickly organized a back up. We loved our stay at this property and would highly recommend it.

We think this well-appointed condo is a quiet, comfortable, perfectly-located, place to recharge and relax.
After we had landed we found that we could check in 4 hours early adding a whole lot more comfort to our time in Maui.
The living room is spacious and the kitchen is stocked with absolutely everything one needs for preparing and serving food.
The clean bathrooms have the best shower heads with great water pressure to rinse off after a visit to the 2 minutes-walk, fun Kamaole III Beach or any other (and there are many nearby) beautiful beaches.
We did get to see a slice of the ocean each morning from the lanai,. The hot midday sun seems to skip the condo, and the sunset view was an extra treat the time we were in the condo. The cushioned lanai furniture and the privacy and quiet of the lanai, allowed for wonderful stargazing on the nights the sky was clear.
The assigned parking is very close and the elevator a 10 seconds walk. Walking from the condo to the beach path, nearby parks and South Kihei shops is safe and a pleasure too.

My husband and I went to Maui for our honeymoon with our infant son and rented this property for 10 days. It was the perfect location for us and was the perfect size! The lanai was large and spacious and gave us a nice view with a good amount of privacy! There are 3 public beaches/parks within minutes (walking distance) of the condo which was very nice for us as we could put our son in the stroller and head down! The condo itself was very clean when we arrived and they had everything there that we needed! Communication with the owner was also perfect. When we messaged we would receive a prompt response! When we come back to Maui we have already said that we would stay in this condo again! Thank you for the wonderful accommodations! It made our first Maui experience perfect.

We had some issues with the safe not working, but Kanoe quickly responded to our messages and we were able to fix it. I have only good things to say about this place. Recommend!

The stay in Kehei was great. The condo was very clean and well stocked. We were able to do laundry and had plenty of room to spread out. The only thing was that there seemed to be a small homeless population living in both cars and in the woods across the street. I didn't feel threatened by them, but we could see them from our balcony. Again, we didn't feel threatened nor were we approached by them and the condo was gated which helped, but as 2 females we did not like walking back from dinner or dessert in the dark by that area.

We stayed at a very expensive resort for the first two days of our trip, and here for the next two. Given we were looking to explore everything the island had to offer on our first time visiting, we should have stayed here the whole time rather than spend a boatload on a resort with a glamorous pool, golf, tennis, private beach, etc. This condo is actually what we needed. Very spacious, has everything you need, centrally-located, clean, and a nice place to settle back into.
For us (willing to spend some - but not outrageous - money, first time visitors, explorers, foodies, couple with no kids), Kihei is perfect. Not too touristy like the North, not too glitzy like Wailea, good food, good beach views, good proximity to boat tours, and very centrally located to do Hana one day, Lahaina another day, etc.
The front office for check-in was our only less than 5 star experience (they cancelled our reservation somehow and were generally very overwhelmed with minor everyday tasks), but the hosts got on top of them as soon as I messaged them.
Also keep in mind the complex is very family friendly. That may be great for you if you have a family, but for us as a couple, just keep in mind the pool and hot tubs will be full with families.

We had a great time in one of the most well appointed condos we have ever stayed in. Communication with the host was great and friendly.
We had one small issue, which we didn’t report, though I know it would have been attended to quickly if we had. The pullout bed had a bent arm, which caused the bed to lay at a slight angle, it really didn’t affect the functionality.
This is a great condo, in a great location. We will definitely book this again in the future.
