The condo was as advertised! Steps to the beach in a quiet complex. Visited in December 2023 and wildlife galore, humpback whales and their calf's, turtles, monk seals, and snorkeling as good as anywhere we went on the island. Definitely will be back.

The good:
The apartment was recently renovated, it's clean, has the latest amenities, and is located minutes from stores and public beaches. The owner provided beach towels, chairs, an umbrella, a cooler, and even snorkeling equipment. The management is responsive (for the most part - see below).
The bad:
Noise! There is no A/C, so you will almost certainly sleep with windows open. People are moving in and out, walking past your bedroom windows talking loudly, and slamming doors day and night. Also, there are wild chickens everywhere with roosters crowing all night long. So, if you want a quiet place, look elsewhere.
Another problem is that even though the management company is responsive during business hours, their after-hours support is virtually non-existent. We had an issue with the fire alarm in our unit going off 5 times in the middle of the night. I called the emergency support line and was promised that "a manager" would call me back right away. An hour later I called again and was told that "an on-call team" would get back to me but nobody did. Meanwhile, the alarm kept blasting. In the end, they contacted me after the office opened in the morning and sent an electrician to fix the issue. I was offered compensation for the troubles but having my family stay awake all night long listening to the fire alarm wasn't my idea of a dream vacation.

I gave 4 out of 5 stars because this is not a bells and whistles condo. It is in great shape with a clean kitchen and recently updated bathrooms. But it isn't a lavish property. But having said that, it's a great bargain for what you get and we were very comfortable there for the 7 days of our trip. The veranda is lovely and the view is stellar. The furniture could be updated but it is comfortable. The chart yard garden is also lovely and it's in a great location with the park/beach next door. We booked it on a whim and would book again.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The condo is well equipped for what we needed, including beach gear. We made dinner here a few times and everything worked out well.
The beach here has eroded more than we expected so we opted to use the public beach access points. They fixed the hot tub late in our stay but the pool and grills were in great shape.

I was initially disappointed with how dirty the unit was when we first arrived. The last thing I wanted to do was clean the unit just to be able to relax, but that is what we did for the first hour before settling in. The floor was disgusting, the bathrooms looked like they hadn’t been touched in months. To top it off, the available cleaning supplies were less than ideal to use to clean.
The bed frame in the master bedroom is broken, so my sleeping situation was uncomfortable for the stay.
Our kids were disappointed because the hot tub was broken. I wouldn’t put this in the review, but the property manager said all owners have known for several months about the hot tub issue. This was not stated in the property description.

When I finally got here (not that getting HERE was difficult) but, it being Tuesday- before Thanksgiving- the office was closed at 12pm. And I had searched for days beforehand for D. Susser’s name, info, ANYTHING for him- but I had nothing!
Now, I’m in a time crunch situation where- I’m tired as h to the double hockey sticks (bc I’ve gotten up at 5am my time, traveled all day, and now it’s 12am my time-8pm here). There’s a number to text, but it’s for drivers (if you don’t want to get your car towed). I try it? I get a response : “is this an emergency?” And I think to myself, no, it’s not an emergency for the tow truck driver to figure out where my owner is!?!
So, it’s~8.30pm, & I go to Travelocity? There are 2 separate units available, 1 for $2k & the other for $850, so I unwillingly go for the $850 (pre-taxes).
The next day, when I drove to Paki Maui, I’m told by David Susser, that VRBO was supposed to have emailed me a sheet with all of this info three days before my trip?
So I didn’t need worry, or fret, or press “contact VRBO” (because it will only say device disconnected, try again later!)
And don’t worry, I called David Susser, and he happily told me that VRBO was supposed to fulfill all my needs (again wrong), but he did quickly tell me about a guy who invited a guy over who happened to be a squatter (!) but he did NOT tell me that I was NOT supposed to lock the upper lock on the front door!
The entire trip would’ve been lost if it weren’t for waves

Condo comfortable. Lots of amenities packed into small space. Beachfront, could watch whales from lanai. Really appreciated the good binoculars!! Fans great, didn't get hot. Big doors opening to lanai felt like inside-out living space. Easy check-in and out. Boogie board, beach umbrella, cooler bags, beach chairs provided and great to have. Comfortable bed in bedroom. Small kitchen if you want to cook but had everything we needed, including good ice maker. Corner unit so was nice onky having neighbor on one side.
Only slightly negatives. With windows and doors open there is transiet noise, i.e., people walking by in halls, trash pick-up, lanai next door.... But short lived and to be expected for number of units packed in. View from couch is next door building because unit is on end. But if you face the ocean on lanai, you can ignore that view. First floor unit off ground so have to walk out backside, downstairs to parking lot and then take sidewalk around to front of unit. Again, not a problem but good to know ahead of time, esp if you have kids.
Easy communication with manager. Location great for walking around Honowokua. Farmer market across street several days/week. Sand beach next door at park. Ocean in front of unit has tiny sand beach at low tide with a reef out front so there is a little protected swimming area. Pool, hot tub, bbq available at other end of condos.
Good value for beachfront 1 bedroom spot that is a part of a larger pack-them -in condo spread.

It’s a great condo with beautiful views of the Pacific and neighboring Molokai and Lanai islands. Jill was so great to work with, and she always responded promptly! The check in was just a little bumpy due to Sunday check in. Bree was quickly available via phone and gave instructions and directions to the unit. It was just as pictured—very clean and well appointed. Lots of kitchen equipment. On site laundry available was a plus. The beach is really nice. We watched turtles there daily!

The condo was clean, but isn't anything fancy, just a nice beach condo. The beds were great. The small airport there was pretty noisy, and there were a lot of different noises all night. It's not a quiet place but earplugs helped.
There is no beach access on the property, nor is there any handicap access to the pool. There are a lot of homeless people to go thru at the neighboring park to get to the beach but they were all friendly. Snorkeling was awesome, and the turtles went all daylong. It was fun to watch the locals fish in the evenings from the balcony.
All of the stores were very near. Be sure to check out the farmer's market across the street.

We spent 10 days at this property for our family vacation and would do it again in a heartbeat. It was clean, in a great location, with stunning views from the balcony. We got to see several sea turtles from the lawn which was amazing. The only real drawback is that the beach is not easily accessible from the lawn due to the condition of the stairs & handrails, but there are no shortage of great beaches within a very short drive. We had a greaat time & highly recommended this property.

On the water, every afternoon we sit on the lanai and watch turtles feed on the reef less than 50 feet away. An easy walk 1 block to a market, coffee store and three excellent small restaurants / take out places. Although no beach sand on the property nice small beach park is right next door.

Great place to stay in Maui, celebrating our anniversary. The view is beautiful from the Lanai, and the place is comfortable. Loved being on the fourth (top) floor.
We were surprised by how small it seemed when we first walked in. However, after settling in, it was plenty big for two of us. The condo had everything we needed, including plenty of plugs. Opening the front and lanai doors allows cooling breeze. Sue was awesome and responsive!
The view of the ocean is beautiful. The view straight-out and to the right are unobstructed of the ocean. There is a building to the left, but you can see the ocean past it. It was fun to watch the sea turtles swim past, including one that was the largest we've seen. Sunsets are gorgeous.
There is some nice snorkeling right out from the room. It is a little difficult to get to the water. The steps down were cordoned off, and it is rocky as you go out into the water. However, it was easy enough to maneuver for us. We picked up some snorkel gear right across the street at Boss Frogs.
The facility doesn't have a beach. There is a lawn area right in front of the water, with some comfortable chaise lounges and chairs available. There is a small beach right next to the condos that is easily accessible if you're looking for sand. There are also other beaches nearby.
Short easy drive to Lahaina. We loved Honokowai Okazuya restaurant across the street. Grocery store was very close.

We had an amazing vacation and couldn't have been happier with the condo. The location is wonderful. The view from the lanai is stunning...we watched the beautiful sunset every night, and some rainbows too. We enjoyed the pool a few times and easy drives to local beaches, stores, Whaler's Village, and downtown Lahaina. Cannot beat having two bedrooms and two full bathrooms for a family of 4- plenty of room for all of us. Owners were quick to respond when we had some plumbing trouble and the issue was fixed right away. No complaints and would stay again in a heartbeat if we're ever lucky enough to get to Maui again!

The condo suited all our needs for a comfortable stay. Ice chests, beach chairs, umbrella, snorkel equipment and towels all provided. PLENTY of bath towels and wash clothes. Loved having a washer/drier and dishwasher. Could use some updated pots and pans as one of the perks to renting a condo is the ability to cook at home.
This is our 2nd year in a row staying in this unit and no progress has been made to fix the stair access to the beach or to fix/replace 1 of the 2 BBQs, which was disappointing. Pool and spa very well maintained.

We loved this property. We had breakfast and dinner every night on the balcony and listened to the soft sounds of the ocean waves crashing on shore. I would highly recommend this place to any couple or family with small children, which was the case in our trip. I wouldn't suggest this for 4 adults or family with teenagers as it will be crowded due to the size. The location was great. We were not far from anything you would want or need. Sue was amazing and was very nice. She reached out to me via phone call to make sure a small issue with the tv in the bedroom was resolved. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you Sue.

The room, view, location and ease of booking all made it difficult to leave when our vacation ended. We wish we had booked one more day so we could just sit on the lanai and enjoy the view of coffee/tea and pastries. We did manage to catch a few minutes here or there. One afternoon between going up to Haleakula for the sunrise and out in Napili Bay to snorkel, we saw a pod of dolphins off shore. Every day we saw a turtle or two swimming by. And a quick note, when the sun sets, that is just the beginning of the gorgeous light show (stick around until the stars come out). Mahalo for the Aloha!

We love the place. It's perfect location to have a front view of the ocean. There are only couple of things we'd like to change. First is the sofa, it needs to be re upholstered. Second, the Bathroom fixtures needs to be updated and the shower faucets needs to be replaced to newer easier control
And the tub has to go. Third, is the carpet. It needs to be replaced with same tiles as the living room or change the whole flooring. No more carpets. Other than that the place is perfect!!👍

Lovely location with a view right onto the ocean and nearby islands! This was a great location for our family of four. There is a beach next door and even better beaches within a five minute drive. Some gems nearby to walk to or an easy drive to other restaurants and services. Having a kitchen and lanai was really helpful for dining in and having enough space for all of us to decompress after a day in the sun was nice as well. Maybe consider a mattress topper for the queen bed, as it was a little soft for us, but that's up to your own preferences.

Booked with My Perfect Stays and would absolutely do it again. Their communication was awesome. Answered every question quickly before the trip and checked in with us multiple times during our stay. The Concierge service was also helpful for answering questions and providing guidance. Unit #104 was perfect for our party of four adults. First floor, water front unit with beautiful views, sunsets and easy access to the lawn area, sand at low tide and water for snorkeling. Kitchen was well equipped, the starter items of paper towels, toilet paper, shampoo etc. were perfect. The unit also had beach chairs, beach towels, cooler, beach umbrellas, clothes drying rack, two T.V.s and more. It was really well equipped at no extra charge. Free parking was really nice and we always had a spot regardless of time. We were within walking distance of restaurants and shops and a 10-15 min. drive from Lahaina and the north beaches. Highly recommend this complex, Unit 104 and My Perfect Stays for booking. Our trip could not have been better. Thank you Ginger, Kai and everyone at My Perfect Stays!

It was a perfect location for all the activities we wanted to do during our stay. The customer service received through My Perfect Stays was responsive and timely. The only issue we had during our stay was no internet or cable during the first two days due to an account issue with the owner, but My Perfect Stays remedied the issue as soon as we notified them. We just love the views of the islands of Lanai'i and Molokai as well as the sea turtles right by the beach and pods of whales between the islands. The unit has a new set of binoculars for us to use from the top floor balcony. The views are amazing. We enjoyed a good night sleep from the beds in both of the bedrooms. We noticed some new furniture, new artwork, and new kitchens appliances and new pots & pans since our previous springtime visit. We love this unit. Front desk MPS staff were very nice and helpful.

We had the perfect 6 days at Paki Maui this last week. Starting with our accommodations which were clean, decorated and appointed nicely and the absolute perfect location for experiencing beautiful sunsets and close up whalewatching from the balcony of Number 105. The kitchen was well stocked with the appliances we needed for cooking and mixing those special Hawaiian cocktails. The master bed was a dream and we both slept so well with the fan and ocean breeze lulling us to sleep each night....the location to the great fish market across the street and wa simple walk to Duke's restaurant were added pluses. We can't wait to return next year.

I called MyPerfectStays several times with questions and they were very nice and helpful. The on-site staff was also nice and helpful with questions during our stay. The property was nice and the location was perfect with our unit directly facing the ocean. The views were wonderful. The unit met our needs but could use some updating. The bathrooms were very nice, the bedrooms were adequate, the living room furniture cushions were clean but stained and the kitchen had everything we needed. If you are looking to avoid a resort-type stay this is a good option.

I never write reviews, but I just couldn't stop myself from writing a 5-star review for this condo. This condo was absolute paradise. I have only ever stayed in hotels in Maui, but this condo was a game changer. I felt so relaxed here without the hustle and bustle that comes with large hotels. It was incredibly peaceful being able to hear the sound of waves from the living room - and being able to make coffee while looking out in the ocean was a dream. This place was also walking distance to food trucks, coffee shops, restaurants & even a grocery store. The location was unbeatable too - we were right in the middle of Lahaina and Kapalua, so we never had to walk or drive too far to adventure out. We have already told all of our friends that they need to stay here when they visit Maui. I still cant stop thinking about that ocean view!

Condo location makes staying here uncomfortable as it is very noisy especially after 9pm. Cars traveling at high rate of speed and loud engine roaring. Transit bus drives through early morning. Rooster crowing early morning so guests do not get restful sleep. The master shower is disgusting with mold. It looks like it wasn't cleaned. Sliding screen doors appear to be broken as they fall off their glide. The guest bathroom door knob is broken as you cannot open door if closed. The exterior building maintenance is lacking. It looks like it needs a good spray wash. Concrete and building dusty and dirty. Carpeted outdoor hall is extremely dirty and not kept swept or vaccumed. Bird feces on concrete. Beach stair well access collapsed and not available. Overall building needs maintenance.

Here's the Pros and Cons of this unit:
Pros:
- View
- Close to some of our preferred food locations
Cons:
- Hard to sleep: We are beach people BUT the unit is on the first floor and the waves crash loud enough to take away from a relaxing sleep. We love the sounds of the ocean but not this loud.
- NO A/C: No a/c means you have to keep the doors open at all times or it gets HOT in this unit. Down side is the comment above.
- Roaches: Had to kill Roaches. I understand these islands have bugs but sucks when you have to watch where you walk at night or food in the kitchen.
- Master Bed: the left side of the bed has damaged coils so you sink into the bed making it difficult to get comfortable. My wife is 110lbs and she even sank in this dip. Needs a new mattress.
- Ceiling Fans Loose: the living room fan needs to be turned on high due to the lack of A/C but it wobbles to where we thought it would fall off.
Could have been a better experience with some changes like A/C so we can drown out some of the noise by closing doors even partially. A comfortable mattress would have definitely helped in the sleeping process and keeping up with the pest control is a must. Simple items that make a big difference especially when paying good money on a vacation.

Resort was undergoing construction which orange barricades obstructed ocean view from balcony. Stairs that lead to beach were broken and unable to be used restricting direct beach access. Condo does not have screen door to allow air to flow through, which made condo very hot since it did not have air conditioner. Kitchen was full of ants even when all food was put away and cabinets were wiped down. Also found a large cockroach during stay. I got a promotional price that was cheaper than the normal pricing and it was not worth it. I would absolutely not pay the normal pricing. Would not stay here again, other places with better amenities for same price or cheaper.

Thank you for the amazing hospitality. The condo was clean, secure and had all of the amenities and some bonus amenities to make our stay perfect. The provided beach chairs, beach towels and umbrella were a pleasant surprise! Location was perfect - walking distance to beach, coffee shops, shopping, restaurants, food trucks and so much more. The views from our balcony were absolutely stunning! Rainbows over the ocean watching the whales breech was breath taking. The property was well maintained and others on property were friendly and respectful. The beds were comfortable and linens freshly cleaned. Condo was perfect for two adult couples. I would recommend this property to others, the views alone are worth it.

My husband and I experienced our first vacation since 2005 at your beautiful resort. I cannot say enough about how wonderful, clean and centrally located to everything that we needed the resort is. We have rented this place for the passed 2 years. It is a great location with a beautiful view from the condo lani. The beach facilities and pool are good. The only drawback was the spa jets were not working but it was heated. Highly recommended!!!

The location is perfect, right on the ocean! The sound of the waves day and night were so tranquil. The kitchen is updated but the rest of the condo is in need of a little tlc. We were surprised to find the unit did not have any beach chairs, but to be fair they were not listed in the description, and the umbrella was broke. Otherwise our stay was amazing! We loved the easy access to the beach and the fish market across the street.

The property was disgustingly dirty and unkempt. There is evidence of a longstanding lack of maintenance and care of the property. Leaves and debris cluttered the entranceway, parking lot, common areas and were left there for more than a week. The hard surfaces were badly stained and had not been washed in a long time.The pool was dirty and had leaves and debris raining down and blowing in it daily. The condo itself was ok and is the only reason we did not give a lower rating . One issue is that the patio screen was off the tracks.

Wonderful Condo!! I stayed seven days and it was gorgeous. The grounds are well kept and the staff was friendly. The condo is beautiful and THE VIEW! The view was amazing. Every night you watch the sun set from the beautiful balcony. I highly recommend Paki Maui.

Beautiful condo right on the Breakwall overlooking the ocean. We could see Wales from our lanai. The condo needs a few more amenities in the kitchen as far as utensil's pots and pans better than that it was clean and comfortable.

I distinguish the property from the administration here. Property was ok (older but well maintained). Location was good (near essential shopping and beside a beachfront park). The condo complex location is wonderful - close to many places to eat. That was an unexpected bonus. The lack of A/C can really make a difference, depending on the time of year of your stay. Even in December, it was warm at night. The unit's bedroom also faces the street and parking lot so it's loud. And to really get any sleep, you will need to close the window because of traffic, guests, and roosters crowing. The unit is close to the stairs to the parking lot which makes it easy to get in and out, bring in groceries, etc. All in all, a good stay and great getaway!

Great place, great price! Close to many restaurants and right by the coast. Also very close to all the popular beaches. Although the place doesn't have ac, the constant ocean breeze kept the place nice and cool. You get a nice view of the ocean as well from the balcony. In addition, the owner provides beach chairs, a boogie board, and snorkeling fins for guests to use. Overall, my family and I really enjoyed our stay. Thank you My Perfect Stays!

Studio as described in listing. Pros: Clean with good amenities. Enjoyed watching for whales and looking at the beautiful ocean. Reasonably priced for location with lots of walkable nearby restaurants. Snorkeling right in front of condo. Property management always available and easy access. Cons: Light sleepers beware as the sound of the waves at night are loud and there is no air conditioning so you will want to leave your sliding door open at night to cool the condo. This may not be a problem if renting a bedroom unit verses a studio unit. Also to note is that there is not much beach to walk on. We drove to Whalers Village and found public parking to take beach walks. If visiting again, we would select another condo with air conditioning and with the amenity of taking long walks on the beach from the condo. Overall a great stay and would recommend.

The condo was really nice. Everything was clean and tidy and there were plenty of towels and home goods. We could hear the waves from our room at night and it was very soothing. We had a problem with the sliding glass doors and it was immediately taken care of by staff. The second bedroom was a bit small and the toilets got clogged a few times (a plunger was provided). We also had a problem with tiny ants in the bathroom, but it wasn't a major deal. We also had a small view of the beach since we were the last unit in the building, but that was my booking. The beach area was lovely and there were plenty of lounge chairs for the guests. They had a BBQ and a pool, but we did not use those, although I did see others use this amenity. Truly it was a wonderful time and I would go there again.

We did a 3 island hopper trip, Maui being our last stop. What a wonderful place, the ocean/beach view from the balcony was spectacular with awesome sunsets. Kitchen had anything you would need, we only used the fridge. The bed was comfortable The inner garden view was very green and lush as well Small pool (4ft all around) and Jacuzzi, my wife loved it as well, hit the jacuzzi every night, too hot for my taste though. Wanted to fire up the grill, but wife preferred dining out, or just snacking on the balcony Larry the front desk guy gave us some good tips, and was a great guy (wish I had his job) We had booked this place the night before, check in was a breeze, and we came in past 10pm, was doing the road to Hana after landing, a beautiful road, with cool waterfalls along the way. Have to stay very alert on that road. No A/C, but not an issue (even with day weather near 90s), left the big windows open at night to listen to the waves, and seemed there was always a cool breeze and the ceiling fans surely helped. We didn't actually stay in the room much during the day, too busy exploring other areas, or just hanging at our sandy/grassy beach area (some rocks are shown in pictures, but there is a nice sandy entrance, and all sand in the water) We liked this beach better than any others we checked out on this side of island (wife isn't a fan of waves/rough surf, but I got those activities done on previous islands) nice grassy area with beach chairs was great, never had an issue grabbing a couple. Bad Ass coffee shop right across the street, a place to rent snorkel, paddle board, boogie boards, and a couple restaurants, we opted for the food trucks down the street for dinner and shaved ice 1 night, was tasty. Perfect location to enjoy other areas as well, near Napili Beach, Lahaina, Kannapali, beautiful beaches to the north. Black Rock cliff jump was fun, a bit more difficult to get up there than Waimea Bay on Oahu. My wife's suggestion for the room was to upgrade the tub/shower and kitchen area, (she's a bit spoiled) but no way I could downgrade from 5 stars for this place for that. It served it's purpose. And the view and location alone is 5 star all the way, we'll definitely be back to PakiMaui and/or use MyPerfectStays again. Sorry we had to leave and back to reality Mahalo

My first time to Maui for a wonderful fun filled and relaxing vacation. Condo offers a relaxing updated environment with all the amenities(washer and dryer, microwave, dishwasher, pool, lounge chairs by the ocean) you will need for your vacation. Conveniently located to grocery store, fabulous Fish market offering same day fresh caught fish, breakfast at Slappy Cakes, evening local food trucks and Ka'anapali Beach for swimming.

We had a GREAT time at Paki Maui. With endless surf our out balcony and 3 rainbows a day seen from our front door. The protected beach area is perfect for kids with a long stretch of shallow water AND sea turtles swimming by every day. We hope to return again in the future.

Where to begin this place was simply magical. From the moment you walk passed the myperfectstays check in desk the first thing you see is the Ocean and you know your in for a great time. What a great little Studio. The Kitchen and Living room area are great with new flooring, view is amazing. Internet is decent! The 2 down falls are, the Bathroom could get a little upgrade and when your left and right neighbors are on there lanai, they can see you if you are on your bed! One other thing, it can be hot in there. You can open the front door and you will have a great cross breeze but no screen door for security!

This place is such a nice getaway for a couple who enjoys savoring a meal while watching the waves lap against their beachfront view. Spectacular spot to also enjoy whale watching. The location is great for access to food, groceries and across the street from a local fish market. You can walk to Dukes restaurants and Westin facilities such as their spa facilities. Hikes are just a short distance away. But the beach, pool, hot tub and barbacue are all right in front with ocean views, so no need to really go anywhere...just relax and enjoy the view right on your patio here. Loved this quiet spot.

competitively priced condo near Kaanapali. Beach is a 5 minutes walk down stairs. Great take fish place is across the street and food trucks are down the street. Development was mostly quiet after 10. There is no AC and no in unit washer-dryer and pricing reflects this. Bedroom closet sliding doors are sticky and prone to not closing. The bed is about four feet off the floor and is the highest bed I have ever slept in. There is a blow up bed in the closet and with the sofa in the living room this would be a good fit for families, college. istudents and budget conscious travelers like me.

While the condo has a beautiful view and easy ocean access the pictures of the interior are very deceiving. The condition of the condo is so-so, it is extremely outdated. Furniture needs to be replaced and the two twin beds are extremely uncomfortable. The other major downfall is the horrendous smell coming from the sinks in both bathrooms, smells like sewage as does the bathrooms near the pool. Overall, while it was a great location I wouldn't be back.

The unit is very well located in Lahaina, close to great dining and shopping options. The condo's beach is very nice and great for viewing sunsets and it was well equipped with everything we needed. We spent 3 weeks there and we had a great time. Two small comments that keep this from being 5 stars is that the unit is very warm, even with the fans that are provided. This is not the owners fault, just the location of the apartment in the building. Also the pull out bed sheets had some stains.
