The view from the lanai spans the Auau channel and encompasses a view of the islands of Molokai. You will see turtles lunching on seaweed off the reef any time of the year, and if your stay between mid-November to mid-April you will be treated to the show the humpback whales put on while teaching their newborns to swim!

Paki Maui was built to take advantage of the breezes and channel the air through the condo spaces. It is one of the first condo complexes built on the west side of Maui and has a lush garden surrounding a Koi pond, and a fabulous lawn above the seawall for relaxing and enjoying the view.
The condo is a very spacious 2 bedroom, one with a queen and one with a king size bed. There is a pullout couch is a queen size for parties of up to 6. The front bathroom has a step in shower, the master bath has a separate vanity and water closet for convenience with a tub..
This condo has a washer and dryer in the unit. We provide laundry soap for your 1st weeks stay.
Plenty of seating around the table with a leaf to make it a bit bigger, and a large sectional couch and extra seating available as well.
The kitchen is very clean and very well equipped for cooking light snacks or big meals.
Please note AC is not provided at Paki Maui. The architecture was designed to keep every unit cooled and even in mid summer you will find the walls cool to the touch and the condos well ventilated from a central ventilation system.

You have the entire condo for your use!
Our check in time is 5pm, and check out is 11am.

We utilize a self check in program. You will be provided with parking, access and WiFi information prior to arrival.

Honokowai is a mix of visitor and working neighborhood community. There are single family homes aside apartment and resort communities. It's a place where neighbors stop and chat on the beach, in the park and on the street.
There is a Farmers Market (our fave for local produce!), grocery store and numerous and varied restaurants all within walking distance.
A very short walk south will put you at the end of the Honua Kai Beach walk that runs 3 miles south to Black Rock and The Whalers Village Shopping Center.

We recommend a rental car for at least a portion of your stay, the island has some unique and lovely remote corners. If you choose to rely on public transportation though, there is The Maui Bus, Uber or Lyft available.

*We provide dish soap, hand and bath soap, coconut shampoo and conditioner, and enough toilet paper and paper towels to see you through your first weeks stay. There are some condiments and spices in the condo, but if you have favorites you like to use, you may want to bring some with you, some grocery items on Maui are expensive.
We provide beach towels, beach chairs and coolers. there may be some beach gear as well. It's best to check before you purchase anything. We recommend renting snorkel gear for the best fit and hygiene.
*Please note - Paki Maui is AC free. AC is not offered or allowed at this location. Paki Maui was built to take advantage of the breezes and channel the air through the condo spaces. There is an air circulation system that draws air through the buildings. This unit comes with ceiling fans and extra floor fans.
*We take your safety and well-being seriously. We have a comprehensive cleaning and sanitizing program for this property. Our cleaning service and on-site staff are spending as much time as necessary to make sure that all areas of your rental are thoroughly cleaned before you check in.
We ask you to plan ahead as we may not be able to allow early check ins and late check outs as often as we would like.

We had a wonderful time in #325. We didn't need airconditioning, there are lots of fans and the weather wasn't too hot (March). The apartment is well equipped and Heather was brilliant at sorting out a minor problem. My grand daughter loved the pool and we had a great time exploring the island, swimming with turtles and whale watching. We'll be back! (one small note: parking is very tight so don't rent a big car!)

Overall the condo was clean and the location is ideal, lots of shopping dining within walking distance. However the condo itself needs a little updating, new curtains, fresh coat of paint, but most importantly a new front door. The front door has a huge hole in it on the bottom frame, bugs are always an issue but this gaping hole doesn’t help to keep out the critters. We didn’t leave any food out and took the garbage out once we were done with it and we saw ants everyday and one day saw a roach. The washer and dryer could be updated as well. We have stayed in other condos in this same complex without these issues, for a lot less money, hence my disappointment. I recommend that the owner take some of the money it makes to update this condo before I would recommend anyone to stay there. Especially a new front door. Sorry, but I had to be honest on this review, we frequently visit the island and love this location but until this condo is updated will not stay in this particular until again.

Good location, quiet, great views, could use updating as I think a refresh would be a good investment and the unit could charge more, paint, bathroom fixtures and furniture /art, but that is a personal opinion

Beautiful partial ocean view. The condo was clean and roomy; however, we thought the front door could use replacing. My sister and I spent 5 nights there and appreciated the washer/ dryer being in the unit. Beach chairs were a little rusty. Sitting outside on the grassy area overlooking the ocean was so nice.

This location is perfect...we've stayed at Paki Maui multiple times and the lanai and view never disappoint. This unit was well equipped with plenty of beach towels and bath towels, bedding, etc. The in-unit washer/dryer come in handy (bring your own detergent or grab some at the ABC store). Be sure to pick up extra paper towels at the store (there was only 1 roll for our week stay). Distanced just far enough from downtown Lahaina to be "away", but close enough for a quick 10 min drive. We had a fantastic stay.
