DT Fleming Beach Park, Maui
DT Fleming Beach Park offers good swimming with occasional boogie boarding surf. This is a big beach that can easily accommodate its patrons, but it does get busy on weekends. No snorkeling as the water tends to be cloudy. Many cite DT Fleming beach as being named the best beach in the USA at some point in time. We thought we were very generous by naming it the 18th best in Hawaii. The beach is best enjoyed in the morning before the winds pick.up.
