Great experience: Walk to the beach in 2 minutes, very roomy, well equipped. airy and comfy. Top floor benefit: High Ceiling, very quiet, and wonderful views.
Only complain: the photos on Vrbo don't show how good this unit actually it is!
Already recommend this property to my friends and families. For us, we will rebook next time when we are visiting Maui.

I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay for my first trip to Maui!
Communication was very easy and we were provided a PDF file of everything we needed to know. Checking in was a breeze, no in-person contact needed which was great as we arrived at 10pm. A lot of the reviews talk about the assigned parking space so we decided to park outside on the grass. It was great because it was shaded with lots of room but if you have a low car be careful of the tree roots as there were many times we scraped our front bumper on them.
The condo itself was amazing! It had various appliances, utensils, shampoo & conditioner, and so many beach accessories!! There were various snorkelling equipment, beach chairs, boogie boards, pool floats, umbrella, mats, etc. If you stay here you do not have to worry at all about equipment! One thing we really loved about the condo was how sound proof is it. Once we shut the door to the main bedroom you could barely hear anyone talking in the second bedroom, even with the lanai doors open. This was a huge bonus!
The location was perfect for us because we planned to go out to explore everyday so we were far out enough from the main shopping centre so we never had to deal with traffic. There is a beach across the condo that is pretty nice, but is not our favourite because it is really rocky at some points. Be careful on the rocks because unfortunately a wave hit me pretty hard and I lost a toe-nail on a rock! But this beach had so many turtles when we were swimming close to shore, it was amazing to see!
Overall I couldn’t recommend this place enough, we will absolutely be coming back whenever we come to Maui again!

Our stay was absolutely perfect.
Fantastic location, so close to the beach, amenities and highway access.
Loved that the condo had a full kitchen, wash and dryer, beach chairs, A/C, two bathrooms, and private balcony.
Property owner was great with communication and accommodated us when I needed to extend my stay due to unforeseen circumstances.
We would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend! Thank you for a perfect getaway for my family.

Bill was a pleasure to deal and made sure that all of the necessities were in the unit. My family (me, my wife, and my 7 year old son) had a great time.
Beds were comfortable. Building is conveniently located. Everything in the unit worked well. Lots of extras like full snorkel equipment, beach chairs, an umbrella, beach mats, towels, floaties, boogie boards, and more. Everything in the kitchen worked well. TV was a bit finnicky, but we weren't there to watch TV. Wifi worked well. Two sets of keys was greatly appreciated.
Pool use at the complex is a bit...underwhelming. The signage might as well say "no fun." We aren't rowdy by any stretch, but a family with kids in the 7-10 range were there when we were there and just tossing a ball around - not making a big ruckus, but having a bit of fun, and the assistant manager came out to tell them not to. Sure, those are the rules, but one can't help but wonder why. Small issue and easily resolved by going to the beach 100 metres away.
Lots of decent food nearby (Fred's was good for breakfast, Coconuts for tacos, etc) - most of it a short walk. Convenient location to go play golf at Wailea.
Overall, no complaints and very happy with the unit and would be happy to return.

We have been staying at Haleakala Shores for about 10 years and wouldn’t stay anywhere else. The property is well managed, chose to shopping/dining and directly across from an amazing beach. This unit is on the 4th floor of the A building and very close to the pool and BBQ. The 4th floor units have vaulted ceilings and feel extra spacious. Watched the Wailea New Years Eve fireworks from the balcony! Would stay again.

This stay was worth every penny! The condo was sufficiently stocked with entertainment items, as well as extra linens. The owner was very fast in responding to any inquiries that we had. For the price we paid for our stay at this condo we could not even have gotten a cheap hotel, and the fact that we were staying right across the beach made the experience that much better! I would recommend this owner and condo to anyone. The only issue that we had was the parking! We were in a smaller SUV, so it took a little getting used to to park under the overhang. I did get used to it very fast though, but if you are driving a larger vehicle I would recommend parking on the street, there are usually plenty of open spaces. Mahalo William for the amazing stay!

We loved this property! it was so airy and spacious. we met our son and daughter in law and 2 grandchildren in Maui and spent 4 nights here. proximity to the beach was great (a very nice beach park). the location was convenient to road to Hana and Hale'akala, which we loved. shopping was convenient. We loved the unit. the parking space was a little tricky to get into - we had been warned by the owner. but overall - this is a great rental!

Right across the street from the beach. Owner is excellent to work with. We could not have enjoyed our stay more. Parking is a little tight for a large vehicle but we parked a BMW suv with no problem. Just follow the owners instructions which are very thorough down to the TV. I sincerely hope to return to this condo.

This was a perfect property to stay and enjoy Maui! Highly recommend walk to good and beaches easy! Kids loved the boogie boards. A/C was perfect for those muggy days we stayed in for lunch!

Host confirmed rate and dates, then changed it after arrival. Host stated property unable to be cleaned. Host then changed the rate to a higher amount. I flew 8 hrs to Hawaii and had no place to stay. Due to Host attempting to cheat me. Renter BEWARE

Great condo for a great price and Location is amazing! Owner is very responsive and allowed early check in which was nice. We’re glad the complex has an elevator since the condo is on the 4th floor and some days we were exhausted! On mellow days we really enjoyed the pool. The Beds are comfortable and the condo had everything we needed during our week here. The only negative (which is not the owners fault) there’s an extremely nosy neighbor who spys on everyone to make sure you are following all the rules and to boss you around… at times it was odd because he’d be just watching us walk around or while in the pool & asked if we knew the rules many times even while we were following the rules🤷🏼♀️ He must be very bored with his retirement 😂 Overall, We really enjoyed our stay, Mahalo!

This is a little older apartment, but cared for and clean. The space for a family is PERFECT. Love having two bedrooms, two baths, kitchen and family room. And laundry is the cherry on top. You are across the street from an amazing beach, we saw lots of sea turtles, and a short walk from a few restaurants. A short drive (5 minutes) gets you two a larger eating selection and a full mall. Will stay here again for sure. AND management could not have been any better!!!! Completely on top of all the changing COVID rules and made sure to contact us as changes were happening as our stay approached. Incredibly helpful!

The condo is perfect. Well stocked and very very clean. Great host!!!!! Easy to get to condo. Corner condo with a pool view as well as a ocean. Everything was great inside the condo. They have spices seasoning and all kinds. We left stuff as well to help the next family coming in. Super comfortable master bed!!! OMG!!!!! I have already looked at other dates to stay here again.
The over all Property Manager who lives on site super rude. Not nice and very noisy. Kept coming by our door and listening to us. I opened the front door a couple of times and he was standing at it. Telling me we needed to keep the noise down because people lived there for 25 years and they don’t wanna hear all this racket!!! My grandson was laughing and playing at 11:30 am the first time then again at 8 pm. Super weird. He kept walking around the pool area grumbling and then shut the pool down for 2 days to put Chlorine in it but he did say that he didn’t want these many people at the pool. There was my family for 4 another couple and another family. All well spaced out. There is a sign in the main office that effective May 14th you no longer have to reserve the pool area you just needed to wear a face covering and that the pool area was open from 9 AM to 9 PM. On Sunday at 8:05 PM he was kicking everybody out of the pool.
In whole I would stay here again and again. Location is great I probably wouldn’t bring my grandson if I came back here or I don’t recommend having kids at this location if the on site manager is the same.

This home had everything we needed. Plenty of cookware, kitchen accessories, plates cups and more! The bedrooms had comfy beds, extra linens, towels and all the beach toys you need. Plenty of beach chairs, shade umbrella's, boogie boards, snorkel masks and fins! The patio/lanai faced a neighboring complex looking over the tennis courts which provided entertainment while having breakfast in the mornings. This unit is near the community area w/ a pool and BBQ area (great & clean BBQ's!). The grounds and community area are very well cared for and cleaned every day. This is our 2nd stay in the complex and we love being across the street from a great beach & park with grassy areas, picknick benches, bathroom and showers overlooking a sandy beach that is great for snorkeling, small surf and snorkeling with pleanty of turtles to be seen every day. Its walking distance to coffee, cafe's restaurants, shopping and surf rentals. We will be back!

Condo was perfect size for our party of 6. Lanai was nice size with a small ocean view. AC was a plus. Perfect location for us. We love Kihei. Only downside was condo could use some updating. But nothing that should prevent anyone from staying there. Lots of beach equipment, which we used a lot. Very much enjoyed our stay.

There was everything and more that we could have asked for there. I like the size of the property and how comfortable we felt there. What a wonderful find! Seriously,my favorite rental to date. This condo fit our needs perfectly. From the beginning,communication was always fast and helpful. I found rates to be very reasonable.
The condo itself is an end unit.You can either use the steps right there or walk (maybe?) 25 yards to the elevator- recommended for move in/check out/Costco shops! Lol- I used the stairs a lot to work off gelato,shave ice,etc.. The cross breezes combined w/ fans really do a nice job keeping the unit comfortable. We did use the AC a few times but it's only necessary for short periods of time. It was nice to have the option,but even nicer to not really need! Beds are on the firm side but we all slept well. Pillows are a little flatter than what I use at home. Bathrooms were stocked with good towels and had a hair dryer if you need. Good water pressure but stationary ,not hand held shower head.
Living room very spacious and the furniture is comfortable.(Chairs recline back too). Nice TV with plenty of channels. We ate all but one meal on the spacious patio rather than inside at the DR table. Kitchen was by far the best stocked of any home rental I have ever booked. He had everything I could have needed right down to tupperware,measuring spoons,and spices.Plenty of everything! This is a huge plus in my eyes. I hate having to buy necessities you have no inclination to bring home with you-especially in such an expensive place to grocery shop. We added a few unopened things to the stash when we left. The cleaning supplies are accessible and we were able to stay tidy,esp sweeping sand up.
The pool area is definitely quiet and people who live here will not hesitate to call out noise . We knew this in advance and did spend two nights at a large resort so the kids had fun in a pool..but we used this pool a few times with no problems personally. I would be remiss to not admit the parking spot is not easy,but got used to it quickly-if you have a backup camera it's fine! Across from Kam3 beach,which we loved.A great supply of everything you need for a day at the beach is waiting for you.
In closing- this vacation will be hard to beat. We are all looking forward to visiting again and I wouldn't bother researching other rentals when that time comes. Simply a magical trip with a wonderful home base. Mahalo!!

Bill's place was awesome! He had all the things needed to walk across to the beach! We used the beach chairs and ice chest! His place is walking distance to many great little restaurants! We really liked Da Kitchen! I just wished we had more time on Maui! Next time!

We really enjoyed our stay at your condo. Plenty of room for 4 adults and 2 grandbabies. Very comfortable king bed. Twin beds were not the most comfortable, but we're OK. We actually put the thick foam memory pad on top of twins converted to king and even though it didn't fit perfectly it made a very comfortable bed. Loved the porch to sit on. We used it for every meal we ate in. Location was great. Parking place was difficult to get in, but once we learned the best way to park it to was ok.it was great to have all the beach equipment there. I will let you know that some of the material was ripping on the beach chairs and the frame was broken on one. Some previous renter had left a lot of sand in the sand toys like thy had never even rinsed them off so we rinsed all the toys off. Thanks again for the use of you condo. Lynn wilson

The property was clean, easy to find and just as we expected. We liked the location being close to downtown Kihei. The owner did an excellent job of communicating and making sure we had everything we needed. I only give four stars because the furniture was a bit old and needs to be updated. Beds were hard and not very comfortable. But otherwise a great find for the price.

We loved our stay in Kihei. The condo is perfectly located and there are several state beaches literally across the street. Bill has lots of beach towels, mats, boogie boards, chairs, coolers, snorkel equipment and umbrellas for use. The condo is roomy, comfortable and nicely decorated and we liked that there are two bedrooms with king size beds (the guest room can be either two twins or a king) and each has its own bathroom. The pool area is beautiful and is directly below the condo and there are six gas grills and lots of tables to use for dining. The lanai area was really nice with a round table and four chairs. The kitchen has everything you could want and we did make a number of meals there. Bill also keeps of folder full of his top recommendations of things to do, which was really helpful. What we liked most about this condo is the location. It was nice being just steps away from the beaches, and the Kihei area is really nice with many restaurants, stores, and markets and close to other areas like Wailea (great water sports area...kayaking, canoeing, snorkeling, etc.), big beach/little beach. It is easy to get to other areas of the island like the West side, Upcountry, North, and Haleakala. Kihei is the best place to stay in Maui and we would definitely return to this condo.
