They did a renovation after a flood this year. So everything in the condo seems new including the flooring which is nice. The place is nicely decorated as well. It was easy to find. The only issues I had was a towel that smelled bad and there was ants everywhere (on floor, on the sink and table). Maybe that’s from the tropical storm Calvin? Overall, a great stay!

This place was a great spot. It was newly renovated and was clean. We didn't use the space for much more than sleeping as we were out enjoying all that Maui has to offer each day, and the mattress was very comfortable. My only "complaint" is that the fitted bed sheets kept sliding off the mattress causing us to get up in the middle of the night to reposition them a few times. Not a huge deal and wouldn't deter us from staying here again.

The instructions on finding the property were spot on. Had some issues and the owners were easily reached and helpful. One even flew in the next day from another island to fix the TV. Awesome! Location was perfect for us and we ate at the suggested restaurant Da Kitchen which proved enjoyable. Saw many locals going their.

Great little spot! Nothing fancy but worth every penny. Very accurate listing - The bed is comfy, tv was great, ac was cold. Most of the appliances and kitchen supplies are older but everything works and is pretty well stocked. Beach supplies and towels came in handy. Very cool beach across the street where turtles hang everyday. There is an Indian restaurant “Monsoon” close as well, great for sunset or a night cap. Also, a great sushi spot “Isana” right down the street which is one of the best on the island. Had a great 3 week stay.

Worked well for a our short stay in Kihei, if we had to be picky just wished the ac unit was in a better location to circulate the condo evenly. Very clean, had all the amenities, thanks a bunch enjoyed our stay!

This was an adorable studio. Well equipped kitchen. A bit bigger than a large hotel room, comfy king bed. Pull out couch. Nice private lanai and updated bathroom and lots of beach stuff available for use. Clean. Very short walk across the street to a nice public beach. We didn’t get a chance to use the pool so I can’t speak for that.

Great location, loved the pool and closeness to the beach. The studio could have been a lot cleaner. Floors needed to be mopped and swept under the bed, hideabed sofa, moveable kitchen cupboards. The stove top needed cleannng under the burners and the oven needed cleaning as well instead of just putting tin foil down. The drip pans under the burners on the stove did not fit! When we arrived the bathroom sink would not drain - plugged with hair, the kitchen sink would not drain and baseboards were covered in old sticky dust. The lanai / deck had not been washed- lots of sticky dirty spots and a lot of sand. We really appreciated having air conditioning and black out curtains.

The hosts were lovely to communicate with and left amazing instructions for everything. It was a great little place for my fiancé and I. Clean, comfortable big bed, nice shower, all appliances, TV with Netflix and high speed wifi, it was everything we needed. The only small negative was there were no extra garbage bags or laundry soap in the condo for us to use, and the snorkel equipment was left in the outdoor bin all sandy and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned from the last stay. Overall, we are very happy with our stay at Kihei Bay Surf and had an amazing trip to Maui. Mahalo!

The condo had a great beach vibe going on! Had all the amenities you need as far as essentials, shampoos, body wash, dish detergents. Awesome to have beach chairs to take with us, although we couldn’t find an umbrella. Enjoyed our stay!

Freshly updated, convenient first floor unit, small but well-appointed located directly across the street from a wonderful public beach. Comfortable king bed, updated bath with nice walk-in shower, well-equipped small kitchen with dishwasher. Window air-conditioner struggles a little to keep up on hot muggy days. Good communication from hosts.

This property is very cute for what it is. This is a studio condo in Kihei. The condo is clean and appeared to be well maintained. I was a little bummed no coffee was available to brew. They provide a coffee pot, filters, mugs etc, but no actual coffee. There isn't much of a view from this condo either, you are directly facing the tennis courts. Again, not a huge deal just worth mentioning for those who may want a view. All in all we enjoyed the evening and were comfortable with our stay. I would stay here again.

wanted to let you know how disappointed we were with the rental, very old, furniture and screens damaged, appliance out dated, shower wasn’t clean (slimy walls) couch pull out was also very out dated and oder (like place was full of antiques) and AC didn’t work (wouldn’t cool)

Great central location with easy walk to beach(great sunsets). Everything we needed to cook, hang out at the beach, and feel relaxed and at home. They had fast wifi and nice selection of blurays/dvds. Also I could stream my Netfllix over their TV as well. Overall nice and modern unit which was clean and comfy. We've stayed at other units st the Kihei Bay Surf, and this one by far is the best so far. The King bed was a plus. It was comfy and made for a good nights sleep. We would definitely come back again. Thanks for a wonderful experience. This sure was a better deal than staying at some pricey hotel.

The condo was very nicely furnished with matching decor. When we arrived, it was a little early and I was able to text Aaron to see if we were able to check in earlier than the regular 3pm check in. I got a reply instantly and was told I can come at 1-1:30p! That was awesome! The place was clean and had everything to make you feel at home. We were able to cook some meals at home. Not only is the furniture comfy (bed and sofa) but there were so many amenities that were provided! Super fast wifi, cable, a few DVDs, games, books. In addition, the condo already had a Maui Revealed guidebook (very, very useful) and the CD of Road to Hana!! We were glad to find those in the condo because we were just about to purchase them for the trip!
Although we were out and about most of the days, we were glad to come home and just relax in the condo. Everything worked great and we did not have any problems. I highly recommend renting this condo!

My husband and I arrived on Monday April 30. we stayed for 4 nights and enjoyed every night there. The room is very comfortable! And accessible to the beach...that was no lie...we walked to the beach several times. The pool and hot tub were very nice and clean. The only thing I would say is that the bathroom sink is quite tall (but that's probably because I am short). The bed was very comfortable too. It might be a good idea to put numbers on the parking spots, just a suggestion. Staying here made our trip to Maui very comforting and enjoyable. We highly suggest this condo and we hope to be back real soon!!

This is a great condo! The owners did a nice job of remodeling the unit, as it feels updated, modern and well-kept as soon as you step inside. It's just as the pictures show. It has everything you need as mentioned -- fully stocked kitchen, bathroom, and beach equipment. Most of the supplies felt new. It also has Wi-Fi and a blu-ray/dvd player which was great when my husband and I were just lounging and relaxing at the condo after a day out or when it was raining. The bed was comfortable, and we slept well while we were there.
The condo location was also great for us as it was centrally located for many of our activities (e.g., Road to Hana, Haleakala, Snorkeling excursion from Ma'alaea Harbor) as opposed to staying in the Lahaina area. It was also close to most of the Kihei/Wailea shops and restaurants. Tip: Use highway 31 instead of Kihei Road to skip local stop n go traffic if you're heading to Wailea or even South Kihei. The owners were also very responsive throughout the process and helpful when needed.
For $65/night, seriously you can't get a better deal than this!! Since Maui is so expensive, save some money, so you can have more to spend on food, activities, and shopping! It is a nice, centrally located place for activities and being out and about, yet a comfortable, relaxing place when you want to be in. We would definitely recommend it and stay again. Mahalo!

We had a great time staying here. Wonderful location. Close enough to south and west Maui. Very close to a nice little beach that is clean and beautiful. Quiet neighborhood at night. Family friendly. The owners prepared the room in a very thoughtful way. We loved it!

Our stay at this unit was wonderful. Everything in person is the same as was advertised on the website (photos are accurate). The unit decor had a cozy modern feel (the furniture made the place feel larger than compared to the other units in the same complex). The bed and sofa were comfortable. The bathroom and kitchen were very clean. The location was perfect, not far from anywhere (e.g., Kanaapali, Wailea, Kahului). We will definitely book here again when coming back.
