Property manager was great with communication, the location was central and roomy, and the unit was well-stocked.
The complex had a nice pool, lots of grass nearby, easy beach access (but note it’s not really a swimming beach), super comfy bed in master. The unit had a nice view and was close enough to the pool, but not so much so that it was an annoyance.
My main suggestion would be to get AC (which was disclosed) as I could see where it might get uncomfortable in the summer, but we’re from the PNW so take that with a grain of salt.
We were there in December and although it was fine with fans, the unit is adjacent to a staircase so if you sleep with the windows open, you will hear people banging their suitcases up and down if they have an early flight.
Otherwise even during Christmas break, the complex was surprisingly quiet. People took quiet hours pretty seriously and didn’t need reminders.
Having beach chairs, a cooler and umbrellas was also a nice touch. We have no regrets.

Great location good view of the ocean, the property had a lot of amenities that made it easy and pool was very nice with 4 grills and kitchen area. Would stay there again

This place worked out great for our family. It was just as described and had all the amenities needed. The location of the unit was pretty central and easy to get in and out of. The pool, spa and bbq area was great and we visited at least once a day for some reason or another. The beach out front is nice but has lots of washed up coral. If you walk up or down a bit the beaches get quite a bit better. It was helpful to have the beach chairs and umbrella for the daily excursions. Overall it was a great experience and we would consider staying here again if we choose to stay on this side of the island again.

Overall, I think the property is well priced for what it is. The bedrooms were surprisingly spacious. However, we had an issue at check in (the door code did not work). I had to call maintence twice to fix window screens (to keep the bugs out) and the window louvers. We had to call a third time because we couldn't get consistent internet (they replaced the router and modem). We had a lot of trouble sleeping at night because the surrounding neighbors did not respect the quiet hours. You have to sleep with the windows open because there is no other way to keep the condo at a comfortable temperature. It is noted in the listing that there is no AC in the unit, but I didn't realize how much it would affect us in October. The property manager responded in a fair amount of time and the maintence person was quick to make the fixes and was very polite and knowledgeable. I think the kitchen could use a restock on cooking utensils. The knives had rust on them and we found common items missing- like a pizza cutter and tongs. My kids enjoyed the pool. We meant to use the tennis court and putting greens, but we ran out of time. Overall, I think the price matched the condo, but next time I'm springing for AC (and closed windows).

The grounds of the condo complex are beautiful and the area is good. The actual unit C205 is extremely out dates and not clean at all..the bathrooms were really bad. The kitchen is newer. The beds were not comfortable. Again beautiful grounds but this particular unit is not great! There are many other updated units with AC and cheaper in the complex available. I wish I would have know that. Will not rent this unit again.

My husband and I, along with another couple, enjoyed (5) lovely nights at this lovely little property in Kihei. The updated kitchen, spacious living room and lanai and tasteful Hawaiian furnishings and decor created a wonderful Aloha experience!

The location is nice. Right next to the beach and backing up to a 20 acre park. We used the park, walked the beach, and it's close to town.
The pool in the complex is small but nice. There are some older folks at the complex that do not seem to enjoy the family and kids in the pool. One man (on JAN 01, 2022) was yelling at parents and didn't like that the kids were playing, laughing, and having a good time. Oh well... The hot tub was nice.
The condo. It's decent. The kitchen has okay pots, utensils, etc. but the knives were horrible. We had to use the serrated steak knives to cut everything since the knives on the counter were horrible. Some were rusty and none were sharp.
The floors were dirty and a quick wipe with a wet towel paper showed lots of dirt. It would have been nice to walk into a place with clean floors.
The beds were nice and relatively comfortable. Sheets were clean. There are plenty of nice towels for the beach, shower, etc.
Bathrooms were clean and there were enough toilet paper and garbage bags.
The washer and dryer work well. It's interesting that the dryer vents into a container right above the dryer. So, if you're wanting to use it, plan to turn it on when you won't be in the condo. Or, if you need to be there, make sure all windows and doors are open. Otherwise, you'll be huffing dryer the whole time.
The beach chairs and umbrella are awesome. They were great and went with us everywhere. There was no cooler when we arrive. After a message to our contact, we received a message that one would be dropped off. It was within a few hours.
The eLock (front door) was running low on battery and there is no physical key for the condo. After a message to the our contact, they quickly sent someone to replace the battery.
There is no A/C in the condo. We didn't need it and it was comfortable at night with the ceiling fans and portable fans (in both bedrooms). Since this was in the winter, we likely would not have used the A/C but that's just us. We prefer not to use A/C.
Overall, Maui is very overpriced and this unit is decent for the price. The amenities are good and worked well for our family. However, I'd likely look for a place that is a bit nicer if we decide to come back to Maui. Communication with the host was good, quick, and she was always responsive. That is always a bonus!
