We had a wonderful 8 days in Maui. We really enjoyed the use of this condo. The views were spectacular, and the condo was beautifully decorated, well equipped and very comfortable especially the beds. We also loved the beautifully manicured grassy areas of the complex and beach access. Our granddaughter loved running on the grass. This was the first time we spent in Kihei. We liked the central location, closeness to the airport and great nearby beaches particularly Ulua Beach for the beach and snorkeling.

We very much enjoyed our stay. We had everything we needed and were very comfortable. The property is a short drive from various beaches and shopping. Super convenient, however, I would definitely recommend renting a car in Maui, no matter where you stay. There's so much to see!

This was the perfect unit for our family of 2 parents and 2 adolescent children. This unit was clean, had great ocean views with lanai, air con and fans in every room, a kitchen with all cookware/dishware, washer/dryer, beach chairs/towels, and a great location.
The unit also has beach access that feels private. The ocean area was part of an old aquaculture pond (I think I have that straight) that is partly walled off with rocks. This provides very shallow and calm waters, especially in the low tide and low wind mornings. It is great for the kids to swim and play without worries of rip currents. This is a chance to also see all types of sea life!
The pool was average (and no reflection of the unit owners) but the other amenities such as the rooftop deck, other common areas, and location make Menhune one of the better complexes in Kihei.
The location of the unit is fantastic. It is close enough to everything! A 15-minute drive to the airport, down the street from Long's Pharmacy located in a shopping complex with restaurants, and just a 10-15 minute drive to other attractions such as the aquarium. It is close enough to everything without being in the city center of Kihei with a ton of other complexes and the larger Kamaole beaches/parks.
The owners were very responsive as well. We had a wifi snafu and they responded quickly with a solution.
I would definitely recommend based on price, cleanliness, size, building amenities, beach access, and location.

Property is ideal for young families - amenities inside unit provided everything we needed (kitchen, WiFi, laundry), and the nearest beach access was great for family members with limited swimming ability. Being centrally located in Kihei was a plus, as it kept the drive time to all island locations down to a reasonable number. Would recommend this property to those interested.

I highly recommend this condo! The description was spot on. The condo had everything you would need for a comfortable stay. The two bedrooms & baths were great for my husband & I and my sister & brother in law. The beds were very comfortable. The view was so pretty and the sound of the ocean instantly made us feel relaxed. Check in & out was easy and the hosts were available by messaging to answer questions & help as needed. The condo was just a short drive to restaurants & shopping for meals & any supplies we needed and it was within an hour’s drive to most activities we did. It was a great Maui vacation!!

Views are spectacular. Being on the top floor is quiet and private. The unit was remodeled and is top end. Our stay was everything we expected. Our only regret was that we didn’t book a longer stay.

It had all the amenities needed including some start up supplies. The property was centrally located to restaurants, grocery stores, gift shops, etc. It was recently remodeled and very clean. The grounds were also well maintained. I really liked the decor and the quality of the furniture and appliances. I would definitely stay here again!

We saw rainbows everyday from the little lanai. Eating out there would have been tight for our group of 4 adults (especially with a machine out there that blows hot air - which I assume is part of the AC unit). But for sitting and drinking coffee in the morning, it was great! We did have some pigeons that kept making a mess out there, but the host sent someone to clean it (thanks!). The beds were very comfortable! An easy walk down to the beach, but being on the top floor and the far side of the building made it a longer walk to the accessible part. Inside the unit, there was plenty of space to spread out and cool down. The cross breeze with the screen doors was glorious. Being able to do laundry was great! I’d recommend this space for two couples or a small family.

We had an amazing stay over my 55th birthday. The condo is in a perfect location to activities and many places to eat. We had everything we needed provided by the hosts and those beds were SO comfortable. We were all so very pleased with the cleanliness of the unit. The view is spectacular, we had a little trouble with the pool code and other neighbors were great to help out. Highly recommend, five gold stars!!!

This was a very nice unit and the location is a great springboard to other parts of the island. My kids kiteboarded at Kite beach near the airport, then we hiked near Paia and snorkeled up on the northwest shore. We did these same activities all week.
We enjoyed our view but we did not spend time at our beach bc we had other plans.

This is a great condo. We very specifically wanted a 2-bed 2-bath condo, with king-sized beds in both rooms. Not only did this spot meet those needs, it was also really nicely decorated, had a great kitchen, and was on the top floor of the building. And the beds were super comfortable!
The condo is a bit smaller than it looks in the listing photos - it would’ve been a little tight if all 4 of us wanted to sit in the living room, for example. The balcony had a wonderful view and we loved drinking our coffee out there every morning. The one downfall of having the air conditioning in the condo is that the condenser is on the balcony, which takes up some valuable space and also puts out a bunch of hot air. I don’t share any of that to complain, but rather to let other visitors know what to expect.
More of what to expect - the condo isn’t easily walkable to places. But it’s a very easy drive to anywhere in Kihei (and beyond). The beach in front of the condo is very calm because of the sea wall. And speaking of the sea wall - TURTLES. Always the turtles on and near and around the sea wall. One of my favorite things to do was wade out to look at them. You can walk on the beach on either side of the sea wall a bit, although not for miles or anything.
The unit was stocked with everything we needed to kick off the trip - paper towels, toilet paper, Keurig K-cups, dishwasher soap, laundry detergent, soap, shampoo, conditioner, etc. Each bedroom had extra sheets and blankets. Each bathroom had extra bath towels and a hair dryer. The condo also had 5 beach towels.
All in all, this was the perfect spot for our group to stay!

This place worked out perfectly for our party of two couples. Everything was clean and there was plenty of space in every room. There is a nice balcony where you can overlook the ocean and swimming pool. I loved that it was right on the beach, and there are not many people on the beach, so it felt very private. The location was great, as it was on a main road and was just minutes away from several restaurants, stores, and grocery stores. The parking spots were rather tight, but we never had issues finding parking in the lot. There is an Indian restaurant embedded in the condo, which was also very convenient. It was super handy to have a washer and dryer in the unit, although we would have much preferred an iron to the steamer, which only seemed to work minimally on a few fabrics. We did not need to contact the owners, so I can not speak to their responsiveness - but this also means that there were zero problems or concerns! Overall, everything was awesome and we would definitely stay here again!

Our first time on Maui and we loved being centrally located in Kihei. The view from the 6th floor and the roof were spectacular! Everything was clean and bright when we arrived and the condo had everything we needed for our week-long adventure. Steps from the beach and sea turtles every evening and morning! Our kids enjoyed the pool, snorkeling in the protected pond (a bit, visibility wasn't great) we used the grills on the roof one evening for a sunset dinner, and everything else we needed was found in the condo! Thanks again for a great stay!

We were fortunate enough to have great weather (aside from the typical afternoon winds) during our week in Kihei - and it was topped off with our stay in this very nice property. The location made it possible to get out on the beach and see turtles almost every day, which is an amazing treat.
As for the rental itself, everything was perfect for our family of four. The well-furnished kitchen made it possible to stock the fridge and alternate between eating out and cooking depending on our schedule so was a huge convenience. There were plenty of comfortable different seating areas to relax and take in the fantastic view, although it was a little warm to stay out on the lanai for too long.
All in all - this property greatly enhanced our Maui experience!

The condo was beautiful! We really enjoyed it and the beds were amazing. We loved sitting out on the beach and watching the sea turtles sun themselves! We enjoyed having A/C coming from Oregon it was definitely needed. This is our 2nd trip to Maui and definitely our favorite rental it was super quiet (no noisy neighbors).

This unit was better than advertised! Recently updated, very modern and pristine clean. Both bedrooms have king beds, and one includes a twin Murphy bed with a brand new plush mattress. I appreciated the small things as well such as a great hair dryer, a lot of Tupperware containers, and a great ice maker! We never had to fight for pool
chairs which was refreshing and the shallow ocean lagoon in front was so nice for our granddaughter. We saw turtles there everyday. Our unit on the 6th floor was super quiet. The Monsoon restaurant has great food and of course the views from our condo and there can’t be beat! 10 star recommendation for this stay at Menehune Shores. Also, the owner responded immediately for any questions we had.

Wow! This 2 BR place was a palace! Two king size beds in 2 bedrooms. Each BR had it's own bathroom. All appliances appeared updated. There was even a Murphy bed in one of the rooms. The updating was tastefully done and the unit was so clean. Family members appreciated the usb port/chargers on each side of the bed. Everything was very comfortable and we could not have asked for more. The view was beautiful, the location very convenient to shops, etc, and Menehune shores has its own Indian restaurant, Monsoon India.

Our family of 6 spent a week here over Christmas and we were thrilled with our choice.
Consistent with other reviews, this home is super clean, well stocked and was large enough for myself and husband, my in-laws and our 2 adult children (18, 21).

The location is an easy drive from the airport and is a good starting point for all areas of the island. Tours that included hotel pick-up also worked well with guides easily meeting us in the parking lot.
The location worked out great for us. It is not in the center of a big resort area like Wailea and Kaanapali, and you need to drive to the great shops in Lahaina and Paia . However, after a day spent among the crowds at the shops and beaches, that VIEW is the first thing you see when you open the door; the ocean is steps away; you can hear the waves day and night; and if you are back in time, you have your own private sunset. This was a bonus for my in-laws who appreciated the calm after days in crowded shops or loud restaurants. They did not want to “walk a mile” from room to beach to see the sun rise and set.
The property owners are fantastic to work with and we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. This was one of the most thoughtfully stocked homes we have rented.

- better than average starter packs of dish and laundry soaps, bags and tissues. And we needed a few things from the overflowing first-aid kit. Thank you!

- a small decorated tree was the final touch to really make it feel like home for Our Christmas.

This was an amazing stay. The booking and communication with Robert was excellent, the property was amazing. Even better then the pictures. Clean clean clean and spacious The neighborhood is great, close to shopping and great restaurants and really on the beach. We could see the turtles from the balcony The appartment is stocked with all necessary stuff we could think off, from pots and pans, to towels, toiletpaper, snorkelgear etc.(even watershoes) The airco was a big plus. Just to be able to cool the unit off in the afternoon when we came back in and then we could turn it off and had a perfect breeze and the sound of the ocean. Also the elevators and shopping cards to use for bringing in groceries is a great thought The whole complex was nice up kept ,clean and super nice people who stay there longer periods of time.Also one of our friends needed a shower chair( he only has one leg) and it was there when we arrived ,that was perfectly arranged I can't say enough great things. Thank you so much Robert to let us enjoy it, this was the perfect place

Our family of four plus my parents stayed here for a week over Thanksgiving. The condo was a great home base for us while we explored Maui. The check-in process was very easy. The condo is very clean and the entire complex is well cared for and maintained. We all spent a lot of time on the lanai enjoying the view, and it was great to have the beach and the walled-in "fish pond" area within steps of the condo. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms are roomy and updated, and it's always nice to have a clothes washer and dryer in the unit. Highly recommend.

We spent ten days at Menehune Shores #518 and were very pleased with the condo: impeccably clean, comfortable beds, kitchen stocked with all the amenities, lots of beach towels, boogie boards & beach umbrellas. And the view from the lanai was unbelievable- we’ve stayed at ocean front properties before but this was the first time having a 180° vista. Wow!
The owners were awesome- responding immediately to an issue with the dishwasher. Kudos for the amazing customer service which is obviously a high priority.
The condo is located in north Kihei which is conveniently located for driving to any part of the island (airport, Lahaina, upcountry Makawao, Wailea, etc.). It’s located close by Kihei/Wailea tourist shopping areas/beaches with driving necessary but definitely doable- parking was easy to find. And we appreciated being a bit outside the main tourist hubbub:) The condo pool and grounds were beautifully maintained- we swam at the pool every day.
We were also delighted with the small beaches just outside the condo- especially the rock wall-enclosed fish pond next door at the Humpback Whale Marine Sanctuary. The calm, shallow pond was lovely for we older adults who wanted to experience the ocean minus the surf:) We snorkeled a bit there, mainly to watch the turtles—we loved watching the turtles swim near the shore!

We had such an amazing time visiting Maui. When we researched where to stay in Maui, it was important to us that we stayed in a clean and comfortable place with a great view. This place delivered. Management was very accommodating to our needs. The views of Maui are crazy cool and we loved that this unit was air conditioned, which many are not. We would definitely rent here again. One thing that I would suggest is to have a full coffee maker rather than the Keurig style. But that's just a personal preference. Mahalo.

We traveled with 4 adults and twins and this place had it all. Every little detail was appreciated (eg laundry soap, dishwasher, soaps for cleaning pots, beach towels, linens, high chair, pack n play, etc). The condo was impeccably clean - and even my Mom said that the maid has an excellent eye for detail. In august, the air conditioning was a huge perk. The location to the beach is steps, which helps a lot when you’re traveling with kids. The pool was cleaned multiple times a day - and the entire condo building reflects the care and thoughtfulness of the owners. We are definitely coming back and renting from this place again. The owners were quick to answer any questions and provided Baby beach rental recommendations that saved us a lot of packing/money checking bags. It was a A++ vacation for us and one we will never forget. Thank you!
