The location and view was the selling point. The condo itself was smaller than pictured but well stocked with everything you need. Could use a fresh coat of paint and a little more attention. I would stay at that location again, but just might look for a more updated unit.

Kamaole Nalu 305 was simply wonderful! Our group of 4 had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay overlooking a sweeping view of the ocean, directly about Kamaole beach. The pictures cannot do it justice, I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Kihei. It is easily accessible to most parts of the island, with many restaurants and bars near by, there is no better place to spend your vacation :)

Kamaole Nalu 305 was simply wonderful! Our group of 4 had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay overlooking a sweeping view of the ocean, directly about Kamaole beach. I can’t say enough good things about this place. The room was clean and had all the amenities you would need. The grounds of the property were pristine. The views and the sunsets we watched from our balcony and around the property were something we will never forget. Close access to the beach and lots of shops and restaurants across the street or short walking distance. We had 5 people stay in the room that ranged in age from 10 to 66. All 5 of us loved every minute of it and it was very easy to get around the property and the beach access. It was a perfect stay in paradise.

Very relaxing place! The lanai is everything! Watch the sunset from the grassy area every night! Saw sea turtles while swimming in the beach out front AND from the lanai. Great place!

As we are now retired we stay at least 30 days a year and sorry we didn’t stay longer this time. Loved the unit!!
Condo was wonderfully upgraded , clean and we would’ve rebooked for next year had the rates not gone up exponentially!
Also the unit was booked mid month for just a few days next April which would really mess up a long term monthly rental!
Having a couple longer term is less wear and tear on the unit as opposed to seeing 7 people at a time in the unit a few days here and there which is what we are seeing with the increased rates at Nalu!
You really don’t need to use the AC as the trades keep the unit cool so not needed at this time of the year. !
As I love to cook but this unit did lack a few things I needed such as serving trays and bowls ( only 1 ceramic in unit) , 4 salad forks , baking dishes I bought and will store in our storage unit for our stay next year next door at RM.
This unit needs new lanai furniture as table is too high for the chairs of which some you can not sit on as they are separating at the back!
The rates for monthly rentals here at Nalu have jumped up compared to the other two condo units to the left and right of Nalu.
I really loved this unit and treated it as home for a month with respect but with the increased rate sadly we won’t return .

Views were breathtaking. Sunrise and sunset from the lanai. Super convenient location in Kihei and We loved being on the beach and not having to cross the road. Downsides were the pool was a bit small (lacked much of a shallow end) and cold for young children to play/swim and the living space is a bit small indoors.

We spent 2 wonderful weeks in this condo. The view of the ocean & beach was spectacular. We were 2 couples and this place was perfect. We each had our own en-suite bath and controlled our own bedroom A/C units. We enjoy cooking and the kitchen was fully equipped with every gadget & appliance. We used the BBQ almost every night and never had to wait. We enjoyed our meals on the balcony that has a big table and 6 chairs. There were lots of beach chairs however we did purchase an umbrella that we left for the next guests. We spent most of our time on the beautiful Kamaole 2 beach which is steps away. We saw many turtles from the lawn and snorkeling. We enjoyed many sunsets from the perfectly manicured lawn where there was plenty of tables & chairs. On windy afternoons, we spent time in the pool which was also very well maintained. There are many shops & restaurants across the street.

The condo had a fantastic view of the ocean. The pool was refreshing after a day at the beach which was a few steps from the condo. The grounds had tables and chairs for watching the sunset and the BBQ was easily accessible. The grounds were well taken care of. Mahalo! We will be back!

As a family of 4 with 2 university aged kids the layout of this condo was perfect for us. The condo is located on Kam II beach and we loved this beach - one of the best on Maui. Also of note was the lanai with 3 open sides and unobstructed views of the pool, beach, and ocean. We spent a lot of time there. We would recommend this condo and would look to return here on our next trip to Kihei.

Location was perfect! The view from the balcony was absolutely beautiful, the pictures don’t do it justice. We stayed 9 nights. Check in was super easy, and any communication I had with management their response was pretty much immediate. We had plenty of room for our family of 5 (parents with 2 20 year olds and one 14 year old). Everything was clean and well maintained, and the unit had everything we needed from cooking in the kitchen to going to the beach. The beds were comfortable, and the AC cranked so well it was almost too cold. The beach was never too crowded, and we snorkeled every morning in front of the condos; it does get very windy in the middle of the day, so the best time for snorkeling for us was 7-10am, but good for using the boogie boards later. We used the nice community BBQ and pool one day, and watched the sunset from the lawn on the chaise lounges. The location was walkable to some shops and dining. There’s nothing we felt was lacking during our stay. We will definitely book here again next time we come to Maui. Mahalo!!!

Fantastic location. Kam 3 is excellent for swimming and snorkeling. Saw turtles from the balcony. Unit is clean with some ants, which is understandable given climate. Parking is a little tight with majority of the spots in the lot being for compact cars. Property manager was very responsive to communications but did take a little time to fix issues (e.g., when the keypad stopped working, they responded to our text within 10 minutes, but the maintenance person didn't show up until 18 hours later). All in all this was a great stay.

We enjoyed ourselves at this location. Coffee, breakfast lunch and dinner were all just across the street. The condo building and unit were clean and well maintained. The view was really spectacular. The beach outside was also amazing with a small cove that was great for snorkeling, paddle boarding and safe for the kids.

Awesome location & beautiful views! Unit came with everything needed to comfortably lounge on the beach (chairs, umbrella, towels) which was just steps away. Stores and restaurants are conveniently located across the street - and communication leading up to check-in and throughout the stay was timely.

I was surprised how well stocked the kitchen was - it even had a blender for my smoothies in the mornings. The location to the beach and to all the shopping within walking distance was just amazing. I would stay here again. And we saw the large green sea turtles several days in a row.

This unit checked all of our boxes and then some. It had 1) easy access to a gorgeous, swimmable beach; 2) a pool; 3) two bedrooms; and 4) all the beach gear we could need. It was our first trip to Maui and I was pleasantly surprised by how low-key Kihei is in this spot. There are great casual dining options just across the street, and the bigger grocery store is only a mile up the road. The unit's kitchen is outfitted with everything you need. Also, the view is unbeatable.
Is this the "fanciest" place I've ever stayed? Nope, but I'll take a gorgeous beach over a fancy kitchen rehab any day. The beds were cozy and sound of the waves at night was a perfect lullaby. Also, we barely used the AC b/c the ocean breeze was so nice.
All told, this was absolutely perfect for our Maui stay and we would definitely rent it again. The whole family had a wonderful time and I would highly recommend this unit.

It was very difficult to find the perfect location at a decent price. I did a TON of research before deciding to stay here. I can honestly say that this location and condo made the trip! The pool and short path to the beach was right below our deck and no one was ever there- so my kids or my husband and I can go off on our own and still be in sight. The beach was stunning! It was sandy and an amazing place to swim, or boogie board. 4 turtles same right up to the beach and it was an incredible site. This condo was also right across the street from great places to eat- getting Acai bowls and walking to lots of options for lunch and dinner too. I will stay here everytime! Kihei is the location you want to get the serene landscape and fun all rolled in one! and this is the condo to rent!

This property’s value lies in its location. The view just can’t be beat for this price. The air conditioner worked well and the kitchen had everything we needed. The lanai is a wonderful place to have morning coffee, or you can go sit down by the pool. I loved taking those iconic photos of both sunrise and sunsets. We were lucky enough to have a full moon one morning that was perfectly situated between palm trees. Bossfrog beach rentals, açaí bowls, coffee are all just across the street. While the overall condo was clean, bathroom attention could be stepped up a notch. We didn’t have bath mats to step onto when getting out of the shower. The toilets have some rusty screws that are visible. The drain wasn’t cleaned well. But honestly this would not deter us from renting this place again.

The location of this unit is fantastic and it’s amazing what AC does for relaxation in the afternoons. We thoroughly enjoyed seeing turtles every morning as soon as we walked out, and even on the Lanai. The unit was well furnished (sectional was very comfortable) and well stocked. We had a minor issue with the cleanliness upon check in, but the property management company was very good to work with and they attended to the issue right away.
One thing we wish we knew was that that the doors are all slatted for the guest rooms. This meant we had to be quiet in the evening since we were traveling with an infant, but overall it worked out ok because the sound of the ocean waves was such great white noise.

This property is located on a beautiful beach. It was a perfect stay for our family of 6. We had an issue with the air conditioner that was handled quickly, the management company is great. It was nice to have chairs, cooler, umbrella, and boogey boards. We left some beach toys for the next family.

We have stayed at Kamoale Nalu many times and this has been our favorite unit. Every detail was thought through to make our stay comfortable. We appreciated higher end kitchen gadgets that functioned well and really comfy furniture. The air conditioning was heavenly!! The unit was also very clean upon arrival. As usual the beach at Kamoale did not disappoint. The turtle were abundant this year and we saw many on a daily basis. We hate to leave but we know we will back soon to our favorite spot in Maui!
