Overall it was good. We even had our own rooftop to ourselves which we enjoyed. It was nice having AC in the bedroom and living room. But the bedroom one had a red light flashing for a new filter and property management had some stop by to clean it but the red light remained. Also the TV was not working and there weren't any instructions. The property management had someone stop by and get it working and left us instructions. Condo was comfortable but could be updated. The property itself was very pretty, clean and close to everything.

We stayed here for 5 nights in November and the moment we stepped into the room we were saddened and disappointed in the state of the Condo we stated in. It was the worse ever in all our visits to Maui/ Kihei here are a list of our issues. We spent 13 nights here and had a great time. The unit is dated and in need of updating. The bed was broken in the bedroom as were the beach umbrellas. The furniture on the lani and roof top deck is very old and needs to be replaced. The location was great though!

Great location in Kihei across from Kamaole Beach and easy walking distance to several restaurants. Condo was older but what I wanted. Communication with property management company before checkin was excellent and I was easily able to get in the condo. However, since I arrived after the condo complex's office and the property management's office was closed, I ended up registering my vehicle with the overnight security guard (unexpected).

It’s a decent property for the cost. It could use some updating as the area around the shower vent was peeling and the shower itself backs up and is very high pressure. With that said it was a peaceful stay and we enjoyed our time there. The location near the beach and restaurants is ideal.

This place was nice, but not what we had expected. It definitely wasn't kid friendly so for that reason, I would not recommend staying here with children. I had to wash the dishes before I could use them because they were dirty. The description says stocked kitchen, however, I would disagree. There were very little cooking utensils, pans, etc. No measuring cups, except one that was hidden in the bottom cupboard of the island in the very back. The place was dirty with bugs everywhere. Our feet were black after walking barefoot for only a few minutes. The bugs could just be how Maui is, but I would have figured they could/would treat for that inside. We paid for a late checkout since we had a red-eye flight home, but the cleaning crew walked in around 11am ready to clean. When we told them we had a late check out, they seemed put out and annoyed. Overall it was ok, but I wouldn't stay here again.

The major struggle we experienced was an inability to cool the unit for comfort sleeping if we shut off the window unit in the bedroom during the day. This is a top floor east side unit with direct sunlight for much of the day. We never did have a nice breeze to keep the living area comfortable even with windows and sliding glass door open. It was very warm (and we are from FL) Perhaps window covering over the east facing jalousie windows would help.
The on-property manager was very nice and helpful. The grounds are very well maintained and walking distance to most anything. Other units did not appear to have the same temperature challenge.

We found the rooms matched photos but certain things were in uncomfortable shape. The AC smelled really funky in the bedroom. The shower was really high pressure and the tub drain was slow so you were showering in quickly rising water. For those with little ones we were also concerned the spacing of the banister on lanai was large enough for a small toddler to fit through. The location is great and it was a more budget friendly stay, however it was not as comfortable as we expected based on review scores.

This condo was in an amazing location that is by far the best part of this condo. It has a partial ocean view from the balcony/terrace which is lovely in the morning or at sunset. There are beach chairs, umbrellas and even a bogey board to use at the beach which is very nice. It has simple check in and check out procedures. The fridge was a great size and was new and clean. One downside of this condo unit however was the cleanliness of the unit overall. The furniture needs updating as it is a bit dated. In the photos it looks like trendy beach chic but it is 1970’s furniture that needs some cleaning and updating. The couch should really be cleaned as there were stains on the green couch and it’s decorative pillows. The walls and ceilings of the unit have not been cleaned in a while as there was dust hanging from the ceiling and some marks/stains on the walls in the bathroom and living room from food or something. Also there were missing pillow cases for three of the sleeping pillows and we had to sleep on pillows without the pillow case and just the protector on. After having seen some of the other units in the complex, this unit does not really measure up. Overall it was a pleasant visit and we enjoyed our stay, however we hope that in the future the condo gets an update as that would make it even better!

We had a great time in Kihei and staying in this condo. I would have preferred a queen bed instead of a double but that doesn't seem to be the case anywhere in Maui. The balcony was very nice and the location couldn't be better. I would recommend this as a vacation rental.

The place is a little outdated and could use some TLC. But, when you are spending most of the time out exploring and at the beach, it doesn't really matter too much for me. The A/C units work hard to keep it cool. If those little glass slat windows they use everywhere on the island were replaced, the A/C would probably work a lot better. We found the fridge wasn't working very well on our arrival. It was cool, but not cold and wouldn't freeze anything. The rental company was very prompt and had a replacement fridge delivered to us within 4 hours, which was amazing. The beds were very comfy, even the pull out sofa. The large patio was nice, although we didn't use it a lot, but it was good for extra space to dry the beach towels, etc. The sliding door to the lanai could use a little TLC as it was very loud and rough to open. Overall the place was great, the pool was very nice. Only 5 minute walk to an amazing beach! We saw plenty of turtles!

Good location and great that includes everything that is needed for the beach (chairs, umbrella, cooler). But it needs repairs: the sliding doors don't slide and it's noisy. The neighboor downstairs complained about the noise. The water in the shower doesn't drain. There is an ant problem in the kitchen specially in the peninsula. There are ants in the counter and the cabinets.

From start to finish this was one of my best experiences at a rental! We had a last minute emergency just before arrival and they helped us immediately and gave us options if we needed to change our dates. Luckily we didn’t!! But their customer service and response time went above and beyond.
The location is perfect, home has everything you’ll need for a wonderful stay. This unit had TWO AC units unlike any other in the building, plus fans both ceiling mounted and stand alone high quality ones so room temp was always comfortable. And the bed?! Uh-mazing! Even the sofa bed was comfortable!!
Don’t bother paying for a scuba day. Rent gear and go right from the beach that is right across the street! To the right there is a coral reef and we swam with turtles almost every day!
My suggestion is to do grocery delivery. When you check in at the office you get a discount coupon for the closest grocery store but it’s about a 30 minute walk… so it was difficult to carry everything back for our family of 4 and we only got a few days of food worth. So we did a Safeway delivery and it was perfect! $5 fee plus a $10 tip and worth every penny.
Also.. there is Kihei car rentals… $300 per WEEK for a rental car. If we had known this would have got it at the beginning of our stay not just for the one day at the end of our trip. Was a 45 minute walk but worth it to spend a day exploring Maui!
My only wish was that there was lighting on the back deck! We planned on sitting out in the evening to play card games while the kids slept but it was too dark. The space is massive but other than a few meals and drying clothes we didn’t use it as much as I thought we would have.
So if this unit is available? BOOK IT! Our friends stayed in another unit and it paled in comparison to ours.

Kihei Kai Nani unit 11-343 is a dated property in need of some TLC. We found the bedroom carpet filthy, needing to be replaced. Exhaust fan in bath doesn’t work, furniture is dated and worn, and the tsunami evacuation area attached to the unit should not be listed as a feature. It is stark and not maintained. No privacy from the upper floor of adjacent building.Upon check in, the door code we were homemade by Rentals Maui didn’t work. Luckily the agent covering the after hours help line finally got us in. The code we were given wasn’t the one she was showing. Had to create a new code to get us in. The was a little concerning and should not have happened. The property has a whole is decent, good location, small pool for size of property. I would no rent this unit again.

Overall the stay was satisfactory. We had issues with ants in the kitchen as well as hot water issues. Would stay again if ant issues were fixed for future stays. Communication with the manager was great and the location was amazing. We loved the balcony and roof combo. No issues parking. Ac took a while to get the rooms to a good temperature but that's to be expected with the size of the condo and the small ac units.

This one bedroom condo was right near the water and made exploring that part of Maui a breeze. We liked sitting on the deck in the morning to drink some coffee and plan out our day. It had all the things you’d need to cook but we were out and about most of our stay. It was nice to come back to it at night.

The condo is in a great location- walkable to shops, restaurants, and a nice sandy beach. Parking and check-in/ out is easy. We greatly enjoyed relaxing on the peaceful lanai. There are beach towels and chairs to borrow, as well as air conditioning throughout the unit. This is a great option for accommodations in Kihei!
