We greatly enjoyed our stay! The condo was sparkling clean. As other reviews mentioned the photos do not do the property justice. The pool and hot tub area are a gorgeous tropical oasis and a perfect place to relax. Very close to wonderful beaches and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our time the end of December. The condo is large and comfortable. It is clean and a 5 minute walk to the beach. It is an older condo but well taken care of. It’s not fancy but for us when we go to Maui, we don’t spend much time in the condo. It was sufficient for us.
Hope to go back someday soon!

Pros: nice location, garden zen area, everything works, chairs coolers available, good price. Cons; couple roaches , shower drains slow, noise from above floor can be heard , foot steps chairs dragging and closet doors sliding. Just as honest as possible.

Nice 2 bedroom main level unit in a 4plex high up in a large complex near kamaole beach iii in kihei. 5 minute walk to the street. Great common upper pool area. Quiet non ocean view lanai.

The condo is outdated but I didn't have a problem with that when I booked it. The condo was dirty when we arrived. Stains on the lamp shades, walls and curtains, stained carpet, mismatched old sheets, mattress' are at least 20 years old, couch had wood underneath the cushions with food and garbage that needs to be cleaned up. Location is great but I won't book this condo again.

Great accommodation for the price. Great privacy with a private space for outdoor dining. Excellent amenity pool nearby. Great kitchen if you want to cook at home. The space is better than what the photos show. The only negative was that the master bed slumped and was not very comfortable.

The location is good, great walking trails through the property to the beach. A little far and steep for elderly to walk to the beach. Unit curtains and lamps are dirty. Amenities ok-not plentiful as in some units. Beds uncomfortable. Ran out of TP, dishwashing pellets, etc. OK deal for the price.

This condo is close to three beaches and numerous restaurants. We spent a lot of time on the beautiful and peaceful back patio. Easy driving to anywhere on the island. Would definitely stay here again.

This is a nice, albeit dated, condo. It is just as advertised, and to be honest the photos do not do it justice. For us as a couple, it was actually larger than what we needed, but it was nice having the second bedroom for additional storage, allowing us to get our suitcases out of the master. Other reviews have noted a few minor issues -- the place could use a refresh, particularly the curtains in the bedroom -- but you know when you're booking at this price that you're not getting the Taj Mahal.
While Kam 3 Beach is technically across the street from the property, this unit is high and deep into the development, so the walk down to the beach is longer than you may picture, but still very doable. The property is also on the south end of Kihei, so a fairly lengthy walk to The Triangle.
All in all, a fine place for the money. Would recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at this Maui condo! We were looking for a condo that had twin beds for our twin teens and this space was great for us! The condo was on beautiful grounds that were impeccably maintained. The beach was a 5-10 minute walk away and the condo is on a hill. Our family enjoyed the walk. It was very peaceful and quiet and at the far south end of Kihei so removed from the action and bustle of much of the town which worked for us. Joyce was very helpful and we really appreciated the early and late checkout! We looked at many condos and found this unit to be very good value compared to others. It was clean, comfortable and in a lovely setting. Thanks for the great stay!

Lots of positives! Idyllic location. Just a few minutes walk and/or drive from the beach, where I spent several evenings with one of the beach chairs provided, watching amazing sunsets + great people watching. The parking space is directly in front of the unit, which was a HUGE plus!
The grounds themselves are very well manicured. When it wasn't too hot/muggy, I enjoyed the back patio, listening to the light breeze blow through the palms, watching friendly, yet cautious lizards scurry into the cool tropical plantings, and the varied birds that visited the yard - making all manner of wonderful sounds.
The home was equipped with a full kitchen, living, room, bathroom shower/bathtub, washer/dryer, dishwasher (didn't use at all) and cooktop once b/c of the heat. It also had all the extras for daytime excursions: chairs, towels. TV never quite activated, but perfect internet.
The location is situated perfectly to access main highways toward all attractions. Local eateries up and down S. Kihei road, gas, little shops, etc., too.
The one or two downsides in my opinion were that one - the unit needs updating in the master bedroom (where I slept). The curtains next to the bed were badly stained with either a splattered coffee drink, or water damage (?) not sure what, it wasn't pleasant to see, especially upon waking and it definitely made the space "feel" less than fresh. Doesn't seem like a very costly fix, so that surprised me. Otherwise, the space appeared clean. Second, the unit had A/C, but the owners requested that it not be used due to the cost of electricity - which I get...though under the circumstances thought that was odd. We are paying for the stay, and the ceiling fans alone were not nearly sufficient for comfort to sleep, or even just be in the space for any length of time. Opening the doors just let hot/muggy air in.
One thing I would have appreciated upon arrival would have been even a small water bottle in the fridge (it was very hot and humid outside and inside); maybe a little welcome note with a couple of suggestions of places to eat, see, or do to get quickly orientated. I know this is something I generally experience in other condo-type rentals. It makes a huge difference to feel welcomed.
All in all, I gave the property ***** stars. Not sure I would stay there again, but it was priced in my budget and provided all the basic necessities.

First family trip to Maui and we found this property to be relaxing and easy access to everything needed. If you have young children who enjoy time at the pool, be aware that they are very strict about loud noise, actually any noise at the pool, which would consist of a child laughing. The unit itself had everything needed, a little dated but, was comfortable.

We had a fantastic 8 night stay. The condo was very comfortable, functional and my 10 year old loved the fact that he had his own room! The unit is very close to the tropical pool which is our favorite of the two pools on the property. We would highly recommend this property to anyone interested in staying in Kihei in the future.

The condo is sequestered in a very nice upscale condominium resort complex. While it is a garden view it is very conveniently across s parking low from s beautiful pool and hot tub equipped with multiple Webber grills.
The unit i itself was well appointed for this family of four with ample toom for all. and made for a good staging point for many Maui adventures.

I very much enjoyed my stay in this property at the Maui Kamaole. The property was clean and the kitchen well stocked with dishes, cutlery, bowls, pots and pans. The beds were comfortable. Great location in relation to the bbq's and the pool. Even the trash and recycling were not too far away. Just a short walk to Kamaole Beach III and a terrific location to walk to and along the beautiful beaches and walking trail of Wailea and I love walking!! Joyce was very attentive to any of my needs/requests. I would definitely stay there again!
