The beach club offers chairs, cabanas, sheltered waters for snorkelling and paddle-boarding, as well as Napua Restaurant and Bar for lunch or dinner. Guests staying at The Point are also given complimentary access to the private heated pool complex which has a beautiful surrounding garden.

The Point is a single-level condo on the ground floor with 2 bedrooms. The first Master Bedroom overlooks the ocean with a King bed and luxury spa-like ensuite. The second bedroom comes with two TwinXL beds.
From the living room and dining room watch the golfers on one of the most prestigious golf courses in Hawaii. During winter you can watch Humpback whales play just off the shoreline.
A short walk away is famous 49 Black Sand Beach.
Enjoy movie night on the large TV. If you have business to attend to there is a convenient desk in the living room that can be used, enjoy ocean views during your work day.

We love building really big sand castles! Kohala sand is exceptional for this and we have the tools for kids and adults alike. For your day at the beach, you'll find:

• Large collection of snorkel gear in multiple sizes so you can share the wonders of the ocean
• Boogie boards to enjoy playing in the waves
• Life jackets, swim belts for the younger ones
• Large wheeled cooler and Tupperware containers for your beach picnic
Enjoy our bikes (with helmets and locks) allowing you to explore the Mauna Lani resort. They are great for going to the Private Beach Club (access included), exploring the Black Sand Beach, historical grounds, Fairmont resort hotel or the many other wonderful places that Mauna Lani has to offer.
Things to do:
Staying in Mauna Lani Point gives you full access to its recreation complex with private pool and spa hot tub.
You can also take advantage of the clean private beach club staffed with lifeguards and the Napua Restaurant just two miles away. Excellent snorkelling in calm waters!
A short drive away are six of the most spectacular beaches in Hawaii including Beach 69, Hapuna beach and the breathtaking Mauna Kea beach.
The Kohala coast is a golfer's paradise with seven challenging courses all within seven miles of our villa.
Minutes down the street is the Shops at Mauna Lani where you can find supermarket, coffee shops, restaurants, clothing and accessory stores, art, and free weekly entertainment in the evenings.
The Point is within the Mauna Lani resort, close to both Auberge and the Fairmont Orchid Hotels.

My husband and I stayed here with our 2 kids (ages 14 and 10). The condo was as described, very clean, and had everything we needed. However, there were a couple of areas that could have been improved. The covered parking space for that unit was not available to us and the complex doesn't allow for street parking. There were only 8 unassigned parking spots for several condo buildings. Two times during our stay we were unable to find parking and had to wait for a spot to open or park a few minute walk away. Additionally, the cable TV wasn't working. The management company sent someone out and they thought they had fixed it, but it never worked. Not a huge deal as weren't there to watch TV. Also, the screen doors to the lanai were not properly on the tracks and as such we were unable to keep the doors open during our stay. Lastly, we were told that the private beach club provides chairs, towels and umbrellas. However, they only have chairs. The condo had everything we needed (plus so much more!) but we had to go back and forth to get it all and were under the impression we wouldn't have to carry everything there.

We had a wonderful stay and the home was cozy and very equipped. For being on the bottom level, it was very quiet and relaxing! The VRBO team were very attentive and prompt to respond any questions or concerns we had. We are definitely going to return and recommend to our friends and family!
