This rental was used for a work trip but I would have gladly stayed here on vacation. The grounds were well-kept, access to the beach was easy, and the unit was well stocked with quality furnishings and appliances.
Correspondence was superfast and handled with professionalism. The location is a little north of Kihei so the surroundings are quieter at night (and the sunsets right outside the door are superb). Hard to ask for a better stay for the price.

Overall it is a pleasant location near the pool and first floor. Parking was easy. We did not cook.

The location is right in the middle of traveling between the island. The beach is a short strole from back door. Ambience is gentle and can view the west island from the porch. Everything that we didnt think we needed was available and easy to clean up. Wonderful stay

This property was in excellent condition. Quit clean and well apportioned. We enjoyed our visit very much. Even caught a picture of a large sea turtle on the beach. We certainly will book this fine residence on our next trip to Maui.

It was very peaceful and relaxing. The room was very clean and equipped with everything we needed. The kitchen was fully stocked. There wasn't any air conditioning but the location was really breezy right off of the beach.

Luana Kai is a great location to stay in Kihei. Close to farmers market, short drive to dining and shopping. Condo is comfortable, well appointed & beautiful ground floor setting, close to pool and beach. Mahalo!!

This is a nice location. A little outdated and the windows in the bedroom are not made to close. But it was quiet and we slept just fine. The location was great. Didn’t have to drive far to get to anything. It was less crowded then down the street which made it nice! We would definitely stay again

Basic necessities, dish soap, laundry soap, minimal paper products were supplied. Cooking utensils etc. met our needs with no issues. Somewhat to our surprise there were virtually no “leftover” pantry items, ie, plastic wrap, cooking oil etc. Not a deal breaker but this is the first of a long list of rentals that has been in essence bare. We would definitely return.

This was a quick, short planned trip. We usually stay on the north part of the island but decided to try this area. The condo was really great, clean, and all it was billed as. Malinee was pleasant to deal with, responsive and was a great trip. We would definitely stay there again.

My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights. The unit was spacious and well equipped. The property is beautiful, short walk out to the beach and the pool is right out the back sliding door! We really enjoyed our stay, the only small complaint was that the floors were pretty dirty. I had to wear sandals while walking around the unit to keep my feet clean. Other that that we would definitely recommend this place!

This facility is managed with impeccable cleanliness. The pool, hot tub and common area were very relaxing, not crowded at all. We enjoyed our stay. The unit itself 104-C has had a few too many poorly patched and repainted shoddy repairs. Fans were used throughout as there is no A/C but the fans were adequate. The bed was comfortable. Kitchen supplies were adequate but all the mismatched plastic glasses should be replaced with glass. Minor investment. The location was excellent and just a short drive to anything you would need. Beach area not suitable for relaxation but the pool area made up for it.

My husband and I stayed here for part of our honeymoon in September 2021. The condo is in a great location in Kihei and is perfect for anyone looking for a relaxing, chill place to stay on Maui. You can walk to the beach, hang out in the park, or relax by the pool and it's all a 1-minute walk off of the patio.

Loved our time in Maui, the unit was exactly as described and contact agent was available promptly for any questions. Enjoyed the pool and hot tub, most of the time we were the only one at the pool.! It was like our own private pool. We went to beach for sunset every night and used the bbq,s for most meals. Room had beach chairs and beach towels and even some fins that worked well with our googles we brought! We love staying at Luana kai, and we’re able to walk to stores when we wanted to get some exercise. Nice centrally located for all activities on Maui.

Nice property. Check in was not smooth. We did not get information ahead of time and had to call the owner late at night to get access. I communicated with the owner ahead of time requesting special items to be at the condo since it was my daughters honeymoon. She said that she could do it and ask my price range. I never heard a word back nor was there any items to surprise the newly weds

Was excited to have a staycation at a low price waited long to get in after found leaking refrigerator with black mold all around walls and floor had to leave towel in-between refrigerator to stop leakage into kitchen unit needs treatment for black mold I paid for two bites but slept elsewhere should of had a partial refund

Would recommend this place. The condo itself is large for a one-bedroom. It’s located in a condo complex directly on the beach. The patio opens right up to the complex courtyard/garden/pool, and from the patio you can see the ocean. It’s a two minute walk, just across a small field from condo to ocean. The place comes with beach chairs, an umbrella, and other useful beach amenities. The place could probably use a deep clean and a new paint job, but we felt that was well outweighed by everything else. Communication with the property manager was remote, quick, and friendly.

This property was in walking distance to several shopping centers and was really comfortable for me and my friend. The real gem is the quick walk to your almost "private" beach and the other amenities on the property. Tennis, pool, hot tub, and a large lawn for outdoor activities. There are also some outdoor games. It was a comfortable mix between a family orientated atmosphere and one for adults. Wifi was strong and I was able to work all the way to the grass just outside my room. The wifi didn't reach out to the pool area so bring a hotspot if you want to work poolside. The host was also easy to get in contact with and very responsive when I couldn't figure out how to lock the door. I would stay here again.

NO AIR CONDITIONING! We had to use three fans at night just to be able to sleep comfortably. No extra amenities on property such as cooler beach bags or snorkel stuff. They had a couple towels, chairs and one of the two umbrellas worked.
Thankfully we were not there a whole bunch to deal with lack of air conditioning.
People on property and office host were great. Great location and easy access to beach.

This was a great condo! It had everything we needed to make our vacation wonderful and relaxing. Great for couples or families, the grounds were beautifully maintained and the location was very convenient for traveling around the island.
The interior of the condo was not super updated, but it was right for the price we paid and did not detract from our overall experience. We loved that it was ground floor and had a patio set where we loved to start the day.
There are a few beach chairs and an umbrella that made it easy for us to enjoy a day at the beach. The beach at the property is great for taking a walk, but you will want to explore other beaches if you want to swim or snorkel.
