I rented this place hoping it would be great for my family. Great location, pretty property but dirty. My sheets were disgusting stains and blood drops on them ( two out of three beds). Had to call mgr. to bring clean sheets. Which was handled in a timely manner. Floor looked clean as long as you didn’t look at the bottom of your feet ( filthy).

I am being nice giving this a 4 star. The reason I didn't give it a 3 is I didn't want to ruin this person's overall rating. My husband felt it was a 3 star, but I am giving it a 4 just based on price. I have stayed in actualy 5 star properties throughout the world and I own several 5 star properties IN Colorado. Not a 5 star at all. 1. Zero cleaning supplies as in sprays for bathroom, floor cleaning supplies, cleanser, garbage bags, etc. I had to ask & got one crummy steam mop with a dirty mop head and half a spray bottle of spic and span. 2. Lacking basic supplies such as foil and tape, a lighter, sugar, enough toilet paper for at least 5 days ( we stayed two weeks). We would expect them to spend $10 on enough toilet paper after we dropped almost $6K on this place. 3. The tv in the bedroom never worked and we never got a response for a fix. It never did work. 4. The mattresses are soft and squishy. Not a good fit and not as described. Very painful to sleep on if you have back issues. 5. Basic and cheap decor. When I did get the mop and washed the floor, it was filthy from prior guests. 6. The front bedroom needs an AC. It is hotter than heck and we had to run a fan the entire time to push the cold air into the room. Get an AC in all the rooms.
The place was an ok, not great location. People were smoking on the property although signs said not to. They were smoking in the pool area. With all the cameras, someone should have noticed.

The spot of the condo was perfect for our family of 5. You can sit on the porch while kids play in the pool for endless hours. We all fit very comfortably and will definitely be back in the future. We’ll stocked with everything we needed, including beach toys!

Great condo in a quiet complex across from The Cove. If you have any novice surfers in your group, this is the ideal location. The unit was updated, clean and stocked with all the beach gear you need to enjoy a beach visit. We watched the amazing sunsets every night from the beach by just walking across the highway and could walk to dinner and shops with ease. If you want great access to The Cove and Kihei restaurants and shops, this condo is ideal. Check-in/Check-out process was super easy. Loved our stay and would hope to stay here again if able to return to Maui for a future visit.

The condo was wonderful and had all the amenities we could have wished for. Nice pool. Boogie boards & beach towels were a bonus. Well located in Kihei just a few minutes walk to beach and restaurants. Would stay again on any return trip to Maui.

The place is very nice and clean with a great beach view. You can’t beat the location. There was a tiny ant problem that we were made aware of when we were given the details of the property. It wasn’t too bad. This was our first trip to Maui and we really enjoyed our stay.

The property is newly renovated everything was brand new. shores of Maui is in the perfect walking distance to food land for groceries, restaurants across the street from the cove for beginners surfing and bodyboarding. A short walk to Kamaole beach for good snorkeling . You can see the ocean and pool from the lanai. I wish I could book again for April but it’s already gone!

It's our 4th stay at Shores ...we keep coming back as it never disappoints! We think this unit with its beautiful new renovations and location has possibly been our favourite since starting with rentals at Shores over 6 years ago. The owner Vivian was very helpful at all times, immediately responsive to all our questions and helpful with information about the checkin process. Also, having the unit stocked with 3 beach chairs, multiple boogie boards and an umbrella along with some beach towels is always a huge bonus (and makes things way way easier for us to not have to rent/buy/bring).
Thanks so much and we look forward to our next stay!

We stayed 10 nights in unit 103. It was fantastic. We could watch whales breaching while eating breakfast on the patio. The unit is completely remodeled and beautiful. The pool and hot tub were great. The grounds were immaculate. It is close to shops, delicious food, and great beaches. Three beds were perfect for us, since we had a teenager, grandmother and my husband and myself. The unit had beach chairs, a soft cooler, an umbrella and boogie boards. Check in and out was super easy. We will definitely be back! Thank you for such a fantastic stay.

Recently renovated and excellent location, nice pool & BBQ grills, very close/walkable to several beaches and restaurants. Well appointed kitchen. Beach chairs, towels, cooler, umbrella, etc provided. Check in & parking were very easy. Would stay here again!
Only con was no bathtub. The unit was renovated after we booked, which was a great surprise overall. However, we selected this property in part because we like rentals with a bathtub since it’s easier with our small children. Still a great find overall.
