We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Kuhio Shores. We saw whales and turtles from our lanai every day. The apartment was perfect for 2 couples. And it was a short drive to Koloa town and the great beaches of Poipu. The kitchen was very well stocked. We had 6 friends over for dinner one night and cooked up a storm with no limitations. We had to connect with the owner a few times and he was incredibly accessible, responsive and helpful. We will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful time at this lovely Koloa home! The location is spectacular with the views from the lanai. We saw several sea turtles swimming right outside the condo. Host was responsive, property was well cared for and aligned with the listing. Well stocked and very comfortable beds!

Everything about this place is perfect. The pictures are accurate; the ocean is just steps away from the back door. The views are gorgeous, the room is clean and quiet, the bed is comfortable, and everything you could need is close by. We spent a lot of time sitting on the lanai, watching turtles swim in the surf.
Greg was also a great communicator and responded quickly when I had a question!
I seriously can't say enough good things about our stay here. We loved it.

We stayed at this condo in late October 2023. It is all that the photos and description says it is. It is right on the shore (no beach) with surfers going to it just off shore. For a 2 bedroom condo, it is not huge but plenty big enough. The lanai is ground floor and really nice. The view is, at the right times of day, spectacular enough that we saw multiple people doing selfies trying to post "show off" videos right outside. We especially liked the AC systems. The condo has 2 bedrooms and the living area; and it has 3 AC systems, one for each. You can set the temp in each area as you see fit and the systems will cool it. And the parking for the condo was really easy. But of all the positives, the best thing about this condo is the location; right on the shore and centrally located around the Poipu area's stuff. One thing we were concerned about was that the condo did not have its own washer/dryer. Each floor has a coin-op, which proved no problem at all as they were available the vast majority of the time...just bring quarters, $2.50 per load either washer or dryer.
Bottom line - this is a really good condo and when we come to Kauai again, this will be our choice.

I couldn’t imagine staying at a more beautiful place! Right outside the sliding door is the ocean. Every day started with watching the sunrise and ended with a beautiful sunset. The interior was clean and spacious. The property was quiet. I highly recommend staying here.

We sat on the patio each morning to watch the sunrise and every evening to watch the sunset. It’s in a quiet neighborhood and the locals are very friendly. Our stay was great, the location was perfect. They were doing construction right next door so it got noisy but the contractors staff were very nice and tried very hard not to be a distraction and kept us informed so we could clear out before the noise started. Other then that it was exactly what I had hoped and plan to return again to that location and if possible to unit 110. Thank you Greg for being a great host

Some people do walk in front of the condo, but no one ever stopped and obstructed our view of the ocean. My son and I used the boogie boards at Brennecke Beach which was great! The condo was clean, and everything worked properly. The beds were very comfortable. The condo is slightly dated but you are reserving this condo for the view. Greg was very quick to reply to any questions we had. My family and I really enjoyed our stay!

Cold air conditioning and very comfortable master bed is really important to us and it didn’t disappoint. We loved being able to watch the turtles and cook our own meals. Condo was nice, especially the location. Beautiful view. Manager was very attentive and helpful. Condo had everything you need for the stay. My only recommendation is that they provide more pillows on the beds. Other than that, stay was great.

This condo is in a fantastic spot right on the shore. Lots of surfers at the adjacent beach, and lots of giant turtles are visible. The unit itself was as described, neat and clean. We would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay in Poipu. The condo was very well fitted with everything you needed for a beach stay . Plenty of beach gear, towels, umbrellas, even snorkeling gear. (Oddly there was no shampoo - we missed that in the description and had to make an emergency trip to the store). The condo got great cross breezes and stayed cool without AC, though we closed the windows and used AC at night to help with the noise from the parking lot. Beds were comfortable and we had a great time.

It was very clean, well furnished, and extremely well equipped with kitchen and beach amenities. The little beach at the end of the property is in such close proximity for those who wanted to swim and snorkel (to see tropical fish and turtles!). We felt completely at home the moment we walked in as it feels like you are staying in a well stocked home of a friend. The owner was friendly and gracious in our communications with him.

Greg’s 2 bdr/2 bath unit was modern, clean and comfortable for my adult daughters and their husbands. Check in and check out was simple and easy, and they were given an extra hour on check out. Vacationers to Kauai should be aware of the 10 am check out time - very common - and the red eye flights back to the mainland.
This condo building is older, no pool, but the views are beautiful. Good for adults!
