Everything about our stay here was truly excellent! Great communication from our booking throughout the stay. The location is phenomenal, perfect lanai into a quiet (asode from gentle sound of waves) cove, with a huge walkout lanai on the first floor. Lawai beach, which is great snorkeling, is right on the other side of the complex, and we saw two turtles, a few eels, and tons of fish when we went. The condo is outfitted perfectly with every need and want taken care of. Great kitchen with tons of utensils and stuff like Tupperware, foil, etc all there! The condo was incredibly clean, and the AC worked well too! Can't recommend this vrbo and the owners enough!!

The unit and the surrounding area were truly incredible. My fiance and I had such a wonderful time during our 4-day visit and we hope to return to Kauai and to this specific place on the ocean at some point in the future. The snorkeling just 200 meters away was amazing - we got to swim with turtles and so many beautiful and colorful fish. Nearby beaches were spectacular and many excellent restaurants within walking or short drive distance with different types of food and price ranges available. We also got to explore Kauai a bit with hiking, kayaking, and more snorkeling which was a ton of fun. This beautiful place helped make our vacation perfect - I'm happy to give my highest recommendation.

First, I would like to say how COMFORTABLE the bed and pillows were. Im very picky with my pillows and their pillows did not disappoint : ) The bed was perfect!
This condo was so relaxing. I loved waking up early, making coffee (which the owners supplied plenty fresh coffee) and sitting on the lanai listening to the waves crashing.
The grounds were very well manicured. Short walk around the condo, walking on the grass, to the beach where my husband was able to surf.
We had a car so ate at many restaurants on the island but having the Beach House right next door was very convenient for a sunset cocktail or a bite to eat. Not once did we have an issue getting in for a meal or a drink.
The condo always had a wonderful ocean airflow and the constant sound of the waves was awesone.
The property was very quiet with ample parking.
John and Brenda thought of everything you might need.
The only thing we needed was food. Even then, only bagels, as we ate out for every meal.
If you are considering this condo for your stay on this BEAUTIFUL island, I would not hesitate, book it today!!

This place was our favorite out of all the places we stayed at in the Hawaiian islands! It was beautiful, clean and in a great area. You also can’t beat the sunrise view from the lanai. We had a great stay here and would stay again if we ever come back to Kauai! Thank you for hosting us!

The place was just as lovely as the photos suggested. It is right on the water, and you can walk out and enjoy the ocean waves and the sunrise every day. Clean and well stocked. Host made everything easy. Fantastic all around!

The bed was comfortable and the linens were of nice quality. The complex is quiet and safe. We would be so happy to be guests here again the next time we are on Kauai!

This was the best VRBO! The property was even better than what we expected…the cleanest and most comfortable one we’ve stayed in yet! The view on the Lania was wonderful with very comfortable furniture, the bed and linens were high end as well as everything in the condo. It is so nice to go on vacation and have all of the extras already supplied in the kitchen, and going to the beach was easy with the supplied beach chairs, umbrella and cooler! We can’t wait to come back and rent this condo again!

I can say this is the best stocked rental I have ever stayed at, they have literally thought of everything. Enjoyed the local bath/shower products so much, went and bought my own. Bed is very comfortable, though the pillows are little hard (everyone has different taste).

Absolutely beautiful condo. We enjoyed every moment we spent. The mornings were our favorite having coffee and just as soaking up the view. It was stocked with so many extras and was very clean. We loved our time at this condo. It is on the first floor, an easy walk from the parking lot. The backyard has lush green grass surrounding the entire condominium. It is gorgeous. We would cook breakfast and sit out on the deck and enjoy the warmth, watch the birds, and listen to the waves gently roll into the bay. We could walk on the grass around the condo and go snorkeling, with some of the best colored fish on the island. The condo is stocked with more than you can imagine. Our stay was perfect!

The apartment is in a great location and super close to an excellent snorkeling spot. Check in and check out process was easy. The grounds are well maintained and parking was not an issue. The kitchen is well equipped. It’s a lovely, updated apartment with lots of provisions – such a comfortable place to stay. Highly recommend!

Even though our 10-day visit was interrupted by 3 days of rare heavy rains, we still enjoyed our visit. The unit is exactly as described & photographed. All of the furniture is new and comfortable. The kitchen is fully furnished. The nearby Lawai cove provided good snorkeling. Brenda responds quickly and thoroughly to any/all questions. We'd love to return.

The property is perfect for many reasons:
1. Location -
What can be better than having the morning coffee watching the sunrise, the waves a few yards away, and listening to the birds?
Being 2 minutes drive from any place of interest (restaurants, shopping centers, beaches) near Poipu beach?
Living in a quiet and uncrowded neighborhood?
35 minutes away from the east coast or 35 minutes from the west cast?
2. The apartment -
Nicely organized, well equipped.
Nothing was missing in the apartment,
It feels that the owner used his/her vast experience in hosting to make sure that everything that we needed will be there.
We loved our stay, and we would love an opportunity to visit again. Thank you.

Absolutely over the moon for this property. John and Brendan have put together an amazing rental property that feels like a home. Being on the ground floor right on the water was amazing and hard to find. No need to go purchase the kind of usual sundries you would need at other properties, they have stocked the place so that you can have a total vacation and cook all your meals. My own kitchen is not as well stocked with cookware and appliances. Felt like a home. Loved every minute of being there. Wish we could have stayed longer but we were lucky to find the days available we did. Currently sitting in a Princeville condo wishing we had done the whole vacation at Kuhio Shores.

We have stayed at Kuhio Shires before, but this unit exceeds anything we’ve experienced before. It is a ground floor unit so that just makes everything easier. It’s also stocked with everything you’ll need for cooking or day trips to the beach. (Tommy Bahama beach chairs and umbrella, cooler, etc.)
The location is ideal for soaking up the beautiful evening susnet and hike sipping on a cocktail at the Beach Hiouse restaurant, which is about 150 steps away on some of the softest, well maintained turf. On the entire island.
The lanai/deck is literally 10 feet from the ocean and the deck is shaded in the afternoon. Fun to sit in the comfy lawn furniture and watch the sea turtles frolic a mere stones throw away.
My only regret on this rating is that I. Limited to 5 stars. I would give this place 10 out of 10!

This was such a great stay! The location couldn’t be more perfect — right on the edge of the Pacific Ocean, waves lapping literally at your feet. We saw the Milky Way clearly at night and spent most of our time on the lanai. The BeachHouse restaurant is 10-15 steps away and is such a blast! The property is conveniently located to most South Shore attractions and we were able to visit/hike Waimea Canyon, Koke’e and Polihale state parks.
The communications with Brenda and John was outstanding too. Would definitely stay again!
